Eda, King, and Luz were currently making their way to a beach shore for today's Magic Lesson. Though… Luz saw it more like community service upon seeing a large aquatic creature that seemed to use trash as its primary food source. The stench of the dead creature was kind of overwhelming for Luz's nose as she felt like she could puke at any moment. "Remind me why we are acting like scavengers with this dead slug?" The Hispanic Girl asked Eda as she was quite eager to find anything worthwhile.
Eda looked over to her apprentice with a smirk as she used her magic to help her short out some of the junk before them. "Heard the saying of 'One Man's Trash is Another Woman's Treasure', kid?" The Owl Lady questioned as she then gave Luz a bit of a scowl. "Also, view this as a bit of punishment about yesterday. I get why you did what you did, but Vegeta wasn't wrong about it being too stupid of you that you didn't think twice about Frost's scheme." She added on as Luz did understand that part of why she was here.
Though, that did remind her of something she saw with Vegeta. The humanoid metal companion he called Rhino and the fact it seemed to work like a Stand from an anime called Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure. "Eda, what was that Rhino thing Vegeta had with him?" Luz questioned as she started with her service.
"Oh, that is Vegeta's Warframe Rhino. To simplify the explanation, as those who use Magic have Palismans like my Owlbert. Those who use Chi have Warframes that help refine their abilities and their use of the Seven Chi Styles of Combat." Eda explained as she pet Owlbert as he nuzzled against her. "Now the abilities of a Warframe is kind of a reflection of its user." She went on as Luz was taking mental notes of the information. "Though, they aren't made from the same material that Palismans are crafted from." Eda went on as she dug into the Trash Slug before she found an intact egg that wasn't damaged.
Luz perked towards Eda upon hearing that both Palismans and Warframes were crafted, not entities that were taken in as enhancers for their users. "Seriously? You made Owlbert?" The Hispanic girl questioned in shock as she looked over to Eda.
"That's right kid. Palismans and Warframes are forged from a specific type of material though. Warframes, and the Semblance Gear that they are encased in, are crafted from one of the types of Orokin Metals while Palismans are crafted from different types of Mana Lumbers." The Owl Lady continued on as Luz worked on her Community Service as Eda entertained herself. "Though, Luz, with your magic training. It is important to remain resourceful when you can." She continued as Eda handed Luz the egg while trying to sound like a wise elder given her advice.
Though, Luz slightly groaned due to this before she recalled that Eda and Vegeta had attended a school when they were young. "Say, Eda… Didn't you mention that both you and Vegeta attended a school called Hexside?" She asked with curiosity to The Witch's dismay. Edalyn clearly didn't find the thought of school quite pleasant due to her rebel girl personality as she confirmed this.
"It is hard to imagine that you had attended school, Eda. Don't they try to teach people to use Chi and Magic the 'Proper Way'?" King remarks with a sassy tone. Though, Eda glared at him as a warning which was greeted by an eyeroll as he resumed sunbathing.
Luz, on the other hand, was eager to see if she could attend this school. After all, this wasn't Earth and she could finally make friends that wouldn't have a risk of being hurt by the overwhelming power she had. "Is the school close by?" She asked with stars in her eyes. "I promise I'll be back in an hour if you let me check it out." Luz begged as Eda tried to resist the eyes that the young teen was giving her.
Letting out a small sigh, Eda compiled with the request and even gave her directions to the school. Luz immediately sped off to check out Hexside for herself as Eda felt a bit… Upset that Luz wanted to attend the school over her teachings. She couldn't explain why she felt like that anyways. "Someone is looking jealous." King stated with a snarky sing-song voice.
Eda scoffed as she glared at the demon pup. "Think you can be a better teacher?" She questioned with a sly smirk, "We could make a bet on that if you want. Though, I have won every time over bets like this." The Owl Lady announced as she grabbed another Trash Slug egg to give to King.
"A Hundred to One Odds?" King replied as he took the Egg, "Like those Odds Eda. If I can't train this little guy to be a soldier for my army, I will gladly pick up my mess at the house." He declared as he offered to shake on the bet.
Later, Luz was managing her best to find her way to the highschool of Magic and Chi Mastery. Though as she grew closer to the school, Luz felt two sets of Chi close by. Deciding to check that out first before continuing on, Luz saw two girls who seemed a bit nervous as one of them was carrying a large pot with purple colored slime seeping from the lid. One was a girl who seemed to be like Caulifa that she met at The Conformatorium a while back. Though, she seemed to have the pointed ears of a Witch that were barely noticeable within her spiky black hair which was done in a ponytail. Her attire consisted of a red mini shirt, golden bracers, a medium sized skirt with shorts underneath them, and finally a set of golden boots. The other girl oddly seemed to also have the mixed appearance of a Saiyan and Witch like the girl next to her. Her spiky dark blue hair seemed to express that she was quite a tomboy as she adored a set of round glasses, a turtle neck shirt under a light brown jacket, set of jeans and casual shoes to finish.
"I am so not looking forward to showing the results of my homework assignment, Kale…" The Tomboy began as she pulled the kart and the large container upon it with a single hand. "I bet the teacher is gonna use me to give the class more homework. It feels like I am Being Singled Out!" The Tomboy yelled out as Kale tried to reassure her sister.
"Willow, I am sure that isn't what is happening in the Abomination Course… Hopefully Amity won't be attending this time too." Kale said with a weak smile before they both heard another kart approaching them, causing them both to groan in pure annoyance. They knew who it was and they were not happy to see her again.
