Aaron doesn't stop till he's out the front door and leans on a table, he was so angry, his hand was clenching tighter which was making his nails dig into his skin and there it was that relief as he felt the pain. He knew deep down it wasn't healthy but it felt so good, plus this way he didn't have to beat someone up to let his pent up anger out.
"Oi, no don't do that because of me." Mack's voice makes Aaron look over.
"Ugh, Mack no offense but I can't deal with you right now." Aaron states, pushing off from the table and about to walk off.
"No, just listen and once I'm done you can go, just promise me you won't do that again." Mack nods towards the bleeding cut.
"Five minutes." Aaron says as he takes a seat at the table.
"Ok, yes I got so drunk I barely remember sleeping with Chloe, but me and Charity were over that's why I was wasted, she didn't want to have anymore kids and told me I couldn't be in a relationship with her if I wanted kids, I explained I wanted them, she threw me out and told me it was over, I come back from the hotel see her and Vanessa kissing, kinda sealed the whole over for us." Mackenzie explains, Aaron wishes he had listened sooner.
"Shit, Mack I had no idea." Aaron says.
"Well you wouldn't as you were too busy shouting and not letting me speak." Mack says.
"Look, you didn't deserve that, and maybe it was a good thing you split, something like that can affect a relationship in the long term." Aaron says, making sure he didn't mention Robert.
"I know, but still it hurts, and I know most people see me as this con artist trouble maker and keep their distance from me, but is it too hard to think I just want to be held and loved sometimes." Mack explains and Aaron feels a pang in his chest and reaches his hand out and places it on Mackenzie's hand.
"Mack, you aren't alone, you will find the right person, just be yourself, not what you think someone will want." Aaron says.
"Am I interrupting?" Mandy asks, Aaron moves his hand off Mack's.
"No, if you're asking about Vinny, I've not seen him, and when I do he avoids me." Aaron explains.
"Yeh, thanks, could I get five, means move." Mandy snarks at Mack and Aaron laughs.
"Go check on Isaac." Aaron says and Mack gets up and goes.
"What's he sniffing around you for? He's already had Charity." Mandy says
"He isn't sniffing around, we're just friends, he's had a hard time so have I and now this with Cain, it's just hard to keep focused." Aaron explains.
"Well you can do better." Mandy says. "Have you spoken to your mum? She was asking if I had seen you?" She asks.
"And you haven't seen me, she can do one for all I care." Aaron says and gets up. "Also, Mack is a good guy, very flirty but he ain't interested in me so don't worry." He adds before walking off.
As he walks back into the hop he looks for Mack who is sitting at a table talking to Matty. He walks up and places his hand on Mack's shoulder and sees the smile.
"See." Isaac says and Matty starts to laugh.
"What?" They both ask.
"Nothing, look mum wants you to take him to the pub, family meeting." Matty says.
"Ok, Mack you take him, i'm not going." Aaron says, wondering why Mandy hadn't said something.
"Oh no, I was told by Paddy you have to go, as your mum is worried about you." Matty says.
"I am so fed up with her." Aaron says and charges off.
He starts walking down the road towards the town, he was fed up with his mum, he had warned her what would happen. They needed to talk but he knew it wouldn't go anywhere she would just make it about her.
"Aaron, wait up." Mack shouts, he turns to see Mack running with Isaac on his back.
"Sorry, it's just my.."
"Your mum, I guessed, and I feel like you are going to do something stupid." Mack says.
"Not stupid, something that should have been done ages ago." Aaron says and continues to walk.
"Aaron, just think about it. You could do something that you can't come back from." Mack says.
"I know, but actions have consequences and now families have been torn apart because of them." Aaron explains, he knew all about them.
As they finally make it to the village they stop outside the pub, seeing Sam and Lidia walking in just before them and they walk in also.
"Mom." Isaac shouts as they walk in, running up to her.
"You made it, you two sorted?" Moira asks.
"They spoke, but still moody." Isaac chuckles.
"I thought Matty told you two to sort out whatever is the problem between you both." Moira rolls her eyes at them.
"What's this about you two? Keep away from him Aaron." Chas says.
"And why should I listen to anything that comes out of that mouth." Aaron snarks before walking off.
As he walks to find a seat he sees pretty much all the dingles are there, he takes a seat in a booth where Belle was sat and Mack plonks himself next to him and bumps his shoulder.
"Hey, I for one think you make a good couple." Belle smiles at him.
"Oh we're not, I'm just here to keep his grumpy face from ruining anything." Mack jokes.
"And you're not family so you know." Charity states standing at the booth.
"Think you will find he is, Moira is his sister so she will want him here, plus why is Vanessa here then she will go and jog on." Aaron snarks.
"You little toe rag, word of advice he's not worth it." Charity states and walks off.
"Don't listen to her, everyone is stressed." Belle says Aaron runs his leg against Mack's hoping it helps.
"He killed a man, Moira, so he has it coming." Aaron hears Chas say.
"He's family and it was Al, so he had it coming." Paddy replies.
"That's not the point, it doesn't matter who it was, he still killed someone." Chas replies and Aaron couldn't help but laugh out loud making everyone look at him.
"Aaron, don't." Mack whispers and he can see Belle looking at him.
"What's funny about that?" Sam asks.
"Her, when you want him to take care of problems it's fine, but what he killed Al and now it's not ok, what reason would he have to do it, I mean their feud was over, makes no sense." Aaron starts, he can feel Mack's hand on his arm.
"I don't know, but he didn't have to do it, it was our mothers and Liv's funeral." Chas replies and that was it, he stands up.
"You are full of it, you know full well why and I'm fed up with your lies, Paddy I'm sorry, the reason Cain killed Al is…"
"Aaron don't." Chas states glaring at him.
"She was sleeping with Al, been going on for months from what I gathered, my sister is dead because of you, you went and saw Al that day that's why he happened to take you to the hospital, if you hadn't of seen him Liv would be here still, and then she tried to persuade me to go once I called her out on it, telling me it be better for my health to leave this place. Hope you're happy you have ruined everything, and as far as i'm concerned you're as dead to me as Gordon is." Aaron snarks and walks past Mack who takes hold of him obviously scared of what he may do.
"You're lying." Chas remarks back.
"Oh Chas, just own up, it's true." Belle says and Aaron glares at her.
"What? You knew and didn't do anything?" Sam asks.
"I found them at a hotel I was working at, she said and promised she would end it, I'm sorry Paddy." Belle says.
The next thing Aaron knows is Moira is going for his mum and Charity gets in the way and gets elbowed in the face which he hears Mack laugh at, he decides to leave and let the family deal with it making sure to give his mum a smirk as he walks out.
Stepping into the fresh air it felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders, the sound of shouting filled the quiet village and was attracting the gossips as well as others.
"What's going on in there?" Brenda asks.
"Oh, just Dingle drama, nothing new." Aaron says, shrugging his arms.
"Let's go in, Eric, get a drink." Brenda says.
"I wouldn't, last thing I saw was Charity getting elbowed in the face, but be my guest if you do want to go in." Aaron chuckles.
"What could cause that, I know they had beef but sorted it." Amy asks.
"Well you're only going to find out sooner or later, my mum she was sleeping with Al had been for months." Aaron states.
"Why would you say something like that?" Chloe asks.
"Because it's the truth, I'd say go ask her yourself but.." Aaron signals to the door and the shouting gets louder.
"Right I'm going in, Chloe stays here with Kerry." Amy says.
"No, I want to know too." Chloe says.
"You're pregnant, can't risk the baby staying here with me." Kerry states.
"Kerry!" Chloe says looking around at people.
Aaron laughs, this day just gets better and better. He goes to say something but the sound of people coming to the door he decides to just walk home.
"WE'RE NOT DONE CHAS." Moira shouts as she walks out followed by Mackenzie and Isaac. Aaron keeps walking down the road towards the mill.
"Aaron, wait there." Mackenzie shouts.
He doesn't answer, just sticks his hand up in the air waves and continues to walk, the sound of shouting getting fainter as he gets closer to home.
Once back in the house he listened to see if Vinny was about as he wasn't at the pub, after checking he was alone, he started to break down sliding down the door, he had just blown apart his family.
