Author's Note
Alright, we are back with another chapter. This one kicks off the Deliora arc and actually covers quite a bit of ground. Hope you enjoy.
The Greyhound: Part 2, Old Demons
Chapter 15
He left the next morning without a word.
The train ride to Hargeon port was simple enough, his problem was finding a boat captain who was willing to take him to his location. Apparently, the island was considered to be cursed by the locals, something about being a home for demons.
What nonsense.
So in the end he just decided to borrow a vessel. Don't worry he would give it back, maybe. Wasting no time at all, prepping the ship began.
He would be there in a few hours.
Back at Fairy Tail, Mira was giving Makarov some concerning news. "Master one of the S-class quests from the second floor is missing," she reported.
"Hmm? I don't remember issuing one. Which request was it?" he asked
"The Galuna Island quest."
Her words gave him pause.
Hmm. Wasn't that where Kinzo said he was going? Did he perhaps take it?
"Mira before you locked up, Did you see Kinzo move from his spot?"
That made her think.
"No Master… Wait, do you think he took it?"
Taking a mission without permission or even informing them did sound like him.
"He said he was traveling there so it's possible, but we can't be sure."
"I know who took it." Called a voice from the second story. It seemed Laxus was hard at work being an ass again. "I saw a flying cat stop by the quest board yesterday before I left."
"Happy and Natsu… what were they thinking?" Mira said with worry.
"They weren't," Makarov responded.
"But tell me what were you thinking when you let them run off Laxus?" The old man asked through barely contained anger.
The lightning mage just smirked.
"All I saw was a cat holding a piece of paper, how was I supposed to know they'd run off and do something stupid?" He replied with poorly feigned innocence.
Makarov was seething "Laxus go get them!"
"Heh, no way 'gramps' I've got better things to do. Send your loyal dog to go get them."
"Do not call him that! ...Laxus you're the only one here with the strength to bring Natsu back by force right now. And since Lucy isn't here yet I can only assume he took the girl with him, so her life is at stake too. I would send Erza but she's out of town until this afternoon!"
Gray shot up at his words. "I can't just take that lying down Master. I'll bring them back."
As Kinzo was finally setting out onto the open sea he had no way of knowing the fight that was taking place back at the port.
"You really messed up this time, flame brain! Master sent me to bring you back."
"Bring it on frosty! You don't scare me!"
…
That fight ended with Gray being TKO'd and abducted. Kinzo would have been laughing at his brother's situation if he knew about it.
...
And as the rouge finally reached the Island's beach, he couldn't have known that three Fairy Tail mages (And Happy) were crashing onto the coast opposite his location
"What happened to the boat driver!?" Lucy cried as a massive wave forced them to capsize.
Natsu was in the middle of throwing up as it happened, and Gray, well. He was looking for his clothes for quite a while after they hit the sand.
It was the middle of the night and his employer wasn't expecting him until tomorrow, so he decided to set up camp in the woods.
The wildlife was nothing to worry about so he could build it out in the open. There was however a massive rat running around in his area that was strangely wary of people.
The only other notable fact about the Island was that there was a layer of hardened magic floating above it, which was causing the moon to appear purple… ya he was gonna be asking his client about that one.
But besides that he 'slept' in peace, the only noise coming from the forest around him.
On the other side of the Island, our trio managed to meet up with the local villagers, who had put out the request.
Though on their way they ran into a rather large rat. Natsu made quick work of it.
The villagers were friendly enough people, but sadly were being affected by the purple moon. Its light slowly transforming parts of their bodies into grotesque animal-like limbs. They were turning into demons.
Desperate to help they asked what the job entailed.
"We need you to destroy the moon!"
"..."
they had no words
Deciding to just end it there and pick things up again when the sun rose everyone turned in for the night.
...
The villagers had given them a hut to share, and while Happy, Gray, and Natsu were out cold Lucy just couldn't manage to get any sleep.
"I swear if these two don't stop snoring! Hey, hands off buddy!" She screamed at Natsu who had moved in his sleep.
When he awoke the next morning Kinzo just followed the instructions his client provided and started walking towards a temple. Who was the client again?
"Zalty," he said, reading over his job info. Weird name.
Regardless, he marched to the temple. A massive stone construct, covered in moss and vines. Appearing somewhat like a pyramid with steps leading to the top, and a massive entrance leading inside. Seeing nothing of interest at the top he chose to enter instead, finding himself in a sizable common area.
He intended to wait for his employer. But after exploring the inside for a good half hour, decided to look through some of the corridors. Only to find they were intertwined with a very intricate cave system.
As he moved through them his visibility drastically decreased as the amount of light entering the tunnel was near nothing. But something else lit the way. Talionis was picking up on something massive about 200 meters further into the cave. So he marched on.
As he reached an exit the stone walls around him widened dramatically into a large cavern. Light was also leaking in from a large hole in the top leading to what appeared to be the very top of the temple. He would have taken the time to examine the area further, but he was understandably preoccupied with something else in the cavern with him.
Three stories tall, at least. A massive beast sat encased in an even larger glacier. The creature was coated in dark blue skin and black hair. Muscles defined its body and a metal crown of sorts covered its forehead. He'd never seen anything quite like it, even so, the beast wasn't what caught his attention. It was the ice.
The frozen substance was absolutely teeming with life, every part of it was glowing. Talionis had never shown him these kinds of colors before. Whatever this thing was, it was special. And as he placed a hand against it the ice reacted to his touch, it was humming.
"Quite a remarkable creature, yes?" a voice echoed out from a nearby cave.
Turning quickly, yet never taking his hand from the ice he met the gaze of a short man with bright green hair. He was wearing a red mask and gray cape which scraped across the ground as he walked, along with a massive grin that put him on edge.
"It is... unique, yes. Care to tell me your name?" He asked the man.
"Zalty, I'm the one who requested your assistance Mr. Greyhound."
Ah, his employer.
"And can I assume you understand the arrangement for this deal?" he asked back
"Of course boy, you play guard dog here for my organization and I provide you with information on a rather notable Dark Guild's most prominent members."
"And how can I know that you really have that information?" Call him paranoid but in reality, this job was too good to be true. Keeping his guard up was a must.
"Now now Mr. Hound, I understand perfectly what your concern is but rest assured I have what is promised. Don't you trust me?"
"Sorry but I'm a bit skeptical of anyone who walks around covered in Transformation Magic." He noticed as soon as he saw the man, that this was not what he looked like. Talionis wouldn't show him the imposter's real appearance, but it would show him that magic was being used.
"..."
He seemed to catch his employer off guard.
"How interesting, it is rather intriguing that you could see through me so easily. But tell me will this affect our agreement?"
He took a moment to think about his answer, but in the end, he already knew "No, as long as you have that information we have a deal. But I do hope you understand what will happen if you cross me." he spoke back in a dangerous tone.
Zalty all but hand waved the threat away.
"Yes yes, you're very scary now shall I start by explaining your duties?"
He didn't like how casually this man took him… he didn't like a lot of stuff about this guy. His demeanor, the Transformation Magic, even his scent was irritating him. It was all so familiar in the strangest way, and he just couldn't figure out how he knew it.
Taking silence as a cue to continue the man went on "Your job is simple, just stay down here and guard our cargo," he said while gesturing towards the monster coated in ice. "Until our rituals are done."
That was something else that bothered him "Why exactly do you need me here? Not that I'm complaining about an easy job, but this just isn't adding up." He was an assassin, an information gatherer, not a damn bouncer. A guard job didn't fit his record at all.
"Ah well you see, the locals on this island seem to have put out a request for help to the mainland. Your job will be to deal with them, should they come before I'm finished here." So that's how it is. He was just insurance in case anyone tried to get their hands on this… thing.
Looking towards the strange animal he asked "What is this thing anyway?"
With his grin widening even more the man answered "The Demon of Destruction Deliora."
"What Deliora?" placing his hand on the ice once more, his mind thought back to the story Gray had told. It hit him all at once.
"But I thought Ur… Oh God, Ur." It all made sense. Why the ice seemed to be alive, why it was trapping such a horrible creature… why it reacted to his touch.
He understood, but he wished he didn't. Iced Shell was truly a curse, even after trading your life to become ice you would still be conscious of what was around you.
She knew, she knew it was him.
She was right in front of him but he couldn't hold her, he could talk but she would never respond. This was her life now, she would be here alone, forever.
This was so confusing, how was he supposed to react? Should he drop everything and move to this island, if only to give her some form of comfort? Should he tell Gray that he found her? How the hell would a normal person react to this?
He didn't know. He needed help, he needed direction, he needed his mother. But one was dead, and the other couldn't reach him.
Resting his head against the cool glacier was the only comfort that came to him, and once again the ice reacted to his touch. The subtle vibrations let him know that she was there, and that made it hurt all the more.
...
"Oh, you were acquainted with the woman who trapped this beast?" Right this guy was still here.
After a moment longer he raised his head from the cold wall, prepared to answer the man, yet unwilling to take his hand away from the woman he cared for. So with a palm still pressed against the ice, he spoke.
"Ur Milkovich, she was my teacher. Practically family." The ice gently shook at his comment, as if approving of the words.
"What, what is this monster doing here!?" Gray cried out. Startling Natsu and Lucy who were with him.
They'd spent the entire day searching through the underground tunnel system looking for any clues about what was happening to the villagers. But after finding a beast encased in ice Gray had started to act erratically.
"Huh? Gray, do you know what this thing is?" Lucy asked
"De-Deliora." he stuttered back through grit teeth.
"The demon of destruction?" She questioned.
"Oi Gray, how do you know this thing?" Natsu chimed in.
He was taking in heavy breaths now, but still managed to answer "It took my home... my family... and my master."
They questioned more, and he debated answering them, but deep down he knew. These were his friends, he trusted them. So he would tell them, he would tell them his story.
And so he did. He spoke of time with his family, and the time of their deaths. Stolen by Deliora as the demon ravaged his hometown. He spoke of meeting Ur, and her disciple Lyon. The years he spent with them learning magic.
He told them of Ur's virtues, how she knew he was angry, and how that anger, that hatred kept him distant from other people. She always called those feelings his darkness and warned him against falling into it. For a time he listened.
He spoke of Kinzo's visit to their mountain, how as a child he was far kinder. Those two years with him were easy. The presence of both Ur and his 'older brother' helped him for a time to forget about the pain Deliora had brought him. But then the boy left, and Deliora came.
He was all too willing to leave. To abandon the family, the mother who had taken him in. And for what, to chase after old demons?
He told them of their last day together. After Deliora had broken his spirit for a second time. He told them how she saved him from his own darkness.
Once and for all.
He was powerless, nothing he'd done worked. His ice wouldn't even stick to the demon's hide. He was so insignificant to the thing it just swatted him aside. He was broken, and forced to watch the demon tear through another town as it had his own.
But then she came. Ur and Lyon ran to him.
She pulled him from the rubble and ordered the other boy to watch him. They needed to stand clear. She would do battle with this monster.
He couldn't recall much, just bits and pieces. But she was incredible, he remembered that much.
The power she used was nothing like what he'd seen in training. Her creations were massive, more than capable of pushing Deliora back or immobilizing the monstrosity. He thought she would win, but that was false hope.
The monster roared, sending out shockwaves, toppling buildings, and firing great blasts of energy destroying even more. The smoke and dust acted as a mist covering the battle behind it. He lost sight of everything after that, and Lyon lost consciousness.
He was forced to wait sometime before his vision would return.
When it did he was so glad, she was there, she was right there. Breathing hard but otherwise fine. Deliora was still standing too but it looked winded if nothing else. She was making progress.
"Ur!" he cried out, and she turned.
"Gray, Lyon good you're safe" She seemed to relax slightly at seeing them in good condition.
"Ur, we need to leave!" he pleaded with her.
"Gray, you saw that last attack. It wouldn't matter how far we ran, it would still catch us."
"No we have to at least try, Ur-"
For a moment his voice died.
"...Ur, what happened to your leg?"
He noticed for the first time just how much she'd lost from this fight. Yes, she was still standing but one of her legs was a prosthetic made of ice. The demon had already taken a piece of her.
"Ur..." He whispered as tears started to color his cheeks.
"Gray, take Lyon and get out of here," she ordered him
What did she just say?
"What? No, no I'm not leaving you here! Not when this is all my fault!"
The words had barely left his mouth before she corrected him "I don't blame you Gray. This isn't your fault. When I really think about it, this needed to happen."
What? What was she talking about, of course, this was his fault. And no this didn't need to happen, he was a fool. He was the fool who was going to get everyone killed.
"Don't worry Gray, I'll seal your darkness. I'll take this pain from you." she said, settling into a battle stance.
He wanted to argue, wanted to scream for her to stop. To tell her he was sorry, that they could just go back to the mountain. He would never disobey her again, he would never run off for something so stupid again. He wanted to tell her that he should have just listened when she said not to go. But the words wouldn't come out, because he recognized that stance.
He, Kinzo, and Lyon had stayed up all night reading about that one spell.
Iced Shell
Ur's figure matched perfectly with the picture from her book. Feet wide apart, arms crossed out in front of her body.
"No," he whispered.
"Once and for all." She said back "Iced Shell!"
Her power exploded, energy practically rolling off of her.
And Deliora found itself pressured, entrapped by massive magic circles. For the first time facing an attack that might just kill it.
With this, they could win. She had bought them victory.
But Ur's body was being consumed in return.
At first, all seemed well, but that illusion left as quickly as it came.
Ice began to coat her legs and arms, crawling ever so slowly up her limbs.
And as the frost drew closer to her heart, she shivered. For the first time in years, she felt cold.
But she couldn't focus on that right now, there was still someone who needed her to be strong if only for a moment longer.
"No, no please! I'll do anything, I'll listen from now on, I swear! I'll do anything you want, just, please. Please don't leave me!"
Her skin started to crack as she smiled at him.
"Don't cry Gray, I'm not leaving. I'll always be watching over you, and I'll keep your demon locked away."
Her body was fading. The shattered ice that was once her body scattering into the snow.
"I don't care, I don't care about any of that! I just need you to stay!"
A soft smile was all she could offer.
"There's nothing for you to fear now, so live."
There was no sound of thunder, there was no blinding light.
As the spell finished its work she simply disappeared.
He screamed.
Screamed for her, begged her to come back. He wept and whimpered at that spot, and all the while right in front of him was Deliora, trapped in what remained of his teacher.
...
When his tears froze over and his cries finally stopped he just felt empty, and did nothing but stare on at the snow.
Long after he lost feeling in his legs.
Long after Lyon awoke and blamed him for her death.
He just kept looking at the snow.
The mages all stayed quite unsure how to respond after hearing such a story, But they didn't have to wait long for a sign about what to do next.
A purple glow started to shine through the opening at the top of the cavern and from what they could see, it was causing the ice to melt.
Gray couldn't move his feet fast enough, desperate to crush whatever monster would attack his master's resting place.
Zalty was soaking in the man's words "So she trained you, I see. What could you tell me about her?"
"Why would I bother telling you anything?" Truly he just wanted to be left in peace, left to catch up with his master even if she couldn't talk back.
"Well, I might be willing to make a trade. You tell me about your relationship with her, and I'll tell you a little about Grimoire Heart. Deal?"
Part of him wanted to tell the man to shove it, but another part of him, the part that had craved revenge for the past 5 years, screeched in his mind to take the deal.
"...When we met, we got off to a rocky start."
As he explained bits and pieces of their time together, he found himself smiling at the memories. Until Zalty asked something that pulled him from those more pleasant thoughts.
"Did she have any children?" The man asked
Sighing seemed to become a regular part of his speech.
"Haaah... ya. She had a daughter."
"What was her name?"
"She never told me, just kept calling her 'my tear' 'my tear'. But I think I know what she meant now."
"Do tell."
He looked toward the green-haired man for a moment before telling him.
"No, I've told you more than enough. Now it's your turn."
Seeming to agree, the shorter man relented. "Alright, alright. I'll let you in on a little secret." He said while leaning closer and lowering his voice.
"It seems as though Grimoire has managed to sneak one of their members onto the Magic Council."
…
"NO SHIT!" he yelled back "I already knew that! No, actually I was forced to find that out the hard way!" All he could do was clutch his head and let irritated sounds come out.
Zalty was smirking, more than usual. That pissed him off "Give me something I can actually use!"
"Ah ah ah, that wasn't the deal. To anyone else in the country that would be considered invaluable information. But I may be willing to tell you more if you continue with your story." he taunted "I happen to know the location of a certain Grimoire fire mage as we speak." That caught his attention, the chance to find Zancrow was not something he could pass up.
"But first, tell me more about this daughter."
"... She's dead." he bit back.
"Hmm, really? The way you spoke it seemed as though you'd met the girl?"
"I… did?" he questioned himself.
"But didn't you say she was dead?" the man pressed.
"Haah, I was told she was dead, but the way things are looking that may not be true." He honestly didn't know how to talk about this, it was hard to keep straight everything that had happened even in his own mind. Let alone trying to explain it to someone else who didn't know anything.
"You seem discouraged. Is it a bad thing that she's alive?" The man questioned.
His response was immediate.
"No, it's not. She just… She's not the kind of person I was expecting." Keeping things vague would be best.
"What's wrong with her being a little different than you imagined?"
"It's not like her personality is the problem (Though she was a bit on the sadistic side) she's just… on the wrong side of things."
That little statement caused Zalty to think.
"Oh, and for someone in the middle of a war with Grimoire that can only mean… Oh ho ho, a good girl gone bad it seems? Hehe." he chuckled to himself. "Even so she is your master's daughter, so what will you do?"
His employer's attitude toward everything was a little too nonchalant for his liking, but he would deal with it for now.
"I don't know, I just dislike the situation as a whole." he finished, pressing his hand against the ice once more, appreciating the presence of his mentor.
"Alright boy, I'll tell you where he is if you can answer me just one more question." He had his attention.
"Would you help her? This girl, if she needed it, or does your grudge with Grimoire take precedence?"
"...Depends on what she's asking for, I suppose. She's Ur's daughter so naturally, I want to help her, but… she's made the situation rather complicated for me. And we're not exactly on the best of terms right now."
"Oh, so you wouldn't help the damsel in distress?" Zalty teased
"Take my word for it, that woman is no damsel." All his employer did was smile at the comment.
Alright, he'd followed through on his end.
"Now tell me where Zancrow is."
The man only shook his head in an amused manner.
"Yes yes, last I heard-" he didn't get to finish as a bright light took their attention away from each other and towards the ceiling.
Vibrant purple light was falling down on them, covering the entire cavern. It was quite a beautiful sight but then Talionis saw and his palm felt the effect it was having on Ur's ice body.
The glacier was reacting violently. Constantly shaking in erratic intervals and giving off a terrible green color. Amidst the rapid change, he almost missed it, the drops of water falling down the sides of the frozen mass.
Ur's ice was melting
She was in pain, she was dying.
His gun was out and pressed against Zalty's head in no time flat.
"Stop This NOW!" he roared.
He didn't know what it was but he didn't care, Ur was clearly in pain and her unmeltable ice was being reduced to water puddles.
The man just kept smiling "Now now, should you really be focusing on me? Or should you be paying more attention to the people upstairs who are putting poor little Ur through so much pain?" He taunted while turning to walk away. "Make your choice."
There was no choice to make. Taking a half-second to look back at Ur he holstered the weapon, and then started booking it for the top of the temple.
...
Once he was gone Zalty paused before smiling and removing his mask. His appearance flashed and in the place of a short man now stood a beautiful woman in her early twenties. Ultear had been there in disguise the entire time and used the opportunity to 'interrogate' the boy.
His answers were rather intriguing and of course "It's so fun to mess with him." she giggled to herself. Well, why stop here.
Transforming back into Zalty, the woman in disguise made her way to the top as well.
Natsu and Gray had reached the top of the temple in minutes and Lucy wasn't far behind. When they arrived they had the sense to hide and observe the situation.
Before them were 4 people. 2 men, one with blue hair and bushy eyebrows, the other shirtless and appearing like a dog man. 1 woman with long pink hair, and their leader who appeared to be male wearing a long cloak plus a helmet with horns and a ponytail.
Just behind them were dozens of people all wearing hoods and bowing down to the purple moon.
"Sir it seems as though the villagers have sought help from the mainland, and I've gotten word that a group of people has been snooping around the temple." the girl reported.
"Hmm, then they will need to be dealt with." The helmet-wearing leader responded.
"That voice, I know that voice." Gray thought to himself.
"You and the others prepare to wipe the village out. We have come too far to risk any interference now."
Oh ya, he knew that voice. He wanted to talk to the man. But with what he just said, punching him seemed more reasonable. He would need to act fast though, because Natsu was clearly about to jump in headfirst.
He needed to be faster
"Ice-Make: Wave!" The boy cried as he jumped from his hiding place behind the bush, sending a layer of jagged ice toward his opponent.
"Ice-Make: Wave!" was called in return as his target sent back an identical ice attack. The only distinguishing feature being the slight color difference between the two.
As the waves met they seemed to cancel each other out causing the ice to shatter onto the ground.
"Oh it seems I've found our pests. Now to deal with them. Ice-Make: Birds!" The man said, sending his next attack.
Gray didn't have the time to call the man out or ask him to stop. All he could do was block.
"Ice-Make: Shield!" he called, setting up a defensive barrier between him and the flying fowls he knew all too well. And since he knew them so well, he should have expected what came next.
The birds flew around his shield and slammed into his chest knocking him to a knee. "Damn." he thought, trying to collect himself after the impact.
He didn't get it. Didn't understand why this man he thought he knew was doing this, why he was tormenting these villagers, why he was hurting Ur. In the end, it didn't matter, if he wanted a fight he would get a fight.
"Ice-Make: Hammer!"
As Kinzo touched the top of the temple he immediately spotted Natsu's pink hair hiding behind a bush, and Gray's little fight in the clearing. "What the hell are they doing here?" he questioned.
… Wait, was Gray's opponent using ice too?
Why did it look so familiar- "Damn it Lyon! What the hell is wrong with you!" he raged in his mind.
Connecting the dots for who Gray's current combatant was.
Why their old training partner was in any way involved with what they were doing to Ur he didn't know, but he was gonna find out. And if he didn't like the answer he was gonna wring the little Shit's neck.
He considered jumping straight into the fight but decided he should touch base with Natsu and Lucy while he still could. Gray could handle himself, especially against Lyon.
As he spoke a spell was called out "Ice-Make: Birds!" Oh no.
"He's still using that annoying ass spell 6 years later huh?" regardless he reached Natsu and Lucy in seconds.
"Explain the situation to me," he said from behind, startling the blonde, though Natsu seemed indifferent to his presence.
With the sight of Gray's fight in the background, the dragon slayer was eager to join in on the action. Talionis was his only warning before the boy shot forward and cried "Fire Dragon's Roa-"
"Metal-Make: Glove!"
"-Guah!"
As the fire mage was about to level the top part of the temple, Kinzo covered his hand in a thin metal glove and gripped the boy's face. Covering his mouth and absorbing the Fire Magic he released, before slamming his pink-covered head back to the ground.
The dragon slayer was up in a split second. "Oi, what's your deal this time!" the memory of being thrown to the ground during the Lullaby fight still fresh in his mind.
"Are you an idiot?" the metal worker asked back. "Do you even see what's happening behind their fight?"
At the question, he took a look behind Gray and the helmet dude's brawl and noticed a bunch of hooded people bowing down to a purple stream of moonlight. "...and?" he questioned, still not getting it.
"They're using some kind of magic from that light to melt a glacier they have downstairs. I've never seen a spell like this one before and have no idea what hitting it with a foreign spell would do. So maybe we should think twice before mixing in a half-ton of Fire Magic!"
Ah, that's what his deal was "Then what the hell should I be doing?" the boy asked in irritation.
...
"Sherry, kill off the villagers!" They heard in the distance "Yes sir!" came the quick reply of a pink-haired girl before jumping onto a large rat-like animal and racing away.
…
"Alright you wanna help, then stop her," he commanded, Natsu was all over it. Racing off at breakneck speeds
He caught up to the girl before she could even leave the top of the temple. But Lyon saw him coming. "Ice-Make: Diamond Cage!" he yelled from across the opening, sending the attack at an unsuspecting Natsu.
The fire mage's body was covered in a thick layer of Ice, limiting his movements and making him appear like a snowman. That alone would have been troublesome enough, but he was also right at the edge of the temple… where the stairs back down started. Ya, Natsu was rolling down the side of the building going at least Mock 2.
How? How was this kid such a powerhouse and such a moron at the same time?
Once again a heavy sigh left Kinzo's lips, before glaring up at Lucy. The girl recoiled heavily from the look. "You, go help whatever villagers they were talking about… and try not to screw it up." he barked
She was more than willing to leave immediately and ordered Happy to fly them down. But before she left she asked him "What are you gonna do?"
Looking back at the blonde he said "I'm on babysitting duty." before turning towards the world's two most immature ice mages.
Author's note
Well, there you have it. I made this chapter a bit longer because the last couple were kinda short, hope this makes up for it. Thank you all for reading, see you in a few.
Magic
1) Metal-Make Magic like ice make... but with metal
2) Speed Magic (Potential energy magic- p.s. I made this up so you won't find it on a wiki... I think.) so any time you see Conversion Leap (speed boost) or Kinetic Decay (stealing something else's speed and trapping it in place)
3) Telekinesislifting things with one's mind etc.
4) Re-Quip (can't believe I forgot he can do this) no armor just items/weapons
Tools
1) His Revolver- Iron Maiden (two types of ammo revealed. Puncture rounds and Flashbang rounds)
2) The rings his mother gave him - can be molded into other objects and when spun together replay a recorded message.
3) The magic absorbing metal - He can choose to make his weapons out of this or other kinds of normal metal (iron, steel, etc.)
4) The Eye of Talionis - replacing his right eye, it allows the user to see magic (Ethernano)
5) Isacc Colt's journals - three journals belonging to his father
6) metal woven into his hair - this will not play a major role for most of the story but I may as well mention it so people don't forget.
