Disclaimer: Here we are everyone. The premiere of season three, as well as the Identity Era. This is a season I've been brainstorming for months now, and I've been so excited to write it. I hope I do it justice as both a continuation of what we saw before, and the story I want the season to have. So without further ado, let us commence!

Demon Defense arc Episode one: Same Friends, New Trials Part One

The screen lit up with the beach of Adventure Bay being shown with a red fire truck with black stripes on it entering a spot in the parking lot. After it parked, out hopped a Dalmatian puppy who was in the driver's seat. This puppy was revealed to be Flare, who was now ten years old and sported a fresh new daisy in his right ear with his usual smile. Snow, who was now nine, jumped out of the passenger's seat as Flare called over to one pup in particular as he ran onto the beach. "Happy birthday Rocky!"

It was Rocky's thirteenth birthday, and the Mix was sitting at the birthday table by himself as he hugged Flare when he ran over, being happy that he and Snow made it. "Thanks Flare. Glad you guys could make it before we had lunch."

"Oh, right!" Flare rushed off and ran past Snow as he announced what he was doing. "I left some dishes in the fire truck! Be right back!"

Snow smiled as Flare ran past her and went over to Rocky as she handed him the drawing she made. "I know we're not opening presents yet, but Flare convinced me to get back into drawing, and I thought this would be a good start."

Rocky saw that the drawing was of him and Snow finishing the device used to find Everest in his room. He couldn't help smiling as he looked back on that day. "Well I've never seen you draw before, but I think I can say you haven't lost your magic. Thanks Snow!"

Snow smiled, glad she was able to please Rocky with Flare then returning with three dishes, which he was balancing on his paws and head. Snow helped him set them down by taking the one on his head and setting it down next to the cake. "That's one way to make it as a waiter."

Flare giggled a bit before pointing out what the three dishes were. He knew Rocky would like the one next to him especially. "The one closer to you Rocky, is that spicy chicken salad stuff you like so much." Rocky licked his lips in response to that with Flare then pointing out the other two dishes were. "I also brought burgers, my specialty, and shepherd's pie. My first time making that last one too; I hope it turned out good."

Snow smiled to Flare with Rocky suddenly being hugged by Zuma, who was now twelve. "Who wants more biwthday cuddles?"

"I do Guapo!" Rocky exclaimed joyfully. Guapo is spanish for handsome by the way. However, Rocky started worrying that this might be awkward in front of Flare and Snow. "Although, should we really do it in front of-"

"Cuddles!" Zuma insisted happily, leaving Rocky to shrug and join Zuma in for the cuddles. Flare silently mouthed to Rocky that the two lovers were good, and then signaled Snow to go play with the others, which the two then set off to do.

Rocky then got up with Zuma snuggling his arm as they walked over to where the others were. "Come on Zuma. Let's help you keep your title.

Flare and the others arrived to where the others were, and they were using a Pup Pup Boogie machine that was designed specifically for the beach. Best friends Chase and Marshall, who were fourteen and twelve respectively, were currently having a round at the game. Flare called out to the two as he cheered on his older brother. "Yeah! Go Marshall!"

Chase was confident, as usual, whereas with Marshall, while he was definitely better than he was before, his natural clumsiness wasn't much help in this scenario. It eventually led to him falling off his mat and rolling into Everest, who was now thirteen. The two canines stopped rolling quickly with Chase pausing the game as he went with the others to make sure they were okay. "You guys alright?"

Flare was happy to confirm this as he stood up with Everest and the two held paws affectionately. "We're okay!"

The other pups laughed with Zuma letting go of Rocky's arm when he looked at his parents, with Celeste holding a special someone in her arms. It was a baby Chocolate Labrador. This was Zuma's little sister, Melody Thorne, who was almost a year and a half. Celeste could tell in an instant that Zuma wanted to hold her sister, so she handed her to him, much to Melody's joy. "Is Melody enjoying Wocky's pawty? I hope she is. Yes I do."

Melody let out a baby puppy bark as Skye, who was now thirteen, asked Zuma a question regarding Melody's age. "I've always wondered Zuma. Does it ever feel weird to you that Melody was born so long after you?"

"No, not weally." Zuma admitted, feeling only immense joy whenever he thought about Melody. "Besides; this cutie pie is good pwactice for if Wocky and I stawt a family."

Rocky rubbed Melody's head, making her giggle as Rocky joked about something regarding Melody's birth. "It's the fact that she was born close to Christmas that concerns me the most."

"I can believe that." Claw spoke up as he walked over to Rocky and Zuma. He was now thirteen years old, and he was quick to remind Zuma of how he behaved during Melody's first birthday. "What you did to my bed made it clear that the outcome for being short on spoiling her sweet would be anything but."

Zuma chuckled in response to that day, and Gabe rubbed Zuma's head as he commented on that scenario. "It certainly was an eventful birthday. Just like this one." Zuma brought Rocky in for another hug, making Rocky smile as Melody licked his cheek. Even though they weren't blood related, Rocky felt like he was an official member of the Thorne family.

A little after that, everyone was eating lunch at the party table, and Marshall noticed that Flare wasn't eating much. He seemed more in thought than he normally did. And Marshall knew he'd never pass up an opportunity to eat. He hoped he wouldn't mind talking about it, since the others were busy eating. "What's wrong Flare?" Flare looked at Marshall, who pointed out how little he was eating. "You barely touched your food."

Flare looked at his burger and fries, proving Marshall to be right. He only ate a couple bites of his burger, which was slower than normal. "Oh yeah. I guess I didn't." He then started to open up to Marshall a little about what he was thinking about. "I've just had a lot on my mind lately."

"You wanna talk about it?" Marshall offered, hoping this was something Flare was willing to open up about.

"I mean... maybe?" Flare answered, not really knowing if he could describe what he was feeling right now. "It's kind of hard to think of the words."

Marshall knew what that was like. He freaked out like crazy when filling out his Paw Patrol application. "Maybe I can help you. Just give me the quickest version you can right now and we'll go from there later."

Flare figured that was only fair, since Marshall clearly wanted to help. After thinking hard for a couple seconds, he found some words to describe his feelings. "I guess I've been more reflective lately." The two felt that was a start, but Flare wanted to save more for later. "Maybe we can talk more about it later. I don't wanna ruin Rocky's party. And I might be able to word it properly by then."

"Okay, that's fair." Marshall then encouraged Flare to eat his food. "At least eat your food. You made these burgers yourself after all."

"Haha. Yeah, you're right." Flare started eating his burger again, feeling a little better after having this talk with Marshall. Marshall went back to eating as well, but he couldn't help wondering if he knew whether or not he'd be able to help Flare with this. The two brothers didn't know this, but Snow had overheard the conversation, since she was next to Flare when it happened. She hoped Flare was okay. Maybe she should see if he was comfortable talking to her about it too.

After everyone had finished eating lunch, Rocky was opening his presents, only to find that he didn't get one from Zuma. Richie was quick to assure Rocky that he didn't forget. "Don't worry Rocky. Zuma wouldn't forget about you."

"Oh, I know Richie." Rocky assured Ryder, knowing that Zuma would have something special planned for him, as he usually did. He was actually pretty excited for what the gift would be. "I think I have an idea about what he'll be giving me too."

Zuma was making sure his guitar was tuned with Ryder patting his shoulder with a smile. "He's gonna love it Zuma. Break a leg."

"Pfft. That's acting Wyder dude. But thanks." Ryder rubbed Zuma's head before he walked up to Rocky and spoke up. "Can I have evewyone's attention please!?" Everyone focused their attention onto Zuma, especially Rocky, who instantly noticed his guitar. Zuma was a little nervous, but managed to keep his composure. "I know there isn't anything on this table fwom me. I wanted to get you something... special, for your fiwst year of teen hood." Zuma started playing a soft and loving melody on his guitar, which instantly reached Rocky's heart. "Something as special as you are to me."

Zuma played his melody for a bit longer, and when he saw that everyone was watching, he started singing his song to Rocky; that being, The Hope You Gave Me. "When I fiwst came to Adventuwe Bay... I was almost weady to give up. But that's when I met you. You showed me that there were still... good people I could twust. You helped me to stay too."

Rocky smiled as he looked back on the day he met Zuma, knowing what this song was about. "When you offewed me your paw... you bwought me to the life I've come to love. And that love grew ovewtime. It took some time to adjust... but you weally helped me see. My life could weach it's pwime." Celeste and Gabe looked at each other lovingly with Melody giggling in response to Zuma's song, showing that she loved his music. "It may not have always been pewfect... but I simply don't cawe. The hawd times were easy to get thwough with you there."

Zuma played a couple more beats before going back to the music, and Marshall held Everest's paw as Zuma continued singing. "When we fiwst met on that fateful day, I knew I wanted to get to know you." Chase wrapped his arm around Skye lovingly, who smiled as she looked up at him while listening to the song. "And the more I got to know who you were, I stawted to grow feelings for you too."

Claw, Ryder, and Richie were watching as well with Ryder and Richie smiling to each other over how far these pups have come, and Claw nodding with respect for Zuma. "If anyone said life would be like this before, I would've told them that they were cwazy." Flare looked at Snow and put a paw on her shoulder, surprising her a bit, but making her smile as she looked at Flare. "But now that we're here, it's easy to see, that it's all the twuth, as honest as it can be."

Zuma walked over to Rocky as he kept playing, touching the Mix's heart strings with his song to him. "This is as far fwom a lie as it can ever get, the one in fwont of me, is the pup who bwings me glee. You convinced me to do what I love. And now my passion for music is fwee." Rocky stood up on two legs like Zuma did, being a little taller than Zuma, but he didn't care. He was just happy to sing for Rocky. "And that passion was used to write this song, and my heawt never told me, not to let it be. And I think it's clear to see, how gwateful I am for..."

Zuma did a couple more strums after a brief stop. When he did, his and Rocky's eyes met, making it clear that they meant the world to each other. "The hope you gave me."

Celeste couldn't fight the urge to call out to Zuma as he played the final strums, which he was thankfully happy about. "Yay Zuma! That's my son for ya!"

Zuma finished the song then and there, and Rocky wiped the tears of joy from his eyes when he did. "Does that mean you liked it?"

"It's the best gift you've ever given me!" Rocky exclaimed, and he brought Zuma in for a kiss, which he was ready for. The kiss was a passionate one, and the same guitar beat played over the scene after it started. A dolphin hopped out of the water and chirped, showing just how much love was in that kiss. When the kiss ended, Rocky pulled Zuma away, and the two looked at each other lovingly with one thing being certain. Their love was eternal, and nothing could break them apart.

A little bit after Zuma's song, the pups were eating Rocky's cookie flavored birthday cake, and Rocky started to feel something in his mouth. For some reason, his teeth felt different, and he didn't know what to make of it. Chase finished his slice of cake and burped into his paw before noticing that Rocky was poking at his teeth. "Ya got something stuck in there buddy?"

"No, it's not that." Rocky answered, explaining what it actually felt like as he poked at his tooth again. "For some reason, my teeth feel like they're bigger than normal."

Chase started checking Rocky's teeth as Zuma came over while helping Melody use her baby teeth to eat her slice of cake. When he saw what was going on, he had to ask what Chase was doing. "Um... Chase dude?" Chase and Rocky looked at Zuma as he continued. "Are you looking for spare cake in Wocky?"

"Nah, that'd be gross; even for me. Rocky said something about his teeth, so I was trying to see what he meant." Chase explained, showing Rocky's teeth to Zuma to see if he could tell. "I think his teeth might've grown more than normal size for teenage dogs."

Zuma got a good look at his teeth, making sure to keep Melody away from Rocky's jaw as he did. When he got a good look, he saw that they did in fact, look bigger. "Yeah, they DID gwow in side. They got longer at least."

Rocky knew he wasn't just imagining things. Now he just had to figure out what this meant. "Do you think this could be a sign for something?"

"Maybe. My teeth sure didn't grow that size when MY teenage years started." Chase reminded Rocky, hoping he would be okay despite this fact. "Let me know if anything else starts to feel weird. Maybe my experience with puberty can help you."

"I'll do that. Thanks Chase." Chase nodded with assurance upon that, and Rocky then went to talk to Zuma. They all hoped that this didn't mean anything too dangerous in the long run.

After the party, which ended at around four, Flare and the others were arriving back at the Lookout with Flare getting ready to talk to Marshall. "Okay Marshall. I think I have more to say about this now."

"Sounds good to me." Marshall replied, and then he kissed Everest's cheek to let him know they'd hang out more soon. "Brother emergency Eve. I'll find you when it's done."

"Do what you have to Mar Mar." Everest said lovingly, and when she walked off, Snow saw an opportunity to learn more about this herself.

As Flare and Marshall were walking off, Snow chimed in, being ready to admit that she overheard their conversation. "If you guys don't mind, could I maybe... join you?" Flare and Marshall figured this was about their talk from earlier. Thankfully, Snow confirmed it in the next thing she said. "I overheard you guys talking earlier Flare. If something's bothering you, I wanna be there to help."

Marshall looked at Flare, who figured one more canine couldn't hurt. He smiled as he let Snow know that he was okay with it. "The more to talk to, the better, I guess. It may take me a few minutes to find the right words."

Snow smiled and walked off with Flare and Marshall, and Zuma noticed Rocky picking at his teeth again. He knew that was bad for him, so he decided to help him take his mind off of it. "Come on Wocky. Let's go watch a movie or something, to help clear your head."

Rocky liked the sound of that. Anything beat stressing over what could be a small change. "That sounds like a great idea. Let's do it." Rocky and Zuma headed off to watch their movie, hoping that it would help Rocky feel better about things.

Flare was trying to find the words to tell Snow and Marshall how he felt. He was holding Princess Chocolate so he could have his father's help with that. "It started when I turned ten. I started to feel more anxious, and my body has been starting to feel... different, than it used to."

Snow and Marshall were both sitting next to Flare on his bed, and Marshall put a paw on his shoulder as he spoke up about that. "Entering the double digit years can be really stressful at first. I know I had a lot anxiety after MY tenth birthday."

"It's different from that Marshall." Flare informed Marshall, going into as deep of an explanation as he could with what little information he had. "I've been having these weird thoughts lately. Like, is what I see real... or not?" Snow and Marshall could tell this was hitting Flare pretty hard. He wished he knew what the answer was. "These kinds of thoughts... make little sense to me."

Snow wanted to know more, hoping that Flare was still willing to open up. "What do you mean by, is what you see real?"

Flare had an idea on how he could describe that. Hopefully, it would explain his thoughts well enough. "Well... I see a different canine when I look into the mirror. One who's a Dalmatian like me, but has a different appearance than my own." Flare looked at Princess Chocolate, who made him safer with these thoughts on his mind. "It's almost as if... I see a completely different canine in myself when looking at what's supposed to be my own reflection."

Even though Snow and Marshall didn't know exactly what was going on with Flare, they were still ready to help him figure it out. Marshall made that abundantly clear as he responded to what Flare was telling the two of them. "I'm not sure I know what these thoughts you're having mean Flare. But make no mistake. I'm ready to help you find out."

"That makes two of us." Snow assured Flare, but as she went to put a paw on his shoulder, she had a brief vision of when she slapped him. That made her stop, showing that she still felt bad for how badly she hurt him that day.

Flare and Marshall saw Snow's face with Flare speaking up with concern. "Snow? Are you alright?"

Snow snapped out of it and assured Flare that she was okay. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry. Just... never heard about anything that deep before."

"I'm right there with ya Snow." Marshall admitted, knowing that Snow was as worried about how this would go as she was. "I'm sure we'll all figure this out."

Flare put a paw on Snow's shoulder and smiled, which always brought joy to the Husky. She smiled back with compassion, knowing that helping Flare would always be her top priority. "Yeah. I am too." The two friends then blushed softly before looking away, possibly showing feelings for one another. Flare then looked at Princess Chocolate again as he thought about how much this talk helped him. He still had a lot of questions, but he was glad that he got to express what he was feeling to the extent that he could with his older brother, and his best friend.

Chase and Skye were in Chase's room later, and Chase was checking himself out in the mirror while talking to Skye about his talk with Rocky and Zuma. "It's not the teenage hormones I was worried about. More so the fact that his teeth were longer than most dogs when they turn thirteen." Chase then turned around and started checking out his butt in the mirror as he continued to express his concern. "I don't know if it'll be the same as when MY teenage hormones started kicking in."

Skye could tell that Chase was genuinely worried about Rocky, but didn't think that this would lead to anything too serious. "Maybe this is just his other breed kicking in Chase." Chase started to think about that possibility as Skye assured him that Rocky would be okay when the German Shepherd stood up on two legs. "I'm sure Rocky will be fine."

"That's what I'm hoping for." Chase admitted before he finished checking himself out. As he gave a kiss on his paw and blew it to the mirror, he went over to Skye and sat down next to her. "And if you're right about his other breed finally showing, then we'll finally know what his dad's breed is. I've kinda wondered that since we met."

Skye couldn't find a reason to blame Chase for that one. Rocky never talked about his family, not even his father's breed. She hoped it wouldn't be too hard on him. "His dad wasn't really the best person from what Richie told us. Do you think Rocky will have bad memories of him and Charm if his teeth do lead to that?"

"If that happens, we'll be there for him Skye." Chase assured Skye, being far from ready to give up on Rocky yet. "I can't help but wonder if those thoughts will be worse than his thoughts about Charm. The only thing we know about Slash from Rocky is that he told someone not to let Charm know about something. But that 'something' could be just about anything." Chase then hatched an idea and brought it up to Skye to see what he thought. "Do you think we could help him figure out what that 'something' is?"

"I don't know Chase. I'd love that, but we'd have to know where to look first." Skye reminded Chase, leaving him to worry about whether or not he could help Rocky find closure in that department. Skye's smile however, made it clear that she had some encouraging words for him. "Still. If anyone can help him find closure, you, Ryder, and Richie would be the best picks." Chase smiled and nuzzled Skye lovingly after she said that. He definitely had hope that he could help Rocky thanks to her supportive words.

Rocky and Zuma were getting ready for bed later that night, and as Rocky was looking at his teeth in the mirror, Zuma was playing a soft melody on his guitar. When Zuma noticed, he kept playing, but looked at Rocky to let him know he was looking out for him. "Ya know, I don't mind you having big teeth. It doesn't make you look scawy to me."

Rocky stopped poking at his teeth and breathed in with his nose, and out from his mouth in an attempt to open up to Zuma about his feelings. "It's mostly about my father." The mention of Slash led to Zuma stopping his guitar playing. He set his guitar down as Rocky went over to their bed to sit next to him. "I can't help worrying that I'm gonna resemble him later down the line."

Zuma didn't know much about Slash, other than he wasn't the best father. Or the best canine for that matter. "Even if you have his bweed genes, you'll never be like him."

"We can't know for sure Zuma." Zuma listened closely as Rocky expressed what he was so worried about. "I still don't know for sure what led to Charm being the sociopathic maniac he is now, much less what led to my father being this way. For all I know, I could have it in MY genes too, just like his breed, and I'm just a late bloomer."

"That won't happen!" Zuma assured Rocky, holding his paws tightly as he made it clear how much he meant what he was saying. "I know it won't. You're a good canine Wocky, and you always will be. The past five yeaws I've known you for are enough to pwove that to me, no matter how bad of a day I'm having."

Rocky wanted to believe Zuma, but he couldn't help stressing over what was on his mind. "I do want that to be the case. I just... can't help stressing over this whole thing."

"Maybe getting a good night's sleep can help with that?" Zuma suggested, pinning Rocky down on the bed gently as he continued to comfort him. "The two of us, snuggled up togethew, as comfy as can be. Just an idea." Rocky smiled and started hugging Zuma as they lied down. Despite his stress, he was happy to have someone like Zuma in his life. Zuma pulled their blanket over them to help them sleep comfortably throughout the night.

The next morning, Zuma was waking up with a yawn, still hugging Rocky as he noticed something different. His fur felt different form before, like he had a new, fluffier coat. He loved the feel of it, but he had to check to see if it was still Rocky. When he sat up, he saw that Rocky's legs were now white, like his father's. He also looked to have a cleaner pelt than he normally did. He also looked a little stronger, which Zuma felt when touching his chest. The fur on the back of his head was straight too. The only thing Rocky had from his former build was the patch on his left eye.

Zuma gently shoved Rocky in an attempt to wake him up, knowing that he'd wanna know about this. "Wocky, wake up."

Rocky awoke slowly, yawning as he responded to what he thought Zuma wanted. "We can cuddle later Zuma. I need more energy."

"It's not that. You may wanna look in a miwwor." Zuma advised Rocky, who sat up when Zuma brought that up before he assured him that it wasn't bad. "I mean, I love what I see, but still."

"You mean I look different!?" Rocky exclaimed, getting off the bed and walking over to a nearby mirror. While he looked more handsome than he did before, he was horrified. He looked like a spitting image of his father if he were a teenager. The longer teeth, the new fur coat, the white legs, and he even looked as tall as Chase. Zuma's concern went through the roof when he saw how scared Rocky was. especially when he started hyperventilating. Rocky then screamed out of fear, which was heard from outside the Lookout and scared away a flock of birds.

Rocky kept looking at himself in the mirror with immense fear as Zuma tried to comfort him in his time of need. "It's okay Wocky, weally. I love fluffy fur. And you look way better than Slash."

"I do want to believe that." Rocky admitted, and this was when the other pups arrived at his door and entered the room.

"Rocky! Are you okay?" Chase asked, being the first to enter his room due to arriving first. "We heard you scream!" Chase noticed Rocky's fur coat and couldn't help but admire it as he walked up to him. When Zuma saw Chase checking Rocky out, he gave Chase a death stare. Chase realized what he was implying and assured Zuma he wasn't thinking of doing anything sleazy. "Don't worry Zuma, I'm just looking. We're both spoken for."

Rocky breathed in through his nose and out from his mouth before looking at Chase to let him know what this was about. "I look like my father."

Everest got a good look at Rocky and didn't see much resemblance between him and Slash. "I haven't seen him in a while Rocky, but you don't look the way I remember him. You look more like a wolf than anything."

"Then I guess wolf was my mystery breed Everest. This is the exact same kind of coat HE had." Rocky revealed, getting more anxious as he started walking past everyone. "I need some fresh air." Rocky walked through the hallway with everyone being worried about him as he tried to find a spot to clear his head. Zuma was the most worried out of all of them. He really wanted to help Rocky, since he knew how serious this was for him.

Chase then spoke up, feeling that he knew what the best call should be for this situation. "We should give Rocky some time to cool off. Let's just go on with our day, and we can help him when he gets back." The pups all did so, despite worrying about Rocky's mental state with that current image in his mind.

Rocky was walking around Adventure Bay, hoping that some time in town would help him clear his head. He couldn't get the thoughts of his father and Charm out of his head. Did Slash really have something to do with why Charm turned evil? Was his new fur coat a sign that he would be like his father in the future? What would he do if he started showing signs of being evil? Those thoughts soon stopped however, as he then heard a growling stomach and looked into the alleyway he heard it from.

When Rocky heard what sounded like moaning from a little kid, his instincts kicked in and he went in. He looked around a bit, hoping to help whoever was down here. "Hello? Is anyone here?"

Out came a young Bulldog, who fell before Rocky and startled him, revealing that he was holding his stomach after having woken up. "Great. Woken up by hunger again."

The Bulldog saw Rocky, who looked heavily concerned for him due to his young age. He was kind of scared do to him looking like a wolf, but Rocky was quick to assure him otherwise. "It's okay, I won't hurt you. I can help you get food if you want."

The Bulldog wasn't very fond of the offer for reasons that Rocky didn't quite understand. He simply picked up his backpack and rejected the offer independently. "Hmph. Thanks for the offer bucko, but I get my own food."

The Bulldog walked past Rocky and out of the alleyway, leaving Rocky to give a sly grin as he brought up something he knew would get his attention. "Fine then. I guess you don't want a home cooked meal."

That made the Bulldog stop in his tracks. Could Rocky really get that for him? He turned around with his guard up to make sure he was being honest. "You can get that for me?"

"Yep. My friend Flare makes the best food you'll ever find here in Adventure Bay." Rocky assured the Bulldog, glad his observation skills were still intact. "Of course, if you don't want that after all, then I guess I can eat two portions."

The Bulldog flinched in response to that and instantly rejected his former statement, knowing he couldn't pass up a home cooked meal. "On second thought, that sounds like a great idea! I haven't had something that good in months."

This made Rocky feel bad. He felt like he just gaslit a homeless puppy. He couldn't think about that now. He had to get him some food. "Then come along." The Bulldog followed Rocky, who started guiding him back to the Lookout as he thought about what just happened. 'I'm glad I managed to convince him to come with me, but... did I really just gaslight an orphan dog?' Rocky had to shake those thoughts off for now. His top priority was getting the Bulldog food.

Chase was getting a good look at his butt in the mirror in his and Skye's room while wearing his police pup uniform. When Skye came back in while finishing a slice of bacon she was eating, Chase took the chance to ask her a question. "Be honest baby. Am I starting to look fatter?"

Skye observed Chase and saw that he definitely looked bigger than he used to. His butt was bigger too, although, she liked that part. "A little, but you still look pretty fit." Skye then took the time to compliment his butt as she looked at how tight it looks. "Your butt managed to get bigger in a good way too. And your pup suit really shows that off."

Chase always loved getting compliments about his butt, and as he looked back at the mirror with his butt reflection shown, decided to play along with Skye's flirting. "Then let's see good my (Sways butt from side to side twice each) handsome butt looks during this!" Then, on cue, Chase lifted his tail and cut...

PHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHT

...a ripe and noxious ten second fart, making Chase's butt vibrate as he filled the room with a yellow fart cloud that reeked of rotten eggs. Skye couldn't say she was surprised, rolling her eyes while smiling as she covered her nose and walked up to Chase. Chase smiled to her proudly as she did. "I gotta start opening the window before you do that." Skye kissed Chase's cheek affectionately, showing that even after two and a half years of dating, she could still look past his most frequent quirk.

Rocky was walking on the path to the Lookout with the Bulldog, who's stomach growled again in response to his hunger. The sight of how hungry he was made Rocky worry about him even more. He decided to strike conversation, hoping the Bulldog would be willing to talk. "Oh, I'm sorry. I just realized we never formally introduced ourselves." The Bulldog looked at Rocky, who was more than happy to be the first to introduce himself. "My name's Rocky. What's yours?"

The Bulldog was hesitant to reveal his name at first, but saw that Rocky was waiting patiently. However, he saw his smile, which showed him that he was trying to get to know him a little better. Since he saw that Rocky was serious, he decided to go ahead and reveal his name to him. "Rubble."

"Rubble, huh? That's a cool name." Rocky responded, seeing an opportunity to show off a fact he knows to a young kid. "Did you know that rough fragments of buildings made of stuff like stone and concrete are referred to as rubble?"

That was something that Rubble made clear was new to him. "Heh. So that's where my name comes from." Rubble then let Rocky know that he wasn't in the mood for a trivia round. "Not to sound rude Rocky, but I'm too hungry to care about learning right now."

"Right. Sorry." Rocky said with a chuckle, assuring Rubble that he'd love Flare's food. "Well like I said. You're gonna love Flare's cooking." Rubble licked his lips excitedly, and Rocky then started thinking about what he must've went through. He hoped that maybe, just maybe, he would be able to find a home for him to stay in. He already saw Zuma struggle with this kind of thing when they first met. He wanted to make sure Rubble's journey had a happy ending too.

To be continued.

Rock music played as Flare started speaking in regards to what was going to happen with specific moments from the next chapter being shown. "Rubble's definitely younger than us! And he's been wondering the world by himself!? Now I'm kind of surprised Zuma wasn't the one to find him. Oh well. At least I can help him fill up his big belly. Wow. First Rocky brings home a stray Bulldog, and now another friend from Zuma's past comes back? Gee, what are the odds? Then again, this IS the Paw Patrol.

Flare finished the announcement with the words Paw Patrol in all blue with red outlines surrounded with a white border with Flare on the right, and Marshall on the left. "Next time, Same Friends, New Obstacles Part Two!
