Numb.

That's exactly how Leni loud felt this moment right now. In the suite case next to her contained the little pieces of her belongings that the blonde was able to bring with her. After the fight with her mom, Leni got together a bag and left. All he siblings were gathered around to shocked to speak, Lori glared at her but wisely remained silent.

Her mom stood in the door watching her pack with her hands on her full hips, " when you decide you want to come back, your punishment still stands".

Leni would never forget or forgive her mother's actions or the hypocrisy, her dadand siblings were somehow worse. No one stood up for Leni, they all just watched silent. They probably thought that like with Lincoln, the teen needed some tuff love to appreciate what she had. Leni would show them...

First she had to figure out what she was going to do in the meantime.

Lincoln tried to read his comics in peace but the feeling of something being wrong was eating at him. Someone was missing.

The incidents from earlier still plagued the albino. Had his mom really just kicked Leni out over Lori's tantrum?

Lincoln for one was sick of Lori's behavior, he didn't now about the others because the girls normally stuck together. Girls club, not as loyal as Lincoln once thought.

No one spoke up for the blonde in the moment, not even dad. Lincoln didn't want to get singled out again, so he stayed silent hoping that Leni would just bend and do as their mom said.

In short Lincoln was a coward, he'd let his bro down by not telling Bobby and he'd let Leni down by not speaking up. Now it was eating him up inside because Lincoln knew how it felt like to be thrown away...

Bobby Santiago lay in bed exhausted, his confrontation with Lori still playing through his mind...

Despite acting unaffected at the moment Bobby felt gutted. He was going to marry her. The ring box sat forlorn, it was neasuateing to think about the future he could of had if Leni hadn't told him the truth...

Hopefully Leni was okay at home. Bobby hadn't stayed long enough to see the aftermath but with how salty Lori was Bobby was almost sure that she'd freak out.

The sound of a slight knock caught Bobby's attention, raising an eyebrow the Latino cautiously opened his door.

On the other side of the door stood Leni, the blondes hair was tousled and she was missing her trademark sunglasses. Her eyes were swollen red, like she'd just been crying.

" Leni? What happened,"?

Bobby unlocked the chain and let the blonde back into his apartment, Leni carried a small white backpack with her. The blonde was abnormally quite making Bobby worried, had something happened after he left?

" I'm sorry to drop into you Like this Bobby...I'm not really sure what to do but Lori flipped out and my mom wanted to punish both of us, Lori for her fit and me for telling you about her"...

Bobby felt a burning feeling Bloom in his chest as Leni continued speaking, " My mom said if I didn't accept the punishment then I couldn't live there anymore".

"They threw you out! How can they call themselves your family, it's honestly disgusting" Bobby snapped.

Leni looked up and smiled a little, " I'm scared, I've never been on my own but I'm not going to be punished for something I didn't do".

Bobby digested Leni's words, he had never seen the blonde look so lost. What her family did was seriously messed up, did Lori really have everyone wrapped around her finger?

Having grown up in a tight family, Bobby was morally outraged that they would try to punish Leni for being honest. The thought of asking Leni to stay was floating around Bobby's mind, the only thing stopping him was Leni's relationship to Lori, his now ex girlfriend.

He could almost see Lori's face recoiling...

"Do you have a place to go?

Looking sheepish Leni shakes her head, "Lori's already bad mouthed me to our shared friends, it was pretty nasty".

Swallowing his reluctance Bobby asked point blank, " Do you want to stay here?...for now until your able to find a place".

Bobby worded it as to not sound like a creep, Leni's face lite up and the blonde looked thoughtful, " if it's not a problem, I've got my part time job at the mall so I can help play rent".

Nodding his approval Bobby, told Leni they would talk more in the morning. It being almost twelve ment Bobby was exhausted since he worked yesterday, Leni also looked tired but tried to stay cheerful, " I'll be a great roommate Bobby, you won't regret it".

Grabbing the quilt off his bed Bobby tried to make his couch comfortable, Leni waved him off with one hand.

" this is good Bobby, your doing enough for me just by giving me a chance"...

Shaking his head Bobby replied, " your my friend Leni, not a burden. I want you to be here, we'll talk more about the specifics in the morning".

Leni looked like she was going to cry but she surprised Bobby by hugging him, the blonde came up to just below his chin ( Bobby was 5,8). The warmth from the hug seared through Bobby's senses, it was just what he needed after today...

Leni pulled away slowly and picked the quilt up from the couch, " Good night".

Bobby forced himself to return the pleasantries, reluctant to leave Leni alone. Leni had clearly set her boundaries and Bobby needed to respect them...
