Welcome back to the Xenoblade Heart to Hearts series. Today, we continue our trek through Makna Forest, with our fine feathered friend making her second appearance in as many consecutive locations after being absent so long. That's right, Melia is on first. So let's not waste a second, here we go!
Heart to Heart 48: Those We've Lost

Spyro: Melia?
Melia: (Realizes Spyro is here) Oh, Spyro. I didn't see you there.
Spyro: What are you doing out here?
Melia: I'm just... not feeling like myself today

Spyro: May I ask what's eating you?
Melia: It's this spot, really. On this spot, my four protectors were killed by a Telethia.
Spyro: The same one we first fought together?
Melia: The very same.
Spyro: I'm sorry for your loss.
Melia: Thank you, Spyro. They were like family to me. I mourn them dearly.
Spyro: I get that feeling.
Melia: You do?
Spyro: Yeah. It wasn't that long ago I was in your shoes, and lost someone dear to me.
Melia: May I ask who?
Spyro: My mentor, Ignitus. He sacrificed himself so Cynder and I could finish our quest. I miss him so much.
Melia: You honor his legacy well.
Spyro: And you your companions.
Melia: Thank you, Spyro.

Melia: I may not have met this Ignitus, but from what little I've heard of him, he sounds like a great man.
Spyro: He was the greatest as far as I'm concerned.
Melia: May I ask you something?
Spyro: Shoot.
Melia: I wish to give my four companions a proper send off. Would you be willing to assist? We can certainly add your mentor to it.
Spyro: I'll gladly help out.

Melia: What?
Spyro: I've worked with Cynder long enough to know that when someone's in a position like this, they most likely just want to be left alone.
Melia: That would probably be the worst thing for me right now. For it's because of what happened that I am alone.
Spyro: Oh. I'm sorry, Melia. I didn't mean...
Melia: I took no offense, Spyro. I understand your logic.
Spyro: Still...
Melia: Though, the fact you were trying to help, in your own misguided way, has made me feel at least a little bit better.
Spyro: Thanks? I think?

Melia: (Sighs) I appreciate that you tried to help at least. But perhaps being left alone is what I need.
Spyro: Okay. Don't be afraid to call on me if you need to talk.

I could've done this one with Cynder as well admittedly, but I think Spyro needed the therapy over Ignitus more, since I personally think they were slightly closer.
