Heart to Heart 51: Close Calls
Participants: Cynder and Reyn
Location: King Agni's Tomb

Prerequisite: Melia Must Have Been Revived.
Introduction
Cynder: Got to admit, I was really scared we lost Melia for a moment there.
Reyn: Scared all of us to death I think.
Cynder: Just one close call too many in my life
Pass/Pass
Reyn: One close call too many?
Cynder: It's a really long story, Reyn.
Reyn: We've got time to tell it.
Cynder: Fair enough. Let's just say Spyro and I getting here was a close call, against possibly dying.
Reyn: Really?
Cynder: Yeah. Last thing I saw before we ended up here was Spyro using his abilities to try and pull the planet back together.
Reyn: He can do that?!
Cynder: Yeah, apparently.
Reyn: You weren't kidding, that was one close call.
Cynder: We've had a few here too, the Mechon invasion of Colony 9, Fiora coming back as a Face Mechon. You get the idea.
Reyn: Then let's hope we don't have any more coming forward!
Cynder: I doubt that's going to be the case, but I admire the optimism.

Reyn: One close call too many?
Cynder: It's a really long story, Reyn.
Reyn: We've got time to tell it.

Reyn: I find that hard to believe. You just appeared in a flash of light in Outlook Park!
Cynder: Once we got to this world, yes. But when we left ours, we were literally in the core of our planet, trying to pull it back together.
Reyn: That's... still a little crazy to believe.
Cynder: Nobody said you had to believe it Reyn.

Reyn: What was that?
Cynder: Reyn, you know as well that we've had a lot of close calls recently.
Reyn: Yeah, that's hard to beat. But you've had a lot of close calls, you said?
Cynder: More than I'd like to recount.
Reyn: I can understand that. I wouldn't want to recount all the close calls we've had over this quest so far.
Cynder: Reyn, we both know you'd be bragging about this adventure until your life ends.
Reyn: Got me there.
Cynder: I appreciate the commiserations though.
Reyn: Just doing what I can. What the heck are commiserations?

Reyn: What was that?
Cynder: Reyn, you know as well that we've had a lot of close calls recently.
Reyn: Yeah, that's hard to beat. But you've had a lot of close calls, you said?
Cynder: More than I'd like to recount.
Reyn: We've got time to tell them, I'd think.
Cynder: But just because we have the time doesn't mean that I'm going to.
Reyn: Come on, you can tell me anything!
Cynder: I can, but that doesn't mean I will.
Reyn: (Dejectedly) Okay. I won't pester you about it again today.
Cynder: Thank you.
Reyn: Should we discuss it some other time then?
Cynder: Maybe. Not if you keep up that attitude

And that wraps up our chats in Makna Forest. A nice and simple if slightly short chat to get back on schedule after spending my usual update cycle in the hospital.
