"Ugh, let's go, fuck!" Umbrella yelled with difficulty as she tried to carry the book with Parasoul before giving up and falling into the wall.
"What the hell book is this? I've never seen anything like it before." the girl said before opening the book and searching through the pages until she found a title.
"Rings of Obsession? What a strange title. I wonder what this story is about." Umbrella said before reading the book.
Rings of Obsession
Jessica Cruz. The first member of the Green Lantern to be a female pacifist. Before becoming a hero, the girl enjoyed her life as a normal person who loved plants, animals and the tranquility of being with her family.
Nevertheless. With my arrival, things were no longer the same for Jessica. The same wet dreams, the same thoughts that were related to me and the future. The Green Lantern girl spent days looking for me to get to know me better. Jessica was determined to win something she deserved.
Nothing and no one could stop Jessica. She was more than determined and set on getting something from me but...something happened. Something, which Jessica still remembers to this day.
A kiss, a hug, a phrase. The mere thought of her makes Jessica's blood boil as she remembers the person who stole her happiness. However... who said that would stop Jessica's love?
The day began for Jessica. The Green Lantern girl smiled before getting up from her bed and looking at a picture of me with her in our arms.
"Good morning, my sweet and cute big man." Jessica said before starting to kiss the photograph many times before going to get dressed.
"Mija, don't forget to throw away the dirty clothes!!." Maria yelled making the Green Lantern girl grab the dirty clothes before throwing them down a chute that would go down right next to the washing machine.
"Good morning mom!!." Jessica yelled as the girl climbed down and walked over to give Helena and Maria a kiss.
"Mija, you look very happy. Something happened?" Helena asked curiously as her wife did the laundry.
"Oh, it's nothing mom. I just think today is going to be a great day." Jessica said as the girl ate an apple.
"That's nice. Now daughter, remember. We're going on a trip today so you'll be alone for a while. You know the rules." Maria said seriously causing Jessica to roll her eyes with a smile.
"Yes mom. No parties and no boys home while you two are gone." The Green Lantern girl said with a smile before taking the cell phone from her.
"Very good. Now go to school, Mija. You're going to be late." Helena said making Jessica look at the clock. There were only 20 minutes left for classes to start.
"Oh, that's right. See you later, good luck on your trip!!." Jessica yelled before walking out of the house with a smile before going to the bus stop.
When the school bus arrived at the school. Jessica looked at something that bothered her. Carol and I were on the stairs talking, the Green Lantern girl didn't understand why she was upset but it was a feeling that she was impossible to avoid.
"Good morning guys." Jessica said with a forced smile causing Carol and I to look at the Green Lantern girl.
"Good morning, Jessica. How are you?" I asked with a smile as the Green Lantern girl walked over to where we are.
"Oh, I'm fine. And you Carol, how have you been?" Jessica asked with a sweet smile making the girl laugh.
"Great. Things are better after the talk we had months ago." The girl said with a smile. After the talk we had with Carol a while ago, the girl began to calm down and begin to love herself, although she would not deny that it was difficult to love herself.
"Oh what good news." Jessica said with a forced smile. Before the talk could continue, the school bell began to ring.
"Sorry Jess, we'll talk later. Come on Carol, we have school now." I said smiling as the two of us head inside leaving Jessica behind.
Why be angry? She was happy to help Carol, but because Jessica saw Hal's ex-girlfriend happy, the Green Lantern girl felt poison in her throat. As if she was about to say something out of line? It was something strange but at the same time... a necessity in the Green Lantern girl.
The day went on as normal for some, but for Jessica it seemed like forever. The Green Lantern girl was confused as to why her mothers didn't call her at any time or because she didn't send her a message, the girl ignored it, thinking that maybe the trip was too long and maybe she couldn't call yet.
"Come on Jessica, you can. You can." The Green Lantern girl was now in the halls with a letter in her hand. Jessica looked at my locker door on shaky legs and looked around her to make sure she was alone.
"Okay, here I go." Jessica whispered before placing the letter in my locker but the moment she dropped the letter...
"Hi Jessica." The girl was startled to hear me and turned to see me.
"Oh, Benja. What a scare, hahahaha umm. What are you doing here?" Jessica asked nervously while I was somewhat confused.
"Oh well. I came to get my backpack, I left it in my locker." I said while looking at the girl, but my statement made her nervous.
"Oh, I see. Umm, but why don't you leave your backpack behind? After all, I don't think you have anything important in there." Jessica said with a nervous smile making me look at this with confusion.
"But Jessica." I tried to keep talking but suddenly the girl banged on my door before holding me tight.
"I told you no!! You don't need that fucking backpack, did you hear me!?" The girl yelled furiously making me see this with surprise and nerves.
"Yes, it's okay Jessica. Please calm down." I said nervously making the girl relax and let go of me.
"Good. Umm, sorry Benja but. It's just that I had a very exhausting day and the truth is, I'm worried. My mothers haven't spoken to me all day and I haven't heard from them, and that makes me very anxious." Jessica said with concern as she scratched her arm.
"I understand. Umm, if you want I can spend time with you so you can calm down. Diana will be with Tatsu training and I have nothing to do at home." I said while looking at the Green Lantern girl. That made the girl feel happy and she wanted to scream but she quickly suppressed her scream.
"I'd love to. Let's go to my house, I need to see my plants after all." Jessica said with a smile as I returned the gesture with another smile.
"Sounds good to me, let's go." I said smiling before taking the Green Lantern girl home.
The night came. Jessica was cooking while I was watering some plants in the backyard.
"Benja, dinner is ready!!." Jessica yelled with a smile causing me to enter but to my amazement. I noticed that on the table there was roast beef, salad, and some peppers stuffed with cheese.
"Jessica you. Did you cook meat? But, every time you see raw meat or touch it you faint." I said very surprised making Jessica laugh.
"Well, it seems I've gotten over my meat issues." The girl said proudly. But inside, Jessica was petrified and pale from cooking meat after passing out a few times.
"Is awesome." I said in amazement as the two of us sat down to eat dinner. Jessica obviously took the peppers while I helped myself to some meat and also some salad before starting to eat.
"Benja. Can I ask you a question?" Jessica asked curiously causing me to stop eating for a moment.
"Umm, I know I'm going to be very sudden and all but. Are you having a relationship with a girl?" Jessica asked nervously causing me to look at this in surprise.
"Well. Actually, I'm not dating anyone. Lately I've been very focused on my training and I hardly have time to be with anyone." I said as I look at the girl making Jessica even more nervous and slowly her face turns red.
"Oh, well umm. I don't know about you but, me. Ummm." Jessica slowly turned red and started scratching at the table but before she could speak, her cell phone started ringing which got our attention.
"Oh, it must be my mom. I'll be right back." Jessica said with a sheepish smile before taking her cell phone and leaving the room. The girl was relieved to know something about her mother but...
"Hey, Jess. How are you?" Hal asked with a smile. That statement made the Green Lantern girl sigh in annoyance.
"What do you want, Hal? I'm busy right now." Jessica said seriously before looking at the door, cooking it in annoyance.
"Well, um. Kilowog needs you and me to investigate a new planet that was found outside the solar system a couple of hours from Earth." Hal said shyly making Jessica sigh angrily.
"Okay, how long are we going to be gone?" Jessica asked annoyed as she looked at me waiting for her.
"I think so. We'll be gone for like three or four hours. I didn't pay much attention." Hal said shyly but that annoyed the Green Lantern girl even more.
"And there's no other Green Lantern available to do this shit?" Jessica asked with a throbbing vein.
"Umm, no. And Kilowog says that because of our poor performance in training, he says that this homework will be a way to make up for our poor performance." Hal said shyly making Jessica sigh to try and calm down.
"Okay. I'll be out in five minutes. Let's get this done quick." Jessica said angrily before hanging up and walking back into the comder.
"Benja, umm. I'm so sorry, Hal called me and says we have a job to do on another planet so I have to go. I'm so sorry for leaving you alone." Jessica said sheepishly making me smile.
"No problem, Jessica. I'll be waiting for you here, I'll call you if anything happens." I said with a smile making the Green Lantern girl smile shyly.
"Hehe, yes Benja. I'll be back soon." Jessica said before leaving the house. The Green Lantern girl sighed before putting it on, then flying away from the place, the teenager was internally struggling not to want to hit Hal.
Hal and Jessica were flying out of the solar system. The Green Lantern girl was constantly thinking about me and other things but what worried her a lot were her mothers, Helena and Maria didn't call all day and that left the Green Lantern girl very worried.
"And, we're here." Hal said with a smile and slowly the two passed through the planet's atmosphere. The two looked around and only saw vegetation and trees around them.
"How strange. What planet is this?" Jessica asked surprised looking around her.
"I don't know. Kilowog didn't send you the message with the description of the planet?" Hal asked as the teen spawned a machete with his ring before beginning to cut through the leaves to clear a path while Jessica just rolled her eyes before following Hal behind.
"According to Kilowog. This planet was classified as unknown and with a level of danger not yet defined. It is said that once, a Green Lantern in search of unknown planets to investigate. He found one that caught his attention, it was a planet with plant life." Jessica said but was cut off when Hal laughed.
"A vegetable planet? How boring." Hal said as he continued to cut the plants.
"It is said that centuries ago, this planet was inhabited by an alien tribe, the planet received them with open arms but it was not until then when the aliens began to destroy everything in their path, the plants were not going to accept that someone destroyed their home, and then they slaughtered each of the aliens until they were all dead."
"When the Green Lantern arrived on this planet, after the first few days everything seemed normal, and despite the fact that he could only consume the fruit, everything seemed stable. It wasn't until one day, the Green Lantern had to evacuate the planet due to certain complications. When questioned, it is said that he in a fit of madness began massacring Green Lanterns."
"Unfortunately, that Green Lantern was executed that same day for treason. To date, the origin of such behavior is unknown, but it is said. That the planet has the ability to see people's intentions and measure their actions to see if they are considered worthy or impure. The worthy are accepted while the impure who kill their home..."
"They are killed." Jessica said in fear only to see that Hal was no longer with her.
"Hal?. Hal!?. I hope this isn't one of your fucking pranks, because I sure as hell am not in the mood." Jessica said with anger and fear as the girl used a flashlight to walk through the thick jungle.
"Fucking mother, I'm supposed to be having a romantic evening with Benja right now. And instead I'm wasting my time looking for a brainless idiot." Jessica said with annoyance but then the girl started when she heard something and turned to see some bushes moving.
"Booo." Jessica was startled and fell to the ground only to see Hal laughing.
"You should have seen the look on your face, it was amazing." Hal said with a laugh as Jessica stood up angrily.
"Damn son of a bitch!!. What's your fucking problem!? You know what, forget it!!." Jessica yelled angrily before turning around.
"Let's go back. Inform us that this planet is in a state of deep sleep, and I hope you don't mess with me again and go ask another Green Lantern for help." Jessica said angrily while Hal laughed.
"Yes, yes. Whatever you say, bitter." Hal said but suddenly the boy noticed that there were some roots under him holding his leg. Unimportantly, Hal cut the roots only to see more roots wrap around him.
"Umm, Jessica?" Hal tried to remove the roots while the girl ignored him.
"I'm not in the mood for this shit, Hal. Tonight, tonight. I was supposed to tell Benja I love him, we were going to have the night I always dreamed of but you ruined it and all by not being able to find anyone else help you with this shit." Jessica said angrily but she never noticed that the roots were slowly strangling the teenager.
"Jessica. Please." Hal couldn't breathe and slowly more roots began to appear and would begin to squeeze the teen like a snake.
"I don't want to listen to you. For God's sake, you always ruin everything. And all this shit started with this Green Lantern thing, I don't understand why you insist and insist on this, all I want is to be with Benja and, I don't know. Live a life together and be happily ever after. Ugh, don't you get it!?." Jessica screamed but when she turned around, the horror was indescribable.
Hal was being squeezed with monstrous force. His face was blue from lack of oxygen and the Green Lantern girl could swear she was listening to Hal's bones breaking. The spectacle only got worse when Jessica watched in horror as roots pierced Hal's eyes causing a rain of blood that petrified Jessica.
Jessica was pale, disturbed, and horrified at the macabre acts she saw. The horror only got worse when suddenly the roots squeezed Hal's body with such great force that suddenly all the blood came out of her eyes generating a rain of blood that also stained Jessica.
Jessica couldn't take it anymore and began to vomit in horror as the roots left Hal's corpse. The girl looked with horror at the lifeless and eyeless face of the teenager, her body was destroyed and her bones protruded from her limbs.
"Hal..." The girl watched in horror as the roots seemed to get closer to the girl, that made Jessica quickly fly away from the place but to her horror, the roots seemed to follow her.
"Get away from me!!." Jessica yelled in fear but to the girl's surprise the roots seemed to listen to her and stopped advancing.
"I...I have to get out of here!!" Jessica quickly flew off and quickly left the planet before beginning to travel aimlessly.
Hours passed. Jessica was on a meteor looking into the space void to try to forget what happened. She reported what happened to Kilowog, the veteran Green Lantern lamented Hal's death and himself was going to make sure to label the planet 'dangerous.' But...
Jessica despite feeling horrible for witnessing such a gruesome death. The girl for a strange feeling, she felt very light and very relaxed. No bad jokes, no interruption, no Hal. All of that made Jessica feel better?
"So quiet. Well, that's okay right? I mean, I tried to warn Hal and what happened, had to happen. At least I have some privacy so I can relax a bit. Damn, I don't even know if I'll be able to sleep." Jessica said disgustedly before looking at her cell phone and being surprised to notice that it was three in the morning.
"Damn. I forgot that Benja is in my house, ugh. If it wasn't for that fucking Hal Jordan, my dinner with my husband would have been perfect. I'm glad he won't bother me anymore." Jessica said with venom but then petrified when she herself heard what she said.
"Ugh. I really need to rest, I can't think straight." Jessica said before flying home.
When Jessica came to earth. The Green Lantern girl walked over to her house before opening the door, much to her surprise. The girl saw me sleeping on her chair while there was a note with the girl's name on the table.
"Hi Jess. I understand you left and I don't know when you'll be back, so I cleaned up for you and did the dishes. I hope you're okay, I'll be waiting for you until you come back. I hope everything went well. Love, Benja."
Jessica looked at me for a moment before sitting down on the couch and placing my head on her lap. The girl looked at me with a smile but to her surprise, her cell phone began to ring. Her surprise turned to relief when she realized it was her mom's cell phone, Helena's.
"Hello mom, how was the trip?" Jessica asked curiously as the girl continued to stroke my hair.
"Ugh, tiring. But on the bright side, we made it to Mexico safely. How was your day?" Helena asked curiously.
"It was good. Very good." Jessica said with a smile as she continued to stroke my hair.
"Oh how nice. I'm sorry love, I have to hang up. It's so slow that we left you home alone, if you want you can invite any of your friends to spend the night with you." Helena said with a smile making Jessica look at me sleeping on her lap.
"Oh, it's okay mom. You don't have to worry, I assure you I won't be alone. Never." Jessica said with a sweet smile as the girl slowly intertwined one of her hands with mine. The girl had a different twinkle in her eye than hers and she couldn't seem to stop staring at me as Helena spoke.
"My sweet Benja. I'm so sorry about what happened at our dinner, but we can have it again. Maybe, we can come up with something. A little more, romantic." Jessica whispered as the girl's smile grew bigger.
"Jessica? Mija, is everything alright?" Jessica seemed to come to herself before letting go of my hand in surprise and embarrassment.
"Umm, yes. It's all good, mom. I'm sorry, I was watching a soap opera and I'm a little tired." Jessica said with a smile while Helena raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"Okay. It's okay, daughter. Try to sleep, you have school tomorrow and tomorrow will be another day." The woman said while Jessica watched me sleep.
"Yes, tomorrow will be another day." The girl said with a smile.
Jessica put the cell phone on the table and slowly with her ring, the girl began to lead me to her room before leaving me on her bed. The girl had to suppress her impulses to want to undress me or do something perverted. However, the girl later noticed that my cell phone was still on and seemed to be receiving messages.
"Hey, Benja. Tomorrow you want to go train with me after school?" Jessica didn't understand why, but the girl really disliked that message.
"I can't. I'm very busy, tomorrow I'll be with Jessica all day." The Green Lantern girl didn't hesitate to answer but then the girl was very surprised by what she did before leaving her cell phone on her nightstand.
"Jessica Cruz. That was very inappropriate of you. Ugh, what do I do now? Benja will be mad at me if she finds out I answered." The girl said nervously before looking at my cell phone for the last time and then taking it and quickly putting it away in a drawer.
"I definitely need to rest. This shit doesn't even leave me alone, tomorrow I'll think about what to say to Benja and then I'm going to apologize to Diana." Jessica said before looking for the last time at the bed where I am.
Jessica slowly approached me in silence and began to remove her clothes until she was down to her underwear. The girl was staring at me without knowing why. She was confused, it was as if her body was moving on its own, as if only she couldn't control herself, let alone calm her emotions and keep them on the sidelines.
The girl slowly lay down in front of me and looked at me sleeping with a fixed gaze. Jessica's heart was beating so fast, her body heat was rising and her gaze seemed to show absolute lust as she slowly seemed to get closer to me.
"I won't be alone. Not anymore. Not anymore." Jessica whispered before hugging me slowly while one of her pupils seemed to show a heart.
"You're never going to abandon me. Right, my beautiful Benja?" Jessica whispered before turning off the light but then the girl noticed that I hugged her still sleeping.
"No, I won't..." I said sleepily. That made Jessica's smile grow.
The day slowly began. I started to wake up only to be surprised to find myself in Jessica's bed, but my shock turned to worry as I remembered last night.
"Jessica? Are you here?" I asked worriedly before leaving the room and looking around.
"Jessica. It's good that you're here, you had me worried." I said with a smile while the girl was preparing breakfast.
"Oh, sorry Benja. It's just, I was busy last night and when I came back I found you sleeping on the couch. So I decided to take you to my bed." The girl said with a smile while I blushed in embarrassment.
"You didn't have to do that but. Thank you." I said with a sheepish smile as we both sat down to eat breakfast but I noticed something.
"How strange, I swear I left my cell phone here last night. Jessica, didn't you see it?" I asked curiously but that made the girl very tense.
"Umm, no. I didn't see it, maybe it fell and I kicked it by accident. Don't worry, we'll look for it later." The Green Lantern girl said with a sheepish smile.
"Oh well. Thanks Jessica, then I guess I'll have to wait until we get back from school." I said with a small smile as we both began to eat breakfast.
After breakfast. I walked to the front door after washing the dishes while Jessica followed me from behind.
"Very good. I guess I have everything for school now, shall we go Jess?" I asked with a smile but the Green Lantern girl remembered something.
"I'll be right over, I just remembered something. I'll be right back." Jessica said before going up the stairs and walking to her room.
Jessica slowly made her way to the drawer before reaching for my cell phone. But to her surprise, the girl noticed that there was a message from Carol.
"Hello, good morning Benja. I just wanted to wish you a nice day and thank you very much for the talk we had yesterday. I was thinking about it and I think I would like to have a date with you today. What do you think?"
Jessica was petrified reading this. The girl at that moment was feeling great anger and disgust, she was squeezing the cell phone so hard that surely at any moment she would break it due to fury.
"That bitch. What does she think?" The Green Lantern girl looked at my phone in annoyance before answering.
"Are you sure? I mean, isn't it something too rushed?" Jessica asked posing as me.
"I'm more than sure. Besides, I've been planning this for a long time and I was afraid to tell you because I didn't know what you were going to say after what happened with Hal Jordan. Well, what do you think? Would you like to have a date with me?"
"Jessica, is everything okay?" The Green Lantern girl looked up the stairs before looking at my cell phone. Jessica quickly put her cell phone in my bag and started down the stairs to where I am.
"Sorry Benja, I was a little busy and I couldn't find my bag. Come on, we'll be late." the girl said before leaving the house quickly.
"Calm down, Jessica. You have to calm down, these are just texts. It's not like Carol is asking Benja to be her boyfriend." Jessica whispered in frustration but. Why was she so angry? Because she felt a strong disgust with just those normal messages?. Why did she feel the need to want to yell at Carol?
"Ugh. This is going to be a long day." Jessica said in annoyance as she continued walking while I followed behind her in confusion.
Jessica was now in geography class. The Green Lantern girl still had my cell phone while I was in math class. Suddenly my cell phone began to ring causing Jessica to look at the teacher for a moment before checking my cell phone.
"Hey, Benja. Do you mind if we go eat ice cream after school? I'm on my treat." Another message from Carol but with a heart and ice cream emoji. Jessica seemed to be disgusted with the heart emoji.
"Can't you go with someone else? Besides, I'm going to be with Jessica helping with her plants." The Green Lantern girl replied with annoyance. Jessica, realizing that, quickly put my cell phone down and tried to continue paying attention in class, but my cell phone received a message again. Jessica didn't contain her feelings and checked my cell phone.
"Taking care of plants? How boring. Come on, today there are discounts for couples. We can pretend to be boyfriends, I'll even let you kiss me." Another message from Carol but with a fire emoji. That made Jessica squeeze her pencil hard causing it to break.
"Boyfriends? Carol, you and I are friends and nothing more than that. Don't bother me again and leave me alone." Jessica turned off her cell phone before continuing to watch the class, ignoring Carol's messages.
After school. Jessica left the room and walked through the corridors before opening her locker, the girl sighed with annoyance and embarrassment. She had never answered anyone like that before, and the mere fact of doing so made her sick.
"I have to apologize to Carol. Tell her it's my fault and give Benja the phone back." Jessica said with embarrassment before walking through the halls but then the girl noticed some noises and looked at something in one of the chemistry rooms that caught her attention.
"Carol, I told you I don't know what you're talking about. I don't have my cell phone." I said with concern but the girl threw her cell phone at my face.
"Don't lie to me, Benjamin!! These messages are from your cell phone, you are a fucking bastard!! I open my heart to you and what the fuck do I get!? You are just like Hal Jordan!!." Carol yelled angrily before slapping me.
"Carol..." I tried to say something but the girl pushed me away angrily.
"Fuck you, Benjamin!! I never want to see your fucking face again!!" Carol yelled angrily before storming out of the room as Jessica glared at everything with glazed eyes.
The Green Lantern girl looked at me as I was still petrified but with a clear hand mark on my cheek. Jessica felt her blood boil from her because of her anger, her eyes seemed to glow with fire and she began to follow Carol without the girl noticing.
"Ugh, you fucking bastard. How can you play with my feelings." Carol said venomously as the girl grabbed a soda from one of the vending machines but when she turned around, she was shocked to see Jessica right behind her. That made the girl jump.
"Shit. Jessica, what are you doing here?" Carol asked with surprise but that impression increased when the Green Lantern girl put the girl against the vending machine.
"You disgusting piece of shit. How dare you raise your hand to my man." Jessica said venomously. Her hair covered her face, but Carol could see angry eyes through her hair.
"That bastard deserved it. He played with my feelings and that idiot dared to lie to me that he didn't have his cell phone." Carol said but then the girl was grabbed by the neck as Jessica's anger only increased.
"Still, you had no right to hit him. I don't give a shit about your feelings, he is mine, mine!! And you dared to hit him and that is something I will never forgive you." Jessica said coldly as Carol struggled to break free.
"Jessica...I'm not breathing." Carol said with difficulty but suddenly the Green Lantern girl grabbed the girl's hair before slamming her against the glass of the machine.
"Apologise, apologize for hitting my Benja!!" Jessica yelled before hitting Carol's head against the glass again.
The halls were empty. All that could be heard was the banging of Carol's head against the glass, the girl was struggling to stop Jessica but the blows slowly got stronger causing her to not think straight or react faster.
The blows only got worse. The glass seemed to break and slowly began to stain with blood from Carol's injuries, the girl had lost consciousness after receiving so many blows and suddenly the noise of breaking glass appeared...
"Apologise!!" Jessica yelled before giving the last blow only to see how blood began to fall from the machine which caused the Green Lantern girl to step back to watch in horror what happened.
Carol's head was stuck in the glass of the vending machine, her eyes were cut by the glass and blood did not stop gushing from the wounds until the blood touched Jessica's feet.
"Carol?..." Jessica walked slowly until she touched the girl's wrist, to the Green Lantern girl's horror there was no pulse which caused Jessica to fall and recoil in fear.
"What did I do!? This shouldn't have happened, it's all my fault!!." Jessica yelled but then she slowly looked at Carol and then she remembered everything that happened until now making the Green Lantern girl look at everything with dead eyes.
"No…it's all Benja's fault. He shouldn't have approached you in the first place, Carol. And you, you should never have laid a finger on my boyfriend." Jessica said coldly before walking over to Carol and then looking around her.
Jessica pulled Carol's hair causing her full glass head to pop out even though it caused a serious neck injury. Slowly, the Green Lantern girl began to drag Carol's body to the janitor's closet before dumping her body.
"This is where a filthy piece of trash like you should be." Jessica said but then the girl looked at Carol's ring making a smile appear on her.
"You won't mind if I take this, right?" Jessica took Carol's hand and would take the ring from her before looking at her Green Lantern ring. The Green Lantern girl felt disgusted looking at the ring. A burden that Hal Jordan forced him to carry solely by fate.
"Okay. I'll save you all trouble. I don't need a stupid fucking ring like that, though. I can't let anyone have it." Jessica said before putting Carol's ring on top of the Green Lantern ring.
Jessica looked at the two rings and then at Carol's corpse. The Green Lantern girl could remember everything that happened until the outburst of anger. All the anger Jessica had been hiding finally released. A pleasant sensation of peace, tranquility and a deep but above all, enormous relief to be able to take a load off her back.
Suddenly my cell phone started ringing and Jessica saw that it was a text from zatanna.

"Of course. I'll see you after school, Zee." Jessica said before putting my cell phone away and then she walked out of the janitor's closet before starting to walk down the halls before stopping at my classroom door and looking at me with a sad expression.

The day passed normally. I left the school before seeing Diana, Barbara, Zatanna, Kara, and Karen at the exit.
"Hello girls, how are you?" I asked with a smile but I noticed that Diana seemed somewhat insecure.
"Hello Benja. Emm, I understand that you don't want to train but, it was not necessary to answer me in such a harsh way." Diana said uncertainly which surprised me and left me confused.
"Diana, what message are you talking about?" I asked in confusion but then the amazon warrior showed me the message which surprised and confused me even more.
"But Diana. I didn't send that message, I lost my cell phone at Jessica's. I don't even have it." I said while showing my backpack to the girls. They all seemed confused to see that I don't even have my cell phone in my pockets.
"Benja is telling the truth, girls. I know my sweet assistant very well and he would never be able to say something so cold and unfeeling. After all, he is a very loving boy." Zatanna said before grabbing one of my arms causing me to turn red at the feel of the girl's breasts.
"How weird." Barbara whispered as the girl watched everything in a very analytical way before noticing something in one of the school's windows. The girl felt a deep chill down her spine when she saw that Jessica was looking at us inside the school with empty and cold eyes.
"Okay. I guess it's all a misunderstanding, still. Will you come train with me?" Diana asked with a small smile as she felt a deep relief in her heart.

"Okay, Zee. When I'm done, I'll go practice with you." I said with a shy smile while the other girls laughed, but no one knew that Barbara's laugh was a nervous laugh due to Jessica's cold gaze that seemed to devour her soul.
"Very good. See you later, my pretty assistant." Zatanna said with a flirtatious smile before leaving as she rocked her hips sensually. That made me blush in embarrassment which made Kara laugh.
"Fine, fine. That's enough. Come on Diana, I'll go with you to watch snowball train. Babs, are you coming?" Kara asked with a smile making the redheaded girl come to.
"Yes, I'll go with you. And you Karen?" Barbara asked curiously looking at the little bee.
"I can't girls. I have to go repair my suit, it's a bit damaged after the fight the other day. I'll see you later." Karen said with a smile before putting her backpack on her back.

"Now I go." The girl said before opening the door, she was very surprised to see Jessica on the other side.
"Jessica. What a surprise, ummm. I thought it was Benja." Zatanna said in surprise as the girl used magic to put her normal clothes back on while the Green Lantern girl seemed to have a smile. Something weird.
"Oh well. Benja already found her cell phone and texted me and said that training with Diana was going to take a lot longer so she asked me to come over and give you a hand." Jessica said before taking her cell phone and showing the message to zatanna.
"Oh good. Then come with me, come on in." Zatanna said as the two girls entered and walked until they reached the magical girl's room.
"Well. And what magic trick has Zee been thinking of lately?" Jessica asked curiously as the girl looked around her.
"I'm planning to use my dad's closet to perform a magic trick where Benja goes through the closet, obviously the daggers are fake and no one will get hurt." Zatanna said with a smile as the girl showed everything while Jessica looked at the daggers.
"And isn't it a bit dangerous, zatanna? It's almost a death-defying trick." Jessica said feigning surprise as she delicately moved her hands along the false edge of the daggers.
"Oh, a bit. But it's all good, a magician should always be ready and prepared for anything. There should be no mistakes at all." Zatanna said as the girl returned with her dad's closet.
"I understand. Well, what do you need me to help you with?" Jessica asked a little more calmly.
"Easy. I want you to take the fake daggers in front of you and I'll be in the closet. I'll let you know when I'm ready." Zatanna said with a smile as she walked into the closet.

"I see. Well, tell me. Do you like him? I see them very close almost all the time." Jessica said with a somewhat cold tone while the girl observed certain objects.
"Well. It's very embarrassing, but. He's a very cute boy with a huge heart, what girl wouldn't love him? Besides, we spend a lot of time with him and it's impossible not to be together but. "Benja is someone who has been through a lot. He lost his family, right? He is now alone, in a dangerous world full of villains, monsters, creatures and aliens. "I'll be his world, I'll be his life, I'll be his family. And I don't need a fucking bitch like you putting your filthy fat tits on my man!!" Jessica yelled as a light covered her.
"He is my boyfriend!!" Jessica yelled before running through the closet with a pink sword causing Zatanna to scream and start crying in pain.
A smile slowly spread over Jessica as she heard zatanna's cry of pain. A smile that slowly grew as the girl continued stabbing the closet to continue listening to the cries of the magical girl. Karen was wiping away the sweat from her tears. In front of her, there was an invention that the girl had been working on for days and even months. "Oh, okay. I guess, umm. Then go ahead and come in." Karen said with a smile as the two girls walked in but Karen never noticed that the Green Lantern girl was hiding Carol's ring.
"So, Karen. What are you doing?" Jessica asked curiously while the little bee was calm.
"Well. I know that everyone on the team says that I must confirm with my size and that you have your faith in me that I will grow one day but. The wait ends today." Karen said before opening the door to her room to reveal her hero outfit.
"So. Did you get the suit to make you grow taller?" The Green Lantern girl asked with a slight hint of surprise.
"Umm, no. But I'm pretty close, I just need to put a few more parts on it and I'll start testing soon." Karen said with a smile before continuing to work as Jessica sat up in bed to watch the little bee.

"I do not know what you are talking about." Karen said nervously but she was silenced as Jessica slammed the book into her face causing the little bee to fall to the ground.
"Answer, bitch!! All this time, while I was busy. You were taking my man!!." Jessica yelled in anger as Karen recoiled in fear.
"Jessica. I don't know what you're talking about!!." Karen screamed but suddenly some green and pink chains tied her to a table right while Jessica coldly walked to where the girl was.

"Don't be afraid, Karen. This will only hurt a little. But it's for a good cause. My cause." Jessica said before starting to turn the crank causing Karen to gasp in pain.
Karen's arms and legs began to jerk out with each turn of the crank. Jessica's smile only grew as she slowly watched her limbs break while Karen only cried and begged, but her pleas were useless.
Jessica could watch in delight as Karen's body slowly seemed to stretch like never before. Her bones creaked non-stop, the screams were getting louder that if they weren't for the rags, the screams could be like those of a soul in pain. Suddenly her skin began to break and the flesh showed, Jessica began to pull harder as the first drops of blood fell.
Jessica pulled harder and suddenly. Her limbs gave way. Karen's arms and legs were thrown into the air as the ceiling, walls and Jessica's face were covered in blood while Karen's face was now pale with a look of permanent horror on her face with her eyes unlit.

"Count on it, Snowball. We'll see you there." Kara said as I flew away. On the other hand, Diana approached where the Krypton girl and Barbara were.
"Sister. What was it you wanted to tell us?" Diana asked curiously while the redheaded girl remained very serious.
"Don't you notice something strange? Benja lost his cell phone at Jessica's house, Diana's message. It's strange that you received a message from him if his cell phone was missing. I know the way Benja writes his messages, and if we compare the messages from Benja that came to you with. Something is very wrong." Barbara said seriously making Kara and Diana sober.

"Jessica? Is everything alright?" I asked with concern but suddenly I noticed a glow and saw my cell phone on the table. I walked to pick up the cell phone and suddenly the lights went out making me scream a little out of astonishment and fear.
"God. What a scare." I turned on the flashlight but what was in front of me made me scream even louder in horror. In front of me was Karen's corpse, her arms were cooked like a macabre smile.
"Oh my God!!!." I yelled as I stepped back just to drop something. When I turned around, I noticed with horror the corpse of zatanna. Her body was mutilated and clumsily stitched up and just like Karen, the magical girl had a macabre smile.
"Karen, zatana!!" I screamed in deep horror and pain. Suddenly, I heard music and I turned back in terror as I felt something behind me. Behind me, there was a person in a wedding dress, the dress was almost entirely stained with blood, as was the bouquet of flowers.
"Oh, my love. It's good that you arrived, and I see that you already saw our bridesmaids." The person slowly removed the veil from her head showing that she was Jessica. The girl's face was made up but full of blood with eyes full of madness and lust as well as a huge smile.

"Oh my sweet Benja. You don't have to worry about what you did, after all it's their fault. You pathetic, insignificant pests ruined everything you and I had planned for our future." Jessica said coldly before spitting in zatanna's face and slowly walking over to where Karen is.
"Them. They thought they could walk into our lives just like that, and ruin our beautiful story. They thought they could replace my place in your heart, when in reality I am yours and only belong to you. And you, you belong to me and you are only mine. You are none of these bitches!!" Jessica yelled before viciously slamming Karen's head against the table.
"But it's okay. Now, they got it. And they're happy, look how happy they are for us. They're smiling, on our special day." Jessica said before raising Karen's smiling head as I watched in panic and horror.
"And it gets better. Just think about this. You and me. Living away from this filthy planet, and living happily together on a new planet. Just us, and we will live together forever with our love and passion. Isn't that great?" ." Jessica asked with a huge smile while I was shaking with fear.
"You. You're sick!! How could you kill my friends!? I trusted you!! You were my friend!!." I screamed in horror but was silenced by a slap from the girl before holding onto her face making me look at her.
"Don't talk like that to the mother-to-be of your children. I don't give a shit if you don't trust me anymore or love me anymore. I love you, I need you, you need me. We are both soul mates who were brought together by fate. And I don't mind killing any fucking little bitch that gets in our way. You're mine!!" Jessica yelled before enclosing me in a pink bubble.
"Jessica what are you doing!?" I yelled as she used magic to try to break the bubble but the girl just laughed before destroying the ceiling and flying off with me at high speed.
"Fuck everything! Fuck mom, fuck school, fuck the hero team. You and me, we're going to be happily ever after!!" Jessica yelled with a maniacal laugh, but suddenly the girl was hit, causing her to crash into a building and causing me to start falling.
"Snowball!!" I was caught and noticed that Kara was holding me in her arms before I landed with Barbara and Diana.
"Sister, nice catch. By Chronos, are you alright Benja?" Diana asked in horror as my legs trembled and I couldn't move in horror.
"Jessica. She killed Zatanna and Karen." I gasped in horror as the girls freaked out about what I said.
"You three." The girls and I turned to look in horror at the Green Lantern girl. Jessica's jaw was broken from the blow and she was glaring at us with anger and fury.
"You ruined my special day. You ruined everything!! I thought I would take Benja so I would never see you again. But I see I made a mistake. All of you will die for interfering in my life!!." Jessica yelled as a pink and green glow covered the girl causing the wedding dress to become the girl's outfit.
"Run!!" Diana yelled causing us all to start running while Jessica followed us and started throwing explosive heart things that did even more damage and destruction than Carol's hearts.
The girls and I made it to the city but we weren't safe. Jessica kept throwing hearts causing great chaos and destruction around her, the buildings began to slowly collapse causing many deaths, the strong tremors made drivers trying to escape only lead to her inevitable deaths.
"News flash. A super villain is attacking the streets of the metropolis. People are advised to hide in their homes and not come out until the situation calms down..." Suddenly the huge screen of buildings was destroyed. causing it to fall on innocent people.
"We can't fight her. With that power of the rings it's impossible for us to defeat her!!" I screamed in horror as we kept running to avoid Jessica.
"We have to do something, or a lot of innocent people will die!!" Barbara screamed in fear as Jessica continued to attack with more brutality.
"We must find a base of operations to try to find a way to end this hell!!." Diana yelled in fear before we all hid in an alley.
"We can use the pesticide factory in the city. Maybe we can hide there for a while so we can plan something." Barbara said seriously as a huge explosion rocked the place.
"We don't have a choice. Besides, that's the only place that's a bit far out of town. That'll buy us time until Jessica finds us." I said with fear while we all left the place.
Chaos was inevitable. The further we got from the city, the chaos got worse and worse. The fires, the explosions, the poor innocent people. We could clearly feel the enormous weight of guilt weighing on us.
"Okay. Let's get in quick, we can't waste time." Diana said seriously as we all entered. But suddenly we were caught by roots and held upside down.
"Well, well. If they are nothing more and nothing less than the whores of the young Titans and my beautiful flower. What are they doing here?" Pam asked coldly as the girl held the girls tightly.
"Poison ivy. You have to help us, Green Lantern went crazy and is attacking us. It's already destroying the city and we have nowhere to go, please let us stay here and help us!!" I screamed desperately as the girl made the root that trapped me get closer to her.
"Green Lantern destroying the city? Hard to believe that shit. But, if it's a hideout you're looking for, then you'll have to give me a kiss." Pam said as the girl painted her lips but that angered Kara causing her to use her thermal vision to destroy the roots.
"We're not here to trade that kind of shit!! We need a hideout because crazy bitch Jessica killed two of my friends!! You either help us or fight that crazy psycho!!" The Kryptonian girl yelled in anger while Poison Ivy looked at everything with a raised eyebrow.
"Jessica? Jessica Cruz, you crazy psycho? I find that hard to believe." Pam said, but suddenly we all heard loud banging that made us look at the door in fear.
"Benja? My love, are you here?" Jessica asked with madness in her voice causing the girls and I to get scared and run to where Pam is.
"We have to hide. I'll do what you want but we have to find a place to hide from Jessica, please!!." I screamed in horror and panic as the blows grew louder.
"Very good. Follow me." Pam said before we all left the place as the door was folded and eyes full of madness and lust looked out from the darkness of the night.
The girls and I enter a room filled with tanks of acid. We all walked slowly to make as little noise as possible but suddenly Barbara tried to lean on one of the safety rods, the bars did not support and fell into the acid.
"Be careful. These acids are capable of disintegrating anything that comes in contact with them." Pam said seriously before we hid in a small office that was on site.
"Very good. So, Jessica Cruz went crazy. Why?" Pam asked curiously as we all sat down but I sat on the floor and started sobbing in fear.
"Our sister is tainted with unbridled lust and madness for our partner here. She killed two of our friends and attempted to kidnap him." Diana said seriously making Pam look at me.
"Okay. What's the plan? We can't stay here forever." Kara said coldly while all remained silent.
"The rings are her source of power. But with the insanity she has, she has literally unlimited energy. Our only choice is to make her lose her rings. But how?" Pam asked seriously but then we saw Barbara think of something before she bit her lip.
"What if. Jessica loses the rings?" Barbara asked fearfully making the room silent while the girls looked at this with fear.
"Barbara. You're not thinking about that, are you?" Kara asked fearfully but then everyone saw me stand up.
"It's the only alternative we have. Metropolis no longer exists. Families, homes, everything is lost. We're supposed to protect people at best and help the weak, but we fail." I said coldly as my hair slowly changed color to a dark shade.
"Jessica needs to be hit for what she did. She wants me, so I'll do this." I said seriously but that scared the girls even more.
"Benja. Are you sure about this?" Diana asked nervously but then they noticed that I looked at a picture of Karen and Zatanna on my cell phone, at that moment I remembered what Jessica did to them making my eyes turn blood red.
"I'm more than sure." I said coldly while the girls just nodded.
"Please Benja, just be careful." Diana said with fear making my eyes change color again and go back to being magenta.
"I promise, Diana. I'll be back. I won't leave you, ever." I said smiling before leaving the room as my eyes turned blood red again.
Jessica was walking through the corridors until she found the room where we are and smiled maddeningly when she saw me.
"Benja. My sweet husband, are you ready to go with mommy to our new home?" Jessica asked madly as I broke into a cold sweat from my nerves before relaxing and looking at everything in a dull manner.
"Yes. But please, let the girls go. They haven't done anything." I said seriously as Jessica walked over to where I am before gently caressing my cheek.
The girls watched in anger as Jessica gave me a passionate kiss while I shed tears due to fear. I quickly hugged the Green Lantern girl which surprised Jessica.
"Oh Daddy, relax. When we get home you can break me all you want until I lose my mind." Jessica said lustfully but my eyes were covered by my hair.
"No. This ends here. And now!!." I yelled before making my flaming sword appear and cut off the Green Lantern girl's hand causing Jessica to scream in pain as she falls to the ground.
At that moment I looked at Jessica's rings before taking them and putting them away. I looked at the Green Lantern girl holding the place where she cut her hand with tears as my hair slowly turned back to white and my eyes back to magenta.
"This ends here, Jessica. I never want to see you again in my life. You killed so many innocent people, you destroyed an entire city because of your madness. So much blood spilled, for nothing." I said regretfully before turning around and making my sword disappear.
"Get out of my sight. Don't come looking for us again and leave us alone. Consider this your last warning." I said coldly before starting to walk but Jessica slowly began to remove something from her dress.
"You...if I can't have you. Then no one will have you!!." I turned around and everything slowed down for me. Jessica jumped on me with a knife while I closed my eyes expecting the worst. But suddenly a foot hit Jessica's face causing her to fall to the edge of the hallway.
"Benja won't be hurt again. Never again." Barbara said coldly as we moved closer to see Jessica holding on to her only hand.
"Benja please put me up. I didn't mean to hurt you I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I'm your girlfriend." Jessica said through tears as my eyes glazed over.
"You're not my girlfriend. You bloody fucking murderer!!" I yelled furiously before kicking Jessica's face causing the girl to fall into a vat of acid.
The girls and I watched in horror and nausea as Jessica was consumed by the acid. The cries of despair, supplication and pain were very strong but slowly everything was silenced as Jessica's remains rose to the surface. My legs gave out and I fell to my knees before crying out in despair as the girls helped me calm down.
"Metropolis was no longer the same. The whole city was just the rubble of what was once a beautiful city. The few people who survived that massacre were immediately evacuated. Everything was lost. The pier, sweet justice, the school. Nothing was left, not even the slightest rubble. Everything was completely destroyed."
"All those who fought against Jessica. They were killed in the most morbid and gruesome ways, as if each one of these poor people had been sent to Tartarus. It was a scenario impossible to see or describe with the slightest words."
"We sit defeated, disgraced. Every one of our loved ones was killed and no one survived. From that day on, our spirits of heroism were slaughtered worse than the innocent people Jessica killed." A blue haired woman said as she sharpened a sword.
"How awful." Hippolyta said with sweat on her face while the woman looked at her face on the edge of the sword.
"Let's avenge each of those deaths by killing Jessica. Benja had to work up the courage to take Jessica's power away, but despite the fact that he gave her the chance to live. That damn bitch attacked him from behind, my sisters and I We did what we had to do. And Benja put an end to her and her madness at once." Diana said coldly as she put the sword aside.
"But that's not the worst. Benja didn't stop crying inconsolably despite our attempts to calm him down. He cried until he passed out and fell asleep in our arms. We understood that metropolis was no longer a livable city and that same night. We made a funeral for our fallen sisters, before leaving and coming here." Diana said ruefully before lowering her head.
"It makes me happy at least that your friends, you and Benja are here. Remember daughter, you will always be welcome here." Hippolyta said with a smile before hugging her daughter while Diana accepted her hug with a smile.
"Thank you mom. It really makes me happy to have come back here, but above all, it makes me very happy to see that Benja recovered his smile and happiness, it was a difficult path for him to overcome everything. But I'm glad he made it." Diana said with a smile but then the girls saw an Amazon warrior entering.
"Queen Hippolyta, Princess Diana. Benja and the other women are waiting for you in front of everyone." Said the woman making Diana look in a mirror. The Amazon warrior had a beautiful dress.
"Do you think I look good? The girls and I have been planning this wedding for months and I don't want to ruin it." Diana said nervously but the girl relaxed when Queen Hippolyta took her by the shoulders.
"You are radiant, my daughter. Now, go with your man and your friends. Today is a special day for you and I hope you choose your words well." The woman said with a smile making Diana smile sheepishly.
"Yes mom. See you at the ceremony." Diana said before walking down the halls as the girls came out of the rooms wearing the same wedding dress.
"Nervous, sister?" Kara asked with a smile making Diana giggle sheepishly.
"Hahaha, a lot. I couldn't sleep all night, I was planning the perfect words for this day." Diana said nervously but then Pam put a hand on the girl's shoulder.
"Relax, Diana. Everything will be fine, just have confidence in yourself." Pam said with a smile.
"Yeah, just trust you. Benja loves us for being ourselves, we just have to stay the same." Barbara said with a smile as some Amazon warriors opened the doors and saw that I was on a balcony in a suit.
"Hello girls. You look great." I said smiling and with a slight touch of pink on my cheeks. The girls smiled with a blush as they laughed and approached where I was.
"Thank you Snowball. You look amazing too, just wait for what we have planned tonight for everyone." Kara said with a flirtatious smile making the girls giggle while I turned red.
The girls and I held hands while the Amazon warriors clapped for us. Now we are in Themyscira, it was difficult for us to escape from our past. But now, we will protect our people and will not allow anyone to attack us. I will not lose anyone again, and I will fight until the end. No one will die again, ever again.
Umbrella's eyes were shining like stars. The girl felt disturbed, disgusted but she was also amazed.
"That was amazing!! Fuck everything, I'm not taking this book with Parasoul. I have to take this to my room now." Umbrella said with a huge smile before picking up the book with difficulty.
"What book are you talking about?" Umbrella yelled and turned to face Crimson.
"Crimson. Nice to see you, you look good today um. As good as an undead?" Umbrella said with a nervous smile at Crimson's blank stare.
"Your words are so quality that you almost make me feel something. But that doesn't change the subject, whose book is that?" The gothic girl asked curiously while Umbrella was sweating profusely from the gothic woman's look.
"Umm. Okay, okay. It's a book by Benja, I found it and I wanted to know what it was. But it's a book full of horror stories. Please don't tell Benja!!." Umbrella yelled in fear while Crimson still had an expressionless face.
"Normally I would tell Benja but. I'm frustrated, Valentine was going to take me and Moira to the morgue to see some experiments, but they're busy. So you'll have to do something instead." Crimson said with her arms crossed.
"What do you want?." Umbrella asked fearfully as a smile appeared on Crimson. That was a bad sign for the little girl.
"Have Parasoul cancel his date with Benja this Friday. I have a family dinner planned with him and my family at the cemetery. Can you keep that?" Crimson asked with a smile as Umbrella sweated.
"Parasoul is going to kill me!! Or even worse, she will kill you!!." Umbrella yelled but then noticed Crimson shrugged.
"Then I will have to tell Benja the truth. Stealing an important book from my boyfriend, he will surely be furious and fight with Parasoul. Very possibly Benja will end up with her and Parasoul will be depressed by the lack of love and the immense pain of his broken heart learning that her boyfriend completely dumped her because of something her sister did." Crimson said but that made Umbrella drop the book.
"Okay, okay!! I'll make him cancel his date, but stop messing with my head!!." Umbrella yelled in fear as Crimson walked over to the girl with a victorious half smile.
"The appointment is at 8. Have my man wear gothic clothes for the occasion, preferably deep black and blood red." Crimson said before heading down the stairs to find her older brother.
"That was dark. Even for me, sister." Ennui said with slight surprise in her voice.
"In love and war. Everything counts." Crimson said matter-of-factly before leaving with Ennui.
So far today's chapter. A thousand apologies for the delay, I was busy and I had almost no imagination left to finish this chapter. But still, I hope you liked it and I hope you're enjoying the stories so far.
