Chapter 7: The True Battle
The next day in Narnia had finally arrived. Thousands and thousands of soldiers were readied on the battlefield. Above the field of battle, multiple gryphons flew over the war-torn land of Narnia scouting the skies for any flying creatures. However, soon before the battle was about to begin, the hooves of horses were heard in the far-off distance. Aslan suspected it was men of the White Witch on horseback. But however, he was wrong on his thoughts. It was instead the four Pevensie children from the real world. They went by the names of Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. Aslan wondered if they were coming to the aid of the people of Narnia and the outsiders from Fódlan.
"Peter!" Aslan shouted. "What are you and the rest of your siblings doing here? Don't you know that there is an intense battle going on here?"
"We heard it from one of the gryphons." Peter explained to Aslan. "So, as a result of hearing the news, we came right away to the aid of you and the Narnian army, Aslan."
"Well, that's something we need to talk about." Aslan said.
"What do you mean, Aslan?" Lucy asked.
"We have outsiders from a different land assisting us during this cruel battle." Aslan explained.
"Can you explain more?" Susan asked Aslan.
"Sadly, I cannot squeeze in more time for the explanation, Susan." Aslan said.
"Why not?" Edmund asked.
"Look right there. In the distance far off on to the other side of the field of battle." Aslan said as he looked.
"What is it?" Peter later asked after hearing the words of Aslan.
"The army of Jadis, the White Witch." Aslan responded.
"How can this be possible?!" Edmund asked Aslan. Then suddenly, Mercedes came over to the four children after overhearing their words and said, "None of us know. Not even us outsiders.".
"Who is this girl? She doesn't look familiar to us." Susan asked Aslan.
"Oh, hello! My name's Mercedes. Mercedes von Martritz of the Officer's Academy's Blue Lions class in Fódlan."
"What the heck is she talking about, Susan?" Edmund asked his sister. "We know nothing about that!"
"Mercedes here is an outsider of Narnia." Aslan explained. "She never came here by herself, but with a few of her little friends." When Sylvain heard the words from Aslan, he was offended.
"Well, I'm sorry, sir!" Aslan shouted.
"I suggest you call him Sylvain, Aslan. That's his name." Mercedes said. Then, Aslan's name was shouted out by Byleth.
"What now?" Aslan asked. "Is something bad about to happen?"
"You may want to look at this. It looks terrible from the looks of it." Byleth said to Aslan. But when Aslan looked in the distance to where Byleth was pointing, he was shocked.
Back with the White Witch, she was leading an army of minotaurs and other fantasy creatures through the war-torn land of Narnia. When this hit the eyes of Aslan, he roared loudly so that the entire world can hear his roar. This prompted the White Witch to raise her army up against Aslan. But with Aslan, he has decided that he has had enough of the witch.
"Forward!" Aslan shouted. "Put an end to the White Witch once and for all!" And so, everyone was ready and charged onto the battlefield.
Meanwhile with the White Witch, she raised up a staff and pointed it to the army of Aslan. That was her signal to her army to start charging for Aslan and his army of Fódlan outsiders and fellow Narnians. But with Aslan's army, it was mostly centaurs and warriors on horseback that charged into battle. However, to Aslan's perspective, it was very difficult to identify the army with the greatest number of soldiers due to the equality of each army. However, Aslan's army proceeded without caution and without any complaints whatsoever. However, there was one thing that none of the outsiders from Fódlan knew about. That was the staff the White Witch was using. Little did they know it had the power to petrify people, meaning that the staff could easily turn people into stone. When the White Witch started to use the staff, it was starting to become a major problem not only for the people of Narnia, but for the outsiders from Fódlan, too.
"Gods!" Jeralt said. "What do we do now?!"
"I don't know, Jeralt." Aslan said. "But here's my suggestion: Avoid the staff's powers! Remember: You get hit with the staff's beam, you're petrified into stone!"
"Stone?" Jeralt asked.
"You heard me right. Stone." Aslan said. "So, if you want to live, I suggest you avoid the witch's staff!"
"I'll do the best I can, Aslan!" Jeralt said.
The battle still had a long way to go. Thousands of the White Witch's soldiers were already dead from flying arrows and magic from Annette. However, Rhea was the only one who did not participate as she was overlooking the entire battle. However, she's decided to change her mind. She transformed into a gigantic white-winged creature known as The Immaculate One and flew down to the battlefield.
"What the hell?" Sylvain asked himself.
"Rhea?" Seteth also asked himself. When everyone stared at Rhea, she roared so loudly that it echoed throughout the entire land of Narnia.
"Impossible…" The White Witch said.
"How can one human transform into a humongous white dragon?!" one of the White Witch's men asked.
"Kill the dragon!" the White Witch ordered. And suddenly, huge flying creatures came out of nowhere and were attempting to eat through the scales of The Immaculate One.
"Ugh! You stupid, pathetic, monsters!" The Immaculate One yelled in a demonic voice. Everyone gasped.
"Did that dragon just… talk?!" the White Witch asked herself.
"Looks like it did, Witch." a dwarf answered Jadis, the White Witch. The White Witch then charged for the Immaculate One with her army. However, a few seconds after the charge was ordered, a roar was heard in the distance. It was a giant dragon. However, it was unknown where it came from.
"Where did that dragon come from?" asked Mercedes. "I'm getting quite scared…"
"Mercedes, we must focus on the battle. Focus right now!" Aslan hollered.
"Y-yes, Aslan…" Mercedes said.
"Aslan! Duck down below!" Peter Pevensie yelled as the dragon breathed fierce fire from its mouth.
"A fire-breathing dragon…" Aslan thought to himself. "Must be from the Narnian Dragon Island. I must go and defeat the beast of fire." Aslan later went to defeat the dragon. The others, which consisted of Narnians and outsiders from the continent of Fódlan, were still fighting the White Witch's army.
