Chapter Sixty-Seven: Morning Madness

Katsuki woke up the next morning with a start. He'd been dreaming about being in bed with Aisla and making love to her, when a certain organ gave an unmistakable pulse. He sat bolt upright and pulled back the covers to make sure he hadn't done what he thought he had.

"Shit," he cursed when he saw the wet spot coating his shorts. He turned abruptly, an excuse ready on his lips, when he noticed the empty space beside him. He stared at the bed for a moment, trying to comprehend the situation.

A dream, he decided. Of course it was. Aisla wouldn't really want to be with him, not like that. How could someone as perfect and gorgeous as Aisla Haru want to subject herself to being with him of all people? The only reasonable explanation for his damp shorts was that he'd imagined the whole thing. The fantasy was his most vivid one yet, though. He could still feel the way her walls sucked him in and squeezed around his shaft. He recalled the way her face contorted with pleasure as he brought her to a climax, so sexy and alluring. He swore he could still hear her say those words, "I love you," as if she'd only just uttered them into his ear.

How could all of that have been a dream? At what point during the night had he fallen asleep? Maybe he'd never even left his room. Maybe Aisla never drowned, Katsuki never saved her, and they never found themselves naked in his bed. He must have spent the whole night past out on this bed. Aisla was probably furious somewhere right now, wondering why Katsuki didn't come pick her up like he'd promised.

"Aisla," he sighed, then reached over to grab his phone from the end table. As expected, there was a message waiting for him from Aisla. What did come as a surprise was the message itself.

"Good morning, Katsuki!" It read with a cheerful smiling emoji. "I slipped out early this morning just in case A. came looking for either of us. I was worried that he might show up at our doors, and didn't want you getting in trouble because of me. I'll see you at breakfast, alright?" She followed this up with a string of heart emojis that had him rolling his eyes.

He chose not to respond just yet since he wasn't really sure what to say. Instead, he sat the phone down and slipped from the bed. He wanted to shower off his disgusting morning mess before meeting her for breakfast. He was honestly kind of glad she hadn't been there to witness his humiliation. What would he have said about that anyway? There wasn't a good excuse for waking up with wet underwear.

He stepped into the bathroom and came to a grinding halt. Hanging from the towel rack next to the sink was Aisla's panties, the pale blue ones she'd worn the night before, the very ones he'd helped peel from her naked body in the shower. He remembered tossing them aside, but couldn't recall what happened to them after that. Aisla must have hung them up before she left that morning, but did that mean she'd purposely left them there? For what reason? They appeared dry enough from where he stood so she could have slipped into them for the short walk back to her room. She hadn't left them there…for him, had she? That didn't sound like Aisla. She wasn't the type of girl to leave behind her panties, and yet, the evidence was right there in the form of blue silk.

He snatched them from the hanger and held them in his hand, picturing Aisla's firm cheeks wrapped up in the silk, and the way her sex had been outlined so clearly when he'd peeked down at her in the shower.

You disgusting pervert, he thought as he balled up the panty in a fist and tossed it into the bedroom. He started the shower and stepped inside after shedding his boxers. He cleaned up quickly, both because he'd just showered that night, and because being in here reminded him of when Aisla had stood next to him, naked and dripping. He couldn't stand here thinking about that if he had any hope of squashing the threatening erection.

Katsuki finished up in the bathroom, then threw on a dark blue t-shirt and some gray shorts. He stuffed the offending panty into his suitcase after that, and decided he might as well clean the rest of the room while he was at it. It wasn't overly messy, but there were a few articles of clothing lying about on the floor that he quickly picked up and tossed into the bag. He never cared about keeping a clean room before, but then a certain blonde spitfire started spending so much time in there, Katsuki decided it was probably better not to subject her to a messy space.

Satisfied that he'd cleaned up everything, he pulled on some socks and sneakers and decided he was ready to go. His stomach grumbled as he made his way to the door to leave, reminding him that Aisla had mentioned breakfast.

Right, my phone.

He turned around and snatched his phone up from the bedside table so he could shoot Aisla a text on his way downstairs. He slipped it into his pocket and pulled open the door, then let out an embarrassing gasp.

Aisla stood there, eyes wide with surprise at his sudden appearance. His eyes scanned over her without permission, taking in every inch of her sexy body. She wore another pair of those tight black shorts and a white ruffle-sleeved top. The charm bracelet he'd given her hung proudly from her left wrist, and white sandals showed off her pretty feet.

"Katsuki!" she exclaimed breathlessly, the hand that had been lifted to knock was now clutched in a fist over her heart. "You startled me. I didn't know you were heading out already."

He shrugged. "I was hungry."

She smiled. "Good! I was worried you were going to be late so I came to check on you, but I guess you were already on your way!" He blinked at her for a long moment until her smile turned mischievous. "You forgot about the mandatory breakfast today, didn't you?" she teased, eyes sparkling with amusement.

He pouted. "No, I just didn't know about it."

Aisla giggled. "Mr. Aizawa told us yesterday morning before we started training," she reminded him.

Katsuki frowned as he tried to pull up the memory. He had a vague recollection of his teacher speaking to them, but he couldn't remember anything the pro said. "I was just testing you," he muttered unconvincingly.

Aisla laughed again and took his hand in hers. "Come on then, we don't want to be late, right?"

"Wrong," he said aloud before he could stop himself. He blushed. "I just mean…it wouldn't be so bad to show up…a little later?"

I can't believe I just said that…

Aisla's expression turned dark as understanding lit in those stunning blue eyes. "Oh? Do you want to…?" She stepped closer and placed a hand on his chest. Her eyes told him exactly what she wanted to do, as did the way her hands traveled farther up his chest until her fingers slid purposely over his nipples through his shirt. He blew out a heavy breath in response. "Kiss me, Katsuki," she whispered, fingers teasing, eyes fluttering softly, and lip clamped between teeth.

God help me.

He captured her mouth and kissed her fiercely. She moaned into his mouth as he pinned her to the wall, hands coming up to grip his hair and pull his lips harder against hers. He wanted to pull her into the room and strip her out of those tiny black shorts she wore and taste her bare skin. Memories of their night together made him bolder than he should have been, and when his mouth dropped to her neck—the only skin he could reach from this angle—he couldn't stop himself from pulling it into his mouth and giving a hard suck.

"Katuski," she gasped out, hand suddenly gripping the back of his hair tightly as if to force him to keep performing this action. He obliged with a slight rumble in his throat as he took more skin into his mouth and bit down, pulling a moan from deep within her throat.

"Ehem." Someone cleared their throat behind them, or maybe it was a creaky floorboard, Katsuki didn't care. Aisla's skin was like sweet honey, and the sounds he evoked with just his mouth was enough to make him— "EHEM," came another insistent voice.

Reluctantly, Katsuki tore his mouth away from her neck, pausing momentarily to take in the sight of her lust-filled gaze before turning to the intruder. His eyes narrowed on the dual-haired bastard standing there, eyes trained pointedly away from them as if he couldn't stand the thought of seeing their actions.

Good, Katsuki thought in irritation, don't ever look at my girl again.

"S-Shoto!" Aisla exclaimed, when she too finally noticed the other person standing there. "What are you—?"

"There's a mandatory breakfast happening downstairs," he said evenly, eyes shifting onto Aisla's pretty face but completely ignoring Katsuki. "Aizawa wanted to track you two down himself, but I saved him the trouble. Or rather…" His eyebrows rose at the space on Aisla's neck where Katsuki's mouth had just touched, "I saved you the trouble."

Aisla let out a nervous giggle. "O-oh! Well, I mean…we were just leaving!"

Katsuki swore the other boy smirked. "Do you want me to tell Mr. Aizawa I couldn't find you?" he offered.

"Oh, no that's okay!" Aisla stammered, anxiously twisting a blonde lock between her fingers. "Let's just all go down together."

Katsuki would rather do anything else, but he was trying to be good now, and picking a fight with his girlfriend's best friend wouldn't earn him any points.

Todoroki's words from a few months ago came unbidden into his mind just then.

"Are you willing to make an effort… For Aisla? Or is she not good enough for you?"

She's worth it, he thought as they stepped into the elevator. She's worth everything to me.

The rest of the class was already downstairs when Katsuki and his little group entered the room. It was set up in one of the event rooms with several tables already laden with various food dishes—Steamed rice, miso soup, grilled fish, tamagoyaki, and even more traditionally American dishes such as muffins, various meats, thick Belgian style waffles, and a variety of fruits and vegetables.

"Wow, it's so pretty!" Aisla swooned dramatically. Katsuki shared a look of amusement with Todoroki, then remembered he hated the guy and turned his attention back to Aisla.

"Of course you'd be excited to see a bunch of food on display," he teased, poking her cheek and making her giggle.

"I think I will enjoy a Belgian waffle," Todoroki mused.

"I want tamagoyaki!" Aisla exclaimed as her eyes scanned every table. "Ooh, or maybe miso! I haven't had that in a while! Oh, muffins!"

"Get one of everything," Todoroki suggested seriously.

She gave him a look of horror. "How dare you, I'll get fat!"

Katsuki snorted. "No, you won't! You weigh less than a cat, Aisla. Come on." He grabbed her hand and pulled her farther into the room, making his way to the start of the line where some of their classmates—and a few class B students—were waiting in line.

"Aisla!" Ashido appeared out of nowhere and threw her arms around her, forcing Katsuki to release his hold on her hand. "My poor darling! Are you okay?!" She pulled Aisla back by the tops of her arms to look at her with wide eyes.

Aisla frowned. "Yeah, of course, why wouldn't I be—"

"Shit," Todoroki cursed under his breath, stealing the attention of both girls in an instant. A blush colored his cheeks as he looked at Aisla with pleading eyes. "God, I'm so sorry, Aisla. I'm such a bad friend. I didn't even ask if you were alright after you fell in the pool!"

Understanding lit her features, then her own face turned bright red from embarrassment. "O-oh, right! I'm fine! There's nothing to worry about! Or be sorry about!" she added in Todoroki's direction. "Honestly, I'm totally fine! Katsuki took good care of me!"

Now Katsuki was the one to blush. All eyes turned on him now. Ashido's racoon eyes were wide, mouth open in shock like she knew what Aisla meant. Icy Hot was doing a fair job holding a poker face that Katsuki envied greatly at that moment.

"I just made sure she was okay," he mumbled evasively.

"Wow," said Ashido in astonishment, "I never thought you'd seal the deal with this one, Aisla."

Katsuki bristled at this. "THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY?!" He couldn't decide if he was more offended by the implication of her words or the fact that she'd said them aloud in front of everyone.

Aisla slipped her hand back in his and offered him a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Katsuki," she murmured. "Don't be embarrassed." She was smiling, but her eyes didn't reflect the expression. Instead, they seemed to be desperately trying to convey something to him. There was a pleading quality in them he could read as clear as each individual freckle on her nose.

Don't be embarrassed, she'd said. What she'd meant was, please don't deny me again.

He relaxed his expression and leaned down to kiss her cheek, then drew his lips over to her ear. "I'll never deny you again as long as I have breath," he whispered. A shudder passed through her, and when he pulled away, the concern had been erased from her expression, replaced with genuine happiness.

Thank god… He breathed a silent sigh. Don't look at me with fear in your eyes, Aisla. Remember what I said to you; remember that I love you

"Our turn!" Aisla trilled when the line finally moved to allow them access to the first table. Katsuki grabbed two plates and passed one over to Aisla, who smiled gratefully at him. Katsuki filled his plate with tamagoyaki, rice, grilled fish, and an assortment of fruit. He didn't feel like having vegetables for breakfast, but he added a few just so Aisla wouldn't do it for him.

Aisla got a small portion of the rolled omelete, a bowl of miso soup, and nearly every kind of fruit except for bananas. He'd almost forgotten about her dislike of them and wondered if it had more to do with the texture or taste. If it was the latter, then Katsuki wasn't going to eat his just in case the smell alone caused her to turn away from him.

"You don't like bananas?" she asked when he placed it back on one of the fruit trays.

He shrugged. "Not in the mood. I needed room for the apple."

They finished filling their plates just as Mr. Aizawa called the room to attention. Katsuki and Aisla, along with Todoroki, Ashido, and a newly arrived Pink Cheeked girl, all sat down at a table. It was already occupied with some of the class B riff raff, but fortunately Copycat and Lizard Girl were seated across the room next to the girl with huge hands.

"QUIET DOWN!" Mr. Aizawa snapped, getting their attention at once. The room silenced except for the clinking of metal on plates and the occasional cough or sigh.

"Thank you all for coming to this farewell breakfast," he continued dryly. "Vlad and I wanted to congratulate you all again on your success with your exams. We haven't had every student from both hero classes pass the end of term exams in years. This is a big deal, students. We want you to be proud of your accomplishments."

Murmurs of appreciation filled the room.

"Also," Mr. Aizawa went on, "you've all done remarkably well during this trip. Even when faced with difficult circumstances, you all pulled through and went Plus Ultra like true heroes would. You've shown Vlad and me, as well as your fellow students, that you can overcome your differences, your dislikes and stereotypes, in order to accomplish a common goal. It wasn't easy coming up with combos with classmates you didn't necessarily share anything in common with, but you all pushed past your limits and found a way."

Applause followed the end of his speech as Mr. Aizawa and Vlad gave swift bows before stepping down from the stage. They both made their way to the food tables as everyone else resumed eating and chatting.

"I'm so ready for this." Aisla practically salivated at the mouth as she stared down at her plate. "What should I start with?" she asked no one in particular.

"The miso!" Ashido chirped annoyingly.

"The egg," Todoroki said, poking Aisla's tamagoyaki with his chopstick as he gave her an amused smile. "This will get cold sooner."

Aisla wrinkled her nose. "Ew, cold eggs!"

Katsuki chuckled as she took a bite of her omelete, then started digging into his own food. It wasn't as good as Lunch Rush's meals, and it definitely paled in comparison to the French food, but it was still pretty damn good. Katsuki was just finishing his own omelete when Aisla suddenly peered over his plate.

"Katsuki?" she said. "Can I please have a bite of that rice?" She looked up at him with her long-lashed eyes and fluttered them dramatically.

He rolled his own and passed over the whole dish. "Go ahead, take as much as you want."

Her face lit up like he'd given her gold rather than some rice. She was just bringing a mouthful of rice to her lips, when someone suddenly plopped into the chair across from them, causing her to drop the bite right back into the bowl.

Dark eyes narrowed on the bowl. "Watch what you're doing, Miss Haru," Mr. Aizawa chastised, then cracked open his own chopsticks and began to eat like they weren't even there.

Katsuki thought it was kind of impressive how the pro could still manage to shovel food into his mouth with five of his students staring blatantly at his face. Even Katsuki would have been too anxious to eat.

Just as he thought that, his teacher's eyes suddenly shot up as if something had caught his attention. The steely gaze landed on Aisla, who was the only one staring pointedly at her food and not at the pro hero. "Miss Haru," he said, forcing Aisla to look up at him in surprise at the low tone. Katsuki watched his teacher's eyes narrow, then shift slightly down and to the right. He followed his gaze and stiffened.

Aisla looked, too, but she couldn't see what the rest of them were able to since the object of scrutiny was on her neck.

Run, Aisla, he silently conveyed. Run away right now.

"Do you want to explain what that is?" Their teacher asked, jabbing a finger in the direction of Aisla's bruised neck.

"She fell, sir,"

The save did not come from Katsuki or Aisla. Everyone turned toward the dual-haired boy who was casually stabbing a waffle with a fork. His expression was as unreadable as ever, and Katsuki was never more thankful to see that dumbass look than he was in that moment.

Mr. Aizawa turned his glower on Todoroki. "She fell, did she?"

Todoroki nodded. "Yes, sir. Last night, she fell into the pool. I thought you knew." His tone was carefully composed, though even Katsuki could hear the slight challenge in those words, as if he was accusing their teacher of something. You should know what's going on with your own students, it seemed to say.

The pro's expression hardened. "I see… I wasn't made aware of any fall, but I suspected something was going on when I saw Bakugo carrying Miss Haru through the lobby in a rush." His gaze shifted to Katsuki now. "What were you doing with her, Bakugo?"

Katsuki was still frozen, unable to convince his mouth to produce words. Even if he was able to form some semblance of thought, what the hell was he supposed to say? "I took her to my room and stole her innocence while the rest of you partied it up." He would definitely get expelled for that.

"The nurse," Aisla lied swiftly after a beat. Her sweet smile looked so genuine even Katuski almost believed her. When Mr. Aizawa's eyes narrowed on hers once more, Katsuki saw her give him a slow, fluttering blink like she was trying to compel the man. "He took me to the nurse, sir."

"And then I took her back to my room for a movie night!" Ashido piped in.

"It was an action/adventure," Aisla agreed easily.

Mr. Aizawa's glare never faltered as he shifted his gaze between his students, clearly not believing any of them for a second. "That doesn't look like a bruise you get from a fall," he argued, tone irritated and disapproving, maybe even a little angry.

"She hit the side of the pool pretty hard," came an unexpected voice from behind their teacher. The pro turned and caught the stupid gaze of Deku, who still had rice clinging to the sides of his mouth as he chewed. "I saw it happen. It was all my fault…" Deku sighed, though this reaction wasn't faked. That idiot had been the reason Katsuki had almost lost Aisla last night. The idiot's gaze turned to Aisla with pleading eyes. "I'm so sorry, Aisla! I didn't mean to knock you into the pool! I would have gone after you—"

"It's okay, Midoriya," Aisla said with a small smile. "I know it was an accident. Normally, I'm a very good swimmer, but…" She shrugged and gestured at her neck.

"But you…fell," Mr. Aizawa finished flatly, still not fully convinced.

Aisla gave him a dramatic expression of grief. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Aizawa!" she cried. "I should have been more careful! I didn't mean to cause you so much worry."

Katsuki hid a smirk as his teacher's eyes suddenly widened.

"H-hey, I never said I was—" he started, but Ashido cut him off.

"He was worried, wasn't he?!" she exclaimed with a look just as over the top as Aisla's. "Poor Mr. Aizawa! We should have come to find you immediately to let you know our little Aisla was okay! You must have been up all night stressing out!"

Their teacher's cheeks took on some color, but whether that be from embarrassment or anger, Katsuki couldn't say. "I wasn't worried!" he snapped.

Aisla's face fell and she let out a very convincing sniffle. "Oh… I see. You weren't worried that I could have died in that pool…"

"Hey, that's not what I meant either!" he protested, then let out a frustrated huff of air. "I just meant…ugh, never mind." He pushed from the table and stalked off, leaving his tray there in his haste to get away from them.

Once he was far enough away, Aisla let out a relieved breath and slumped in her chair. She let her head fall into her hands. "That was so close," she whispered.

"We got you, girl!" Ashido said encouragingly. "Don't sweat it; it happens to all of us, you know. Sometimes Roan—"

"I don't want to know!" Katsuki cut in before she could go off on some tangent about her boyfriend. He really wanted to get off the current topic as fast as possible, but couldn't seem to think of a damned thing to say! Everyone knowing they'd spent the night together was one thing, but having physical proof that he'd chewed on her neck was another thing. No one could even pretend it hadn't happened now, the evidence stood out like a sore thumb on her milky skin, announcing to the world that she was now the proud owner of a hickey.

Kill me.

"I don't think you would have been in too much trouble," Todoroki said to Aisla, "but I didn't want Mr. Aizawa to make you feel humiliated for something like that. You should be able to do what you want with your own body." Katsuki saw a blush spread over the other boy's cheeks. He cleared his throat before speaking again. "I mean…you're a capable girl and it shouldn't matter what—" He cut himself off with a groan. "Never mind…"

Aisla placed a comforting hand on his arm. "Thank you, Roki. I appreciate you coming to the rescue."

"Okay, but for reals," Ashido chimed in, "can we have a movie night tonight, Aisla? It'll be so fun! All the girls can come to my room!"

"Do it," Katsuki whispered in her ear, so low no one else would hear it. Aisla turned a pleased grin his way and pecked his cheek before telling Ashido she'd join her.

Fortunately, conversation fell to lighter topics as they continued eating breakfast, with no further mention of Katsuki and Aisla's morning escapades.

When the meal was finally over and they were permitted to leave—after one more annoying speech from Vlad—Katsuki and Aisla, followed by her loyal labrador, Ashido, Uraraka, and Deku all made their way into the lobby. Katsuki kept a firm hold on Aisla's hand, even as they passed by the still narrow-eyed teacher. He wanted her to know that it didn't matter to him that their homeroom teacher—and coincidentally Aisla's favorite hero—suspected they were intimately involved. He still wanted to be with her, and he needed to show her that he didn't care who knew it.

Don't deny her ever again, he silently warned himself. Show her that you're a new man.

"What do you guys want to do now?" Deku asked in that annoying voice of his.

"Pool party~!" Ashido exclaimed.

"That sounds fun!" Uraraka agreed, then turned a blushing gaze on Aisla. "Oh, unless you don't want to be near the water after last night?"

"That's not it…I just…did my hair," she whined, tugging on a curled strand and earning laughs from her friends.

"Come on, Ru," Todoroki chimed in. "This could be our last chance to hang out together as a class before we go back to school. If you don't want to go in the pool, we could all do something else together?"

She thought about it for a moment, then turned her attention to Katsuki. "What do you think, Katsuki?"

He shrugged. "The pool sounds fun, I guess…" He tried to keep his tone nonchalant, but inside he was secretly eager to see his girlfriend wrapped up in that teeny bikini again. The way the tight material hugged her breasts and ass, and the shimmery quality of her body as it dripped with water from the pool, the way the sun turned her skin and hair an angelic gold… god, Katsuki would give anything to see that again.

Her eyes lit up mischievously like she knew exactly what he was thinking. "Okay, Katsuki. Then let's do it!"
