Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadows of the Force. Enjoy the 5000-word chapter. I don't own RWBY and Star Wars. Monty Oum, Lucas Films, and Rooster Teeth do.
(Venator Class Cruiser, Trailblazer, Remnant 5:40 PM November 13th.)
Lerek looked at Blake before he rolled his eyes, the movie was still at least 20 minutes from ending from what the timer next to the holoprojector stated. He smiled to himself, all too curious, all too interested in what to do next. There was a lot more to the game than what had been said. It had shown them wasn't going to be over anytime soon. They had so much more to do, so much more to say.
Yet? He wasn't going to focus before he questioned now. What he had been done and dusted for what had been done and dusted. He prepared for the best if he seemed to be all too ready for this, all too unsure if anything how this would go and how he'd stop it.
Blake was a very odd woman who had caught his eye. If anything? He was too unsure of what she'd do to stop him before now. He questioned what would be done before now. There was a lot more to focus upon. There was too much for him to focus on for now and he and she knew it.
Yet he couldn't afford to let it get in the way if nothing else. He was perhaps a focused little thing. He had to be to deal with such a topic on such short notice.
Yet all he could think about was the Faunus woman leaning into his side. It had been a weird little thing, something he didn't expect to be over anytime soon. He didn't expect the film to change, the idea had been so odd and yet had been thrown off by what he felt he was doing.
He looked at Blake who had half-lidded eyes, her eyes too heavy with sleep to realize what was going on. She kicked her foot out as a feline would have if they were tired and stretching which only told him how deep the Feline DNA had seemed to be inside of her. It told him a lot more about her when it came down to it. The entire move told him just how much this was going to be.
He snorted, his eyes slowly starting to roll backward before he seemed to question what to do next.
Yet? He had a lot more to question for the time being. Namely? How he felt towards her. He had been curious about his own emotions toward the woman. His mind couldn't seem to understand what he felt towards the Faunus woman. It had been a while for now as it seemed to question what to say next.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Blake heard as Lerek nodded to himself before he sighed and looked around. "You're being weird," Blake stated which Blake seemed to honestly question before now.
Lerek sighed to himself before he questioned what to do next. Yes, it'd be a lot more interesting as of now. Whatever this was to be? It'd be a lot more to question before as of now.
Whatever else happened next? It was oddly to be done and dusted for the time being. Blake was a weird woman which made him a lot more curious as to what this woman was to be for now.
"No, just thinking of something to come for the time being… And how it could work." Lerek said before he sighed to himself.
That was for another time. He didn't much care for it at all. The idea had been something weird, yet he could move on from it as of now. This would be something for the history books. Whatever came next before it was all decided would be odd for this was all decided for now. It was to question before when this came to it.
Lerek hummed as of now. He had been oh so tired for now. It was a lot more as of now. It would be a weird little part of what had been coming next for their life.
She cuddled up to him, her body seeming to tilt itself in place as if looking for it to end when all of this was said and done. He had a lot more things to focus on than whatever came next.
He wrapped another arm around her, his lips letting out a yawn as he tilted his head at her, his half-lidded eyes becoming halfway closed before now.
Blake let out a little yawn before she snorted, tired and eager to rest despite knowing that Lerek would claim he was right about her exhaustion. If anything? All it did was make sure that he was as exhausted as her. He was in an odd rut where neither of them could honestly care. Both desired sleep regardless of how it had come and who was around them at the end of the day. He was exhausted past the point of caring. If nothing else happened, they would sleep. That was all that had been done to properly question for the time being and how this would end for
Yet? He seemed as of the second. Whatever before now. Well? Questions for another time. He was tired.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Blake questioned to which Lerek rubbed at his chin.
"Yes, just a bit threw off." Blake heard from Lerek as he sighed and seemed to be curious.
Blake continued to yawn, purring and tilting her weight into the side of her protentional boyfriend, there was no real idea behind this, nothing that hadn't yet been considered before now. Their timing couldn't have been more perfect, their plans couldn't have been more prudent.
Yet? She didn't care. She was comfy. She had more on her mind to deal with, and she had a lot more to their tale that had yet to be revealed. She knew that their move wasn't yet revealed. They had to be done with this sooner or later when it seemed to be prepared.
Blake kicked her feet back and forth, curious about what would come next. It'd be an odd little thing for now. It had been a weird little thing for now. She leaned on Lerek's side before she seemed to question what had been this seemed to be peaceful.
Lerek wrapped an arm around Blake's side, all too unfamiliar with what to do next. It came down to a lot of things that need to need to be addressed sooner or later. He'd be able to question what to do next.
Blake was a weird woman and leaned backward, purring, her feet curling up around her as she tilted her head, unsure of what to do next or not simply not caring. It didn't matter yet when this was all done and dusted. He had way too much to understand before what it seemed to be.
She tilted her head, looking at his milky eyes, unsure of if he tilted his head and glanced at her, humming to his amusement at the smaller Faunus woman. She flicked her ear at him, tilting his head while he rolled his eyes at her.
He was understandably amused, tilting his head while humming while he leaned back at the wall. He hummed, smirking at her, preparing her to become a quiet woman. He understood the amusement in this was making him laugh, the sheer enjoyability of the method. This had become an awkward thing, but it wasn't like they cared, he was far more amused than anything that had yet been questioned for now. This idea had yet to resonate inside his head, to cause a problem.
Still? He had more to question, more to ask the spirit who had decided this was the path they were to walk.
Yet part of him questioned if the spirit had set this all-in motion for some reason. Blake yawned to herself and tilted before he hummed while she tilted her head before she questioned what to next for now. He yawned as well, showing her just how thrown off this had made him, just how thrown off this was.
She yawned, her body curling inwardly more. It seemed more as if she wanted the warmth given by the Arkanian. The side of the Jedi Knight was comforting, it drew her close before she yawned, tilting her to the side before she questioned what to do next before now. There was a lot more to focus on sooner on whatever their people did… Even if it was in vain.
Part of Lerek wondered what the Faunus were like. What were their people like in such odd and mysterious manners that this had been delivered onto them in such a way? What secrets did they and this planet have to share with the Republic?
Hell, what would they even allow the republic to have? He knew Obi-Wan would handle it, but he still had doubts.
He still wanted this to be over with before long, there was so much to rebuild back home… But then again? His people wouldn't care. They'd scour the lands, unsure or probably just uncaring for now what had been done and what could be used by themselves to enhance their world. They had so much tech, but using Dust and their resources? He shuttered to think what his people would
He was going to be tired for a lot longer than he had been before. There was so much exhaustion going on and he'd be damned if he was one of those tired people just as well, he had been unwilling to do something, unwilling to back down just because she wished to have his amusement. She wanted it so weird that it confounded him to his core when it was all done and dusted, unsure of the next move he made, what more when it came down to it. He was all too mightily unwillingly prepared for worse.
There was always a worse, always, it came down a lot more to their decisions and how anyone would prepare for the worst when their moves were done more than this was questioned before now. He seemed ready for nothing more than their best efforts.
Still? it wasn't like Lerek was entirely thrown off by this, he had been a Jedi, and situations like this came with the territory of being a Jedi. He wasn't exactly thrown off by this and yet it seemed as if the idea had been there for now at the second. What little he did know was that this was going to be a weird little interesting.
Blake glanced at him. The two had been put in a weird position by this. If someone had found them like this? There were a lot of questions that had been more awkward than interesting before now.
Still? What seemed to question as of them now before now. He had been a lot more to do now.
Blake leaned into his side still. It wasn't as if she had to care much for now, what had been having been done. If her friends wanted to judge her? They could, she'd mess with them when she saw them again.
Lerek simply rolled his eyes and looked at the question before it handled what to do now. Lerek had honestly been prepared for what came next.
"Does this movie even have any story?" Lerek questioned before Blake nodded before it seemed to honestly come next. "This is a weird problem for now. Are you going to be ok" Blake asked to which Lerek nodded as he did so?
He rolled his eyes while he seemed to look out the door. It had been a very odd problem for them to handle at the time. What happened when someone did find out at the end of the day? it'd be a weird little solution to their problem if someone did find out.
Still? that was something he had been willing to mess with at the end of the day. he knew more than she what had been the problem, what they'd probably say sooner or later. It wasn't as if they had any problems with this. The idea had been weird in his mind and it would remain that way, but he had little to know care for now. He was a Jedi; they could yell at him for now. It had been something he couldn't deal with for now.
Blake only seemed to lean more into his side as the movie slowly drew to a close. It only made him snort as the credits started to play.
"Any other movies you want to force me to sit through at the moment?" Lerek questioned with a smile as Blake rolled her eyes and picked out another one.
It'd be a while before sleep took the duo. It wasn't exactly the weirdest thing he had dealt with.
(5 hours later)
Blake awakened to a quiet room and an odd warmth next to her. She turned to notice that Lerek had fallen asleep, at least one of her arms near his shoulder as she blushed before rolling off the bed.
She glanced around the room, Lerek's datapad had a message on it from someone who told her that there was news on it. Still? She had been curious as to what it meant and what she needed to do.
Blake poked Lerek to which the Arkanian blinked as she frowned to question what she had done here.
Still? She was all too curious as he woke up, questioning what to do next as he yawned and looked at her.
"Blake? What are you still doing here?" Lerek questioned before noting the datapad. "Huh? There's a message here from Master Kenobi and Senator Organa… Something about asking Drifter to investigate a Separatist ship located on an island off the coast? Huh?" Lerek stated to question before it seemed to handle for now.
He seemed to question before now as to what to do and what to question now. Lerek tapped at it for a moment before he seemed to tap at it once more while he tilted his head to the side. He tilted his head before he questioned while he sighed while he clicked his jaw.
"Well, that, and Senator Organa requested that Senator Amidala come to help smooth over relationships and iron out the kinks in the deals," Lerek said while he snapped his fingers.
Still? What he did next would probably be a lot more insane problem in the end. Yet he was honestly curious for the moment and what would come next.
"Hey, you wouldn't want to go help this mission for us?" Lerek stated to her as she rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Sure, if only because I handle stuff like this now at the moment." Lerek heard as he rolled his eyes at her.
He knew the answer to it already. Whatever happened next would be a small little dance compared to the future, there were going to be more problems.
He looked back at her before he tapped on the scroll, knowing more droids would be a problem for now. he knew the idea that the problem was going to be done and dusted. The small little thing was always over.
He seemed to tap at his datapad, he seemed to prepare for what to do next. Blake was probably going to be coming alongside him sooner or later.
Yet he had a guarantee that more droids would come, more battles, more of a clash of their ideals. He didn't want to fight, not against a problem he might not be able to stop.
"Blake, can you remind me to talk to General Ironwood? I need to make a call if you want to get… Ready for the mission, I'm going to go get ready soon, I'll meet you down in the hanger?" Blake heard Lerek ask as he forcefully pulled the holodisk from his nightstand over to his hand, curious as to what he could do next.
(Present day)
2 more clones collapsed with a blast through their armor. Lerek turned to look at the 2 Clones and sighed with a frown to himself. Lerek was quick to slash both B1s into scrap for this as he looked around before he ducked back into cover, all too sad and used to it.
Still? it had been odd how easily the Atlesian Military was able to land units, but it seemed as if he and his men had managed to dig into the land. Lerek also noted that more droids had seemed to be shooting over the hills which told him that they had all been engaging Blake and many of the Atlesians.
"General, their air units are launching!" Lerek heard as he turned to look before he blinked, interested in what this would be.
"Hmm…" Lerek stated before he noted there were true there were at least 3 HMP gunships. "Take cover!" Lerek yelled before he frowned to hum to himself.
A barrage of missiles opened fire and burned the land in front of them. The clones and Lerek scattered, at least 2-to to 3 being thrown like toys into the air before the second… Whatever had been done to stop them here had been working, but it could not last. Nor would it sooner or later.
The very basic idea that this would lead to the chaos wasn't lost on the young Arkanian. He knew more than anything that would be done before now. They had the battle to win and his mind had to be on the battlefield. This had to be done before something terrible happened and thereafter they were all brutally killed in combat with the enemy.
Then again? That would probably be them dead sooner or later when this was all said and done. The basic idea it could all come to pass sooner or later at this rate and none of them would be happier if they dealt with it here.
"Drift? Are you and Blake ok on your end? We're pinned down by a pair of gunships, I'm calling in fighters for backup." Lerek stated before he switched frequencies. "Admiral, I need a fighter on my location, we are pinned down by droid air support," Lerek stated as he cursed at the enemies.
"Noted, General. We're dealing with the Separatist fleet at the moment… Atlesian troops seem to be inbound to the center of the Island. I'm passing along news to General Kenobi and Senator Organa at the moment." Lerek heard as he hummed.
He nodded to himself, curious when it came down to it when it was all said and done what had come this way. He knew for a fact that there was some motive in front of their reinforcements.
"Thank you, Admiral. I'll see you back on the Trailblazer." Lerek stated before he rolled his eyes and sighed to himself and glanced around.
He sighed before now as of the second while he spun his lightsaber in the palm of his hand, it had been a weird little thing for them to deal with, one which couldn't easily be torn down at the end of the day to be there and handle it. The problem with this would be a lot worse if left unchecked.
He watched as more Vulture Droids mobilized, this base was far more than a recon post. He needed to know what was going next before now. The rest of the mission was changed, he knew for the second what this seemed to be.
He needed that data from their nerve center and he knew that if he, had it? he'd understand what Ventress's plan was going to be for now.
He looked at the rest of the clones and ushered them forward. He'd bury the clones when this battle was over with. It seemed to be worse when it was all done and dusted.
(With Blake and Drifter)
Blake decapitated one of the B1s and then turned to see Drifter finish off another with a headshot and turn to look at her.
"Seems your as good as the general, Ms. Belladonna. You're making me impressed more than the general usually does." Drifter added to which Blake shrugged, a bit thrown off more than she usually was.
There were more droids here than there were in Atlas. The enemy was probably a lot more numerous when it was interesting… What had been so much of a problem they needed an entire army? If the clones were that much better an army, than them? How many droids did they have? The idea was a lot more chilling and sobering than it seemed to question what to do before now. It was a lot more of a problem. What she did next. She hummed, curious as to what to do to solve this problem and how to handle it for now.
These concerns were thrown off as a pair of LAATs started to land in the clearing. There was going to be a blood bath and she knew it.
Drifter seemed to question what to do next. She was a lot more to handle before now. His commlink beeped which told him that the commander had contacted him before he tilted his head and answered for now.
"Are you going to go?" Blake questioned before Drifter stayed silent, holding up his hand to question. "Is he there?" Blake questioned to which Drifter hummed.
She knew for a fact there was more to this than he expected. Drifter answered a moment later, his real interest in the device on his arm.
"Drifter? More droids are deploying and I'm taking some men inside, how are you and Blake?" Drifter heard before he hummed.
"Fine, general," Drifter responded which he knew was probably a lie. "We're going to lock down the island. Me Id a squad spotted an airfield near the center of the island, probably going to be what they regroup at… I'll leave the assassin to you and Ms. Belladonna, general." Drifter said before he turned to Blake.
"General's going to need backup. He's not the most tactical guy when he gets going and it isn't like we're in a position to help." Drifter said before he turned to his men. "I'll deal with the last of the clankers and report to the Senator and your professor, get inside," Drifter ordered before he hummed, interested in what the droids wanted to do next.
The next move was obvious, it'd always be obvious to them. They'd attack the and the republic would crush them. The only problem was the fallout of this battle and what was to come next.
Still? There was a lot more move before now when it came down to it. He had to be ready for now at the end of the day. He was a lot more focused on this when push came to shove. If anything? There was more to this than it seemed to have been when it was all done and dusted if anything else.
He was prepared for the worst. That was all that could be done at the end of the day. What was to be done when the nightmares ended? What would become of their work if not for their actions today?
Still? He would not be able to focus on this when push came to shove. There was only so much he could do to prolong their victory.
"Drifter? When are you done? Pull your men back to a safe distance. I'll call in air support and I don't want you to get blown up in the crossfire, but there's no way we're going to get in without some big guns." Lerek ordered before he sighed, unsure of what to do when push came to shove at the end of the day.
Lerek knew their army wouldn't be able to handle this alone, the idea that they would be a problem beyond anything when all of this was done and dusted. They could only push the envelope when it seemed to come down to it.
"And when the backup gets here, sir? I and the boys don't like the clankers Atlas has." Drifter stated to which Lerek hummed.
He knew the clone officer didn't like Atlas for a good reason. It was part of what was in his bones if anything? This was what Drifter was good at when it came to it. There was a lot more to prepare himself for now when this was done with when it comes down.
Maybe it was still part of a good thing when all of this came to this move. Lerek was going to be done and dusted before he questioned before he seemed to be ready for when it was over.
"Roger, General. We're headed back to the Trailblazer before something goes wrong… I'll make sure that a few men stay around to handle this, though." Lerek heard as he rolled his eyes.
(With Lerek)
Lerek was forced to roll to the side, a Vulture Droid ripping apart every single little piece of land that was behind him. The machine circled as Lerek tried to reach up his hand to grab it with the force.
He was forced backward with more gunfire, unsure of what to do next. They certainly weren't making it fair for now. Well? They were droids, it wasn't exactly as if there was a single thing that came close to what the Republic had besides outnumbering every single little person which meant the Clones were still better soldiers than anything the enemy could throw at them for now. He was simply unsure of what would be brought up if this was done and dusted… Wasn't exactly like they could do before now.
He questioned if they were just too cheap to do anything regarding the idea of their military winning… If anything? It was something that had to be done and dusted either way.
Lerek sighed before surging forward into the next group of droids what it seemed to handle before now what to handle next. Lerek slashed the droid next in half before he sighed before now.
Lerek was unsure of what to do next before now what to do. Lerek had been preparing for the idea that Atlas had come here, unsure of whatever came next. There were still problems before now, but he seemed to prepare himself mentally before now.
He shook his head and cut another B1 in half before pushing the droid to the side before he was unsure what to handle before now.
(With Blake and Drifter)
Blake surged across the field, cutting one of the B2s in half and kicking a B1 in the face hard enough to shatter it. She rushed up a hill before looking down to see Lerek impale the last of the B1s.
"Spread out, check the rest of the building. There are a lot more droids down below." Lerek said while he frowned, unsure of what the droids would do. "Hmm. We need to focus on whatever we do next… I need a Y-Wing escort over this area. We need to make sure none of them get out… And I'll shut down the base. Lock the area down, I'll deal with their commander." Lerek hummed before he sighed.
"Hey, forgetting something?" Blake questioned as she turned around and looked at her with interest.
Lerek stared at her as the Faunus leaped down and stood next to the Arkanian while he looked down at the droid base.
"Nope, but I might need some help," Lerek said before he pointed down at the base with his saber. "Their boss is down there. Real angry woman with 2 of these sabers… Lots of anger issues." Lerek joked as he sighed, rubbing at his head.
Blake nodded to him both glanced at the door in front of them. There were a lot more droids down below and he knew it. He also knew there were more of them to properly defeat.
And Lerek knew Ventress was still as powerful as they came. She wouldn't let someone easily stop her or the will of her master… Which meant he was going to need more power to properly upon. He had a lot more pondering for now. He questioned what to handle.
"She's a lot more dangerous than the droids, Blake." Lerek hummed before he seemed to question before he tilted his head.
"Then that's why you need backup?" Blake questioned to which Lerek rolled his eyes.
"No, I just wanted someone to see me beat them properly," Lerek stated to which Blake only rolled her eyes herself.
He and she slowly descended into the depths of the island, leaving wreckage from droids and slain clones before now what he questions before now. There was a lot more to handle when they dealt with this was a lot more to question as of now. He prepared for now what to prepare for.
If anything? He knew what she'd be up to if nothing else. He had a lot more problems than just dealing with her, however. He knew Ventress was not a joke as her minions were to be. If anything? She was far stronger. Something he assumed Blake also noted if anything. They had a lot more practice down here where this seemed to be before now. If anything? He was going to need her help to be a problem when all of it was to be over with.
If anything? He knew more than her what was coming and he wasn't going to let her problems bother anyone. He didn't want to, nor did he wish to see her facing off against the enemy.
He was too tired to complain about her help, too interested in what to handle and what the woman was going to handle he does if anything else went wrong.
