Castle of the Count de Martel
Woods Near the Castle
Midnight
"Oh, Lucie, I can hear the small creatures scurrying in their burrows. I can see the bark on the trees as clear as day. And I can smell blood," Aurora purred as the two girls stepped into the deep forest a mile or so away from the castle gates.
"It sounds enchanting, Aurora. Oh, how I missed your company and your counsel," Lucie replied, taking Aurora's arm. Her blond hair was tied into loose pigtails, and she looked well-rested and happy. "You know, before I met you, I aimed to throw myself from the tower and end this pain."
Aurora tried to avoid listening to Lucie's heartbeat as it was making her hungry.
"You never told me how you came to be at that awful nunnery, dear Lucie," Aurora mentioned. She looked up at the sky, but clouds covered the stars and a breeze made her cloak flutter. Yet, she felt no chill.
Lucie nodded, her green eyes serious, saying, "My parents died of some plague that took out almost my entire village. I could not have been more than eight summers. I somehow made my way to the next village and they got word to my uncle that I was alive. He came to fetch me and took him to his great stone house. His wife had died birthing my cousin, Guillaume, who was several years older than me. From the start, I did not like the way he looked at me. Leering and shouting at me to do his biding. My uncle let this go on, without a word."
"Your own cousin? Is that how you got those scars and marks?" Aurora asked, stopping to pick a wildflower.
"Nay, that came later," Lucie revealed. "My cousin was stern in matter, even for such a young child. He often accused me of letting boys in the village have their way with me, though I was never alone with any of them. He was the one who engaged in ungodly acts, not me. As we got older, he tried to have his way with me, once when my uncle was at market. I fought him off with a broom and knocked him out. He lied to his father and had him send me away due to realizing that I would never submit to him. My uncle believed his lies and dragged me to the nunnery the next day. He paid the sisters to beat me extra for my 'deceit.'"
Aurora grew angry, and spat, "What folly! Your uncle and cousin are beasts. Shall we go and teach them a lesson about the truth? I will tear their heads from their bodies!"
"No, my lady," Lucie gasped. "They shall answer for their bad acts in good time. The floggings from the nuns taught me that I am stronger than I thought. After many months before you arrival, I learned that I could heal myself. There was a woman in the village who taught me some charms. She knew about my cousin and it was these words that I was able to save myself."
Aurora stopped and raised her arms to the sky. "Dear Lucie, I always suspected it, but you are no mere mortal. You are very special."
"Nay, you are the one blessed with strength and power now, Aurora. I am just determined not to let my uncle and cousin survive me. I see now that I must live in order to get my true revenge," Lucie shared.
"Nay, me thinks you are a wise woman. My father may have tried to purge these lands of those stronger and more powerful than he, but I can now see the strong spark of magic in you. You need not fear it any longer," Aurora proposed.
"But the Church? Are they not coming for me? If what they say is true and I am of witch blood, they will burn me," Lucie shuddered. The cool breeze blew through the trees again and she pulled her shawl tighter around her.
"You are a witch, but they will never burn you. I will let no one harm you. Now, I must feed more. The creatures that have taken over our castle are keeping me weak. But I know with my blood that I can fight them off and help Tristan reclaim his position. Together, we will deal with the Church and those who harmed you," Aurora vowed. She grabbed Lucie's hands and they embraced.
But the smell of Lucie's blood was too sweet.
"Oh dear, Lucie, I am so hungry. My dear, please do me this favor and run," Aurora staggered back. "I fear I cannot resist my hunger."
"What? Oh, Aurora, I do not fear you," Lucie said kindly. "I know you would never harm me."
As she spoke, Aurora's eyes grew dark and her fangs extended. She stepped closer to Lucie, who fell back from her friend's terrifying face in fear.
"A-Aurora, w-what is h-happening?" Lucie stammered, as she scuttled back on the ground. Her mind was black of her protective charms. She could not form a thought.
"Do not be so sure," a voice said from the edge of the forest.
"Who is it?" Aurora called. She saw a blond man in a fine tunic and supple leather boots, standing there.
"It is me, Niklaus, my lady. We have been looking for you," Klaus said, with a deep bow. He looked behind him. "Elijah, take Lucie back to the castle. I should like to speak with the Lady Aurora."
Elijah put an arm under Lucie and vamped her away.
"You were about to eat your friend, kind lady," Klaus said with a smirk.
"Sir, you are mistaken. I am a bit peaked, but I have my whits about me. I am under complete control," Aurora tittered.
Klaus rolled up his right sleeve.
Klaus bit into his own wrist and let the blood drip unto the forest floor. Aurora breathed in the rich aroma and snarled. Her eyes and face completely blackened, her fangs dripped with saliva. With only her instinct guiding her, Aurora vamped to Klaus' wrist. She drank deeply.
Klaus was enchanted, her brushed back the lady's long red hair out of her face as she greedily drank his blood. As she finished and took a breath, her green eyes met Klaus'.
"Thank you, my lord," Aurora giggled, wiping her face with her slender, pale hand. "That was the most delicious thing I have ever had, even better than Papa's best vintage."
"Oh, you like wine, eh?" Klaus smiled, putting an arm around her.
"Not as much as I like blood, I suppose," Aurora quipped.
"We have not met properly," Klaus stated. "I am Niklaus Mikaelson. And you, my lady, are beautiful."
Aurora smirked, "And you and your brother have tried to usurp my brother's place as count."
Klaus steered her back to the castle. "Nonsense. We are only here for protection. We have no claim to your brother's lands or title. But now, we much help keep you safe."
"I do not need your protection, Sir, nor does my brother. We are strong enough to deal with any enemies that present themselves. Plus, we have an army," Aurora pointed out.
"Aye, but who is going to protect you from yourself. Your lust for blood is great right now. You must fight it or it can become all consuming. Believe me, we had no one to teach us this discipline when we first...turned. I know you have no reason to trust me, but everything we do, is for your own good," Klaus explained.
"You sound like the nuns at the Abbey before making me go into a week of silent mediation for my sins," Aurora snapped. "I need not your counsel!"
Klaus chuckled, "Do you need your brother's? There is he and I do not think I have ever since Tristan so angry. I will take my leave here, Lady," Klaus smiled, only pausing to kiss her right hand goodbye.
"Actually, I could use an escort, Lord Niklaus," Aurora gulped, as Tristan stomped up to her as she and Klaus went through the castle gates.
"Aurora! We thought you ran away again!" Tristan yelled. Klaus patted Lucien on the arm and asked him to walk back to the castle with him to let the siblings talk.
"I was going to hunt with Lucie, by my side. Tristan, do not be angry. I did not hurt her," Aurora muttered, trying to breeze past him.
Tristan grabbed her arm. "Hurt her? You are a danger to every human around you. The amount of blood you get a night is adequate to sate you. To take more is to risk becoming a glutton, like the Lord Kol! Do you want that?" Tristan sneered. He had already taken Aurora hunting after darkness fell. He had compelled an old man and let her drink a small amount from him before erasing his memory.
"What I want, Tristan, is for you to act like the Count you were born to be. If Father saw you...," Aurora begun. She trailed off at seeing the hurt on Tristan's face.
"Father is dead, Aurora. Do you really wish for me to send away the Mikaelsons. Tell me and it shall be done," Tristan said bravely.
Aurora's mind flashed back to her experience with Niklaus. His handsome face and warm voice sparked feelings in her that she had long buried.
"No," Aurora finally said. "I am fond of Rebekah and...Lord Niklaus was just very kind to me. Could you rid them from this castle even if you wanted to? Answer me truly!"
Tristan's face fell. "Nay, we need them. I spent much time hunting and gambling when Father was alive. I do not know how to run things. And like you, my lust for fresh blood is only curbs by the Lords Elijah and Niklaus. We are not ready to rule, not with these new powers."
Aurora embraced Tristan. He heard out his arm that was holding a torch. Elijah had warned him that fire was dangerous to their kind. "Than we shall learn. I almost fed from my dearest friend, Lucie. I almost lost control. Oh, Tristan, I shall try to obey from now on."
"That is goodly news. But I am going to needs punish you for leaving your quarters," Tristan informed her.
"Punish me! You cannot mean to send me away again. I do not want to leave," Aurora erupted, her eyes filling with tears.
Tristan softened. "Nay, I was wrong to have kept you in that nunnery. But there are other ways of punishment. They have been effective on Lucien and me."
"I must be condemned to only drink animal blood! That is too cruel," Aurora wailed, as Tristan led her into a small milking shed.
"Nay, we drink the animal blood to curb our hunger. It is awful, but helps a great deal. I bring you in here to let my hand have a conversation with your behind. It is time you got a good, hard spanking," Tristan determined. He put the torch on a holder on the wall and found a low, wooden stood to sit on.
Aurora chuckled. "Oh, you jest. Very funny. You realize that I am the same as you, fast and my body with heal. Plus, I am no longer a child."
"Aye, but you acted like one," Tristan said. "Plus, do not forget that I have a new strength." Tristan pulled Aurora over his lap so quickly that she had to use her new vampire reflexes to stop her face from hitting the dirt. Before she realized what had happened, Tristan had flipped up her skirts and bared her buttock.
Slap! It took a second for Aurora to feel the result of the burning smack on her right cheek.
Crack!
"Owwwwww, Tristan, that smarts. Stop!" Aurora squeaked. Tristan had never spanked her before. Crack! As the second blow landed on her left cheek, she realized no one had ever spanked her before.
Soon Aurora's feet were drumming on the dirt floor and she was shrieking and hollering for her brother to stop the punishment.
Crack. Crack. Crack. Crack.
Crack. Crack. Crack. Crack.
Aurora scissored her legs and then pounded on the ground as the spanking got harder and faster.
"Awwwwww-Owwwww-nooooooo," Aurora wailed, tears were dripping into the dirt and she tried to push herself up.
"You stop that and take your spanking," Tristan warned. "Or I shall use this strap on you."
"I drank Niklaus' blood. It made me stronger than you!" Aurora snapped.
Aurora turned and saw some sort of harness part hanging on the wall. Her eyes widened but she continued to try to use her new strength to wiggle off of Tristan's lap. Her bottom was now aching and felt scotched. She did not like it one bit.
SMACK! SMACK!
Tristan's hand was also aching as he tried to spank harder. He raised his right knee to raise her bottom more and make it easier for him to swat her sensitive thighs. SMACK! SMACK!
SMACK! SMACK!
Aurora's backside was healing remarkably fast and he was not sure if this was working. Instead of her accepting the punishment, she was fighting him harder.
SMACK! SMACK!
SMACK! SMACK!
At one point, his left arm could barely restrain her as she kicked and bounced over his lap. When she started to curse and threaten him, he knew he had to enforce his earlier threat. He paused and grabbed the strap off the wall. It was too long for him to use in this position, he bared his vampire fangs and cut it to a length he could use. It was about an inch or two across. He held Aurora tighter and brought a short length of the exposed leather down on her pale bottom.
Thwap!
"You son of a bloody w-whore!" Aurora raged as the lick appeared red for a moment and instantly faded.
"You cannot run off. It is dangerous, Aurora. If I did such a thing, Lord Elijah would have been in the same position," Tristan admitted, strapping her again-harder. "And that language! If we were in the castle, I would treat you to a dose of soap in the mouth. Now, settle."
THWAP!
"AHHHHHHHH, I will kill you," Aurora screamed.
THWAP! THWAP! THWAP! THWAP!
Tristan welted Aurora's behind until she broke down sobbing.
"Fine! I s-shall n-not abscondddddd, Tristannnn! Stoppppped," Aurora begged. Tristan dropped the strap and again began to spank Aurora with his recovered palm. Whack! Whack!
The welts on her bottom faded but were replaced by brief handprints. He spanked her sit spots and the tops of her thighs when her behind did grew red. Whack! Whack! Whack! Whack! Whack! Whack!
This must have stung greatly as Aurora finally apologized, "I a-am s-sorrryyy." Tristan stopped spanking and pulled Aurora's skirts back. He sat her up and pulled her on his lap, into a close hug.
Aurora's sobs finally subsided and when she looked at Tristan, she saw tears on his own cheeks.
"I do love you, sweet sister. I hated doing that, but I fear for you," Tristan said, his voice breaking.
"You are crying?" Aurora asked, sniffling.
"Aye, seeing you hurt is something I cannot bear. But I will spank you again should you endanger yourself," Tristan confessed. Aurora threw her arms around him.
"Oh Tristan, you do love me! I am sorry I am so difficult. I promise I shall not give you reason to have to spank me again," Aurora wailed. Tristan was overcome and could only hold her. Tristan dried both of their tears and they exited the shed together.
Lucien was out, breathing heavily. "Oh, I thought I heard shouting. Hurry, the witch hunters are here. They caught Eira and some of the other staff. They said if we do not turn over Lucie, they will kill them!"
Aurora stiffened her back. "They threaten us? How dare they? We shall turn them into dust. Keep our mortal soldiers at bay. This is not a battle for them. I needs see Niklaus at once!"
Aurora stalked off towards the castle.
"Tristan, she is much changed. What happened?" Lucien breathed in shock. He thought she would have been terrified that the castle was under attack.
"She drank Lord Niklaus' blood..." Tristan said dryly. "I spanked her for disobeying, but I am not sure I can stop her from destroying our enemies. She is much changed."
"You spanked her? You are fortunate, she did not give you another thrashing. I have never seen such a fierce look in her eyes," Lucien breathed in awe. "It is quite stirring."
Tristan glanced as his friend, and sometimes enemy, Lucien.
"You needs focus on your Eira. Let me worry about my sister," Tristan reminded him.
Lucien swallowed, "Aye. They have Eira. Let us go. This is not a battle we can fight with swords. We will need our wits and our new found powers to win this one."
The vampires followed Aurora into the castle to formulate a plan to get Eira back and deter the witch hunters.
