So I'm gonna write a couple more chapters, just to have Naruto gain a few things in his journey, as well as training.

Chapter 2

The Haunted House

Introduction

"Long ago, in an distant land, I, Aku, The Shape-shifting Master Of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil, but a foolish Samurai Warrior, wielding a magic sword, stepped forth to oppose me!"

"Before the final blow was struct, I threw open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is LAW, now the fool seeks to return to the past and undo the future that is AKU!"

While the Samurai falls through the portal, something else hits into him, allowing both to fall out the other end of the portal.

"But, due to some unforeseen circumstance, or perhaps, dumb luck, someone else was caught in the portal, who happens to be a ninja from another dimension."

Forest

Right now it was a cold night for the student and teacher, though right now Naruto was pouting, why you may ask, well because Jack made him work with a wooden sword during their travels, causing the blond to pout in the first place, but because of Jack's training regiment Naruto had learnt that he shouldn't complain about such things, since Jack will knock the whining out of him with his skills.

Even though Naruto's chakra has slowly started to return, along with the Tailed Beasts Chakra inside him, it was at a slow pace, more than likely due to Aku's influence over nature, since he once tried to enter Sage-Mode to hurry the process, but that caused him untold amount of pain and throw up some black ooze, so the two decide it was better for Naruto's health that he doesn't try Sage-Mode.

Anyway, here they were, walking down a path under the moonlight, the wind blowing and causing a chill, though more so for Jack, seeing as he's wearing a kimono, while Naruto was wearing army boots, black jeans, a black muscle shirt and a leather jacket, though Naruto had his wooden sword tucked into his jeans belt.

Unfortunately for the two, it was quite creepy in the dark, until Jack spots someone in the dark, catching Naruto's attention, where the two moved towards the person, with Jack wanting some information, unfortunately this spooked the person, causing them to quickly run away, but also dropping their teddy bear in their rush.

With Jack picking it up and looking over it, Naruto has a concerned look, "It would seem we may need to find out what that was all about." Since the person was crying and neither of them liked the idea of someone upset and hurting over something.

So the two chased after the person, wanting to find out what was wrong and if they could help in someway, that is until they came up to a large Japanese-style mansion, this image shocked the two, wondering what has happened to the place that would make the person cry in the woods.

They start making their way up to the mansion, yet as they drew closer towards the mansion they could help but feel a strange ominous feeling from the mansion, with the feeling getting stronger the closer they get, making them nervous but hold strong against such a feeling.

Though as they managed to make it to the front door, the door was locked, but suddenly a moth caught their attention, flowing the insect, they came up to a pair of sliding doors, they soon spot a person kneeling and leaning over a pot with a fire-like glow to it, as Naruto and Jack were about to open the patio doors a sudden batch of moths flew out of the gap of the doors, this took the pair by surprise, but soon turned their attention back to the entrance, opening the door they soon noticed that the person was gone, along with the possible fire.

This environment was very slowly starting to get to Naruto, his old fears of ghosts starting to raise it's head slightly, but with Jack being with him, Naruto feels he could hopefully overcome his old fears.

They soon began making their way into the house, the floorboards creaking because of their age, though Naruto had accidentally kicked an incense burner pot over towards the statue, suddenly his mind was assaulted with a black and white sketch vision of someone lighting incense in the pot, but it quickly went away, giving Naruto a slight headache, "Are you alright my friend?" Jack asked with some concern, placing his hand on Naruto's shoulder.

Naruto gives his head a slight shake, "Y-Yeah, just a slight headache, not sure where it came from though." Naruto replied, giving his head a slight rub, both for the ache and puzzlement that he got from the vision.

Soon afterwards, Jack looked behind the statue, noticing a candle that was cut in half, when he saw it it caused Jack to have a vision himself, though this one was of a woman screaming with the candle dropping, when the vision cleared it caused Jack to gain a slight headache too, where both he Naruto look to each other.

"Something tells me we're gonna be getting more of these visions as we go deeper into this thing." Naruto exclaims seriously, with some concerned, with Jack nodding in agreement.

Jack soon put the leftover candle into the candle holder, giving the pair a minimal amount of light for them, with that they looked around for a bit, that is until the candle blew out, with the smoke drifting towards and through some doors, Jack soon lit the candle again, and opened the doors, only to spot a trap door, they soon spotted a sort of hobby crafting table, with paints, wooden toys and tools for carving.

Naruto was the one to notice a little model of a boat on the floor, bending down Naruto picked it up, only for a vision to hit him again, only this time it was a boy painting the boat that was in his hand, where the trap door burst open, with whatever was inside heading straight for the boy who looked inside it, only for him to drop the model in slight terror with sweat trickling down Naruto's face, with the headache causing a touch more pain then he expected, making him grunt while rubbing his head.

Jack pattered Naruto on the back in comfort, "It would seem this place is trying to tell us something." Jack couldn't help but speak out loud about it.

Naruto on the other hand, "Yeah, if this keeps up with the headaches I'll knock this place down long before we get our answers." He spoke, showing how frustrated he was getting with the visions and headaches, with Jack agreeing somewhat to Naruto's plight.

Where Naruto then explains his vision to jack, causing both to eye the trapdoor wearily due to the vision, they both decide to keep away from the trapdoor for now, since they have more of the mansion to look through.

But as they were passing some stairs to the second floor, Jack noticed the person from the woods at the top of them, with Naruto following behind the Samurai, but unfortunately they ended up loosing sight of the person in a large room, with Jack stating that they didn't mean any harm, while also explaining that they'll leave the doll on the mantelpiece, only for Jack to have a vision of a man riding on horseback and being attacked by something, he soon came to, getting frustrated by these visions, stating that he and Naruto were now leaving, wishing to wash their hands of the whole thing.

Only for them to hear footsteps and as they turn around they quickly notice the bear was gone, where Naruto was quick to notice a shadow moving in his peripheral, he simply jumped to the chair and as quick as a flash grabbed the person, who turns out to be a little girl shocking the two others in the room.

"Did I scare you?" The little girl simply asked, knocking the two out of their shocked states.

They soon answered that they weren't, though Naruto was getting a little bit more nervous, with Jack asking if the girl lived in the house or something, but unfortunately this caused the girl to start crying.

Though both were concerned they figured it would be best to leave for now, just to get some air to clear their heads, but there was a problem, "WHAT!? T-T-THE DOORS!? WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM!?" Naruto and Jack exclaimed, seeing as the doors that they entered through were now a brick wall.

Soon the 3 were running back up to the second floor, but soon noticed that the windows were gone too, with Jack running up to them and began patting them, feeling as the the house was playing tricks on him, until the girl started to cry again, seeing this caused Jack to calm down some, trying not to cause the girl to be fearful, soon the girl spoke of being tired and cold, with both Naruto and Jack agreeing, hoping that after some rest they can escape the house.

Later

As Naruto and Jack were resting, their minds were assaulted once more by visions, only instead of people a strange black dragon-like creature was before them, causing them to jump awake, though being thankful that the vision hadn't caused them as bad a headache as before, though they soon noticed that the little girl was missing, have a quick look around they both soon noticed a doorway with a light coming through it.

Making their way towards the doorway they both looked inside, noticing how the room inside looked far cleaner than the rest of the house, but they also noticed the people from their visions were sitting around the table in the room, along with the little girl who doesn't seem to be nervous anymore.

The man of the group soon noticed Naruto and Jack, "Oh! Excuse us, please, won't you join us?" He asked in a kind manner, though Jack and Naruto weren't too trusting to the offer, with both feeling that something was wrong with this picturesque image of the family, but the man calmly insisted that they have tea with them.

Soon the two were drinking the tea, until him and Naruto began asking questions about the house, though suddenly the family's son began to act strange, with him shaking and his eyes rolling up into his head, soon the mother began doing the same thing, along with the father soon joining them, the only one that wasn't was the little girl, who quietly apologies to the two.

The master and student quickly jumped away from the table, seeing the room becoming the same state as the rest of the house, "Damn it, I hate Genjutsu!" Naruto stated, narrowing his eyes, along with Jack, "Yes my student, I too am not a fan of illusions either." Since he did have training in some fields of the arts, while using Naruto's title as his student in a serious matter, showing that the things were about to get rough for them.

The little girl quickly hid behind a pot, causing both Naruto and Jack to look back at the family, where each one soon expelled a strange energy from their mouths, where they soon vanished into black flames, with said flames joining together forming a draconic demon made from the flames with glowing white eyes.

Seeing such a sight, Naruto couldn't help but exclaim, "You know something sensei, I don't think a wooden training sword is gonna cut it with this thing." With his eyes widen at such a sight, though Jack can't help but silently agree with his student.

Soon Naruto and Jack were assaulted with more visions while staring in the black flamed demon's eyes, seeing how it came from the sky and took the father, with the mother being next, along with their son, with the vision soon ending.

Thus after witnessing such visions, Naruto and Jack moved away from the flames that were cornering them, since they feel like if they touch any of them they too will vanish, the demon began through things at the pair, causing them to dodge and jump out of the way, "T-This is why I have a fear of ghosts sensei, you can't hurt them but they can hurt you!" Naruto exclaims while dodging some weapons.

Jack jumps over another vase heading for him, "Y-Yes my student, I must admit I can agree to having such a fear and respect you for having it." Since even he understood having such a thing towards such a monster.

Unfortunately, Jack got hit by the table, thus catching Naruto's attention, causing Naruto to get hit by something as well, where as the two were laying on the floor injured, black roots quickly shot out of the floor, trapping and wrapping around the two, holding them in place, the demon soon hovered over the two, but it's interest seemed to be drawn towards Naruto.

The demon soon rushed towards Naruto roaring towards him, "Gah! N-NARUTO!" Jack struggled to yell, but it was too late, Naruto's spirit was absorbed by the demon.

Demon's Realm

Everything was white, with Naruto looking as though he was caught in some sort of sphere holding him with black flames, though he soon noticed the family was also trapped, but unlike him they were unconscious, telling Naruto that they must have been trapped there for a while, everyone, himself as well, looked like black sketches of themselves, though Naruto couldn't hear what was happening, not even his voice could cut through the white roaring noise around him, though he struggles to escape.

Until he noticed the demonic dragon floating before him, looking slightly more human, where it then looks towards Naruto, with Naruto pretending to be unconscious like the others, thus allowing the demon to move on to his next prey, namely Jack.

Though as the demon moves away, Naruto came to the realization that now may be time for him to use his Chakra, seeing as he could still feel it, but right now his life, as well as the lives around him were in danger of this monster, so using his chakra, Naruto soon managed to break free of his bindings, but this also caught the demon's attention.

With that, the two fought, with Naruto trading blows, realizing that his chakra could hurt the beast, though he wanted to make a quip due to the place he was in though Naruto couldn't speak, so instead he focused on fighting the demon, forcing it into a weakened state, to the point that the demon was on it's back in agony, glaring at Naruto for his deficiency.

Seeing the look Naruto decides to do one more thing, seeing as the demon liked to use people by possessing them he'll do the next best thing.

Naruto began focusing the leftover Tailed Beast Chakra inside his body towards the demon, causing it untold amount of pain, but forcing it to compact to such a degree that in the demon's place was a sword, where Naruto quickly grabs it's handle, though the demon-turned-sword tried to fight it, Naruto's will was far too strong for the demon, subjugating it to Naruto's own will thanks to the Tailed Beasts Chakra in Naruto's body.

Suddenly everything vanished as soon as Naruto had grabbed the sword handle.

Living World

Jack was still struggling to get free, until a bright light engulfed Naruto's body, blinding him and the girl slightly, but soon releasing Jack and Naruto from the thorns, along with the house shaking and crumbling.

Suddenly Naruto's spirit returned to his body, but there was a slight difference, the girl and Jack were in shock at the sight before them, for you see in Naruto's hand was a sword, with the sword having the head of a dragon biting the blade, with the wings of the dragon acting as the guard of the sword. The hilt has a swirling pattern leading to skulls at the bottom with a spike pointing out.

Though the blade seemed to have purple lightning dancing on it, showing that the black fire from the demon became so concentrated that it turned into purple lightning, yet the lightning didn't seem to be harming Naruto in anyway.

Naruto soon began to groan awake, "Okay, that was the most strangest experience I was ever apart of." Naruto sat up rubbing his head in slight pain, almost like having a hangover in someway.

The girl was soon hugging him in joy that Naruto was alive, with Jack patting Naruto on the shoulder, "Good job my student, I am relieved that you had managed to overcome such a demon." Which was true since he didn't know if Naruto could do so or not, but he had faith that Naruto would overcome such a thing.

Naruto just smiled, "Yeah, though to point it out, that wasn't my first demon that I fought, though luckily I still had enough Tailed Beasts Chakra in my body to make that demon into this bad-boy!" Naruto exclaims in happiness, since now he has a sword he could work with, don't get him wrong, he was happy to have katana training from Jack, but it never felt right to Naruto, since it never really suited his fighting style.

Jack just smiled, "Well my student I'm glad you're in one piece and that the demon didn't take over your body, and let us be thankful that we no longer have to worry about it anymore."

Naruto smirked, "Yeah, I compacted it to such a degree and smothered it with my Tailed Beasts Chakra that I can "feel" that I've destroyed it, all that's left is it power and body, which is now my sword!" Naruto was so happy with his new weapon.

Though Jack gave an amused look, "Though now that you've gained a sword, your training will have to be doubled in intensity." Hearing this Naruto paled slightly.

Though before anything else, the rest of the family appeared before them, showing that they were now free of the demon, with the girl running up to them happy to have her family back with Naruto and Jack smiling as well, though Naruto placed his sword on his back, where somehow it stayed there without a holster.

With that Naruto and Jack soon left the family to have their moment, figuring it was best to move on and continue on their journey as well as Naruto's training, but now that Naruto has a new sword his training will have to more intense than it was before, but even though Naruto was nervous he was also looking forward to his training, where as they were walking Naruto's sword's purple lightning slightly danced on the blade, along with lightning dancing in his eyes at his excitement.

There you have it, Naruto achieves his own sword, which I figured should be the Alastor Sword from Devil May Cry 1 game, since it's hardly appeared in any of the other DMC games, also I figured since the Tailed Beasts Chakra would be in a pure state, thanks to Naruto accepting his dark-half, it'd offer some protection against other mystical weapons.

I'm gonna be doing one more chapter, but I'm not gonna be spoiling anything, though after the next one I'm gonna leave it up for adoption.

I forgot to mention that I jumbled chapter 2 with Season 3 Episode 9, since that seemed like the perfect episode for Naruto to gain his own sword, but since each episode is basically random, then it should be fine.
