Christmas

"What's Christmas?" Revan asked Kara.

"Oh well it's a special day that we have to celebrate the birth of a baby that… Alex wanna help?" Kara said, distressed. She was Kryptonian, so it was normal for her to not be able to properly explain Earth holidays.

"I'm kidding, Kara, I know what Christmas is." Revan laughed.

"You're lucky I'm not taking you flying right now." Kara pouted.

"I know I'm lucky." Revan said. He was at Kara's place, as he was invited to help with the decorations.

"Okay, Winn, Alex. I'm guessing you guys can handle the rest?" Kara asked as she finished decorating the windows with streamers.

"We got this, go get us a tree." Alex said.

"Alright. Rev, let's go." Kara said.

"Cool. Bye guys." Revan said, waving to Winn and Alex.

"Have fun!" Winn said in a singing manner. Revan shook his head as he and Kara sped off. They went straight to the hills, scouring the forests for a good one. With their powers, they didn't really need anyone's help.

Presently, Kara touched ground, and Revan stopped where she'd come down.

"This one's good, yeah?" Kara asked, pointing to a moderately tall tree.

"Yep." Revan said, then suddenly sped behind Kara, hugging her from behind.

Kara let out a tiny squeal, before leaning back into Revan's hug. "Hey you."

Revan giggled a bit, then pressed a kiss against her neck. Kara sighed. "As much as I love you, we need to get this tree quickly."

"Oh I know. Which is why I'm cherishing a few moments." Revan said, smiling sombrely.

Kara turned in his hug, now facing him, wrapping her arms around Revan's neck. "A few moments, huh? I could use some too." She said, as she kissed him tenderly. Revan pulled her close, feeling her soft lips, warm despite the cold outside, relishing it. They broke apart shortly, but not before Revan rubbed her nose with his own.

"Alright, back to the tree." Revan said, letting go, but before he could, Kara grabbed him and pulled him back to land another brief kiss on his lips, before pulling back. "Yes, the tree." She said, smiling all giddy.

"So, will you do it, or shall I?" Revan asked.

"Allow me." Kara smirked, as her eyes lit up. She cleanly cut through the trunk of the tree with minimal power, so as not to damage anything else. Soon, the tree was falling, and Kara caught it easily. "Let's get back."

As Kara carried the tree back to their place, Revan sped inside and made room for her to fly in with the tree. He even phased certain parts of it that would have crashed somewhere, to ensure a smooth entry.

"Tree's here, people!" Revan yelled out. Alex and Winn came in from the kitchen.

"Thought I heard you two." Alex said. "Come on, let's set it up."

That's when there was a knock on the door. "Huh. I wonder who that is." Alex said.

Revan went to open the door, to find James and Lena on the other side. "Oh hello there! Welcome!" he said in a mock British accent, moving aside to invite them in.

"Smooth, Revan." Lena said, smirking.

"Why thank you, Lena." Revan said, before walking over to the kitchen to fetch some drinks. "Cola, anybody?"

"Me!" Kara yelled from across the room.

"You really put Cola onto Kara's list, didn't you?" Alex said from the couch.

"Hey, I have Cola stockpiled at my place. If she comes to love it too, what I can I do?" Revan shrugged, popping open a few bottles and placing them on the table, keeping one on himself, and handing Kara one too.

"Well, only the tree is left, and we still have some daylight left, so how about a break from decorating?" Winn asked.

"No complaints here." Alex shrugged. "What is it with you and cola though?"

"My father loved it. He always had some with him. Whenever we were at his lab, he'd give me a can of it. I came to love it as well." Revan said, his smile becoming sombre. Kara put a hand on his back. She knew he still struggled with his past, and she'd help him however she could, however long it would take.

"Right well, now I'm hungry." James suddenly said.

"Oh now you're talking." Both Revan and Kara said at the same time, eyes gleaming.

"I'll go get us some food." Kara said, jumping up. She ran to the door, at normal speed, exited the apartment and sped off to the Big Belly Burger joint.

Revan noticed Lena and James were a little closer to each other than usual. Of course, he'd know, considering he'd been with Kara for almost a year. Lena and James were slowly becoming romantically involved. Oh how Kara would laugh if she heard him put it that way. 'Romantically involved'.

Presently, he felt his bag of sunshine approaching the apartment. He quickly went to the door, opening it to find Kara with one hand up, about to knock, the other hand carrying several bags of food. "Careful you don't drop all that." He smirked.

"I know I can always rely on you." Kara grinned, giving him a small kiss on the lips, giggling. "Food!" she yelled to the rest of the people in the apartment.

"Yes!" Winn pumped a fist in the air.

Evening on Christmas Eve came faster than anticipated. The Game Night party was going well, and presently, the gang was playing Scotland Yard.

"Of course you couldn't pick Monopoly. We had to play this stupid detective game, that I've lost twice now!" Alex complained to Kara.

"Hey I love playing this game. Revan introduced me to it." Kara said, shooting Revan a grin.

"Hey I quite like it. Thanks, Revan." Lena said.

"Hey it's a game of smarts. Anyone who likes it, has the smarts necessary for it." Revan said, smirking at Alex.

"You walk a dangerous line, buddy." Alex said, narrowing her eyes.

"Well as of this moment, we're in a game. So if you wanna win, catch me, this round's Mr. X." Revan said, while the rest of the people, who were the detectives tried to catch him. Revan masterfully moved the piece through. Before long, he'd escaped, and no one had caught him.

"Dude how are you so good at this?" James asked.

"Strategy, my friend." Revan answered with a smirk.

Suddenly, there were alerts ringing on Alex, Kara, Winn and Revan's phone.

"Whoa, what are you guys doing that you get alerts at the same time?" Lena asked, curious.

"There's an emergency at the NGO we volunteer at. We won't be long, I'm so sorry." Revan masterfully constructed the lie.

"Oh… well, best of luck, and do hurry back." James said, shooting Revan and the rest a wink when Lena wasn't looking.

"We will, James." Kara answered, and the four exited the apartment before the two heroes sped off carrying the two normal people.

.

.

"We should tell Lena, Kara." Revan said.

"I don't want her to be in danger." Kara answered as they entered the DEO.

"Kara, she's a Luthor. She's always in danger. Plus she's very frequently seen with Supergirl. Coming to know it's you really won't hurt." Revan reasoned. "And putting that aside, she's your friend. She deserves to know."

Kara sighed. "You're right. We'll tell her soon."

"Good." Revan smiled, and Kara smiled back. "Well what is it on Christmas Eve, J'onn?" he asked.

"I'm not any happier about it than you are Mr. Snow. A few minutes ago, we received a report of a woman, flying and tearing apart buildings with super strength… like Supergirl." J'onn replied.

"What? But I was at home." Kara exclaimed.

"Which means it was someone like you, either Kryptonian, or similar." Revan reasoned. "Anything on what she looked like?"

"Dressed in black is all we have. With a mask, apparently." J'onn answered.

"Well we're not gonna get anywhere with this right now. We'd best go home for today and come the next working day with clear heads." Winn suggested.

"Good call. We have to get back to our Christmas Eve party." Kara said.

"Okay have fun." J'onn said.

"You know you could join us." Revan said.

"Appreciate the offer, but someone has to stay here." J'onn replied.

"Alright J'onn. Let's go guys." Alex said, and the two heroes picked up Alex and Winn and sped off back to Kara's apartment.

.

.

.

Once everyone had eaten their fill back at Kara's apartment, it was time to go home for everyone.

"Well, this was a fun change from the usual Luthor Christmas tropes." Lena said. "My family usually terrorized their cities."

"Well you're clearly not them." Kara said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "You guys go ahead. Me, Rev and Lena have something to talk about." She said to the rest of the group, shooting Revan a glance. Revan understood what she was about to do.

"Okay. Come on Winn, I'll drop you. You need a ride, James?" Alex said, turning to James at the end.

"Naah, I got it covered." He said, and the three left the apartment.

"Okay Kara, what is it you want to talk about?" Lena asked.

"Well, Revan and I have a secret to share with you. It's a very big secret, and it's dangerous for you to know. But we trust you, and so we want to welcome you into the fold." Kara said.

"Okay…" Lena said tentatively, getting a little nervous.

Kara and Revan looked at each other and nodded. Kara opened up her shirt, revealing her suit, the House of El Coat of Arms clearly visible. Revan already had his ring on, and activated it, his suit materializing over him.

"I'm Supergirl." Kara said.

"And I'm the Comet." Revan said, opening up his mask, not vibrating his voice.

"Oh… wow." Lena said, her eyes now wide as saucers.

"I wanted to tell you sooner, but I wanted to protect you. Knowing this puts you in danger. You have to be careful not let anyone know that you know." Kara said. "I'm sorry I hid this for so long."

"Kara, I… I don't even know what to say." Lena said. It was rare to see her at a loss for words. "I guess… Thank you for trusting me with this. You too Revan. I just… all those times you disappeared, you were going to protect this city, and you protected me so many times. Thank you."

"Protecting people is the job," Revan now spoke, "but you're special, especially to Kara. And I know how damaging secrets can be to a good friendship. Welcome to the family, Lena." He finished with smile.

"Thanks. Do the others know?" Lena asked.

"Oh yes. Alex already knew growing up because of the whole, you know, adopting an alien child thing. James knew because he knew about Superman. Winn was the first person I told after I made my first save." Kara explained.

"Oh my God… Clark Kent is Superman. You cousin, right?" Lena asked, more realisation visible on her face.

"Yes. You have to be careful with this secret, Lena. I cannot say it enough." Kara said, going up to her and taking Lena's hands into her own.

"Of course, Kara. Thanks again for trusting me. Even though I'm a Luthor…" Lena began.

"Lena, your last name has nothing to do with who you are." Revan said, now walking up to her, standing beside Kara. "It's you, as a person, that we value and trust."

Lena nodded, smiling. "Now I have a few questions."

"And we will answer them as best we can." Revan said, Kara letting out a small chuckle. It was a good Christmas Eve.

.

.

.

.

The next day, Kara woke up, to find her bed empty. She slowly got up from the bed, set the bed out, and went out into the living room. She could smell fresh cooking as she came out and saw Revan cooking at the stove.

"Rev?" Kara called.

"Hey Kara." She was treated to Revan's easy going smile. She sped to him and hugged him from behind.

"Good Morning, Shooting Star." She said, speaking as she buried her face in his back.

"Good morning, Girl of Steel." Revan said. "I wanted to surprise you. Bacon and eggs?"

"Yum!" Kara exclaimed, jumping.

Revan quickly whipped up a plate of Bacon and Eggs for Kara, setting it on the table. Kara was about to all but jump on it, when Revan yelled. "Stop!"

Kara stopped, waiting. Revan sped around, before sliding a cup of hot coffee in front of her. "Now you can start."

Kara started sipping her coffee, as Revan plated up some food for himself as well. "Bon Apetit, Girl of Steel."

Kara giggled, as she finished her coffee and dove into the bacon and eggs. It was a Good morning indeed.

.

.

The rest of the day went by quickly. Pretty soon, it was time for the party. Revan and Kara got ready to receive their friends at her apartment, when suddenly, Revan felt a strange energy discharge. Dimensional energy discharge.

"Hey Rev." Kara said, coming up to him. "If anyone asks, they're your friends from Central."

"What? Who?" Revan began, just as the door opened and Revan saw Barry and Caitlin walk in.

"Hey bud. Merry Christmas." Barry said with his signature grin.

Revan broke out into a grin of his own, running towards them and wrapping them both in a hug. "Hey Cait, hey Barr."

"Hey Rev." Caitlin said, as they broke apart. "We wanted to share your first Christmas with you."

"I called them here." Kara said, coming up behind them. "Surprise!"

"Revan turned to Kara and hugged her tightly as well. "Thanks, Kara."

"You're Welcome, Rev." Kara said sombrely, before they let go of each other and ushered their extradimensional guests further into the apartment. Revan and Caitlin instantly got to talking about their own histories, comparing lives on their respective Earths.

Kara and Barry watched from a distance. "They really do seem like siblings already, don't they?" Kara said to Barry. Barry smiled at that. "Yes, they do." He spoke.

"So I had cold powers, but no Killer Frost dual persona?" Barry and Kara heard Caitlin ask Revan.

"Yes." Revan spoke. "My friend, Arch, helped you get better with your powers, and soon, you were another superhero, but you usually don't go into the field unless necessary, really."

"Well, I have a second persona living inside my head. It's like having a neighbor, in your body." Caitlin said.

"That sounds weirdly cool." Revan said.

Kara giggled at how well they were already conversing, despite not having known each other for all that long.

There was a knock on the door. Kara opened it, and Alex, Winn, James and Lena piled in.

"Barry!" Winn yelled. "What are you doing here?"

"Hey Winn. We're here to see Revan." Barry said. He looked at Kara and whispered to himself, "Does Lena know?" hoping she'd catch it with her super hearing. Kara nodded at Barry.

"Hi. I'm Caitlin Snow. A version of Revan's sister." Caitlin came and introduced herself.

"Oh, wow." Lena said. "I'm not used to all this just yet." She nervously laughed. "Lena Luthor."

"James Olsen." James introduced himself to Caitlin as well, as the two had never met. So did Winn. "Winslow Schott Jr. Not to be confused with my father, who happens to be a villain that I don't care about." He said cheerfully.

"Okay." Caitlin said, and Barry just chuckled.

"Come on guys, have something to eat." Revan said, ushering them to the table.

There were deep-dish pizzas and pies across the table, and several bottles of eggnog, courtesy of Barry.

"Grandma Esther's eggnog is the best, period." Barry said.

"Whatever you say, Barry." Winn said, taking a sip of it. "Okay whoa! That is amazing!"

"Told you." Barry smirked.

"That is some strong, delicious, eggnog." James said, drinking some himself.

"I'll have some pizza, if you don't mind." Lena said.

"Not at all." Kara smiled as she handed her a plate.

.

.

"I still can't believe dad had powers on your Earth." Revan said, smiling at his sister. Well a version of her. Him and Caitlin were a little away from the others right now, enjoying a little more sibling bonding time.

"Did we study together?" Caitlin asked.

"Yeah, a lot of the time. You were incredibly interested in hardware, how it works, how to make it better. I was more into theoretical sciences. Like our father." Revan explained.

"I must have been extremely fun to work with." Caitlin said sarcastically.

"Yeah, you really were." Caitlin was surprised to here Revan say that genuinely.

"Wait, really?" she asked, not hiding her surprise.

"Of course." Revan replied, once again genuinely speaking. "You know, right after I… accepted the Snow family, there was a period of time when we were inseparable. We refused to do anything away from each other." Revan laughed, although there was a tinge of sadness behind it. "I'm glad I got to meet you. Even if you're not my Caitlin, you're so much like her. You… You are my sister." He said sombrely.

Caitlin hugged her brother. One she never knew growing up, but now felt so close to. She let go of him soon, clearing her throat.

"Hey how'd you get your powers? We've talked about mine enough." Caitlin said, curiosity gripping her.

"Well, our dad was trying to develop clean sources of energy. So one day I visit him at his lab, and he was working with supercharged photonic particles. But he had a few miscalculations, and the tubes ruptured, unable to hold all of the discharge. I was too close at the time, so I was hit with both the particles and the discharged residual energies." Revan said. "Now I got my speed about a couple years later when I went up against an evil speedster, and absorbed some of his energy. Before that, I was going across rooftops as a vigilante, just as I was taught by my mentor, Owlman."

"I don't know about the name, but he sounds like a good person." Caitlin said.

"He was. One of the best people I ever knew, and one of the greatest heroes of our world." Revan said, eyes gleaming with pride and nostalgia. "Well, we should head back." He added, walking towards the rest of the group. Caitlin followed, but not before giving him a short hug.

Kara had been watching Revan and Caitlin talk, smiling to herself. Of course, she didn't use super hearing, only vision. She wasn't going to eavesdrop on her boyfriend while he was talking with a sort-of-reunited sister.

"Eyes on your prize?" Barry said, coming up beside her, making Kara blush. "You seem to have gotten a great partner."

"Yeah. I sure do." Kara beamed. "But hey, how's married life treating you?"

Barry sighed. This was one thing he did not want to talk about. "Not great. Iris and I broke up."

"Wait what?" Kara asked, shocked. It wasn't long ago that she attended their wedding, and beaten a Nazi invasion while at it too. "When… how… why?"

"It happened a month ago, but the reason? I'm not sure myself " Barry said. "Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy the marriage is cut off, but I'm not too affected by it either. I spent so long, crushing on Iris, since I was eleven. But all that time, she didn't even think of me in the romantic way. Then I became the Flash, and when she found out, she suddenly she developed feelings for me. In my first year of becoming the Flash, I found a newspaper from the future, where her by-line on an article said that she married me. That it was written by Iris West-Allen. This last year, we finally got together and we really felt something, and I thought that future was going to come true. I even asked her to marry me. But then I saw the name on the article change." He took a breath.

"A lot to process, honestly, but keep going." Kara said.

"Well, at first I thought it was because she died, and going crazy about saving her, I ignored my friends. I almost lost Caitlin to Killer Frost, HR was killed by Savitar, and I went to Speed Force Prison. I even almost lost Cisco." He said, shaking his head. "I thought about all this a couple months ago, but still brushed it aside for a while. But now, these thoughts were in my head, and afterwards, I started noticing things, and I realized, Iris didn't truly love me. She probably convinced herself that she was the Flash's wife, or something else, I don't know, but it wasn't love. I realized the name on the future newspaper changed simply because I was falling out of love for her, and that she never had any for me. Jay was right. No one can predict the future, because it is constantly changing, determined by little things like these that no one can foresee." He finished.

"Gosh, that's heavy, Barry. Well, if you're sure you're okay, it's fine. But hey, if you ever feel like you're not fine, you know which Earth to visit. Alright?" Kara said to Barry, with an authoritative voice.

"Yes, Ms. Zor El." Barry said, raising his hands slightly in mock surrender.

"Good Boy." Kara grinned, patting his head.

"What are you two talking about?" Revan said, as he and Caitlin came up to Kara and Barry.

"Well, I'll tell you later. It's a long story." Kara said, snuggling up to Revan beside him.

"Well I have some long stories to tell you too, Barry." Caitlin said.

"I'll look forward to them, Dr. Snow." Barry said, his signature grin shining through.

"Alright guys, we'll get going." Caitlin now said, and Barry agreed.

"Alright, I'll see you two again." Revan said to Barry and Caitlin, moving for a hug. Kara joined the hug too, as the four promised to get together again. Then Barry and Caitlin left through a breach, and the party slowly died down as the rest of their friends went home as well.

After all was calm, Revan and Kara got under the covers of Kara's bed as usual.

"You know, I rarely stay at my apartment anymore." Revan said.

"Mr. Snow, are you saying that we should move in together?" Kara said, snuggling up closer to Revan.

"Um… I mean, I guess I was saying that… my apartment just staying empty is a waste of space, so… I should give it up and just… live where I usually sleep, you know…" Revan stuttered as Kara's face was mere inches away from his. He sighed. "Screw it. Kara Danvers, may I move in with you here? If not now, soon?" he said, staring straight into those bright blue sapphires.

"Yes, Revan Snow. Yes you may. Soon." Kara smiled, her eyes narrowing, mischief sparkling in them. "We do have some things to sort out, but… soon." She said, her voice barely a whisper.

"Can't wait." Revan said, before Kara devoured his lips with her own, grabbing onto his neck and pulling him close, closer than humanly possible, as he kissed her back passionately, his arms tightly around her body, travelling everywhere, before settling at her waist. His fingers wiggled their way onto her soft warm skin that peeked out from under her little t-shirt, before his hand slowly began travelling up her shirt, feeling her warmth over her bare skin. Kara moaned into the kiss, before one her hands left his neck, and worked its way up Revan's own t-shirt, grazing his skin as she felt his well built physique. The world slipped away, as the two heroes were in bliss with each other, warmer than anything in the cold embrace of the night.

X-X-X-X-X

Ahh it's been a while since I wrote Revan and Kara. I'm back with more StarSteel! That's what I'm calling them.

I hope you like what I did with this Christmas themed chapter, even though it's nowhere near Christmas IRL.

Now I have a couple future plans, but I'll soon have a poll for a couple things here. I am going to bring Reign in, as I'm sure some of you already guessed from that part at the DEO here, but it won't be nearly as long as it was in the show. Probably a couple chapters and done.

Further, I broke up WestAllen. It's NOT because I have anything against Candice Patton. I don't, and she is a very good actress, and that is true. It's only her script that makes her seem so… boring to me. And honestly, WestAllen seems so forced, with so little chemistry, no natural growth. SnowBarry has more chemistry in one episode than WestAllen does in entire seasons. Whupps, SPOILER! Yeah I'll introduce SnowBarry. The best ship in the Flash, except crossovers, of course. It'll be a little one-shot featuring the Barry and Caitlin shown here, that I'll write in a few weeks' time, so stay tuned. Side note: I also can't fully blame the writers, because a writer knows exactly what they're doing with a character, so I'm pretty sure they just wanna torture us with dreams of SnowBarry and realities of WestAllen, making Iris sound dumb and arrogant, while making Caitlin the perfect wife for Barry.

Also, guys! Go check out my other two stories, they're both SuperFlash, but one of them is in the future. Have a look at them and let me know what you think. Thanks for reading through my shameless self promotion, do review to let me know what you think and I'll see you guys soon. Peace!
