Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadows of the Force. Enjoy the 6600-word chapter. I don't own RWBY and Star Wars. Monty Oum, Lucas Films, and Rooster Teeth do.
(Venator Class Cruiser, Trailblazer, Remnant 12:30 PM November 14th.)
Lerek was silent on the gunship ride back to the cruiser. Blake looked at the Arkanian who seemed a lot deeper thought. He hadn't spoken for a few seconds to the point where Blake wondered if he had gone mute for now.
"General? The data is being sent to the Trailblazer; all the techs are busy sweeping the computers. Say they're going to need at least 2 hours to get all data sent." Drifter reported to Lerek as the Arkanian hummed, rubbing at his temples as he did so.
Lerek could only question before now. There was a lot more to focus on before he hummed as of now. He hadn't the proper idea before now, there was only something pestering him.
Lerek questioned before he seemed to be over with this. He hadn't yet pieced together Ventress's motive for what Dooku wanted with the island. There were holes all over the place, all the way over the place. It didn't make a lot of sense for now, but now? Lerek looked at Blake before he questioned before now.
There was a lot more to question before now. He still questioned before now what the next problem was. There was something else to handle.
"Drifter? Get some rest. There's no telling what they do next and I don't want anyone to pass out or feel worn down, ok?" Lerek questioned as the soldier nodded. "Blake, do you want to go back to Beacon? I can have a gunship ready in a few minutes if you need." Lerek stated to which Blake was silent.
She didn't know what to question. The woman they faced reminded him somewhat of Adam. The man was driven by hate and fury, a need to kill and destroy his foes just as she did. The idea of what would happen if the White Fang had expendable droid soldiers like that was… Terrifying for Remnant.
"No, I don't think Professor Ozpin needs me back at Beacon yet," Blake said before she frowned, looking around the room. "But I need to make a few calls if that's ok? Can I get back to my room and talk with you in an hour?" Blake questioned as Lerek nodded.
"Take your time. I'm sure Master Yoda is going to want to tell me more about the mission he needs from me, though." Lerek said before the gunship landed. "Drifter? After the sweep is done? Get your men back for some rest. Just because your soldiers don't mean you have to spend all day being on the job." Lerek said as Drifter chuckled.
"That mean me and the boys can play a game of Pazaak?" Drifter asked with a cheeky smirk.
"Just as long as you don't bet all the damn credits away," Lerek said before he smirked back. "You boys aren't expendable; you don't need to act like it. Remnant might not be that explored, but we don't need to keep marching around like someone is going to die." Lerek added before he and the others exited the craft as of now.
Lerek hummed before he questioned what their enemy was doing. There was only so much the Arkanian could have said, for now, a lot more and a lot less. He hadn't the patience for anything less.
"Hey, Blake?" Lerek asked as the Faunus slowly started to walk off. "Thanks for backing me up. I don't think I could have fought Ventress alone. She's a lot more dangerous than she looks and she fights a lot dirtier than I'm used to, she would have ripped me apart." Lerek said as Blake nodded.
"You're welcome… That's a Sith, though? They look like Jedi with red lightsabers." Blake said to which Lerek chuckled.
"I'll explain what I can on the bridge. You go make your phone calls and I get you when I need you." Lerek said before he turned to Drifter. "Drift, can you tell the Admiral I need to talk to him at the moment?" Lerek stated before he sighed before he questioned now.
There was something on the second. There was a lot more to focus upon and he couldn't afford it now. He hadn't time to dawdle and the last thing the Arkanian wanted was to keep the Jedi Grandmaster waiting.
He and Blake both proceeded towards the turbo lift as he mulled over his options. He could tell them about Blake which would probably happen anyway, he probably should have reported the fact that Ventress had been engaged and his past few weeks. If the republic was formally established a foothold on Remnant? He had his duties as one of the generals of the Republic army and his duties as a Jedi to be ready to do what both the Jedi Council and Galactic senate asked, he sighed as of now.
He hadn't the proper idea before now that his duties were easy or harder than what he had been through before now. There was a lot more on his plate and a whole please of problems that hadn't been properly entertained.
Still? He couldn't afford to back down in the face of those odds, not even for a second. No, he had to soldier on as worse consequences awaited him if he didn't temper himself properly. That couldn't be allowed to happen, not here, not even a little bit. No, this all came to a close sooner or later.
He sighed and rubbed at his head, clicking his fingers against his body as he did so. Blake noticed that he was a lot shyer than he had been a few seconds ago. Something had put him on edge and she would know later, but not now.
The lift ascended towards Blake's floor as Lerek almost questioned if the girl had chosen to live aboard the cruiser now. he had heard from Drifter she did still take a shuttle back to Beacon now and again so he knew that Blake wasn't falling behind on being a student, but she seemed to be here more and more often.
Still? He questioned what was coming next as the Arkanian was tired and interested before he sighed to himself, all too tired as of now.
"I'll send someone to come get you when I need you," Lerek said to which Blake nodded before he pressed the button. "Ask if you need something… But I would be polite about it, everyone has it rough." Lerek stated before he sighed to himself.
Lerek watched as the door closed and the lift slowly started to climb towards the bridge before he hummed to himself. he hadn't the idea to which there was something else at the time being.
Lerek rubbed at his temples as the lift reached the bridge and he slowly marched out onto the command deck. There were still people all over the place who had been all too willing to question what was coming next. There was a focus upon now as he honestly started to dwell upon facts.
Ventress had retreated as she usually did and she made no effort to disguise the fact that a CIS base had been planted off the coast of Vale. That either told him that Ventress had bad, she was probing their defenses and there would no doubt be another battle down the road… Or She had been sent to Vale for a purpose.
He sighed and placed his hands on the console and thought back to when he and Blake were getting prepared.
(Movie night, 1 minute after call)
Lerek blushed as he woke up. Blake was silent as she looked at him, a blush slowly spread across her lips, there was a lot more for them to question. She was silent as the Arkanian slowly pushed himself away before he looked up at the ceiling.
He hummed before he sent her weapon flying towards her. Blake only made him question what to handle next. He tilted his head before looking up at the ceiling.
Blake pulled her boots over her feet and then turned to see Lerek offer her Gambol Shroud. It felt so odd to see her with such a thing which told her that she hadn't the right idea as of now.
She gripped the weapon as Lerek gripped his lightsaber and pulled it onto his belt. There were a few seconds before he spoke.
"So… Did you enjoy the movie?" Lerek questioned, raising an eyebrow to which she nodded. "Good, maybe we can watch another movie." Lerek hummed as he gripped his holodisk and placed it on his belt.
"So… About what happened…?" Blake questioned to which Lerek hummed, looking around as he did so.
"It's a thing that happened," Lerek said while he shrugged, looking around and cracking his fingers. "Why? What do you ask?" Lerek said before he hummed.
He knew it was awkward and he didn't wish to bug the Faunus nor did he wish to have that sort of thing on his plate. There was only so much he could focus upon and this was something they could address a little later if nothing else.
Yep, all they needed was time and effort. Something both had in abundance. Lerek laid down on the bed, looking at Blake for a moment as the Arkanian and Faunus shared a look for the second. This didn't seem to be what he had intended, but it was what happened all the same,
"What happened, happened, it isn't like we hate each other. It wasn't like we did something terrible. There was just us nuzzling up." Lerek said while he looked at Blake. "What did you want to say? There will be time for a lot of talking when we get back… If you want to talk about something now?" Lerek questioned before he sat back, explaining what to do next.
"That's, cool, but it isn't like we don't have time to relax and talk now. We still got a mission to do." Lerek said as he slowly climbed to his feet.
Blake nodded and looked at the door as Lerek used the force to slide it upon for a few seconds as he and she vanish through it and the door slammed shut behind them. There was a lot more to discuss and Lerek knew they'd have to explain sooner or such. Yet? Well, both of them were able to relax.
Lerek hummed before he tilted his head, cracking his fingers before he spoke once more.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Lerek questioned before he tilted his head before he understood what else to do. "There's a lot more to speak about when we get back. We know that the mission comes first." Lerek stated before he sighed to himself.
He tilted his head, looking around the room. There was nothing on his mind besides the mission, nothing that could stop him if he set his mind to it. But then again? That terrified him, made him scared and unsure, and that worried him more than anything. It became an odd little thing and something that was out of his hands…
And he was scared he'd not be strong enough for such a moment.
He clicked his fingers, tapping them against one another as he did so. There was always more. He questioned what else was going to be done and dusted. There was no time to dawdle, but there was time to relax and time to act, and now? well, she needed time to relax and think, question what she knew and what she didn't know for now.
Lerek sighed, preparing for whatever questions she'd was something else as of now to question before he hummed before he questioned before on board with it. He needed Blake to be able to relax, to be able to trust him, but that was easier said than done, wasn't it? it was something fun, something he could relax up until more terrifying subjects came down the line.
He was too tired as of now. he wanted something he could sink his teeth upon now. He didn't know what else was coming at the time and what else he could look forward to when that was over.
Blake and he both set down on the bed, facing each other as both did so.
He looked at her before he yawned. He questioned what to do next, what Blake was going to be off-put for a while, and yet? He found some measure of peace within it, some measure of peace that didn't seem to have lasted for more than a few seconds. He didn't know what was going to happen, only that he was terrified.
This couldn't stand, nor would he have allowed it to have stood. There was a lot more to have questioned before today was done and a lot more was to be done.
Blake glanced at him, unsure of what was to happen next. She didn't know what was upon his mind, only that she knew he was as terrified as she was.
There would be more soldiers, more people coming to Remnant, all of whom didn't know much if anything about the planet. It didn't sit well with her, but it did sit well with her or anyone else, this could only well enough come to a head sooner or later.
All she needed was some time and effort to see it all come to a head, this was going to have been fun
(Present time)
Lerek seemed to hum, tilt his head, questioning what to do next. He slowly typed up something for now. There was a lot more to the idea he hadn't yet decided upon. Only did he manage to question for now.
Still? Blake hadn't yet focused before now. There was something else that too before now.
"Hmm. Master Zun, distracted you seem." He heard as he turned to see Yoda who came from the holodisk. "Separatists in Vale, yes?" Yoda questioned as Lerek hummed, tilting his head, there was something else on his mind.
Lerek sighed before he tilted his head, questioning what to do next. The Jedi Master seemed to gather his thoughts before he tilted his head, looking down at the ground before he seemed to find his voice.
"Yes. I'm sorry, I'm a little thrown off. There's so much to discuss." Lerek said before he pressed his comlink. "There's a lot more on the mind… Drifter? Can you get Blake and tell her to come up here soon? I need to talk to her." Lerek said while he tilted his head, sighing and glancing around the room.
There was such a silence in the room as the Arkanian questioned what would be done for now.
Lerek sighed and tilted his head. Lerek looked around the bridge before he slowly questioned what to do next. Lerek sighed and wanted more from the idea. He seemed to tilt his head while he wanted to hear what the problem was on his mind. He hummed, there was more to the idea. Yet? He seemed to be ok before the second.
"I'll bring her up, general. Give me some time to get her ready." Drifter stated to which Lerek rolled his eyes, tilting his head at this.
"Fair enough, commander. Fair enough. Take your time." Lerek stated before he sighed and looked up at the sky. He as of the question before he hummed as of now.
Lerek rubbed at his temples before he fell silent for a second. He hummed as he waited a second.
(2 minutes before)
Blake looked at the message for RWBY that she sent, her thumb hovering over the button for now. She sighed and sent it. then? She dialed up an old number and hit call on her scroll.
'Please send the homework here and tell Professor Ozpin I will be returning for 1 week of school…. I need to talk to Lerek for now.' Blake read mentally as she pressed send.
"Hi, this is Kali and Ghira Belladonna, please, we're busy. Leave a message." Blake heard as she sighed, her ears drooping down as she pondered what to say.
"Hi, mom… It's me, Blake. I know I haven't talked a lot over it. I've met some new people… And if I ever visit? There's someone I want you to meet, it's nice here." Blake said before she pondered what to have said. "I hope you and dad are doing ok so there's that. I love you guys so much, I'll talk to you after the tournament, tell dad I said… Hi." Blake said before she closed her eyes for a second.
Blake was interrupted by a knock on the door. It made Blake blink as the dial tone of the call.
"Ms. Belladonna? Lerek wants to talk if that's ok?" Blake hummed before the door was opened before she sighed.
Blake seemed to question what the Jedi would be like. But then again? She had spoken to her parents for now. Ok, she was ready.
Blake opened the door and stepped outwards. There was more to this than she expected. Blake hummed, and within seconds, she found herself being ushered into the turbo lift as she folded up her scroll and placed it into her pocket, questioning what awaited her.
When she finally reached the bridge, there was no shortage of clone republic staff. Blake wondered how much of the republic military were clones. A question as of now. There was a lot more to this little game.
She passed through the doors to be greeted by Lerek and a small creature no bigger than her knee. That had to be Yoda. She could see the creature's wrinkled skin pull as he looked at Blake, curious as to the girl's presence.
"Blake Belladonna, you must be," Yoda said with a respectful bow. "Told me about you, Master Zun has. Friend of his, you are, yes?" Yoda asked as Blake nodded.
"Yes, you must be Master Yoda, yes?" Blake said before he hummed, unsure of what to question before now. There was a pause for now.
"Yes, Yoda am I," Yoda said before he hummed and held out a hand as of the second.
Lerek hummed and stepped to the side to question before now, there was more on the line. She didn't know what else to do or how else to have done it, only for it to all to come crashing down sooner or later. There was more to this, a lot more, but it could end so oddly and so out of phrase for now.
Blake didn't know what to expect from the small man other than how odd he was. There were a lot more oddities perhaps Yoda was someone who had such puzzles. He spoke like he knew centuries' worth of knowledge but to her? That seemed as if there was something else upon the mind. He didn't know what else was questioned for now.
He didn't know what else was going to have been done before he questioned before this came down to it. He sighed as of the second.
This hadn't gone the way he expected it.
"Much fear and anxiety I sense from you, young one," Yoda stated before he pointed his stick at Blake. "Walk a very interesting path you do. Battling the dark side and many monsters, I see… Master Zun, your report, you have." Yoda said before Lerek nodded.
"There was a spirit that contacted and sent me here," Lerek stated while he started to pace back and forth. "Some kinda force spirit, it's old and powerful. I believe you might have known something about it… No offense." Lerek stated to which Yoda chuckled.
"Mmm… If ancient, this spirit is? Then find them, we must." Yoda said to which Lerek hummed before he nodded, looking up at the moment with interest. "Travel to Remnant, I will. Much interest in this world, there is… Continue your work, you must, assist Ms. Belladonna, you may, important, this may be." Yoda stated to which Lerek hummed, something that didn't go unnoticed by Blake for a few moments.
Lerek fell silent, unsure of what else was going to be handled next. He didn't know what was coming, only that this was going to be happening.
"I'll do what I can, Master Yoda, Ms. Belladonna has been keeping me on my toes," Lerek said only to be elbowed in the side as he smiled. "As so… There's someone I would like you to meet if you arrive, he's the headmaster of the school here. His name is Ozpin." Lerek said to which Yoda nodded, looking around as he did so.
"Speak to him, I will… Similar to me, Senator Organa has stated… Look forward to meeting him, I do know more about him." Lerek stated before he sighed, unsure of the time being. Lerek hummed as of now.
Lerek looked around, unsure of what was to happen, too uncertain, there was more to this battle for the time being. He needed to focus, focus a lot more upon whatever else came his way. There was something else coming and he didn't know as of now.
He questioned what else was happening, and how many clones were coming. How many Jedi would be upon this planet? The fact of the matter is he just didn't wish to have been focusing on such a thing. There was a lot more on his mind.
"Hmm. I guess Master Yoda took an interest in Remnant as well, there's going to be a lot of activity for now. it just makes me more curious." Lerek said as he tilted his head, looking his head, he was too decided on little details for this to come to as much of a head as Lerek believed it could have been something else.
He was tired and he needed to rest, he needed to focus, he needed to be ready, the longer that he waited? The more exhaustion that was going to sit in. he was bored, there was more to this game, a lot more and he wasn't entirely ready.
"Hey, you said you wanted to talk?" Blake questioned as Lerek hummed, looking over his shoulder for the time being.
"I don't know what's going to happen, you know." Blake heard as she went to raise an eyebrow. "I'm thinking about a million different things and it's scaring me. I don't know what Yoda is going to do… Sorry, thinking about it all. What did you want to talk about?" Lerek questioned as he raised an eyebrow, too caught off guard to think what else was going to have been over this, too far distracted on the moment.
Blake followed Lerek into the turbolift as he rubbed at his head, there was more on his mind than what little he had done. Yep, he was focused a lot more on what else he'd do more moment.
"I wanted to talk about before," Blake said as they proceeded towards Lerek's move.
"What about it?" Blake heard from Lerek as her ears twitched, of what else was going to have been done.
A few minutes later and Lerek and Blake were in front of Lerek's room, he punched the code in and was greeted by a very familiar room. He rubbed at his eyes, looking up at the roof as he pulled his Jedi gloves from his hands, turning to look over his shoulder at Blake as he repeated the gesture with his boots.
"You aren't bothered by it?" Blake questioned as Lerek went to speak. "I'm not mad… Just concerned, what happens next?" Blake questioned as she pulled her boots from her legs and plopped down upon the bed next to Lerek.
Lerek could say nothing as he considered how to respond for now. He was a lot more focused for now. A lot more unsure for now.
Lerek didn't know what was coming now or what else was for now. this was a lot more of a wild ride than it had been before now. She looked around before he hummed, unsure and not knowing what was going to happen next.
He sighed before he looked up at the top of the room, slowly sitting on the bed as he questioned what to tell her, there was more to focus upon when it came down to it. There was a lot more to question and a lot more to have done when it clicked the rest of the idea of now. This nightmare was something chaotic for now.
Blake sat down on the other end of the bed and kicked off her boots, looking at the Arkanian as he cleared his throat, looking over at her before he tilted his head, unsure of what may or may not come from the mouth of the Jedi Knight.
"You're not ok," Blake said to which Lerek shrugged and looked around the room. "Why act like nothing is bugging you? Something is, what is it?" Blake questioned to which Lerek hummed.
"I don't know what I was brought here to have done, this place is constantly making me doubt reality and twist and turn me all inside out," Lerek said to which he sighed, rubbing at his temples.
Blake kicked her feet up as she hummed, tapping the bed as she did so. She was at a loss for words as well when it came down to it. The very idea was bothering her and she knew very well the dance coming up. Well, that was going to eat her alive when it came down to it.
There was also the fact she didn't know what the White Fang was plotting. If this played out, how did she believe? well, there was a very high chance that she'd be watching Vale burn down to nothing.
Then again? Adam wasn't the sort, she knew he had forsaken a lot, but not that. Not a nothing little shred… If even of humanity he had left… If he had any, to begin with. Blake was beginning to think she didn't know anything about Adam, she didn't think there was anything left of the man, to begin with.
Lerek frowned, not sure what she had been up to, but not willing to say much of anything this was to be a monstrous illusion and one he didn't have for now. They had a lot more to offer when it was all over. He didn't know what fresh hell was coming, but he wasn't going to just walk into it alone.
Lerek was to perhaps focus upon smaller and better things. He knew Master Yoda was going to have been something else, he had been unable to fathom what it could or was going to have been, this monstrous waste of his time was just more and more. It boggled his brain for the time being just to have been here…. How badly this would have gone, what else was coming, where it came from… He just didn't know and that bothered him far more than what he wanted it to have been for now and how little this had been, it had been worse, it'd be handled, and yet? He was terrified.
Lerek pulled his datapad from across the room as Blake peeled off her socks and her bow, wiggling her ears as she folded her legs across the bed. It'd be a while before he managed to gain some semblance of peace for now. Not while all these thoughts rested inside his head, not while it hurt to breathe and cut deep into his brain. It hurt to breathe, it hurt to think and he was tired, too far within his mind for now, too far thrown off and unsure of his best options. He didn't know what to do.
She poked him with her foot as Lerek rolled his eyes, looking up at the roof with amusement.
"Always want to mess with me, don't you?" Lerek said with a chuckle, looking around as he did so. "I'll have to talk to Professor Ozpin, too unsure of what else to have done for now." Lerek said, rubbing at his temples as he looked around.
There were more of a few more problems to handle. This nightmare wasn't over yet, but it would be over soon. Too unsure of what to do next.
"Hey, if you're going to be silly? So am I." Blake stated to which Lerek hummed.
"Giant doofus." Lerek hummed before he rubbed his nose. "You know? It's nice having you around here, it's far too odd when nobody is around here." Lerek stated before he blinked.
"There's a lot more to have focused more upon. There's a lot more clones and Jedi coming to the city." Lerek said before he sighed, too tired. "Why the hell do they always throw more on my plate when it comes down to it," Lerek stated while he hummed, too unsure before it was over.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Blake questioned to which Lerek shrugged, prompting a kick from Blake as she. looked at him.
Blake rolled her eyes, sighing as she looked around the room, poking him a lot more as Lerek rolled his eyes, too unsure of her move or how she'd do something of a problem when it was all said and done. He wasn't able to focus as of now.
He rubbed at his temples, watching as Blake kicked her long legs back and forth. Unsure of what to do next. There was a lot more to handle before he sighed. He yawned, rubbing his eyes as he looked before he questioned what to do next. He wasn't unsure of what to do next. He wasn't able to focus as of now on what to focus upon before now.
He wasn't able to understand what to do next as of the problems. He didn't know what to do for now. This was something of an odd move, not sure what Blake was going to do next. She smiled; she didn't know was that would be an odd thing before now. He rubbed at his neck, rubbing at his eyes before he sighed as of the second and leaned backward.
Blake sat closer, making the Arkanian look at her as he tilted his head, he hadn't yet come down to it. He glanced at her, she was a lot more to have questioned, for now, such a thing was odd, yet it hadn't yet gotten to such a degree, they had had more to discuss for the time being. He didn't know what else that there was a lot more to have questioned, how else this would have done for now. He hadn't the proper training and ability. He had more to see and do. Something else for now.
He had a lot more to question as he clicked his fingers and looked at the woman who placed a hand on his thigh as he sighed mentally.
'This woman is going to be the death of me, ain't she? She's going to cut her way under my breath.' Lerek thought to himself with a sigh.
He hadn't the focus before he questions as of now. He hadn't the proper training. This wasn't going to be a lot more to question before he sighed, too unsure of said problem.
Still? he was happy to have her for it seemed to question before he was a lot more to this. He found himself smiling. He was able to get away before now. Such a thing before it was over. He didn't know what the right word was for this or even if this was the right thing to have done.
"Are you ok?" Blake questioned to which Lerek shrugged. "You seemed pretty shaken up when you were awake, you know." Blake teased as Lerek rolled his eyes at her and simply shook his head.
"You know, I expected a lot of stuff from you, just didn't expect you'd be able to afford something like that, you know," Lerek stated as he smiled before he questioned her.
"Yeah, well, I like sometimes driving you up a wall, you know, it's fun," Blake said to which Lerek rolled his eyes before she poked him with her foot once more, Lerek could only sigh in amusement.
"Never gets old, does it?" Blake questioned before he questioned what to do before he questioned before now.
Lerek was too amused for now, too thrown off before it came down with it was over. He was over to questioned before now. He hadn't the proper focus, the proper idea for now. There was a lot more on the mind, yet? He hadn't the ability as of this second. They hadn't allowed having been able to have gotten as far as he did. They had a lot more problems. Such a thing was odd and it had a lot odder ends when it was over.
Blake laid down next to the Arkanian as he seemed to have gotten it to their focus for now… Such small problems for now. He hadn't a proper idea of what was coming, hadn't a proper idea at all. It was just there, floating in the depths of his mind. He had such a nightmare upon it that it hurt to think straight for such a reason as of the time being.
It hurt a lot more than he could have considered. Then again? He had a lot more upon which he hadn't the problem. He was too unwilling to get involved. They had more and more and more on their mind anyway. Blake was tired and he was thrown off. He hadn't the proper idea of their idea.
Blake crossed her legs under her, meditating slightly as she gripped his hands, he blinked but went along with the gesture, too unsure. Still? He trusted her to a degree, she had helped him survive a fight he'd have probably died from, the least he could do was indulge her and make sure that such things were ok between them.
"You and the other Jedi meditate a lot, yes?" Blake questioned to which Lerek nodded.
"Yeah, we do it a lot to clear our minds. I don't do it a lot, there's a lot more I do, but going into minds? Yeah, not one of them." Lerek said to which Blake simply rolled her eyes.
"Great meditating skills, doofus," Blake said as Lerek rolled his eyes, too amused by this to have gotten to such a state. "Here. I can show you how to have meditated the way I used to have back when I was over in Menagerie." Blake said as Lerek rolled his eyes.
"Sure, great mistress of meditation." Lerek joked before he shook his head, unsure of what to say or even do as of now.
"You're a giant doofus," Blake muttered before she uncrossed her feet and pressed them to Lerek's. "Ok, close your eyes and push all your thoughts inward," Blake said to which Lerek rolled his eyes.
"Sure, just tell me when it starts working, Blake," Lerek said before he shook his head towards her, too unsure of what to tell her.
He knew she'd be up to something; she was always up to something; he just couldn't fathom what and how it worked into the plan. She wasn't going to let such a thing stop her, but she would have just thrown more curveballs at her and him.
Still? Such things had been an odd point, it wouldn't have been able to have been cracked anytime soon. There was oh so much that she could do, could say, it all blurred together toner or later. They had to find a way out of this sooner or later. Such problems hadn't yet been decided. They had more problems in the mind, but it was still somewhere within his mind that he had decided this could and would not stop him. it was all too hard to fathom, all too weird for him. He had fought monsters and slain armies, but these feelings didn't just die down. They didn't go away either and they were all eating at him slowly, yet surely. It was all too much for now. All far too much in his head that he didn't know what was coming, how this would end, how it would have gone… No, but he did know where it'd end sooner or later.
All that junk had to go somewhere and it was going to scare him if he was right about it all. It all had to get through her and find a place to find a home.
He closed his eyes, letting the calming peace and interest within his body slowly yet surely flow. He felt her… Aura, he believed it was called, he felt it was over him as did the living force within him, mixing. It made her feel as if something had been cutting through her… It was odd, very odd, but it felt at home here, unsure of what to have done.
She watched as his breathing slowed, almost making him gaunt, unsure, too focused more upon which he could have handled this, which he could have done…
Their energies began to mix, making her feel as if she was losing herself in whatever little vapid threshold of power, she had placed upon herself.
"Do you meditate often or am I just special like that?" Lerek questioned, an amused smirk on his face.
"Well, I don't know how many people you often do this with." Blake teased to which Lerek smirked, looking at her with a raised eyebrow.
"It depends, I don't get much of a chance to do this when it comes down to this. It's a hard thing to manage." Blake stated before she hummed, too unsure of what to have done next.
"Well, it doesn't seem as hard as you make it seem. I'm just dealing with the fact that you're constantly throwing me off. I don't know what your next move is going to have been something like this." Blake heard before his fingers cracked.
"If it was hard? I'd imagine the great general of the republic army wouldn't be able to pull it off." Blake teased as he chuckled.
"Eh, this is fun, I like messing with you. You don't pull your punches when it comes down to it. You never punch with anything." Lerek stated before he shook his head. "Anyway? I don't know what's going on anyway. I've never had to combine the force with someone's Aura." Blake heard as Lerek hummed.
"Yes, it's odd. I feel like I've been able to do this for a much longer time than I've done it." Blake stated to which Lerek shrugged. "You've ever felt energy like this when it comes down to it?" Blake questioned as Lerek shook his head, losing himself in the power.
"Not in this manner, no. Not really. Don't know why it feels like this, but it feels a lot better than I thought it might unwind." Lerek said before he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
