"Do you think she'll wake up? It has been two weeks, babushka," I told her.

"She will. Look at her, her normal color is back, she's glowing beautifully." She told.

"What if I heal her?" Lissa asked.

"No, let her heal by herself. This time, it's different. So don't try to heal her." Babushka told.

"I'm leaving now. If anything unusual happens come to me." She continued and left. Leaving us alone.

"Can all of you give me a moment with her alone?" I asked them. They nodded, kissed her on the cheek, and left.

I closed the door and went near her.

"Roza" I whispered holding her hand in mine.

"It has been too long milaya, too long. Please wake up. I want to hear you, I want to see your smile, your beautiful eyes. I want you, please wake up." I whispered hoping that she could hear me.

"I made a mistake. I shouldn't have told you those horrible things. I shouldn't have left you alone. You shouldn't have gone through everything alone. I should have stayed there with you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Wake up milaya please wake up."

It has been two weeks. Two weeks but she hasn't woke up. She's alive but she has not woke up.

Flashback- Right after Rose died.

I have to do something. I can't take her to Lissa. It'll take a long time. I only have 10 seconds to bring her back. Think Dimitri, think! Think something. I looked around helplessly. I saw a guardian running towards us.

"Rose, Rose, wake up, we won. Wake up" He screamed while sobbing. "She, she was fine. She was amazing. She blew up almost all of their soldiers by fire. She can't die. Not she too." He told caressing her face. I looked at him instantly.

"She blew up them using what?" I asked him.

"Fire." He told.

Fire. It isn't her element. "Chaos", by chaos we can make other elements. She did it with fire, which means I can bring her back by turning it into spirit.

I placed my hands on her wounds and concentrated on my memories of her. Her gorgeous smile, eyes, and every other thing made her remarkable. I wanted her alive. I needed her alive. I can feel my powers going to her. I'm being week but I wanted her alive. Seconds later I felt a heartbeat. I looked at her and she's breathing, her cut has healed. That guardian gasped. I collapsed on the ground. She's alive!

I don't know what happened after that but when I woke up I was in Belikov land. From what I heard Christian and Adrian arrived with soldiers after a little while and brought us back. Yeva treated me. She told me, I mean us, that Rose has to heal on her own. She told us that since she wasn't healed by spirit but chaos, now she has to heal on her own. We've been waiting but still, she's the same.

I canceled the marriage with Princess Natasha. She understood what's going on.

I stood up and kissed my Roza's head. "Wake up, please," I whispered and left the room. I went to my room. I decided to think about something else. Anything else. I started working but stopped when I heard a knock.

"Come in," I told, and my adviser, Mark came inside.

"Yes, Mark?" I asked him.

"This came today." He told me and gave me a letter with a snake symbol on it?

"Mazur?" I asked him and he nodded.

"What does he has to do with me?" I mumbled and read the letter.

"Mark, he's going to come here next week," I told him.

"Your majesty what should we do? He is zmey after all, I don't think that it's wise to trust him after all," He told me.

"We'll see but for now prepare to meet him. There must be a reason." I told him. Suddenly someone started banging on my door.

"Come in," I told. Just when I finished Carolina barged into the room. I got up.

"Caro, what is it?" I asked her hurriedly. She panted placing a hand on her chest.

"Dimka Rose, Roza she's..." Everything zoned out from my mind.

"What about her?" I asked.

"She... she," I don't have time for this.

"Caro create a goddamn sentence. Damn it!" I told. If there's anything about me, I don't curse my family. But this time I wasn't thinking.

"She woke up!"

...

"Roza" I looked at her as soon as I went inside. Her head snapped at me and within a second her eyes were filled with tears.

"Dimitri." She whispered and broke down into tears. I immediately went to her, Alberta stood and gave me space. I took her face in my arms and wiped those tears coming from her eyes.

"You scared me," I told and kissed her forehead.

"I...I'm s...sorry. I ...I had to." She told. I touched her forehead with mine.

"I thought I lost you. I thought that" I gulped, "I thought that you left me. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. You shouldn't have gone through it alone. I told terrible things to you. I'm so so sorry. You have no idea how sorry I am. Seeing your life leaving you, was the most dreadful thing I've ever seen. I'm so sorry." She shook her head.

"No, I should have told you. I didn't. I'm sorry." She told. I bent down and touched her lips with mine.

"I love you," I whispered after we broke our kiss. She smiled.

"I love you too." She told me.

"ROSE" A high-pitched yelp barged into the room. Lissa. I got up. She stood there covering her mouth as a sob broke from her. Rose extended her hands towards her and she dashed herself towards Rose's opened arms.

"I'm so sorry. I thought that... I'm so sorry." She started talking but Rose stopped her.

"Shh... shh... Liss, I'm fine. I'm fine. Oh my god, I missed you." She hugged her tighter closing her eyes.

"I'm sorry. I should've known. I'm sorry. Lissa murmured. Rose shook her head.

"And thank you, for saving our country," Lissa told pulling away from the hug.

"Always. That's what a guardian is supposed to do." She told.

"You're the most astounding guardian in this world," I told her.

"I want it back, my guardian title." She told. "Do you?" Lissa asked. She nodded.

"I'm not a princess." She told her. Lissa smiled.

"If that's what you desire," Lissa told. A knock interrupted us. Adrian, Christian, and Eddie came inside.

"You terrified us, little guardian," Adrian told giving a kiss to her cheek.

"Sorry." She told him.

"Glad you're fine. So so glad." Christian told. "And we're extremely sorry," He told. Rose shook her head. Eddie stared at her unbelievably.

"Is she there?" He asked her. She nodded smiling.

"She's waiting for you so go and get her." Eddie nodded with tears in his eyes and came closer to her. "Thank you, so much. " He told kissing her forehead. He looked at me and I nodded. he mumbled a thank and left the room.

After a few seconds, my family came to visit her. "I have to announce something," I told. Everybody looked at me.

"I'm willing to break a tradition. I will marry Guardian Rosemarie Hathaway if she wants to," I told them looking at Rose. She gasped and covered her mouth nodding her head. Everyone looked at me surprised.

"I approve of this. Rose has proven more than once that she's a wondrous person. This tradition of marrying a royal is not good. No one should give up their title for marriage. Marriage is about love, about trust. Not about a title," Carolina told. I looked at her thankfully.

"You can be both queen and a guardian. No one will question. You can still protect our kingdoms." Yeva told.

"Yeah she can but for now rest," Vika told. We all nodded. They started leaving the room. I gave a kiss on her forehead and got up.

"Dimitri," She called me. I looked at her.

"Lay with me." I nodded and went near her lying on the bed and hugged her close. I buried my face in her hair inhaling her sweet fragrance of fresh flowers.

...

We all were busy preparing our kingdom for King Mazur's arrival. Rose healed quickly. She's not a guardian anymore since she'll be marrying me. She's going to be the queen but she still can go fighting. She's going to be the first warrior queen in history. And I'm so proud of that.

Dashkov kingdom is now ours. Adrian, Christian, Lissa, Rose, and I decided to unite our kingdoms. Also, Yeva told that it's time for Lissa and Christian to get married. So we decided to marry together. They're practically sisters so they wanted that. So next month we're getting married. On the same day, we're going to unite our kingdoms. They wanted me and Rose to be their emperors. And after a lot of convincing, we agreed.

Eddie brought Jillian back. I can remember her but she's grown up now. They didn't want to wait so they got married.

"Your majesty, he's here," Mark told me and I nodded.

"Is my family there?" I asked him, he nodded. "Yes your majesty, so does Princess Vasilissa and His Majesty King Ozera." He told.

"What about King Ivashkov?" I asked him.

"I'm sorry your majesty but he told me that he'll be there soon and also Soon-to-be queen Rosemarie's waiting for you." I nodded and thanked him.

"I'll be there with her. You may leave." I told him. He bowed and left. I got up and exited my room and went to Roza's one. Her maid informed her that I'm here and soon enough she came out. She looked beautiful in that gown. Yes, she started wearing dresses. But whenever we're training she changed into guardian attire.

"Your majesty," She courtesy with a teasing smirk. "Soon to be my queen," I extended my hand with the same tone. She laughed taking my hand.

"You look so beautiful, milaya," I told her as we started walking. She was wearing a flowery embroidered dress matching it with her mother's necklace.

"Thank you, comrade. You know I have this different feeling that today's special like something's going to happen," She told me, I looked at her.

"Like what?" I asked her.

"I don't know." She told me. "Hey, everything will be alright," I told her moving my hand to cup her cheek. She smiled. "I hope so, I don't want to murder anyone so soon." She told me and I laughed. Soon we came to the throne room.

"His Majesty King Dimitri Belikov and Soon-to-be- the queen is entering." Soldier announced. The door opened and we went inside. As soon as the door closed my eyes fixed on the person, I was dreading to meet.

King Ibrahim Mazur. King of Turkey or mostly known as Mazur Land. So many people know him as Zmey. He's a widower. His queen Janine Hathaway died a long time ago. He never married ever again. He and my father were not on good terms. He isn't like any other royal. He's different. No one can specifically point out what's different about him, he's just different.

Even though my eyes were on him, his were not on me. They were on... my Roza. His mouth was hanging open, and his eyes looked like they will barge out at any time. I placed my hand protectively on Roza's waist.

"This... this can't be true. Rosemarie?" He mumbled. We all looked at Rose. She squinted her eyes like she's remembering something. She closed them tightly and opened them. He came closer to us and raised his hand like he wanted to touch her. At that time I noticed the wristband he's wearing. It has the same eye-shaped jewelry.

Rose came closer to me. She's scared. She looked at him narrowing her eyes like trying to remembering where she met him.

"Roza, do you know him?" I asked her in a soft voice.

"I feel like I know him, but I can't remember where," She told taking a step back.

"Of course you can't. You were so small." Ibrahim told taking a step closer to her.

I looked at them. They share the same hair, same skin color, and same eyes. And most importantly Rose is a Hathaway. Could he be... could he be her father?

"Roza, can you please tell us your mother's name? I know that it's personal, but please," I asked her.

She wasn't listening to me, Ibrahim approached her and touched her cheek. Just when he did that, she visibly shivered. Goosebumps appearing her skin, not just on her even mine. It felt like some kind of a wall built by chaos was broken.

"Janine Hathaway. Her name was Janine Hathaway." She told him. Gasps were heard from everywhere.

"Father?" She continued. Two drops of tears fell from Ibrahim's eyes. He nodded. "I'm sorry kizm, I'm so sorry." He told.

"So she was a witch?" I asked and Ibrahim nodded.

"Yes, she was a witch. You were an unexpected birth. We just got married but we were middle of a war. You spend two years with us, but when the war became brutal you and your mother needed to stay hidden since you're my heir." He told. I tried to understand all of them.

"What happened after that?" I asked him.

"Your mother took you. I don't know where. She stayed in different places. We wrote to each other. When you turned five, the war became even brutal and I also went to hide. But I took my royal symbol with me. Without it, Dashkov couldn't take my throne. So instead of searching for me, he searched for you and your mother." He told. And he looked down, "I think you know the rest." He told me. I nodded.

"Why didn't you killed him?" I asked him.

"I wanted to, but it wasn't my place to kill him. There's a prophecy told by your mother. She told that someone from the next generation will kill her." He took my hand in his.

"I'm sorry Rose. I'm sorry for everything that happened. All I'm asking from you is don't hate me." He told and I smiled.

"Can't say I'm angry with you. After all, she loved you so much. And everything that happened to me made me the person I am." I told him.

We talked for few more hours about so many things trying to fill those spaces. He gave his permission to my marriage and he even told me to take my title. I told him that I'll think about it.

I can't believe the way life changes. When we think everything's fine, something good or bad happens. And we can't stop them. But I learned something from that. That no matter what happens we have to keep going.
