All the survivors stupidly pile into one van. The fear of the redheaded Demon getting to them was high, especially with how she taunted both Clear and Kat.

The rest were still reeling from Nora's gruesome death and discovering that someone like Thana was real. That Death was an actual entity with a list of people's deaths.

It seemed improbable to think that your death was already predestined. Not only that, but if you somehow skip your end, Thana herds you back to the big white light in the goriest way possible.

Death wasn't supposed to be scary but the way Thana reaped had them all shivering and wishing for peace. Clear was doing the same, except she prayed to a certain Angel.

"I still can't believe it," Burke muttered from his seat, slowly blinking. The shock was beginning to wear off for them all. "How-? What or who was that Clear?".

The blonde swallowed hard; she had been waiting for one of them to start questioning her. "That was Thana, she's a Demon, but more importantly, she's Death."

Each person in the van visibly recoiled; they had met Death. Like the actual Death, except it was in the form of a redhead girl, not a robe-wearing, scythe-wielding skeleton.

"Death?" Rory repeated with a laugh, but it sounded more like a high giggle "who knew Death was a chick, a hot chick" he mumbled as an afterthought.

Clear winced, Alex had thought the same. He underestimated Thana because of how she looked. The redhead was able to fly under the radar with humans because, to them, she looked like a pretty teenage girl.

"It's weird, though; she's never shown herself to everyone before," The blonde muttered to herself as she glanced down at her hands. Thana had only shown herself to the person who was next to die.

What was her game?

"What do you mean" Kat nervously asked, chain-smoking from the driver's seat as she eyed Clear in the rearview mirror.

"When Thana was hunting my friends and me last time, she would only show herself to the people she was killing next. It was like a mind fuck tactic" The survivors all eyed the blonde with pity.

They had already heard her story and told their own, realizing they should all have been dead a year ago. That's why the redhead was gunning for them.

Clear had explained that Thana hates anything that doesn't go her way, so she wouldn't kill them any other way than she's already planned.

But what if this time was different, she had already shown herself to the group. That was like Thana's ace. Did that mean she was getting bored, or worse, did she have a plan for them already?

"Alex was the only one that Thana would show up for. She loved toying with him like a game of cat and mouse. This is just one big game to her-" seeing their faces, she quickly changed her words.

"-but if we stick together and look out for the signs, I'm sure this time will be different. We know what we're looking for this time, and we more to beat Thana with".

Playing with Clear would never get old, but I was under a time constraint here. Belphagor was getting itchy to play with Castiel, and my father grew angrier whenever someone else survived.

I won't have a group of humans show me up in front of my family.

So, unfortunately, Clear has to die, as much as I was having fun killing the people around her over and over.

Isabella was in labor and racing to the delivery room, and the group of 'survivors' were also making a dash to the hospital. Looks like my fake premonitions were helpful after all.

See, Castiel had the bright idea to give power to the humans, and now they have foresight and empathy, but I could change that. Giving Kimberly visions that weren't exactly true and then reaping the rewards.

Having Bludsworth tell them to follow the clues was another way to confuse Clear. She thought she knew me and my games? Death wasn't a game to me; I took my job seriously, but a few mind games to those who deserve it wasn't too bad, right?

Standing by the roadside, picking at my nails, I had to wait for the perfect time. Everything was planned. It needed to be perfect. I had all of them right where I needed them, and they didn't even know it.

Hear two engines roaring at high speed. I smirked to myself. "Show time," I giggled with a spring in my step.

The SUV came speeding down the road, the driver's eyes widened when she saw my waving to her, and her mouth opened in a scream. Clicking my fingers, the wheel of the back tire blew, sending the truck all over the road, narrowly missing Isabella and Deputy Adams.

Both vans skidded wildly; putting my hand up, I slowed down the van with the pregnant lady in it as the other car crashed into the nearby farm smashing through the face and into a tower of PVC pipes "see, that's how it's done."

Glancing between the two cars, I smiled, knowing it had been a job well done. Dropping my expression, I put on a face of terror before rapidly knocking on the van window.

Deputy Adams rolled down his window, looking white. "Are you okay, sir?" I gasped in 'shock' before gazing at Isabella. "Oh no, ma'am, are you in labor?".

The Spanish woman just gave me a grimacing smile as she breathed heavily. Turning my eyes back the Adams, I stepped back from the van. "You get her to the hospital, sir. I'll go help the others."

"See, she can help them. Let's go," Isabella all but screamed at the officer, who jumped anxiously.

Waving at the two of them as they sped off, I turned with a smirk. "Everything is going to plan," I sang to myself as I skipped towards the wreckage.

Hearing a gasping noise, I leaned down to the window behind the passenger's side. "Hey, Clear," the blonde jumped as Kat let out a scream hearing my voice, "need a hand?".

"Thana, go away," Clear growled as I pouted. None of them were dying, well, except for Eugene, but he'll be fine until it's his turn, and right now, it was Kat's turn.

"Rude," I clicked my tongue, moving to the front window, "I'm only trying to help" my eyes lower as sadness seeps into my voice, and I know everyone except Clear could be fooled by it.

Teleporting to the other side of the car, I grinned at Kat, who quickly looked away. Aww, she knows it was her turn. I could hear her heart thumping; it was like a little mouse's heartbeat.

Sliding open Kimberly's door, I opened my mouth before voices rang out. My eyes turned white, and I heard Kimberly gasp. Stepping away from the car, I let the civilians tend to my 'survivors.'

"Where did she go?" I heard Rory asks when I disappeared from sight; something was tugging at me. Like before, when things were starting to go wrong.

I had a foreboding feeling, and with a small gasp of my own, I realized what the light, airy sensation was. "Castiel," I growled, my eyes darting around in the chaos.

He could be anywhere or anyone.

My brother had the incredible power of using another person with Angelic possession effortlessly and gently, which was much less painful than a Demon could do.

"Hey!" I turned back to see Kat shouting to the young farmhand, "Come on. Help me out. You got to get me out of here before this thing explodes or something, okay?" She pleaded as the young boy looked under the car.

Pushing the fact that Castiel could be here right now out of my mind. I got back to what I was supposed to be doing.

Eugene was being wheeled into an ambulance. "If he doesn't get a respirator, he's not going to make it," I heard the medic say before pushing Clear away from the ambulance.

"He'll be fine," I giggled into Clear's ear as she flinched. "You of all people should know that. After all, it's not his turn" The blonde's eyes follow mine back to where Kat was crying in the truck.

"You can try and stop us all you want, Thana, but it's almost over" The empath hisses at me with a face of pure fury.

I smiled at her; I was born into literal hellfire; there wasn't much that could frighten me. "Oh, Clear, you know just as well as I do that there's no escaping me."

Clear just grits her teeth before running back over to Kat as the dark-haired woman watches me warily. Giving her a finger wave, I disappear from sight once again.

It was scarier knowing that someone could be watching you but not being able to see them.

"Watch it!" I heard the drug addict shout; turning, I saw him tackling the farm boy to the ground as a new van almost hit him. "You trying to get yourself killed, little boy? You got to use your head, man".

Blinking slowly, I let out a sigh wondering why things could never be as simple as they used to when killing people was in an orderly fashion, and no one ever stepped out of line.

I had followers everywhere. Broken down, people, gothic kids, and even sick people prayed to me. Yet, here I was trailing after a group of people to kill, and now they're saving others' death too.

Waving my hand in front of the boy's face, I tried to keep my anger down, knowing that my plan wasn't ruined yet. This was just a speed bump.

"Brian Gibbons," I read my palm as I added him to the bottom of my list. "This is not your lucky day, kid."
