Holly got dropped off in the middle of a street. She took a deep breath as she looked around. Why would the Doctor drop her off here?
Then she saw it. The TARDIS. In the middle of an alleyway, with a car parked next to it. Why would a car be there?
"You just want a mate?"
"After what happened to Holly... I just want a mate!"
"You're not mating with me, sunshine! Mate with Leila—"
"No way!" Holly hears Leila shout. "I just arrived!"
"A mate. I just want a mate."
"Did someone say mate?" says another familiar voice, making Holly drop her invisible ink pen. Someone peaks around the corner.
"Holly?" Scarlett asks, seeing her standing there with a blush on her face.
"Don't kid with me like that, Scarlett. Holly's—"
"Not dead. Right here," she says, stepping closer to the TARDIS. Donna Noble stood with Leila while Scarlett ran to the Time Lady. She crushed her with a hug. Holly was hesitant to hug her back because of all the things that happened when she dropped her off.
"I-I-I—"
Holly lets go of Scarlett's hug and goes up to the Doctor. She slaps his face.
"Oi! What was that for?"
"Kissing Astrid when I was gone!"
"I thought you were dead!" shouted the Doctor, tears forming in his eyes. Scarlett looked surprised. Holly wasn't sure if the Doctor was this emotional all the time.
"Obviously not!" Holly shouts at him. "I thought you would see the future TARDIS swooping by to catch Neil and I!"
"I'm sorry... What the hell is going on here?" Donna Noble asks, confused. Holly clears her throat.
"Neil Snow and I almost died because of a meteor attack on the ship called 'The Titanic.' Yes, you heard that right. They named a ship in space, 'The Titanic.' Horrible name if you ask me."
"Oh! I remember that episode," Scarlett said, then fiddled with her ring that was on her left pointer finger.
"What's that?" Holly pointed at the noticeable ring. Donna goes to it as well.
"That's... that's beautiful," she says which makes Scarlett blush.
"Thanks... um... it's... spoilers." She says, which makes Leila roll her eyes.
"I'm going to hear that for a while now, aren't I?" She says. "I only just got here. Look at this-this tattoo! I think it might be sharpie, anyway. I don't even remember the first time I came here. It was a blur. It was like it was wiped from my memory."
"Oh, you were in Day of the—! Sorry. I gotta stop doing that with what episode I'm in. Clearly this isn't an episode. It's real life."
"Episode?" Donna questions as Holly looks back at the Doctor who had his back turned after being so emotional. She comes up behind him and hugs him.
"It's okay, you know. I'm sorry I slapped you, but it was for the best."
"For the best? Really—?"
He's interrupted by Donna. "Alright. I'll let you two... or three of you have your reunion. I'm going to call my mother."
Leila and Scarlett share looks. If they were in the episode called "Partners In Crime" they'd know that Rose Tyler was in the Doctor's world. Donna walks away without letting them say anything else.
"I think I'll get going as well," says Leila. Holly sees she has a vortex manipulator. Scarlett jumps and realizes Holly never picked up her ink pen. She rushes back to get it but by the time she came back Leila was gone. Holly was still in the Doctor's arms.
"Future you told me to do something," Holly says, looking up at him. "Said that you were going to think about it for a long time after I did it, and I'm sure you will, so..."
"And what was that?" Scarlett asks, raising an eyebrow. She (sort of) knew what was coming but didn't expect it as Holly lifted her toes and pressed her lips against his.
