Hello Fellow Readers!

Once again, I want to give a fair warning about manga spoilers throughout this story. I'm really eager to catch up to the manga, so I may be posting extra chapters per week. Either way, I hope you enjoy the reading!

Also, very much like my other stories, I do have mature content in this one. So please be advised.

Thank you!

Touya enters through a door of a room inside a vacant building. Inside, there's the rest of the League who are lounging about. A blonde haired girl is giggling away with a man in a black bodysuit. A man with a reptile-like appearance is sharpening his sword while a man with a black top hat and mask plays with a deck of cards. A few pop their head up upon hearing Touya slam the door shut behind him.

"Someone's in a good mood," the man in the black bodysuit comments.

Touya doesn't pay him any attention and continues to make his way through the room.

"Did ya find any recruits?" the man asks. "Oh wait! You probably burnt them to a crisp!"

"Shut it, Twice," Touya coldly responds.

Touya has been distracted since his argument with me a couple of nights ago. He hasn't been able to take his mind off me, resisting his urges to visit my apartment.

"Watch out for any ashes! Those might be the new members Dabi found!" Twice keeps jabbing.

Touya remembers Keigo calling me late at night, also remembering the caller ID photo and seeing how happy I was with Keigo.

"Seriously! What's the point of you goin' out to find recruits if all you're gonna do is burn'em all? Such a waste of time!" Twice shakes his head. "What kinda recruiter are…"

Touya grows frustrated and launches a stream of fire at Twice. Twice comically dodges it, the flames hitting and damaging a wall. Touya takes aim at Twice again.

"Ah! Someone help!" Twice sweats as he darts his head around. "Hide me, Compress!" he jumps behind the man in the top hat.

"If you can't take the heat, then don't start it," Compress casually replies while still playing with his cards.

"Toga! Spinner! Help!" Twice continues to cower. "Where's the boss when you need him?!"

Touya grunts and treads away to his room down the hall, slamming the door shut. He drops himself on his bed, resting his elbows on his thighs. A deep sigh escapes his mouth as he stares down at the floor.

'I'm such an idiot…' he thinks to himself. 'How could I make her cry like that?'

Touya regrets me crying being the last image of me before leaving. He stares at the worn out wooden floor.

'It's no good if I keep seeing her…' he continues to think. 'What the hell is a pro hero gonna do with a villain? It just doesn't work. I'll only keep hurting her…'

Touya suddenly recalls his encounter with the pro hero Snatch. He can't shake off when Snatch mentioned families. He holds the sides of his head, grasping at his hair.

"I'm gonna go insane the longer I go on like this…" he says to himself.

Everyone at the agency has left for the night. The office floor is empty, dimly lit with only some lights that are on. I'm sitting at my desk, blankly staring at my computer screen. My mind has been distracted since my argument with Touya two nights ago.

'How could he think such things of me and Keigo?' I think to myself. 'Keigo has always been a brother to me...Why can't Touya understand that?'

I understand why Touya feels that way. He feels self-conscious of his appearance. He's always felt inferior to Keigo when it came to appearance, quirks, skills - everything. Ever since Keigo came into my life, Touya had resented him. It's clear he still does now.

'I only hope he's alright…' I think with worry.

"Akira," someone calls out to me.

I turn and am surprised to see Enji approaching my desk. The scar on his left eye reaches down his face, a symbol of his intense fight and his past.

"Enji!" I stand quickly and walk to him. "What are you doing out of the hospital? Isn't it too soon?"

"I'm fine," he reassures me. "The doctor gave me clearance to leave. I can't stand being bedridden anyway."

I stare up at Enji, examining the scar on his tired face. To think Touya, his own son, was the one who released the High End Nomu on him. A look of sorrow is in my eyes as I feel torn between him and Touya.

"Is something wrong?" Enji asks.

"No…" I can't hold back my tears. "I'm just...glad you're alright!"

Tears run down my face as I rub them away. Enji feels bad and feels the need to hug me. His large body practically engulfs me as I continue crying, only leaning my head on his chest as I appreciate his kind gesture. If only he knew why I was truly crying.

It's close to 9pm. Enji sent me home in his limousine while he finished things up at the agency. The limousine pulls up in front of my apartment building. After thanking Untenmaru, I step out, surprised to see a familiar person standing outside. The limousine drives off.

"Keigo?" I gaze at him.

"Hey," he waves a hand at me. "How's it…"

I whack him on the head and pull him into a tight hug, tears rolling down my face. Keigo is surprised at this sudden embrace.

"You're too carefree," I continue to hug him.

"I know," he laughs.

"I'm so glad you're alright."

Keigo sees how worried I am about him and hugs me back tightly.

"Listen…" he says. "Most of my feathers burnt up...and I'm in need of a place to crash for tonight."

"Yes, you can stay the night," I laugh.

"That's a relief!"

After our hug, we make our way up to my apartment. Before reaching the door, I remember there's a chance Touya might be inside even though I don't expect him to be around anytime soon.

"Let me go in and tidy up real quick," I stop in front of my door.

"Hm? Your place isn't normally messy," Keigo raises a brow.

"Which is why I gotta tidy up! I had a long weekend..."

"Fine, fine. I'll wait out here."

Keigo rests his hands behind his head with his eyes closed. I enter my apartment and close the door after me. Turning on the lights, I glance around and see no sign of Touya. Not in my bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or dining area.

'I shouldn't expect him back anytime soon, I guess...' I think to myself.

I then make my way to my front door and let Keigo inside.

"As always, make yourself at home," I close the door after he enters. "Are you hungry? Do you want anything to drink?"

"Actually, I'm starving," Keigo nods.

"I've got some ramen we can make."

"Good! Something fast and warm so I can go to sleep!"

"Right," I laugh as we make our way to the kitchen.

I prepare water in a kettle on the stove. After taking his jacket off, Keigo helps by pulling out two bowls and two pairs of chopsticks and spoons from the top cabinet. He sets them down on the dining table.

"So what's going on with you?" I ask.

"Nothing much," Keigo sits down and shrugs. "Busy with duties as always."

"Nothing crazy with the Commission?"

Keigo stares down at the table for a moment in thought. I watch him for a moment, seeing there's something on his mind.

"Nah, not much," he finally replies.

I stare at him from a side glance, seeing he's not being completely honest. Knowing Keigo and his duties, I trust that he won't tell me for good reason.

"Well, I just hope you're not in too deep in some crazy shit," I say.

"You know me," Keigo laughs.

I give Keigo a smile before turning my attention back to the kettle on the stove. Keigo and I have grown up under the Commission as orphan siblings. I know him too well to know that he's keeping something from me. For now, I'll trust his judgement and leave it at that.
