Welcome back to the Xenoblade Heart to Hearts series! Today we wrap up Frontier Village with another chat between Cynder and Fiora. How's this going down? Read on to discover...
Heart to Heart 58: My Days In The Sun
Participants: Cynder and Fiora
Location: Contemplation Terrace
Affinity: Pink
Prerequisite: Only occurs during the Day
Introduction
Fiora: Cynder?
Cynder: (Realizes she's not alone) Oh, hey Fiora. (Thinks about it) This must be pretty standard for us now.
Fiora: I'll say. But I'm used to you sneaking off at night, not in the middle of the day!
Pass/Pass
Cynder: I asked Riki if there was any place I could think in peace, and he pointed me up here.
Fiora: Okay, that explains why you're up here. But what's on your mind?
Cynder: Well, for once, it's not my past if that's what you're worried about.
Fiora: That's a relief. So what are you thinking about?
Cynder: Well, my future.
Fiora: What do you mean?
Cynder: Well, most of my life, I've been the Terror of the Skies. A bedtime story people told their children to scare them into behaving. I guess I just don't know how that will affect my new days in the sun.
Fiora: You're worried people will still see you as the same thing?
Cynder: I guess.
Fiora: You helped Spyro save your world, fought against your enslaver to free the people from his grasp. If they still see you as what he made you into, they're crazy. Chances are, you'll finally get the peace you deserve. No longer a creature of night, enjoy these days in the sun.
Cynder: (Brushing away a tear) That was honestly beautiful.
Fiora: I have my moments.

Cynder: Well, my future.
Fiora: What do you mean?
Cynder: To be honest, I'm not sure entirely.
Fiora: That's really going to make working through anything hard if you can't identify it.
Cynder: That's why I've been up here, trying to figure out exactly what's on my mind.
Fiora: Mind if I help you? Two minds tend to be better than one.
Cynder: To be honest, I could use the help. Thanks, Fiora.

Fail/Pass
Cynder: This place is called Contemplation Terrace, so I'm contemplating.
Fiora: Ignoring the snark in that for a second, may I ask what you're contemplating exactly?
Cynder: I'm not honestly sure, but I guess it's what's next.
Fiora: After we leave the Village?
Cynder: After Spyro and I get home, I mean.
Fiora: Oh.
Cynder: There's just so much I don't know. Will society hate me for what I've done, or celebrate me for defeating Malefor?
Fiora: If I can be honest here, I don't think you've got to worry about it.
Cynder: Come again?
Fiora: It doesn't really matter what the others think. What matters is what you think.
Cynder: That was surprisingly wise, Fiora.
Fiora: I kind of stole that one from Dunban.

Fail/Fail
Cynder: This place is called Contemplation Terrace, so I'm contemplating.
Fiora: Ignoring the snark in that for a second, may I ask what you're contemplating exactly?
Cynder: No offense, but no, you may not.
Fiora: Well! You don't have to be so rude about it! Why not?
Cynder: I appreciate that you're trying to help me, but even from people I trust, there's just times I need to be alone. This is one of those times.
Fiora: Oh. I understand. Sorry for interrupting.
Cynder: No worries, I appreciate the thought behind it.
