There was a current extremely violent thunderstorm going on at the normally colorful Maple Treeway with the various lightning bolts striking the various trees and causing fires to spread across the forest with the races being cancelled out of safety concerns for the racers; of course the giant Wiggler caterpillars on top of the tree didn't mind the booming thunder claps or the pouring rain falling onto them.
"Looks like we don't have to worry about the racers bumping into us with those items tonight Bill."
"Well Phil it seems like the rain is our friend after all."
