Looking back, I feel I can write this story in a much better way rather than just polishing it as it is. I am ending the Miraculous Times story in order to rebirth it as "The Power of Infinite Possibility" which will use much of this same story line but will (hopefully) fill in many of the gaps I left in the first version. The Power of Infinite Possibility - Prelude
With powers as intriguing as the Miraculous, some may think that all magic has its ties through that realm. It would be understandable for one to make that presumption. The truth, however, is far from such a theory. Much as the Miraculous grace us with their existence, so do other forms of magic that work in ways quite mysterious to the everyday person. When one is young, though, and falls in love, these possibilities are the very hope that keeps that love moving forward when the current reality is not providing the way.
The twin rings of the Graham de Vanily family hold just such a mystery. Legend has it that if the hearts of the two people wearing the rings are pure to one another, such purity may allow great power to unfold from within the rings themselves. Within one ring, the gift of many outcomes to suit the holder's needs in times that would otherwise seem futile. Within the other ring, the gift of of influence to captivate the attention of others to the thoughts, plans, and ideas of the holder. When holders are truly pure to each other, these gifts may overlap in the presence of one another, giving those loves an even stronger ability. These holders, when working together and in close proximity, may be granted the gift of infinite possibility.
