Luz slowly began to wake up from what she had believed to be a crazy dream from yesterday, but when she had accidentally knocked her head onto Hooty. She realized that the dream was actually real. "Ow! That hurt Luz… I was just trying to wish you a good morning. Hoot." Hooty declared in anger as he recalled himself back into the front door where he was held.

Luz rushed to the window to shout out her apology for ramming her head against the Owl Doorbell. She then took in the glorious sight before her of Argenta and all the crazy inhabitants it had held within. Shortly after this, Luz headed downstairs to see if her new mentor was awake and ready for the lessons of magic. After all, she had held up her end of their deal and it is time that Eda did the same. While she did this, Luz double-checked her phone to make sure that both Roshi and her mother had received her text regarding a parody of the truth of where she was. She didn't want them to worry about her well-being at the moment, yet she then remembered that strange chi she had felt entering this world. Whatever it was, Luz could tell by its chi that it was not only terrified but desperate for an escape from something or someone. 'Wonder what the heck that creature was running from…' Luz thought to herself as she saw King cooking some food for breakfast.

Despite how odd the food looked, something told her that these plates filled with weird and bizarre-looking food were actually edible and even delicious as it made her hunger spike. She was born with quite the appetite that her mother would need to make sure she had large storage of food due to how much she would consume and even had to search for low-budget restaurants to satisfy the nearly bottomless stomach she seemed to have. "What's cooking, King?" Luz questioned as she rushed to the counter to see the various plates that were prepared. "Also, you can cook?" She looked at the fluff ball with a bit of amazement as King gave out a prideful smile.

"Of course, I can Human. Eda isn't much of a chief herself which is why I had taken the time to learn the ways of the culinary arts. It is a way to pay her back for taking me in when she found me abandoned in some cavern." King simply explained as Luz tried to sneak a bite before King smacked her hand with the spoon he had in his hand. "No! You shall wait until Eda is up and about. I will not let anyone miss out on breakfast nor eat before everyone is ready." King told The Hispanic Teen as he used the spoon to scold her. "Also some of these are still quite hot." He explained before it had dawned on him that Luz hadn't even questioned the bizarre meals he had made. He hasn't been to The Human Realm himself, but based on what Eda had told him about her adventures. Human food looked extremely different from the ones in Argenta. "By the way… How can you tell this is actual food?" King questioned, "Isn't Human Food extremely different in appearance to Argenta's Food?" He continued while trying to figure this out himself.

Luz simply shrugged before giving her own theory: "I guess it is the smell of the food. It does smell like basic bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns with several seasonings." This was the honest truth as Luz's mouth began to water due to the food before her before promptly being smacked by King. The Fluffy Ramsey gave her a glare that said to back off. Luz just stuck her tongue out at him in irritation as she walked over to the couch to sit down and wait. "How long do you think Eda will be in bed?" Luz questioned before The Owl Lady walked into the kitchen and clearly seemed exhausted due to a lack of sleep as she grabbed some kind of apple-based liquor from the fridge.

"Morning Eda!" Luz said aloud as she greeted her new Witch mentor who didn't completely register her presence. Eda looked at her a bit blankly as if she didn't recognize her. Luz was a bit confused by this until she had an idea of why. "Not fully awake yet, Eda?" She asked in embarrassment while rubbing the back of her neck.

Then Eda's eyes lit up as she took a drink of her liquor before giving Hispanic Teen a warm smile. "Sorry about that, Luz. I am not a morning person at all. Usually need my morning Apple Blood to be fully ready for the rest of the day." Eda explained with a light chuckle as she pushed a bit of her hair backward. "So, based on what I saw from you last night. You have me very impressed. Even Vegeta saw your potential at the prison break." The Owl Lady praised which shocked King a bit.

"Really? That dude was impressed too?" King questioned as Luz was interested to learn more about this Vegeta person. From what she saw from him last night, the guy seemed like a prideful experienced fighter and a massive arrogant prick.

Eda nodded in confirmation at this claim as she continued: "We both know how hard it is to impress my Saiyan Rival too. He and I may not always get along, but he knows potential when he sees it." With another sip of her drink, Eda began to hold out her hand to summon her staff. "Magic Staff, come to Me!" She shouted out before the group heard several items and glass objects being destroyed by the said staff before it smacked Eda in her face, knocking her over.

"Say… Who is Vegeta exactly? You two seemed to have a history with each other." Luz asked, somewhat eager to learn about him.

Eda stood up as she twirled her staff a bit as she looked over her past with the Saiyan Warrior. "For starters, we knew each other since high school and I always assumed he was an orphan. It was clearly obvious he was too proud to admit this though. As I have mastered the ways of Magic, he has studied and mastered the Seven Styles of Chi Combat." Eda explained before growing a large smirk due to a funny memory. "While I was in Hexside, he and I got into a major fight." The Owl Lady went on as she laughed out loud, "I had fun toying with him before breaking his arm." She went on before allowing herself to change topics. "But I think you wanted to learn how to do magic, right?" She questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Absolutely! I am ready when you are. Even to get my own Witch Staff too." Luz declared, but Eda shook her head at this Staff Claim.

"Kid. You have yet to earn that. You are a beginner and you need to be at least a… "Mid-Level Expert" before thinking of getting a staff like mine." Eda explained before walking over to another room to grab some items for Luz. "So, take this as a trial and help me deliver these to some of my customers." She told her as The Owl Lady gave Luz a shack full of potions and whatnot.

Luz just looked at Eda with utter confusion as to how the hell this would help with her training. Then again, Roshi made her do things like delivering milk, plowing fields for cabbages, and swimming across a lake with a fifty-ton turtle shell on her back while accomplishing these tasks. It definitely helps with her struggles of her control over her own abilities. "Alright, Eda. I'll do it. Just tell me where to go." She replied as King was a bit shocked to hear the lack of objections for basically doing basic chores for 'training'.

"Great to hear, Kid. Although, King needs to come with you to make sure you don't get lost or eaten." Eda explained while glaring at The Fluffy Demon.

"After Breakfast Though!" Luz declared as she rushed to the table to devour her plate of food with a quick pace.

King then glared at Eda with a clear scowl. "Why do I need to go?" King questioned. "Do you Want to start paying Rent?" She countered with her arms crossed which made King give in.

(Later)

Luz looked back into the shack of deliveries that she needed to make and was happy to see this was the last one. The name on the box was to someone named Frost, which made Luz question who this person was.

Yet, King was quick to perk up at this. "Be careful around The Frost Demon, Luz. They have a bad reputation of being quite nasty and unpleasant… Especially when you look at our past with Frieza way back…" King explained with clear distaste for The Frost Demons. This made The Hispanic Girl raise an eyebrow with confusion. King was a Demon himself, yet he clearly didn't like these variants of Demons.

"What do you mean by that?" Luz asked in curiosity. King just simply sighs as he starts to explain the days of old.

"Remember how I mentioned that Saiyans came from the stars? Well, way before the current Emperor, Belos, was in charge. Argenta was under the tyrannical rule of a Frost Demon named Frieza. This guy was not only powerful, but also completely ruthless that matched his cold-blooded heart." King began as he retold the story, "If it wasn't for the Saiyan, Kakarot and whatever Technique he supposedly made. We would have still been under his iron grip and been suffering under it."

Luz was about to ask more about the technique that King had vaguely mentioned, but she was cut short as she bumped into a demon, colored both black and light blue. "I have to say," The demon began with a voice that had the sense of a mastermind villain plotting his newest scheme, "I wasn't expecting to encounter the rumored human who broke into The Conformitium and supposed apprentice of Edalyn Clawthrone." He continued with a chuckle. He then gave a proper bow to greet Luz as she was taken a bit back by this demon's polite and professional demeanor. "My name is Frost, young child. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Frost introduced himself as King glared at Frost with suspicion as Luz couldn't help but blush at the treatment she was receiving from him.
