Nazis vs Heroes
"Cait?" Revan said, visibly stunned, tears in his eyes.
"Um, yes?" Caitlin said, clearly confused. She hadn't seen this man before in her life.
"Oh my God." Kara said, putting her hands over her mouth, realization dawning on her. This was Revan's sister's doppelganger, and she didn't even notice.
"I need a moment, I'm sorry." Revan quickly said before disappearing.
"What happened?" Caitlin asked Kara. "Did he know me?"
"You were his sister." Kara said, shocking everyone. "His name is Revan Snow."
"Oh." Caitlin said. "But even so why was he-"
"Cait." Barry now said. "He was adopted by your family after being orphaned, and then his Earth was destroyed. To him, you died. Worse, he lived through it."
"Oh God." Caitlin said, now realizing the impact her presence was having on Revan.
"I'm going for him." Kara said.
"No." Oliver said. "You're the one Nazis are looking for. They catch you out there alone unguarded, we're done. Besides Revan could probably beat those three singlehandedly again."
"Look at you. So much trust in this guy, Ollie?" Barry asked, cracking a small smile.
"As a matter of fact, yes." Oliver said. It was true Oliver wasn't easily impressed, and that's being mild. But the way Revan handled things, breaking Thawne's back, threatening to nearly kill Oliver-X to break Kara-X's focus, not hesitating. It was a sign that Revan wasn't just a superhero, he was more of a vigilante, with powers.
"Even so, I'm not gonna let him go through this alone." Barry said. "Kara stay, I'll go." He then ran out of the cortex.
Barry ran all around the city, running through high vantage points and scanning the city for a flash of white, when he spotted one going straight towards the edge of town, to one of the reception towers. Barry followed, struggling a bit with the height of the tower. Revan however, had instantly gone straight to the very top, having had years of training on his Earth from Owlman.
"You're some kind of a parkour artist, aren't you?" Barry said as he finally reached Revan, panting.
"It's what I started out as. A vigilante." Revan shrugged. "You shouldn't be here though, I'll be fine."
"I know you will." Barry said, taking a seat next to him. "But no one should have to go through something like this alone. No one should be have to bear it alone."
Revan smiled bitterly, remembering his time on his home Earth.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Barry said.
"Meeting you, meeting Caitlin," Revan began, "it's so strange, so surreal, so painful. It's almost too many things at once. A part of me genuinely feels good to see you. Yet another is reminded of the fact that you're not them, and that they're dead. Like a speaker in my ear constantly telling me."
"I'm sorry." Barry said.
"Don't be. It's not your fault." Revan said. "And on the other hand, I'm glad to see what you look like as an adult, and it's no different than the 9 year old idiot who was my best friend." Both of them laughed at this. "And you're getting married. My sister is alive here. It is good to see, as much as it hurts."
"I hope so, man. And you're welcome back here anytime." Barry said, putting a hand on Revan's shoulder.
"Thanks, Barry." Revan said , a small but genuine smile gracing his lips. "I think we should get back."
.
Barry and Revan ran back into the Cortex. "I'm sorry I had to leave." Revan said, as Kara flew straight to him, wrapping her arms around his neck, hugging him.
"You okay, Rev?" Kara asked, not letting go of him just yet.
"I will be. I promise." Revan said, hugging her back as he wrapped his arms around her waist. The two shared a brief kiss before getting back to work.
"Right." Revan went to Cisco, Felicity and Caitlin. "Show me what you've got." He avoided directly looking at Caitlin. The pain inside him was only growing stronger. All he could do was remember his training with Thomas. He had to focus on his mission. If he couldn't do that, it was useless, and another Caitlin would be in danger again.
"So you've been tracking them by tracking Overgirl's excessive short wave radiation poisoning?" Revan asked now.
"Yeah. Alex suggested it. Ahh speak of the devil." Cisco said as Alex walked in.
"I hope that was a compliment. For your sake." Alex smirked.
"Hey Alex. Okay then let me see." He typed away at the console in super speed, stopping after a few seconds. "Is there a possibility that they have a functioning Forward Operations Base with a sustained breach?" Revan asked.
"Definitely." Cisco and Alex answered.
"Factoring that in…" Revan said mostly to himself, resuming his work.
Kara watched Revan from a distance, feeling a sense of familiarity. He worked here with the same near unbreakable focus that he has everyday at CatCo, editing articles.
"Alright take a look." Revan said, noticing Kara staring at him, and giving her a quick wink.
"This is some algorithm." Cisco said. "So they're hiding out in the flatlands, eh?"
"Based on this, they're using this location as a staging area, a kind of FOB." Revan said. "If we can capture this area, it's possible we'll cut off their means of communication and travel to and from their home world, since it's most likely that their breach is there."
"Okay team. We have a plan." Oliver said. "Get ready."
Everyone scattered a little, getting their things, maybe redoing their suit. Caitlin walked up to Revan. "Hi." She said.
"Oh.. Hello." Revan said, looking at the ground.
"I'm sorry." Caitlin said. "Seeing both me and Barry must be so painful. If there's anything I can do to help, even if it's just to stay away from you…"
"You're just like her." Revan said, his voice barely above a whisper. Caitlin was surprised.
"You're always trying to help those in need. Trying to help me." Revan said, finally looking up. "Not to mention you look and sound exactly the same."
Caitlin stood there, gazing upon the brother she never had. Despite all his pain, he had a warmth to him, similar to one she felt with Barry. They both could inspire and heal, even if they're different from one another.
"Only thing is I never thought of you as a doctor." Revan laughed, albeit a bit weaker than a normal laugh.
"Why what was I? Tech expert?" Caitlin asked half jokingly.
"Exactly." Revan said.
"Oh." Cait said.
Then both of them let out a small laugh.
"I cannot picture myself where Cisco is." Caitlin said.
"I can't picture you with a microscope and an injection, honestly." They both laughed again. "Thanks Caitlin. For coming to talk. I would have been too awkward and… you know."
"It's okay." Caitlin smiled.
"Rev." Kara's voice came from the Cortex door. "We gotta go."
"We're coming." Caitlin answered.
"We?" Revan asked, confused.
In response, Caitlin's hair turned white, and her eyes turned icy blue. "Hi. I'm Frost."
"Oh that's how it is here. Well hi." Revan said, before walking out with Frost behind him.

The team of heroes assembled a little distance away from the location they'd uncovered. Oliver and Sara walked back to the team from their reconnaissance.
"Okay there's a whole lot of troops surrounding a small building." Sara said.
"And something else." Oliver said.
"They have their own Wave Rider." Sara said.
"A Nazi Wave Rider?" Curtis exclaimed. "Great."
"We can win this. With everyone." Barry said.
"That's right." Kara added.
"Stay focused, watch your enemy, and remember, above all, stay alive." Revan concluded.
"Let's do this." Oliver said, getting his bow out.
As the team started to approach the, the Nazi Wave Rider floated up into the sky.
"Oh Great." Kara sighed.
"Do not let that ship get away, Wave Rider!" Revan told the people inside their own Wave Rider.
"We're on it." Cisco's voice came through comms.
"Everyone else, engage the base, now!" Oliver yelled his command to the others, who quickly sprung to action. The Nazi soldiers started dropping as the heroes slowly made their way towards the base.
Suddenly, Oliver-X and Thawne appeared outside. This time, however, another speedster came alongside Thawne.
Barry and Revan met the speedsters while Oliver went off to fight his doppelganger.
"Back for more?" Barry snarled at Thawne. "I see your spine is healed."
"It didn't on it's own. I had to expend a lot of energy for it. I'll have to pay you back somehow." Thawne said, looking at and gesturing towards Revan.
"You can try." Revan said, unbothered
"Who's that with you?" Barry yelled.
"I'm glad you asked. Barry, meet Barry." He said, pointing towards the new speedster, who wore a black and red suit with the Earth-X Nazi symbol, merged with a lightning bolt. "Otherwise known as Blitzen."
"So you're me, huh? Let's see what you got." Barry-X, or Blitzen said.
"You sure about that?" Revan said. "Last time, you lost before you could move."
"Oh but this time you'll be out of the equation." Thawne smirked. Suddenly, a big gun popped out from the top of the building they were targeting, starting to shoot what seemed like laser based projectiles, at nearly everyone on the field.
"Go." Barry said as Revan nodded and ran off.
"Two against one, Flash." Thawne smirked.
Barry grit his teeth. He knew he was already at a disadvantage due to numbers. Coupling that with the fact that he was facing both himself, and the man that killed his mother, and he was a mess. Fortunately, his attention was diverted to Revan suddenly running across and punching Thawne straight in the face, knocking him down.
"It's us against you, Thawne. And you'll lose." Barry said, realizing. He then ran full speed at Blitzen.
Revan was running around, following the beams of laser as they shot out, either saving their target of absorbing the beams, and occasionally punching someone.
Revan looked up and saw Kara and Kara-X going at it. Kara-X was flying straight at Kara, tackling her and going a good distance before punching her. Kara stumbled, but shook her head and dodged another punch from her counterpart, before countering with her own punch to Kara-X's stomach. She then jabbed at her face, sending Kara-X flying straight back. Kara-X regained her balance and tried to tackle her again, but Kara dodged it easily, before throwing a side kick straight into Kara-X's gut, knocking her back through the air some more. Revan smiled to himself. Kara would handle herself just fine. Although the form on that side kick could be better.
Barry was fighting Thawne, Blitzen trying to keep up. However, Barry could tell that his doppelganger was not as fast as him. Even if there was strength in numbers, that was an advantage. He kept running at maximum speed, so the fight mostly stayed one on one. He wanted to focus on Thawne first.
"Guys!" Revan's voice crackled through comms. "We need to destroy that gun! Any bright ideas?"
"Working on it." Oliver said, already working on a plan.
"Do it faster. I can't keep running and absorbing forever." Revan said, starting to sound tired. At this point, all he was doing was continuously running around, stopping the rapid fire lasers from the mounted guns. They had to stop those guns soon, or he'd get tired and make a mistake which could potentially cost someone's life, and he'd be damned if he let anyone else die on his watch.
"Comet!" Kara yelled from the sky, her voice ringing in Revan's ears. "I see a big generator at the back of the compound. It seems to be powering the guns. Can anyone get to it?" she said, audibly grunting in between, evidence of her ongoing fight with her doppelganger.
"Kinda pinned here." The non powered heroes said.
"Busy here." Barry's voice sounded out.
"Guess it has to be me." Revan said, half groaning. He had no choice. He'd have to resort to a certain degree of extreme measures.
Barry, who was still running around, saw a wormhole open up behind enemy lines, and was shocked to see Revan run out. He took a split second to survey the battlefield to find Revan still running around protecting everyone from the lasers. There was no mistake. Revan had created a time remnant. Barry was furious, since a time remnant of himself had done so much damage, killing HR, almost killing Iris, being one of the reasons behind him being trapped in the Speed Force for so long. But it would have to wait till after the fight.
Barry saw Revan's remnant run straight to the generators and hit them with two powerful blasts of energy, destroying them instantly. Then he saw something weird, or rather weirder. The remnant ran straight towards Revan, now standing still, and the two somehow merged, fused into one being. Only one Revan was visible, now. Barry was incredibly surprised. He'd never seen anything like that before.
Thawne took advantage of this distraction and tripped Barry, who ragdolled a few feet forward. He stopped right in front of Barry, and was about to knock him out, when Revan came and hit him with a body shot, sending him flying several meters. He then whirled on Nazi Barry, who was about to throw a punch. He easily dodged it, went behind Blitzen, and promptly dislocated both his knees with a phasing hand. Barry-X yelped in pain as he fell to the ground. Barry had already risen to his feet, going after Thawne, holding him up and and holding a phasing hand over the red and black symbol on his chest.
"Go on. End it." Thawne taunted. "End it!"
Revan watched as Barry struggled, before finally stopping vibrating his hand, letting it fall to his side.
"What's stopping you? Ahhh I forgot." Thawne spoke, his voice raspy. "Barry Allen is above killing."
Barry loosened his grip on Thawne's suit, shoving him back a little. "Get out of here." He said, his voice seething with contempt.
Thawne looked at Barry for a second, before speaking, "I wonder what face I'll be wearing the next time we meet, Flash." He smirked.
"Can't wait." Barry shot back, giving a small smirk himself.
Thawne gave one final look to Barry, before running off into the horizon, disappearing from sight.
"We have something to talk about." Barry said to Revan as the two of them turned to the rest of the battlefield. The Wave Rider had defeated it's Nazi counterpart. Revan had seen Caitlin, no, Frost go into the Nazi ship at some point during the battle, and he felt worry, but not too much since no one said anything concerning casualties. Oliver was still fighting with his doppelganger, as they traded blow after blow , neither giving the other any leeway.
Suddenly, he sensed a massive surge of energy, mainly solar, coming from the sky. He looked up to see Kara-X struggle with herself as Kara floated there, trying to make sense of it. Suddenly, Kara-X's mask disappeared, showing her skin that was starting to glow dangerously. "Supergirl, your doppelganger's about to have a meltdown." Harry's voice came across comms.
"What do I do?" Kara asked frantically.
"You need to fly her up. Up. And away. Now." Harry replied.
Kara grabbed her Nazi self and flew straight upwards, breaking the sound barrier as she shot through the clouds nearing the edge of the stratosphere, soon disappearing from sight. Revan kept looking as there was a sudden explosion, one similar to a Supernova. Revan was very much worried now about Kara, running to where he calculated she would fall, if she had lost consciousness, and sure enough, he saw her falling moments later. He started running around, creating a small tornado.
"What are you doing?" Sara yelled through comms.
"Trying to create some updraft to at least soften her fall!" Revan answered.
"I'll help." Barry said, running with Revan, adding to the tornado. Revan calculated in his mind, and cursed to himself, as he knew there wasn't enough updraft to break her fall.
"Let me through!" Revan heard Nate's voice. "I might be able to catch her!"
"Alright walk through, we'll avoid you!" Barry yelled. Revan wasn't sure this would work but it sure as hell seemed the best idea at the moment, since he couldn't think of anything else.
Kara came plummeting down to the ground, visibly slowed a little, but still enough to send a big wave of dirt and force in all directions. When dust settled, Revan saw Nate carrying Kara, still in his Steel form.
"I figured it'd take a Man of Steel to catch the Girl of Steel." Nate shrugged.
"Ehh, close enough." Kara, who had just regained consciousness, said.
Revan surveyed the battlefield. Oliver was walking away from his dead doppelganger's corpse, an arrow sticking out of his chest. A few of the Nazi soldiers, who weren't already knocked out, were surrendering. The attack had been a success.
Kara got off Nate and stood on her own feet, and then flew straight to Revan.
"You okay?" Revan asked Kara.
"Yeah." I was just knocked out from the impact, only for a couple seconds." Kara said, trying to brush it off. She didn't want Revan to worry.
"It was more than a couple, but… alright." Revan smiled, his face mask now down, only his eyes covered by his visor. "I'm glad you're okay." He hugged Kara, who happily hugged him back, relishing his embrace.
"Well I don't know about you, but I call that a success for the books, boys." Sara came up, addressing everyone.
"Let's get back to the base, right after we take care of these Nazi soldiers." Barry said, eyeing Revan. The powers he displayed were still on his mind. A time remnant that he can absorb, eliminate the risk of something like Savitar happening?
.
.
"A time what?" Kara asked, stumped.
"A time remnant. Basically a clone of me, created when I travel back in time by a very, very small amount, and meet myself." Revan explained. "The Speed Force acts as something of a bomb shelter against the temporal ripple effect that changes things when an event at a past time is altered."
"Still didn't get it, but okay." Kara said, taking a couple steps back as Barry got back to questioning Revan.
"I was originally about to give you a piece of my mind for creating a Time Remnant." Barry admitted. "One of my greatest enemies, Savitar, was a remnant of me. He hated all of us because apparently, in an alternate and real depressing timeline, we all rejected him because he was a remnant."
"Okay…" Revan said as Barry continued.
"He nearly killed Iris last year, and killed one of our friends, HR, also messing so many lives up in the process." Barry sat down. "But then I saw you absorb your remnant. What was that?"
"That's what this is about? You could have just said so." Revan said, before beginning to explain. "It's simple. You know my forte is energy. Absorbing it, manipulating it, converting it, releasing it, and so on. Now we all are energy, right? Even our flesh can be broken down into energy. I use that principle to absorb my remnant, essentially fusing the two of us together. It doesn't kill him, it just merges us. It also conveniently gives me an instant recharge, since I'm essentially doubling my reserve by absorbing my remnant, who is but myself."
"Whoa." Barry said, astonished at Revan's powers.
"Wait, how?" Cisco suddenly began. "How could you absorb a person so easily? Transforming the body matter into energy alone would be-"
"Oh right." Revan interrupted, before showing Cisco a little device in his belt.
"A Quantum Splicer. Of course! Genius!" Cisco said, overly enthusiastic.
"That's right. This does the breakdown part of the job. I handle the conversion and assimilation." Revan explained.
Kara came up behind him. "Nerds." She said, hugging him.
"I suppose that clears up your doubts?" Revan asked, looking at Barry and Cisco and the others, who nodded, still a look of awe on their face.
"Now that that's settled," Oliver began, "I think it'd be a good thing if we all got some rest. We'll wrap things up tomorrow."
"Sounds good man." Rene said.
"Yeah I could use some sleep after all that." Mick said in his coarse voice from the back.
"Quick question. Where do we sleep?" Kara said, raising a hand.
"I'll find a hotel room." Barry said.
"Make it a two bedroom deal." Alex said. "I don't wanna interrupt the lovebirds here."
"Alex!" Kara glared at her sister as Revan chuckled, and Barry let out a laugh of his own.
.
.
A couple hours later, Revan and Kara were sitting on a couch, eating some ordered in pizza in their hotel room.
"Well I wonder what they'll do about the wedding now?" Kara said.
"What do you mean?" Revan asked.
"Well the Nazis attacked on their wedding day and they had to fight, revealing their identities to whoever was attending." Kara said. "Of course, they also erased their memories, but that means to them, the wedding hasn't even happened yet."
"Oh right." Revan said, realizing. "So you think they'll have a second wedding?"
"I don't know." Kara shrugged. "Let's see. But you know…" She began inching closer to Revan, having consumed her last bite. "I missed you." She said, her voice low, as she climbed onto Revan's lap and kissed him fervently, slipping her arms around his neck, her fingers buried in his messy hair. Revan's hand snaked around her back, sliding around before settling on her waist. Her lips were soft, warm and lush on his, inducing a mad fever in him, and the two went for each other's shirt, pulling it off them, as the world around them dissolved into nothingness.
.
.
The next morning, Revan, Kara and Alex assembled in Central Park, as Sara, Oliver, Felicity, Barry and Iris joined them.
"Hey, guys." Barry said as they all gathered up.
"What are you gonna do about your wedding?" Revan asked Barry.
"Well we talked about it," Barry began, looking at Iris, "and we decided that we're just gonna get it over with. A small ceremony."
"Besides we already had everyone over for our wedding." Iris said. "Tying the knot can be a small thing."
"Well I guess it's time for us to go." Alex said. "I for one had a hell of a time, though."
"Yeah me too." Kara said.
"Hey Revan." Barry said. "Someone wants to talk to you." He gestured behind Revan, and Revan turned to see Caitlin there, along with Cisco.
"I'll give you a minute." Kara smiled, kissing him on the cheek before leaving him alone.
"Well, I'll see you later, I suppose, Caitlin." Revan said, nervousness palpable in his voice.
"Cait." Caitlin said. "You can call me Cait. And I know we're not the siblings you knew, but we can still have something. You're welcome back here anytime."
Revan's eyes teared up. He barely kept himself from breaking down. "Thanks, Cait."
Caitlin gestured for a hug, and Revan almost super sped into her embrace. His breathing was heavy, but as they broke apart, there was some semblance of satisfaction in him.
"See you, Rev." Caitlin said.
"See you, Cait." Revan said back. "Right. Let's go."
Kara hugged Revan as they walked back, before doing the same to Caitlin. "Thank you."
"Don't mention it. If I was anything like myself on his Earth, I know why I took to him so well." Caitlin smirked, and Revan chuckled at that.
"Well shall we?" Alex said.
"Bye guys. Have a good, and possibly safe wedding." Kara said, waving to Barry and the others, just as the Wave Rider landed some distance from them.
"And that's my cue. See you guys." Sara said, waving as she walked towards her ship.
Revan, Kara and Alex walked through the breach, and they were back in Kara's apartment, on their Earth.
"Well, back to reality." Alex said. "See you guys later, I'm off to my apartment. Maggie's waiting for me, I think."
"Bye, Alex." Kara said as her sister left, and she plopped onto her couch.
"Messy weekend, ehh?" Revan said, sitting down beside her.
"No kidding." Kara sighed. "But never mind that, are you okay? Seeing Barry, and I didn't even think about Caitlin…"
"It's okay." Revan smiled soberly. "To be honest, it did hurt at first. But it got better. And I really look forward to seeing them again."
"We can visit them from time to time." Kara said, intertwining her fingers with his, and Revan smiled at her.
Suddenly, Kara's ears caught sirens in the distance, and Kara snapped her neck towards the sound, Revan knew.
"No rest for the wicked, hmm?" Revan said.
"Nope." Kara smirked. "But before we go…" Kara gave Revan a brief, soft kiss, before switching to her suit. "Let's go."
Revan, who was just a little dazed, snapped out of it, his suit materializing on him. "Race you."
"You're on!" the two sped away.

Oh I was just dying to upload, so it's sooner than usual.
Well that's my version of the Crisis on Earth X arc. Of course there are several changes. Stein is still alive, Alex and Maggie didn't break up. I didn't want that in my story, because I want this to be mostly on the happy side.
As always, please review and tell me what you like or don't like. Constructive criticism is always welcome. See you in the next one. Peace!
