Welcome back to the Xenoblade Heart to Hearts series! Today we bring in the next hero on our roster. Or should I say our first heropon? That's right, it's Riki! From what I've seen of him, this'll be tricky, but I look forward to the challenge! So what's Spyro got to say? Read on to discover...
Heart to Heart 10: Zeropon to Heropon.

Riki: Can Riki tell Spyro something?
Spyro: What's up, Riki?
Riki: Riki... feel out of place...
Spyro: Out of place how?
Riki: On this quest. Among Hom Hom. Doing all this.

Spyro: What's got into you, Riki? You're usually the most optimistic of us.
Riki: Riki not understand this war. When Mechon first attack, Riki and friends in village pon ponning like any other day.
Spyro: Almost like you never thought the war could get to you? That you were safely out of it's way?
Riki: Spyro knows the feeling?
Spyro: I guess you could say I do. Depending on what feeling we're talking about.
Riki: Riki feel unworthy of Heropon title. Spyro and friends all better than Riki.
Spyro: What? Riki, you are totally worthy of your title.
Riki: Spyro think so?
Spyro: Think about it this way if it helps. Even though I know you're scared of the Mechon and the force controlling them, you still left the relative safety of your village and chose to defend the innocent in a war you know nothing about. That puts you in a league of bravery above even Shulk in my mind.
Riki: Riki braver than Shulk?
Spyro: Shulk at least kind of knew what he was getting into, having researched the Monado enough to feel confident using it. You though? You just rushed head in because it was the right thing to do. That's true bravery right there.
Riki: Thanks Spyro. Riki feel better than ever!
Spyro: Glad to see I could help, Riki.

Riki: Nonsense?
Spyro: You're no zero, pon or otherwise. Sure, you may have a ways to go to be a quote on quote "real" Heropon, but you've already started on that path.
Riki: Spyro really think so?
Spyro: I know so. It's going to take time though, but you're not the type to quit while you're at it, are you?
Riki: Riki certainly is not!
Spyro: That's good.

Spyro: It is a bit of a weird story in retrospect.
Riki: That make Spyro a Heropon too?
Spyro: I... guess so? I don't know for sure. But I can tell one thing is very similar between us. We're both in this fight for the long haul.
Riki: Why Riki and Spyro in this for the long haul?
Spyro: Because it's the right thing to do.
Riki: Thanks Spyro. Riki feels enthused again!
Spyro: Just doing what I do.

Spyro: I'm just a guy doing what's right, that's all. And from what I've seen, so are you Riki. You needn't get yourself down. You belong in this fight just as much as the rest of us.
Riki: Riki feels invigorated! Thanks, Spyro.
