Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadows of the Force. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter. I don't own RWBY and Star Wars. Monty Oum, Lucas Films, and Rooster Teeth do.

(Venator Class Cruiser Trailblazer, Remnant Orbit 11:40 AM)

"So, anyway… I won the race." Lerek said as several of his clones laughed while Blake playfully rolled her eyes.

"If you call that sprinting, then sure." Blake joked which got another round of chuckles from the clones.

"Eh, sounds like you have some completion, general." Lerek heard from Drifter as the Arkanian smirked to himself.

"That doesn't sound that bad, to be honest, Drifter," Lerek said before his comlink buzzed. "Admiral?" Lerek asked as the voice of one of the clone officers on the bridge spoke.

"Sir? One of those unknown ships is approaching Remnant… We've also gotten reports." Lerek heard as he blinked to himself. "We've been ordered to dispatch troops to Vale, for now, a matter of security. I'll send a full report to your quarters." The officer said before going dark.

"Damn it…" Lerek muttered and turned to Drifter and his men. "Drifter? Get a few platoons ready. I need you to tell Senator Organa in person. I'm going to talk to Master Kenobi. They already tried to go over my head before, I'm not letting them do it again." Lerek ordered as he sighed.

"I'll go talk to my friends." Blake started to say before Lerek shook his head.

"No, I'm going to need your help for this," Lerek said as he slowly stood up. "How would you like to learn more about the Jedi as I promised?" Lerek said as Blake shrugged, a small smirk crossing her features.

(5 minutes later)

Lerek watched several LAATS with Y-Wing and V-19 Torrent fighter escort depart the Trailblazer. The head of this impromptu formation was a single NU-Class shuttle which Lerek knew belonged to Drifter. He could count on the clone commander, which left some issues up to him more than anyone else.

His ETA-Class shuttle carried him, team RWBY, and Ms. Goodwitch along with 4 clones. Lerek had the fleet spread out in case more ships spread out… And to keep an eye both on the Separatists below… And whatever the new 'Republic' fleet seemed to be.

"The republic has these many resources?" Ms. Goodwitch questioned before looking down at her scroll. "This deal might prove to be the most interesting piece of Remnant and Vale history." Ms. Goodwitch said as Lerek looked over his shoulder.

"Might be one of ours, Remnant has things our galaxy doesn't," Lerek said before crossing his arms. "I dread what happens if a businessman or the Separatists get it," Lerek muttered a moment later while scratching at his neck.

"So, the separatists are like your version of the White Fang?" Weiss questioned, gaining a glare from Blake. "I'm just asking. They sound like revolutionaries who chose violence as soon as the olive branch stopped being an option." Weiss added to which Blake hummed.

"That doesn't mean either of our sides chose to be accepting of that choice, to begin with," Blake said as Glynda went to speak only for Lerek to speak.

"I don't know how the war started," Lerek said before looking at Blake and Weiss. "But I know wars often have issues on BOTH sides. I've seen what war will do to innocent planets. I get my way? They're not touching Remnant… And we aren't sapping this planet to line our pockets and fuel the war." Lerek said as he looked down at the floor.

The shuttle finally approached the Negotiator. Glynda supposed due to the common appearance? These ships were the mainstay of the republic navy. They appeared to carry a lot of soldiers and military equipment… It did surprise her how much Lerek DIDN'T want to flex his military might, but that did show some intelligence… Something she wished a friend held within his brain.

The shuttle slowly but surely landed within the hanger of the republic flagship. Blake and the others watched dozens of clones; all clad in yellowish-white armor instead of the blueish black Lerek's had milled around.

"Ladies, I introduce to you the 212th attack battalion," Lerek said as the shuttle descended, its wings folding up as the shuttle landed within the hanger. "Trailblazer is still better and roomier." Lerek joked as the ramp started to extend a moment later.

Lerek allowed the clones down the ramp first as Ms. Goodwitch escorted RWBY after them as Lerek followed.

"Master Kenobi, I need to speak to you," Lerek stated as he looked around the room a moment later. "Master Kenobi, please, I must do so," Lerek said before another voice answered.

"General Kenobi is on the bridge, sir." He heard as he turned to greet Cody. "He was expecting you and your contact," Cody stated as Lerek was silent a moment.

"Friend, Commander Cody. She's, my friend." Lerek stated which got an awkward pause from Cody as he questioned what to say next. "Professor Goodwitch, I believe you'd want to report to Professor Ozpin while I and Blake talk to Master Kenobi?" Lerek asked which got a nod from the woman as she set to work trying to contact the headmaster.

"Use the ship, I doubt your tech was meant for atmosphere," Lerek suggested as Glynda turned to walk up the ramp.

The others watched as both Lerek and Blake made their way across the hanger towards the turbo-lift.

"So how long till you think they're a thing?" Yang asked as she got a roll of her eyes.

"You and your incessant attempts to throw romance into everything," Weiss said, rubbing at her temples with frustration at the moment.

Yang looked at her friends with shock at the moment as they point while she cracked her fingers a second alter.

(With Lerek and Blake)

The trio passed into the turbo lift a moment. Both whiles both looked at the door.

"So, the separatists are on Remnant?" Lerek asked, rubbing at the bridge of his nose. "Blast it. Now that's on my conscience." Lerek stated while he cracked his knuckles.

"They haven't spread outside… I believe it's called 'Mistral', sir." Cody stated as he hummed. "We've been told not to deploy troops there for. We're still monitoring it, sir." Cody added a second later.

"We are NOT mass deploying troops to Remnant, commander," Lerek said as he crossed his arms. "This isn't our dimension or our home," Lerek said as he winced at his tone.

He was normally more laid back than this at the time. Perhaps this adventure was getting to him more than he believed. It was still bugging him, however.

The doors of the turbolift opened and the trio exited. Lerek noticed Obi-Wan was busy standing around the holo table with Admiral Block. The two were busy discussing something as they entered the room.

"No, I think we should wait for them to contact us…" Obi-Wan stated before he turned towards his fellow Jedi. "Ah, Master Zun. I've heard you've been quite busy in the past few days… Your friend must be Blake, yes?" Obi-Wan questioned as the Faunus meekly answered.

Lerek gave a small chuckle at Blake's shock at meeting the Jedi. He was used to it, however. Lerek had the same reaction to him when he had been at one of their classes. He stepped forward a moment later.

"I'm surprised you're not with Master Skywalker or his Padawan, Master Kenobi," Lerek said before he turned toward Blake. "And yes. This is Ms. Belladonna; she and I have agreed to answer questions about things in exchange for her help… In fact? We were just in the middle of talking when we heard about Remnant." Lerek said as Obi-Wan nodded.

"Yes, it seems between that fleet of warships out there and the separatists below?" Obi-Wan questioned as he paused to look around once more at the table. "There is much to discuss. Senator Organa has suggested I focus on the peace talks first while you look into the separatists." Obi-Wan stated before Lerek paused to let his words sink in.

"He wants ME to handle the separatists?" Lerek asked as he rubbed at his temples. "Great, they must be desperate." Lerek joked which managed to get a slight smirk from Blake at the moment.

The Jedi master turned his attention to the Faunus a moment later and raised an eyebrow.

"I sense a lot of emotion from you, Ms. Belladonna," Obi-Wan said and blinked. "I sense… Something similar to the force with her, but much different. It's very peculiar." Obi-Wan said as Lerek hummed.

"Yeah, I sensed it with her friends as well," Lerek said and turned to Blake. "With any case? That's not why I've come. I'm well aware I'm not the most… 'Traditional' of Jedi, but there is much to discuss between us and the people of Remnant." Lerek said as Obi-Wan nodded.

"Yes, I've heard Senator Organa and Ozpin I believe are having a rather enjoyable talk," Obi-Wan said as both Jedi and Blake turned to the holo table. "You should be aware a new kingdom has entered the talks… And the governments of the other regions have reached out to us." Obi-Wan stated as a hologram of Vale and the Trailblazer appeared.

"Would one of those happen to be Menagerie?" Blake asked as Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow. "It's an island full of Faunus," Blake explained while Lerek hummed.

"She's a Faunus, I've been explaining the Jedi and Arkanians to her," Lerek explained before Obi-Wan nodded. "Did they, though? If we establish relations to Remnant? We should extend support to everyone." Lerek questioned which got Obi-Wan to close his eyes.

"I'm not sure. Delegates are slowly appearing as we speak." Obi-Wan said before frowning. "We do have reports of separatist scouts near Vale." Obi-Wan said as Lerek blinked.

"When? Their scouting Vale?" Lerek questioned a tone of alertness in his voice at the moment.

Lerek was going to point out that things which could only ponder what would happen next. He was scared that a division of droids was on the planet. The Arkanian was going to hope that they were not at full power.

"Yes, that's why we had sent clones to Vale," Obi-Wan stated as Lerek sighed and shook his head once more.

"Well, this means an issue," Lerek said before turning on his heel. "I have to return to Vale; do you need a ride back?" Lerek questioned as Obi-Wan held up a hand.

"No, I've got to talk to Senator Organa before then. I'll leave the droids to you." Lerek heard which garnered a nod from the Arkanian.

"And what about the fleet of ships? You said their republic but also… Not?" Lerek asked to which the Jedi master nodded.

"They've gone to a portion of Vale; we're keeping an eye on them." Obi-Wan nodded as Lerek started to walk away. "Oh, and one of my ships just retrieved your friend from Remnant's moon. I believe he's returning to the Trailblazer." Obi-Wan said before Lerek hummed.

"Ruzul," Lerek muttered and turned to Blake. "Vale might be in danger. Would your friends like to see what the separatists finally are?" Lerek asked which got a nod as both slowly started to descend the turbo-lift.

Lerek knew for a fact that more soldiers would be appearing. There would be dozens of droids on the frontlines, Lerek was going to have to prepare for another battle, just once more.

Obi-Wan watched Blake turns to look at Lerek, curious about the Arkanian next to her. Something was interesting there.
