* September 12th, 1945.

It's finally nice to slow down and be able to update this damn thing. So much has happened. We found out Tonga has had no siren influence since the siren takeover. We faced off against a drone fleet for the first time which almost ended my life. After a short recovery period, we faced off again with a bigger fleet and pulled through due to help from some new allies. Namely Fusou, Richelieu, Triomphant, and Surcouf. They have made life a lot easier. I feel more at peace now than I ever have. I promised myself to not one but two ships. Nimi was the first, much to the surprise of the fleet. Eagle followed shortly after. This polymorphous relationship thing is okay for now, but I must be ready for it to get a lot bigger. Some of these ships give me the feeling that I might have to invest in a jeweler at some point. All that aside, we reached Fiji. We were expecting some resistance, but we got more than we bargained for. The Sakura Pre-Dreadnaught battleship, Mikasa was here waiting for us like some Siren antlion trap. Were it not for the three newest additions to the fleet, I would not be here writing this. Speaking of, we also managed to save a Sakura Destroyer. I do not expect her to do too much for now. From what it sounds like, she endured torture for quite some time. She is protecting a legendary asset, according to the rest of my fleet. I met with Sir Alexander of Fiji today. I had to keep one of our new arrivals from flat out turning him into sidewalk art. Iron Blood girls do NOT mess around. Mikasa stood no chance at the end. Thankfully she was only under siren control and she surrendered immediately. I have officially become a General in addition to my station as Commander. We found landing equipment in a warehouse in Suva. 400 volunteers came forward to provide me with an occupation force for our push to New guinea. Apparently, Alexander says that General MacArthur could still be holed up in hiding in New Guinea. If I can reach him and his troops... we may have a snowballs chance in hell to get this campaign rolling. Solomon and the Philippines will be our true test. Tester is a big figure in the Siren Hierarchy. We take her out, we will have truly kicked the hornets nest. But if we can stage in the Philippines, Japan will be easy... hopefully. If the Pacific war was any indication, depending on if they want the sirens there, we may be fighting for every god damned inch of Japanese soil. Also we found a tank. So that's cool. Odin has been appointed as my vice commander. While I'm recovering, I have entrusted her to keep the fleet in line. We have a new carrier coming in about 18 hours. So hopefully I wont have to wait too much longer after I wake up. * Isaac wrote in his notebook. It had a few chunks missing around the edges as it had been on him during the fight with Mikasa. It had shielded his kidney that was closest to the explosion, saving his life.

"I bet when and if we save the world, this thing will be worth it's weight in gold. I might have to see if I can strike a deal with someone who can get this published for me." Isaac said with a small laugh that devolved into a coughing fit.

"Commander, are you okay? I heard coughing from outside." Omaha asked as she peeked into the dorm building.

"Ah, it's you, Omaha. How goes it?" Isaac asked as she entered the room.

"Everything is going according to plan. The last warehouse is being scoured now. We did manage to find a few more crates of weapons and ammunition. So we can arm 300 of our 400 volunteers. Also, Nimi and Eldridge have joined Surcouf about a mile out keeping watch for enemy fleets and submarines." Omaha said.

"I see. How is Odin doing?" Isaac asked.

"She has reprimanded Friedrich for her outburst. And she is keeping the port moving with frightening efficiency." Omaha said.

"I see. Well, I am going to try to rest. If anyone needs anything, tell them that Odin has command until I am awake. And try to keep people from setting off Friedrich. I'd hate to have to spend the day scrubbing the concrete." Isaac said.

"I will see it done, commander. I'm glad that you're okay." Omaha said as she quietly left the room.

Isaac was out in minutes, exhaustion finally catching up with him as he had not slept in over a day.

Work continued overnight as Isaac slept. The girls slept in shifts, being careful to enter the dorms quietly as to not disturb Isaac. Outside, the girls finally cleaned out the last warehouse. Blueprints, rifles, ammunition, a tank, several landing craft, and an armored car were found within the three warehouses. Friedrich was among the last of the girls to enter the dorms for their couple hours of rest. She laid in the bed across from Isaac so she could keep an eye on him. As the sun peeked over the horizon the next day, Isaac woke and slowly stretched. He looked around the bunk house and saw several of the girls sleeping. He smiled and slowly left the building, yawning as he ran right into Mainz, who was standing on the concrete pad outside the door.

"My apologies, Mainz. I didn't see you there." Isaac said.

"It is fine, Kommandant. I am just glad to see you are doing better. I am actually heading into the city to see if there is any coffee left laying somewhere. Care to come with?" Mainz asked.

"I would, but I should probably relieve Odin so she can catch some rest. It wouldn't be fair for her to have to stay up while I got a full night's rest." Isaac said.

"True. I believe she is in the middle warehouse. She has been keeping an eye on the Carrier while maintaining contact with Nimi and the others on patrol." Mainz said as she walked off towards the city.

"Stay safe. Be back at 0900." Isaac yelled as she put her hand up to acknowledge him.

Isaac made his way to the warehouse where Odin was sitting by the computer.

"Odin? You are relieved of your post. Go ahead and get some rest." Isaac said as he sat down next to her.

"How will you track the recon party?" Odin asked.

"I'm sure I can get to a radio." Isaac said.

"And the countdown?" Odin asked.

"I'm sure it'll be fine. Go get some rest, that's an order." Isaac said as he nudged her shoulder.

"Fine. I will rest for a few hours. But I am keeping the radio active just in case." Odin said defiantly.

"That is an agreeable arrangement. Now go." Isaac said as he helped her to her feet.

"You know, I don't think you'll have this easy a time when we reach the Atlantic. My sisters tend to be very stubborn." Odin said.

"I have had a taste, to say the least." Isaac said.

"Oh? So you've not only promised yourself to Nimi, but you've done..." Odin said before Isaac clamped her mouth.

"Can we not discuss my private life? I'd appreciate it." Isaac said.

"It's okay. She told me everything anyway." Odin said as she walked off. Isaac stood there baffled.

"That is not cool, Nimi." Isaac said as he sat in the chair and waited. 4 hours remained.
