Introduction

Fiora: Cynder? Are you okay?

Cynder: Yeah. Why?

Fiora: You just seem... rather focused off in the mist. Is everything okay?

Cynder: Yeah, just trying to... see if there's something... more out there.

Fiora: Something more?

Cynder: It's a really long story.

Fiora: You can tell me anything, Cynder.

Cynder: Well, I guess I'm just having a crisis of faith.

Fiora: A crisis of faith?

Cynder: It's a long story. And kind of hard to explain if you don't know dragon culture.

Fiora: I know what Spyro's told me about your Ancestors, if that helps.

Cynder: That... helps quite a bit, since it gets to the heart of the issue.

Fiora: That being?

Cynder: The commonly held belief is that our Ancestors are always watching over us. But to be honest, I'm not sure about that anymore.

Fiora: Really?

Cynder: Given the hell I went through on my past, I just feel like something... left me behind, I guess.

Fiora: No offense, but even I know that's not true.

Cynder: Are you sure?

Fiora: If your Ancestors had abandoned you, Spyro wouldn't have come to save you. Something was looking out for you in that moment

Cynder: (Thinking about it) Huh... I guess you're right. I honestly never thought about it that way. Thanks Fiora

Fiora: Vaguely, yeah.

Cynder: Those Ancestors are supposedly watching over us all.

Fiora: Why supposedly?

Cynder: I don't know... I'm just not sure about it anymore...

Fiora: I don't know a lot about your world's faith, but I think they're still watching over you.

Cynder: Thanks for trying to cheer me up, Fiora.

Fiora: No problem...

Fiora: I honestly don't know what you mean.

Cynder: You ever look into the distance and wonder if something's watching over you from it? If there's more to this world than what we see?

Fiora: Sometimes? I think?

Cynder: It's confusing, I get it.

Fiora: Not that confusing. I do get that feeling sometimes. Like my parents are watching from the beyond.

Cynder: Then why can't I feel anything like that?

Fiora: To be honest, I don't know about that.But I know someone's looking out for you. There has to be someone, even if you don't know who they are.

Cynder: Thanks, Fiora. I needed that.

Cynder: (Now slightly enthused by that) Thanks Fiora. I really needed to hear that.

Fiora: (Slightly confused but glad she could help) Not a problem.
