Alice walked down the gangway from the Iowa and ran into Arizona, who was standing and looking at the Missouri as if in some sort of trance.
"Arizona?" Alice asked as she tapped the battleship on the shoulder.
Arizona jolted a bit at her touch but remained calm realizing where she was.
"Oh, Nurse Alice. How are you?" Arizona asked as she turned to face the nurse.
"I'm doing well. How are you and 13 doing after that last mission?" Alice asked.
Arizona smiled softly at Alice.
"She definitely learned not to sneak off base, that's for sure." Arizona said.
"What did you do?" Alice asked curiously.
"I didn't do anything physical. I may have raised my voice at the poor thing, but I just let her know that I was severely disappointed with what she did. That seemed to affect her the most." Arizona said.
"I didn't know you yelled." Alice said with a smile.
"Penny didn't think I did either. You should have seen her face that night." Arizona said with a small chuckle.
"Did you feel up to coming back to work? We don't have much going on, but we could always use the hands." Alice said.
"I'll come back. It beats sitting around waiting for the battle to return." Arizona said with a small smile.
"That's great. The girls and I managed to get a little gift for you during your absence. The others insist that you'll love it." Alice said.
"Aww. You shouldn't have." Arizona said as she and Alice made their way back to the Norfolk.
Norfolk made her way across the port searching for a Sakura heavy cruiser. It was infinitely harder to do considering the girl in question didn't have a ship.
Witmer stopped what he was doing and looked at Norfolk.
"You look lost, Miss Norfolk. Something I can help with?" Witmer asked.
"I am looking for Atago, have you seen her?" Norfolk asked.
"I did. They are in the bunk house. They've been there for quite some time." Witmer said.
Norfolk groaned a bit but nodded.
"Thank you, Witmer." Norfolk said as she ran towards the bunk house.
"Atago... you don't need to pamper me like this." Baltimore whined as Atago had her head in her lap and was cleaning her ear.
"No? Too bad. Big sister Atago is going to take care of Baltimore. Don't try to resist, Bal~ti~more." Atago said as the door to the bunk house opened.
Norfolk entered the room and looked around quickly, finding Atago right away.
"Atago." Norfolk said as she saw what she was doing.
"Oh my? Norfolk comes calling. Does Shikikan have business with me?" Atago asked.
"No. This is a personal call... something I can't ask Alice or the Commander about." Norfolk said.
"Ara? Well now, this sounds like a job for everyone's favorite big sister." Atago said as she quickly finished up with Baltimore.
"Baltimore? Could I have some alone time with Norfolk?" Atago asked.
"Sure. I'll go out and see if there's anything I can do to help the other sailors to prepare for departure." Baltimore said as she leaned in to Atago.
Atago smiled and laid a kiss on Baltimore's lips before Baltimore left the room.
"I see you and Baltimore have quite the relationship." Norfolk said.
"She's great, honestly. She is caring, strong, and compassionate." Atago said as she beckoned Norfolk to sit on her lap.
"I really shouldn't..." Norfolk said as Atago took her by the arm and pulled her over.
"Nonsense. Come sit with big sis." Atago said as she placed Norfolk in her lap.
"Oh... alright then." Norfolk said, slightly hesitant but unable to refuse.
"Now, what can big sister help with?" Atago asked.
"Well... I went to Alice with an issue regarding something my body is experiencing... but she said someone like you or Friedrich would be able to explain it better." Norfolk said.
"Oh? This sounds serious then." Atago said as she put Norfolk on the spot next to her.
"So what is this feeling?" Atago asked.
"Well... I... Odin radioed me earlier this morning. I know she was with the Commander since last night, but when she radioed, she made a couple of weird noises that I have never heard her make. So I got worried. I ran down towards the Commanders room before I heard them talking through the walls." Norfolk said.
"Ara ara... I think I already know where this is going. Please continue." Atago said as her ears twitched.
"Well, I didn't catch much, but Odin was asking how the Commander was so full of energy. and He said he didn't have to hold back. From that point, I was confused so I went to the door and was about to knock when I saw a hole from when Nimi broke in. My curiosity got the best of me and I looked inside..." Norfolk said.
"Oh no. You saw something you didn't expect of the Vice Commander, did you?" Atago asked.
"I did... but then I started feeling all hot and squirmy. I only got a body recently so i thought that maybe something was wrong." Norfolk said.
"Not at all, Norfolk. Believe big sis when she says that. What you felt was completely natural for those with a human form." Atago said as Norfolk looked at her.
"What is this feeling?" Norfolk asked.
"You saw something that your body wants. Whatever it was, something deep down wants it, and that feeling is your body telling you that." Atago said with a soft smile.
"So... my body wants to have sex with the Commander?" Norfolk asked.
"Only you can make that distinction, but from the sounds of it, you liked what you saw and want to try it yourself." Atago said as Norfolk looked at her lap.
"How do I get this feeling to go away?" Norfolk asked.
Atago blushed a bit, turning her head to hide it.
"Well... either ask Shikikan to give you what you need... or take care of the issue yourself." Atago said.
"The Commander is too busy with Odin. How do I take care of it myself?" Norfolk asked.
Atago looked back at Norfolk.
"I can't really explain it. You just have to experiment with what you like." Atago said
Norfolk looked at Atago and then at her lap.
"I guess it would be reckless to ask anything more... but I think I understand what you're saying." Norfolk said.
"My only advice, is don't do it too much. You can easily become addicted to the feeling." Atago said as Norfolk got up and bowed slightly.
"Thank you for the advice. I think I'll be going now." Norfolk said as her blush became pronounced as she envisioned what the 'experiment' would entail.
Norfolk left the Bunk house and was immediately bombarded with radio calls from Odin.
"Norfolk? Come in please." Odin asked.
"Ah, my apologies, Vice Commander. I had turned off my radio after your transmission this morning." Norfolk said.
"We got a bit worried. But that aside, Kommandant refuses to take the day off and wants to review the list that you made last night. Could you bring it to his quarters?" Odin asked.
"No worries, Vice Commander. I am on my way back to the ship now, so I will pick it up and bring it to you." Norfolk said.
"Thank you. Sorry to bother you again." Odin said.
"Once again, no worries." Norfolk said as she cut the line.
"I can only imagine what I am going to see in there." Norfolk whispered to himself as she walked up the gangway of her ship.
A knock came to the door of Isaac's quarters.
"Enter." Isaac said from the bed as he and Odin laid beneath the covers.
"I have the list you requested. It includes those that do not have ships as well. We have the ore to be able to produce cubes if we find a matrix." Norfolk said as she actively avoided looking at Isaac and Odin.
"Thank you Norfolk." Isaac said.
"No problem, Commander. Is there anything else I can do for you?" Norfolk asked, once again avoiding his eyes.
"Could you just leave them on the stand next to the bed?" Isaac asked.
"Of course." Norfolk said as she walked over and put the folder on the table.
"Is there anything else to report?" Isaac asked.
"Nimi is having problems, but they are being addressed by Otto and Friedrich. Bismarck and U-556 are doing well thanks to Vengeance and Vestal. And the port is slowly getting ready for our departure. I believe sometime today or Tomorrow would be a good time to issue orders based off that list." Norfolk said.
Isaac was dumbfounded by everything that had occurred.
"Is Nimi alright?" Isaac asked, slightly frantic.
"She is alright. She is currently being looked over by Otto. She'll be alright." Norfolk said as Isaac looked over at Odin.
"She will be alright. You're in no position to move anyway, so there's nothing you can do." Odin said as she stared him down until he relented. Isaac sighed before responding to Norfolk.
"Alright. Thank you Norfolk. Please, if you haven't, inform Nimitz of my request and then take the day to tend to yourself. You're looking a bit flushed." Isaac said as Norfolk nodded.
"Thank you sir." Norfolk said as she walked out.
"She saw, Kommandant..." Odin said.
"I think that just confirmed it." Isaac said as he looked at Odin.
"You know, you are a monster." Odin said as she cuddled up to him.
"You're no slouch yourself." Isaac said as he reached over and looked over the list.
"So, who's the lucky crew coming with us?" Odin asked.
"Well. It looks like Norfolk has the right idea. She has a diverse fleet makeup here." Isaac said as he began naming names.
"Norfolk, Vengeance, Nimi, Friedrich, Eagle, Shinano, I-13, Atago, Belfast, Bremerton, U-47, Gangut, Vestal, Arizona, Helena, Odin, Texas, Baltimore, Mainz, U-110, Bismarck, Elizabeth, Zara, Prinz Heinrich, Laffey and Richelieu. She also included the plans for Richthofen, and the assignment for Nimitz and the Missouri." Isaac read off.
"We will have to take the Athene and the Transport ship to help carry equipment." Odin said as she traced a circle on his chest.
"Agreed. If you're not too tired, please notify everyone on this list privately via radio that they will be the ones coming with us when we depart for Australia." Isaac said.
"Understood. Take some time to rest. If how I feel right now is any indication, you're bound to be running on fumes." Odin said as she looked over at Isaac who had already closed his eyes and was falling asleep.
"I love when I'm right." Odin whispered to herself as she began running through the list.
