Welcome back to the Xenoblade Heart to Heart series! Now that Spyro and Cynder have had their moment, it's about time we get the rest of the cast involved. We're going to start with Shulk though, since he's the main protagonist. So let's not waste another moment! Here we go!
Heart to Heart 2: Is There A Connection?

Introduction
Shulk: Hey, thanks for the assistance in taking out those Mechon drones.
Spyro: Not a problem.
Shulk: But there's still a question we really need to answer. Where did you come from?

Spyro: How do I say this without overcomplicating it? Let's just say we've come from a world away, unintentionally.
Shulk: I'm still not sure I understand.
Spyro: There's worlds beyond the bounds of wherever we are apparently, and we're from one of them. What brought us here is a mystery.
Shulk: Say, do you think this magic could be connected to the Monado?
Spyro: The what?
Shulk: The Monado. It's an artifact my parents were looking for when they were killed. I've dedicated my life to understanding it and it's ability to manipulate Ether.
Spyro: Wait, did he just say what I think he said? Did you just say Aether?
Shulk: (Slightly confused) Was that a trick question?
Spyro: It sounds like this may be something we should investigate.
Shulk: We'd best get working on it then.

Spyro: We've got no time to mince words. Better just tell him outright. We apparently travelled to this location through unknown means from somewhere... beyond this realm.
Shulk: Let me get this straight, you're from another world and have no idea how you got here?
Spyro: Pretty much.
Shulk: Sounds pretty complicated, if I'm being honest. About as complicated as the Monado.
Spyro: The what?
Shulk: The Monado, this ancient artifact I've been trying to understand for years. Hey, do you think they might be connected?
Spyro: I'm unsure about this, but that could be something. I'm not too sure, but I'd say it's worth investigating.
Shulk: Great! Let's get to it then!
Spyro: Well this kid seems... enthusiastic.

And that's our first Heart to Heart of in game characters. I hope I honestly captured Shulk pretty well here. I'm relying a lot on Drago the Firesword Dragon's data on all this that he sent over for what we've got on these characters. So how is Cynder going to react with Shulk? Tune in next time to find out!
