Welcome back to the Xenoblade Heart to Hearts series! Having left Colony 6 behind, we enter our next location, and it's one the co-authors have conflict on. Drago says there's no Heart to Hearts here that he's found, but my research on the Wiki has turned up two. It's Ether Mine! Since there's only two Heart to Hearts here, this should be pretty quick. As usual, Spyro and Cynder are up first, so let's do this!

Heart To Heart 39: Who I Am Inside

Spyro: This place is strangely beautiful.

Cynder: (Looking into the water) Yeah...

Spyro: Cynder? Are you feeling alright? You don't usually spend a ton of time staring at your reflection.

Cynder: Just... contemplating things.

Spyro: Should I be worried?

Cynder: Not like that. Just trying to figure something out.

Spyro: Figure what out?

Cynder: (Noting her reflection) Who is this dragoness I see, staring straight back at me.

Spyro: Its you.

Cynder: I know who it is in a literal sense, but I still dont know who it is.

Spyro: I don't get it. You don't know who you are?

Cynder: In a manner of speaking. Am I the Terror of the Skies? Am I the hero you fought alongside? I've been defined by others for so long, I never had time to figure out who I am.

Spyro: Well, whatever you settle on, I'll be there for you.

Cynder: (Looking to Spyro) After that, I think I'm getting closer. Thanks, Spyro.

Spyro: Anything to help, my love.

Cynder: What was that?

Spyro: (Realizing she heard him) Nothing!

Spyro: Are you saying you don't know how reflections work?

Cynder: Sounds like a joke Sparks would make. No, not that. I just... don't know who I am.

Spyro: No offense, but that's an easy question to answer.

Cynder: Really?

Spyro: You're the bravest dragoness I've ever met. As well as the kindest, strongest, and most beautiful.

Cynder: (Tearing up) Thanks, Spyro. (Remembering the list) Wait, what was that last one?

Spyro: Nothing!

Cynder: Just... me... really.

Spyro: I'm still confused.

Cynder: Wow you are dense sometimes. I'm still trying to figure out who I am, really.

Spyro: Its simple. You're Cynder, the bravest and kindest dragoness I've ever met.

Cynder: You mean that?

Spyro: Every last word.

Cynder: (Tearing up) That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me. Thanks Spyro.

Cynder: Identity wise that's true. But on a deeper level, its not enough.

Spyro: Does it need to be not enough?

Cynder: I don't know whether to be confused or offended by that. I'm not sure. I'll think on it.

Spyro: Sounds good to me.
