The creature of monstrous strength and power stared down Hit as the Grimm Hunter walked into view of it. "Should have figured trying to get a surprise attack on you wouldn't work…" Hit announced as he tried to scale his power against his own. Though, it was clear this would not be an easy fight. The Energies that came off of the creature consisted of Witches, Demons, Grimms, and Saiyans all into one being. Yet, there was one more element that made this creature what it was. 'But it can't be possible that this thing is a Basilisk too… I thought they went extinct years ago… Though, it has to be the only explanation of how it drained the life from the witch with its tail.' Hit concluded as he entered into his fighting stance, ready to strike when the moment presented itself.
Though, the Bug Creature simply laughs at this. "You are actually gonna try to fight me?" It mocked with reassurance in the capabilities it had within its being. "What a foolish notion that you think you can actually stand up against my might! But I have no interest in you nor these weaklings… I have other goals aside from snacking on lovely energy." It proclaimed with a true lack of interest towards Hit. This did confuse Hit, but he wasn't gonna simply let the monster walk away as he vanished out of sight from the Monster. "What the?" It shouted aloud before feeling being struck several times in quick succession, falling to its knees from the attacks. It just snarled in response as Hit reappeared into view behind the creature.
Hit's eyes narrowed before widening in shock as the creature got back up, seeing the wounds quickly healing from the damage he inflicted. "That was pretty impressive, Grimm Hunter. This may be an entertaining battle after all. Though, before I end you. Allow me to introduce myself." It gloated in arrogance as it began to reveal its true power, "I am Cell, The Ultimate Archon." Cell declared he began to do battle with the Hunter.
Yet, Hit once vanished again out of sight. This time, however, Cell was ready to counter as he swung his tail to his left with incredible force. Resulting in Hit being slammed into a wall, cracking it on impact. 'How does he know about my Time Skips… Though, it may not be that. If he has the genetics of a Saiyan, he may be tracking my Energy to see where I strike…' Hit thought over what had occurred as he readjusted his strategy against Cell. Though, The Archon turned towards Hit while placing two fingers upon his forehead as energy began to crackle at the tips at a rapid pace. Once the energy was fully charged, Cell pointed the attack at Hit as he shouted: "Special Beam Cannon!"
Luckily Hit was able to use his Time Skip to dodge the attack as the building he was by was destroyed by the beam. 'That Was Nail's Technique! How the hell did he learn that?!' The Hunter questioned in confusion as Cell managed to land a punch on Hit before he could react at the creature's speed. Hit had the wind knocked out of him as he once again Time Skip away to get some distance before propelling his fist forwards, sending a magical and transparent energy strike at Cell.
The Attack hit Cell's body and went through his heart as he yelled due to the pain, yet it didn't kill him as he once regenerated from the attack. Once fully recovered, Hit felt the power Cell had just increased in strength as he cursed himself for not realizing he had the Zenkai Boost of a Saiyan. If he didn't put Cell down Permanently, Hit would only make Cell stronger and stronger. Though, how could he when The Archon could just regenerate from any attacks inflicted? "Good effort, Grimm Hunter. But like I said, this would only be a fruitless battle for yourself." Cell declared with a sinister smile before he readied himself for another attack. However, Cell felt another presence close by as he perked his head towards the source of the Energy. "That seems like a good amount of energy to consume." He declared as Hit began to feel the energy too, "Sorry to cut this fight short, but I am still rather hungry." The Archon told Hit as he positioned his hands in front of his head for another attack. Though it only produced a blinding light as he shouted, "Solar Flare!"
Hit immediately shielded his eyes from the light and once it vanished, Cell was nowhere to be seen. Hit was now truly panicked as he knew that the energy nearby belonged to a class of rookie Grimm Hunters of Hexside. With anger in his face, Hit took off after Cell to hopefully cut him off before he could reach the students.
Elsewhere, located by a forest and set of ruins belonging to a forgotten temple for The Titans. Emira, Edric, Shallot, Caulifa, Boscha, Kale, Gus, and a few others were standing on a cliff that was above the forest below. Accompanying the students were Nail and a small as well as furry Coven Leader of Beast Keeping, Eberwolf. "Welcome everyone to your first Grimm Hunting class." Nail began with a warm smile before he gestured to the Coven Leader, "Me and Coven Leader, Eberwolf, will be your teachers for today's lesson." He explained before Eberwolf took the lead. They were quite small in size and had some qualities with her appearance of a wolfish nature. They wore a sage green sleeveless shirt, a dull brown loincloth in the likeness of a hand or paw with light gray claws, and a pair of dark brown boots with gray soles. They also wear a pair of spiked yellow arm bracers.
"So, how these kinds of classes go about are often accompanied by one of the Coven Leaders as you all are aware as a safety measure against the Grimms. Though, I wouldn't recommend expecting me to be holding your hand on the Hunt. It is always best for one to learn on the hunt by yourselves." They explained with a smirk before they turned serious, "However, if you're truly in need of help. That is when me or Nail will step in." Eberwolf finished off, which relaxed some of the students.
Nail then raised a finger as he explained the next part of the assignment, "This is a team of at least four assigned. Your teammates will be decided on the first person you lock eyes on. Regardless of their specialized Magic or Chi Style." This ended up confusing some of the students as Boscha raised her hand to ask a question as Eberwolf gesture for her to speak.
"Why can't you just pick our teammates now? I think it would be better for me to be with those who actually have combative capabilities like Shallot." She declared with a distasteful glare towards mainly her sister, Caulifa. Yet Shallot was the one to answer the question.
"It is because your team needs to have Utility. Having allies who are able to supply an offense, a defense, and a support is way better than a team that only focuses on just attacking." The Saiyan explained as if the answer is obvious.
Eberwolf chuckled before they spoke up, "That is one of the reasons for sure, Shallot. The other is because Grimm Hunters can either go solo or are teamed up at random due to the fact Grimms outside of populated areas will strike at any time." They finished off as Nail confirmed this statement with a nod. However, Boscha wasn't happy with this answer as she gave out a tsk in disappointment. "Any more questions?" The Coven Leader asked before they readied the final task for the class to start things off.
"Umm… How do we get done there, exactly?" Questioned a small Slug Demon like Nail himself who wore clothing similar to the Older Demon as the two teachers smirked at the question.
"You should be a little more concerned about how you will be landing than how you will be getting down from here, Dende." Nail announced as the students were growing confused by the statement. "What do you mean by THATTT!?" Dende questioned as a mechanism launched him into the air and towards the forest.
"Hell Ya! This is Gonna Be Fun as Flark!" Caulifa shouted as she got pumped up for action as she did some punches in the air to loosen her body. One by one, each student was launched into the forest below as they did their best to soften the fall to avoid any injuries. Caulifa was able to do well thanks to her Saiyan and Demonic Heritage as it gave her stronger endurance compared to most. She did have some degree of Elemental Control though Caulifa never bothered to ever tap into it. Boscha was more of a prodigy with this as well as her Beast Keeper Magic, which did allow the user to give themselves traits for enhanced capabilities. To provide an analogy for this is to think of Beast Boy from The Original Teen Titans Series and how he could morph into animals ranging from a wolf, tiger, bird, and even a tyrannous rex.
This led to Caulifa to be within her shadow due to the lack of potential compared to Boscha. Though as Saiyan Tomboy was wrapped within her thoughts, she bumped into Edric Blight as they rammed their foreheads against each other unexpectedly. "Ow!" The two shouted aloud as they rubbed the wounded area before realizing they were now teammates against the Grimms within the forest. "Cool! I have a Saiyan Teammate! Definitely a bonus for me." Edric cheered as Caulifa groaned at this idea. This led to the Blight Teen to be visibly confused as it led him to ask: "Why do you see this as a bad thing? Aren't Saiyans known for overcoming their limits, or whatever?"
Caulifa groaned at this notion due it being half true these days. "That spark kind of died out over the years, Blight… Sure we had a period where we were like that, but Saiyans wanted nothing more than to find a home after Sadala's destruction. Frieza just was an enemy we needed to take down before that could happen." Caulifa explained as she pressed onwards through the forest, keeping an eye out for any potential Grimms close by.
'Makes sense actually… It is odd to see Vegeta being the only one like that too.' Edric reasoned within his thoughts as he followed behind. "Well, I am still glad you're on my team." He added on to hopefully cheer up. Caulifa just responded with a glare which resulted in Edric shutting up in a frightened manner. Though they soon found Kale being cornered by a small group of Wolf Grimms as they snarled at her and fed on her negative emotions.
Edric formed a circle in the air to create an illusion to draw their attention as the Grimms turned away from the exhausted Saiyan Parks before Caulifa charged up crimson energy within her right palm before shouting; "Crush Cannon!" She then fires a scattered shot of flurry of Chi Bolts at the Grimms, destroying them all with each hit.
Once they were defeated, Caulifa rushed over to Kale to check on her as Edric kept an eye out for any more of the Grimms within the area. "You doing good, Kale?" The Tomboy asked as she noticed Kale's Hairband had fallen off while grabbing it.
Kale nodded as she brushed her hair out of her eyes as she sat against the tree her back was against during the attack. "Thanks for the save, Caulifa…" She told her with a kind smile as Caulifa knelt down to her.
"Lost this, Kale. Let me fix your hair while we are at it. K?" She asked as Kale blushed and compiled to the request. Though, as Caulifa redid Kale's ponytail, Edric decided to do an amazingly moronic skit.
"Caulifa and Kale sitting in a tree!" He began with a sing-song voice as he continued; "K-I-S-S-I-" He went on before a Chi Bolt sliced his left cheek as a worrying shot as Caulifa had a menacing stare towards Edric as he gulped in fear. "I regret my life choices…" He announced as a nervous sweat drop formed on his forehead as he lightly chuckled.
"I bet you do, moron." Caulifa growled as she got up as Kale let out an annoyed groan while rubbing the bridge of her nose. "Though, we should get moving before…" She went on before they all felt the ground beginning to shake from something massive making its way towards them.
They all turned to see a giant Scorpion Grimm staring them down as the red streaks over its body were glowing with power as it clipped its claws in a form of intimidation. "I think that is Deathstalker, guys…" Kale announced with a panicked voice as she saw Caulifa's anger growing as she punched Edric.
"Great! Now we have an Alpha on our asses because of you Idiot!" Caulifa shouted as Edric was now also growing in rage as he got up to return the punch. This made it clear what emotion the Grimm Alpha fed on as Kale fired a green chi bolt between them to separate them. "The Grimm is Feeding on Your Anger! If you don't stop we are gonna make it too powerful for us to stop!" Kale yelled to warn them as they all got into battle position to do battle as Deathstalker let out a massive roar.
