(Moving Forward Into The Next Day...)
Kuzuku woke up and early to get ready for today's training. He promised that he'd include Goku today as something new since yesterday was pretty brutal even for his standards. Once he placed his Gi on and tightened his sash, he made his way out of his bedroom and closed the door gently since 21 was sleeping in. He could tell since normally she'd keep him in place with her tail which made it difficult to slip out of her hold without waking her up.
The tailed Saiyan made his way into the living room to only see Caulifla fishing through his fridge while Kale was drying her hair. He smirked at the sight, "I didn't expect you two to be up this early. Especially after yesterday.".
"Morning, ...," Kale yawned.
Kuzuku was taken back by the formality, "Uhh...morning. You know you can just call me Kuzuku. We're all practically around the same age you know.".
"Oh...sorry...I didn't mean to!" Kale stuttered, embarrassed at the fact that she forgot about how old he is. Now that she thought about it, it was strange that someone of his age is mentoring her and Caulifla though she didn't really mind it.
"Come on, Kale! You don't have to feel bad about messing up! I thought I told you to have more confidence in yourself, even if you screw up sometimes," Caulifla encouraged while chewing on some cooked beef from the fridge.
Kuzuku pondered how she managed to cook that so fast until he realized that she probably heated it up with her Ki. He looked at the clock, seeing how it was 9:45 in the morning which was about the time Goku would be out training somewhere by now, "Okay, you two get ready quick. We're going to see Goku in a minute since he's probably out training at this time.".
"Really?! Alright, I'll be ready in a flash! Hurry up, Kale! If we don't go now then that old fart is probably going to die of old age!" Caulifla commanded as she rushed to freshen up. Kale followed suit though Kuzuku highly doubted that Goku would die of old age. It'd probably take a hundred years for him to grow at least one strand of gray hair and that is the least likely scenario. In no time, Caulifla came back with Kale in their previous clothes though something was different. They were torn, ripped, and almost revealing after the training sessions. Also they did smell which Kuzuku didn't approve of.
"Alright, we're ready to go whenever you are!" Caulifla shouted, excitement filling her voice.
Kuzuku chuckled at her enthusiasm, "Well, let's go then. Though, after training today we're going to have to get you some new clothes.". The feisty and timid Saiyans looked down to see what he was talking about and practically blushed heavily at what they saw. Instinctively, they both covered the exposed parts of their bodies: mainly their breast since that area was more exposed than the rest. Caulifla glared at Kuzuku angrily, seeing how he was looking to the side.
"You saw nothing..." she growled.
"Don't worry, I'll try to erase it from my mind...eventually," Kuzuku responded timidly as he did see everything. I mean, he was the one who pointed it out after all. The two female Saiyans didn't want to even look at him and simply walked over to grab his shoulder while he searched for Goku's energy.
After a few minutes, he locked onto his Ki and prepared to teleport them to his location, "Hmm, seems like he's in Otherworld. I wonder where though? Hmm let me see...". Kuzuku focused harder on the surrounding Ki around Goku and smirked as soon as he knew who it was. In a flash, the three Saiyans were teleported out of the room without a trace.
(With Goku And His Family In Otherworld, Grand Kai Planet...)
The sky in Otherworld was as clear as usual with the butterflies flying around the wavy grassy field. The breeze was calm though, it contrasted well with what was going on above one of the many lakes that covered the planet. In the sky were three golden lights that were clashing in a fierce dance. Loud booms echoed through the air as the figures enveloped in such a glow were locked in combat, their fists flying at speeds that made them seem to be a blur to the normal eye. If you look closer, you could see Goku weave under a right jab while pushing off another punch coming from the opposite side. In one motion, he spun around and kicked his attacks away as his Super Saiyan hair flowed with the generated winds. His opponents stopped themselves and rushed at him once more, the green armored man unleashing a barrage of punches in hopes to land a definite blow. Goku smirked and dodged his look-alike's onslaught until he made a fatal error in his defenses. Suddenly, his adversaries's fist suddenly sped up and socked him hard in the jaw while his partner came in with a hard kick to the gut. The hero of Earth gagged as he was sent flying through the sky, performing numerous flips in the air until he halted himself upside down. He rubbed his jaw as it itched with pain, "Owww, man I wasn't expecting your fist to suddenly speed up. I guess you got stronger in that instant, Dad.".
"You let your guard down too often, Kakarot. You may have immense strength but try to not let it get over your head. It's good to have confidence but it may cause your death someday," Bardock scolded, his arms crossed as he floated closer to his son.
Goku turned himself upright and chuckled, "You know, Whis told me the very same thing a while back. I guess old habits die hard.".
"Well kill them faster then," Karroto suggested as he floated next to Bardock who had a mused smile on his face.
Goku cracked his neck to try and loosen it up and replied jokingly, "Well, easier said than done. I swear, it's like I am trying to deal with Majin Buu all over again.".
"Majin what now?" Bardock asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I'll tell you later, it's a long story," Goku snickered.
They were about to go at it once more until someone called from below, "Karroto, Bardock, Goku! The food is ready so come and get it while it is still hot!". The three Saiyans looked down to see Elery calling to them while Gine was setting up the picnic table along with the array of meat that went with it. Goku's mouth watered as he was the first one to land just in time for everything to be ready while Bardock and Karroto simply followed. They all sat around the table as the males dug in like typical Saiyans.
"Kakarot, you sure did inherit your father's stomach that's for sure," Gine said, taking a bit out of the jerked chicken wing she whipped up. Goku stopped biting into his food and nodded happily before proceeding to mow down his food. They pretty much sat in a cheerful silence until the sound of teleportation caught their attention. They all turned to their right to see Kuzuku with two female Saiyans who were still trying to tie knots around the ripped parts of their body in an attempt to show some decency.
Elery practically shot out of her seat and ran to hug the Saiyan, "I didn't expect you would come as well, Kolard. And with company as well.". Kuzuku smiled as she pulled away, glad to see his mother especially after the craziness in the tournament.
"It's good to see you too, mom. I was actually looking for Goku and teleported to his Ki signature. From the looks of things, I came in at the right time," Kuzuku said.
Elery giggled slightly before asking, "Well, looks like you've found him. Say, how's your sister doing? I've haven't heard much from her lately but I guess that's to be expected since she can't...you know, teleport.". Her son went pale at the sudden question, remembering what she pretty much dropped on them before he went to the tournament. He chuckled nervously as Karroto seemed to notice how timid he was being.
"Well...how do I put this? You see...not too long ago, Riley kinda decided to reveal that she was...um...pregnant...," Kuzuku informed, the last part of his sentence coming out in a squeak. Elery looked at him with a deadpan expression until her face lit up with glee. Without much care, she pounced on her son once more, jumping up and down with joyful energy.
"Eeeeeeeh! I can't believe that I am going to be a grandmother! Now all I have to do is wait for her to give birth!" Elery squealed.
Kuzuku rubbed the back of his head and started to look around for Nana. Though, oddly enough she wasn't here which was pretty saddening, "I know it's great mom but where's Nana? Last time I was here she was with you.". Elery pulled away from Kuzuku's chest and smiled widely.
"Don't worry, she's just out visiting her father's soul. She said she'll be back in a few days. But besides that, come and let's eat. Your friends can join you as well," Elery suggested.
"Uhh, I was really here to-" Kuzuku stuttered until he was cut off mid sentence.
Caulifla casually started walking past him with Kale following her, "Alright, let's get some grub! Thanks for the food!". The mother of Kuzuku giggled as she led them to the table while Kuzuku could only sigh and smile. Once they were close, Goku couldn't help but notice Caulifla and Kale among them.
"Hey, what are you two doing here in universe 7?!" Goku questioned with a mouth full of food, catching Bardock's attention so much that he actually placed down his food.
Gine looked at her son for answers, "What do you mean by 'Universe 7', Kakarot?". Karroto was interested as well along with Elery. It wasn't everyday that someone would come to knowledge with the other universes and not many really knew about their existence. That said, it was to be expected of their ignorance so Goku decided to explain further and swallowed his bites of meat.
"Oh yeah, if you didn't know, there are more universes out there that are just as big as ours! The two girls next to Kuzuku are from universe 6 and they are Saiyans just like us! We met them at this multi-universal tournament just a few days ago: the Tournament of Power!" Goku explained.
Karroto raised an eyebrow and turned to his son for further explanation, "Tournament of Power, eh? Did you compete as well, Kolard?". Kuzuku tensed since he would probably have to explain his reasoning as to why they never told him this. He sighed, sucking up all the courage he can muster since the tournament is over now so it should be safe to tell them now.
"Yeah, I competed. In fact, I don't think I had a choice even though I would have joined anyway. The tournament was a 10 man team with fighters from eight different universes with the lowest mortal levels. The losers would have their universe erased so it was pretty much a survival tournament," Kuzuku explained.
The dead Saiyans all looked at him with surprise and then turned back to Goku who just took another bite from his pork. Goku smirked as he remembered everything clearly, "Yeah, even though we came out on top, there were so many strong fighters there! It was fun! Especially the guy known as Jiren! Man he was strong! It took literally four of us to defeat him and he nearly eliminated us from the tournament.".
"Really now? It took four of you to beat one man?" Bardock asked since he knew his son was strong on his own but the fact that it took a collective effort was strange in and of itself.
Goku nodded at his father as he recalled the events of the fight, "Yeah, at first, it was Me, Kuzuku, Vegeta and an android known as 17. All of our attacks did nothing against him and he was pretty much mopping the floor with us at our strongest. It took me surpassing my limits along with Kuzuku to at least wear him down and then we had to 4 versus 1 again with Frieza this time since Vegeta got eliminated.".
"Frieza?! Don't tell me you let him compete and not us?!" Bardock shouted in anger.
Goku shrank timidly, though he was chuckling to himself, "Well...I have to admit, I was in a hurry and panicked. He was helpful and aided us in defeating Jiren. My only regret was that he was revived now since Whis wanted to commend him for his efforts in fighting with us.". Karroto and even Bardock growled at that explanation, especially the last part before sitting back in their seats. Goku chuckled a little until he remembered something that did get his attention.
"Oh yeah, Kuzuku! Can you transform into that form you did at the end of the tournament?! I just want to see it one more time, please?!" Goku pleaded. He was amazed by his fight against Jiren and didn't expect that Saiyans could push their power to that level without a godly ascension known as Ultra Instinct.
Kuzuku sat down at the table and smirked while grabbing his own share of food, "Sorry Goku, but I can't. According to Whis, Super Saiyan 5 is just too much for my body to handle and if I were to transform again I could potentially end up bedridden or even die.". The hero of Earth crestfallen at that.
"Really? Man, and here I thought I would be able to see that power again. After the tournament, I can't seem to figure out how to tap into Ultra Instinct. I guess I only unlocked that power in the heat of the moment," Goku sighed. Hearing this didn't necessarily strike any confusion in both Bardock and Karroto. They both simply smirked, seeing how both of their sons have achieved an even greater level of power that goes beyond their limits: even if they can't necessarily use it at will. After chowing down on some meat, the wives decided to clean up and allow Goku and the others to head out back into the field for some more training. The area was fresh and grassy with numerous lakes and small mountains surrounding them.
Goku stretched his arm as the breeze blew against his Gi, "So, I can assume that they came from universe 6 for some serious training?".
"Pretty much, I've been training them myself since they got here. They also came with Cabba and the prince from their planet, Lottus. They are currently training with Vegeta back on Earth," Kuzuku explained.
"I see, well first it looks like they need some new clothes. We'll just have to stop by my place later so Chi Chi could potentially make you something more suitable. Maybe a Gi should suit you both since it's less restricting." Goku insisted.
Caulifla rolled her eyes while Kale bowed at the offer. Kuzuku started to stretch along with everyone else before they would begin their training session. The feisty Saiyan was feeling confident despite the slight soreness while Kale was sorta nervous as per usual. After the final set of stretches, it was time to see who would spar against who. Since Goku was here, he was pretty much the one who would decide who spars against who, "Alright, so since Kuzuku and I are the closest in power, we'll spar against each other. If I'd have to say, Kale can take on Karroto and Caulifla can fight my dad.".
"No problems here, I'm ready to start when you are," Bardock accepted, cracking his knuckles for a good spar.
Kuzuku walked over to his dad and leaned into his ear to whisper, "Fair warnings, she's actually stronger than she looks. She could probably give Goku some trouble and was one of the reasons why universe 6 was dangerous in the tournament. You'll find her Super Saiyan transformation far stronger than the norm.". Karroto eyed her sternly, causing the timid girl to shiver out of fear.
"Alright, I'll take your word for it. Good luck with your spar against Bardock's kid," Karroto muttered as Kuzuku walked over to Goku. He grinned smugly as his sparring partner returned the favor. Everyone got into positions for the spar to begin but they couldn't help but stare between the two of them. It seemed to emit positive vibes, one that would easily indicate the friendship between them. But what also came with that vibe was a blazing rivalry that they couldn't quite understand. In fact, no one else but probably Vegeta could understand. It was something between only them as they got into their stance.
Kuzuku balled his fist so hard that his knuckles cracked, his feet sliding inches towards him as if they couldn't wait any longer, "This is going to be our first spar after the tournament. I can tell that both of us have gotten stronger but by how much is the bigger question.". The wind caused Goku's hair to flow, his eyes showing the same competitiveness he always gave Vegeta.
"I don't know. You've grown so much that even I can't believe it. We'll just have to test out how far we've both come," Goku said, his body itching to jolt at him.
"Heh, I can hear the eagerness in your voice. Want to skip the little warm-up and get right into things?" Kuzuku suggested. He straightened himself and summoned a swirl of wind around him. In a sequence of events, his hair stood up, turning gold as his aura flared to life. In a glorious explosion of energy, Kuzuku unraveled his Super Saiyan transformation as he waited for Goku to do the same. The hero of Earth chuckled and did the same. His Ki erupted quickly as the ground below him trembled from his strength. In a flash of light, Goku's body morphed into his own transformation and stared back into Kuzuku's teal eyes. Now it was Super Saiyan vs Super Saiyan, a match-up that most Saiyans don't see in their lifetime.
"Looks like they are skipping the build-up so why don't we do the same?" Bardock smirked. He let out a roar, his energy bursting into fireworks that splattered all over the place: sizzling down to the point where he was revealed to be a Super Saiyan as well.
Caulifla swirled her arm and quickly transformed as well, "Alright, I've been wanting to see how much stronger I've become in a short amount of time. These past few days have been rough.". Now there were four Super Saiyans squaring off against each other, their golden aura resembling yellow signal fires from afar. Kale grew even more nervous than before but the quick glance Caulifla gave her was enough to put astray to those thoughts. She looked back at the father of Kuzuku who seemed to be waiting patiently for her to transform.
"Hurry up and transform. We can't keep them waiting you know? Plus, I'm interested in that special transformation of yours," Karroto insisted.
Kale nodded timidly and tried her best to keep a stern expression on her face, "Al-Alright!". With a short shout, she powered up to the point where the knot holding her hair burned off before spiky upwards with two small bangs hanging over her head. It wasn't her Berserk form but it was simply her Super Saiyan C-type as she grew slightly taller and her muscle mass seemed to increase while her hair took a dull yellow tint. Karroto could easily tell just by her Ki signature alone that this transformation is far more powerful than an ordinary Super Saiyan.
"Wow, my son wasn't kidding. Your power is quite something to marvel at. I'll start small and test my metal against you if you don't mind!" Kolard complimented before roaring into his Super Saiyan form.
The air grew thicker and from the escalating powers of these pure-blooded Saiyans, the surrounding or nearby fighters who were also doing their own training hurried to safety since they knew things were about to get dangerous. However, the feeling was somewhat exciting, not as much as the Tournament of Power but enticing to say the least. As a single leaf passed by, Goku decided to make the first move and dash towards the young Saiyan. With a firm answer to his approach, Kuzuku simply caught his fist before it could make contact with his face. They both stared at each other as the trees around them started to rustle and within just mere seconds: the all out spar began. Everyone disappeared into the skies, their speed causing them to look like blurs as shockwaves plastered all over the blue. Subsequently, Goku and Kuzuku reappeared above and exchanged a few blows before Kuzuku kicked him away with a blow to the face.
The hero of Earth smirked and rushed back at the Saiyan, their fists clashing for a moment as they separated from being blown away by the force. They repeated this action about three more times before breaking out into a clash of strikes once more. Shortly, Goku ducked under Kuzuku's arms and jabbed him hard in the ribs: leaving him stunned a bit so he can blow him away with a Kiai. With the flare of his Ki, Goku chased after Kuzuku and fired a few energy blasts on his way. Seeing this, Kuzuku flipped himself upright and countered with a few energy blasts of his own. On collision, the two sets of blasts exploded, leaving only a cloud of smoke behind until it was diminished immediately when both Saiyans seemed to rush at each other and slammed their fists into each other's cheek. Before he could possibly react, Kuzuku quickly kneed him in the stomach before elbowing him to the ground. The hero of Earth was diving fast but he managed to flip himself onto his feet before impacting the ground hard enough to create a small crater beneath his feet. He stood up and immediately turned his body to the side in order to dodge a sudden kick from his opponent. Seeing how he was in the perfect position, Goku took the chance to sock him hard across the jaw with a right hook before kneeing him in the chin. Kuzuku stumbled backwards a bit, immediately feeling his hard leg slamming into his left ribs. He nearly keeled over until he recovered quickly to catch Goku's gut punch before it had landed. The force behind it was enough to break the ground behind him. In return, Kuzuku delivered a flurry of kicks across Goku's stomach, each one pushing him back a bit before he was blasted away with Ki blasts.
Kuzuku smirked, extending his hand out to fire seven high charged orbs of blue electricity at him. Goku flipped himself immediately onto his feet and deflected some of them before leaping into the air. The explosion below him told him that he made the right move to dodge at that moment until he quickly caught the whim of Kuzuku teleporting above him. The first thing he saw when he turned around was a large blue energy ball emitting from the tip of Kuzuku's foot as his leg was raised high into the air. He brought his foot down and thrusted a roundhouse kick forward to hurl the blast at him. It was moving fast, and the gales rustled the trees around the area. Quickly Goku placed both hands forward and pressed against the ball of energy as soon as it got closed. He was getting pushed back a bit while he grunted in the midst of his struggle. After realizing that he'll probably slip if this continues, Goku's aura swirled around him before he bursts right into Super Saiyan 2. With his increase in power, he pushed the blast back towards Kuzuku with a Kiai that doubled the force. The primal Saiyan watched deadpanned before smirking.
"So, jumping right into the second level I see. Then let me reciprocate!" Kuzuku muttered. Thin streams of Ki flowed all over his body like a sphere, his body shrouded in gold that clung to the curves of his body. In just seconds he transformed into Super Saiyan 2 as well, the force destroying the ball of energy completely into nothing but blue sparks of Ki.
Goku flew up to the same level as his opponent with a smile on his face, their auras flickering electricity around them, "This fight is interesting so far. I do hope that we don't get too carried away and destroy the planet in the process.".
"Eh, we'll be fine. I'm sure we'll notice if we are getting too carried away in our spar. Though, I do want to test something out right now if you don't mind?" Kuzuku assured, prompting him to take things a step further.
Goku raised an eyebrow for a second until he smirked slyly, "Really, do you want to test your Super Saiyan 3 against my Super Saiyan God? No offense, but I'll still have the advantage by a large margin.".
"Perhaps, you might still be stronger but I don't think that much. Especially since this isn't the same Excelled Super Saiyan 3 but something more pure...," Kuzuku corrected. He clenched his fist and let out a powering scream that flared his aura even brighter.
The gales were enough to push Goku back a good amount as he stared in awe. He didn't know that Kuzuku was capable of producing this much power when just transforming. Sure, he felt Excelled Super Saiyan 3's power during the tournament and as of right now, they were practically evenly matched. But this time, he was sure that his Super Saiyan 3 had sky rocketed once more. He couldn't help but feel excited, "I see, then show me what you got right now. I can feel that this isn't a merger and that you're digging deeper, far deeper than before!".
With a final roar, Kuzuku's Ki erupted completely as the ground below him shook violently. The tremor settled down after a minute with all the friendly spars stopping to see what had happened. Standing before Goku was Kuzuku's newly powered Excelled Super Saiyan 3 state with his orange-gold hair. He smiled confidently with his sparkling orange-gold aura flowing around him. The crackles of orange colored electricity struck the ground, showing off how powerful this form was, "How's this? I think I can hold my own against your Super Saiyan God now.". Goku chuckled, his golden Ki drawing into himself as his hair reverted back to normal. Slowly, a red aura formed itself around him before erupting into the flames of a Super Saiyan God.
"I guess so but, tell me how you managed to make Super Saiyan 3 this strong? I thought you said the Excelled Super Saiyan 3 was it's complete form and probably it's limit?" Goku asked with his crimson red eyes. He was curious, since he knew that Kuzuku was about the only Saiyan to reach this state and improve upon Super Saiyan 3 by this much.
The primal Saiyan smirked, cracking his knuckles so he can get back into things, "Well, remember when I turned Super Saiyan 5 back in the tournament?". Goku quickly remembered everything that transpired and nodded.
"Good, cause when I was digging deeper into myself, I found the inner Oozaru that was dormant inside me. I've come to accept him fully and seemed to have absorbed all of the latent Saiyan power that led to me unlocking Super Saiyan 5. I wouldn't say that was the direct cause of the transformation but after the tournament, I felt...I don't know, at ease? Everything just felt so natural, more than usual. I was able to use my Saiyan power in ways that I didn't think were possible and managed to use it to dig deeper into Super Saiyan 3's potential," Kuzuku explained.
There was a small silence between them until Goku started to laugh, "Heheh, that's quite amazing! Seems to me you've unlocked even more secrets that we don't even know!". Kuzuku smirked, getting back into a fighting stance.
"Yeah and with this feeling, I believe that I can tap into an even deeper power." Kuzuku smirked.
Goku chuckled and got into a stance as well, "That's good to hear. After the tournament of power, I felt that there was probably more that we can do to further improve ourselves. Looks like we both still have a long way to go.". Goku knew full well that he needed to stay on guard during this fight. Even though he still has the power advantage, Kuzuku's new form has given him enough strength to at least muster out a victory. The stare off was intense since this was the sparring match between a Saiyan who transcended into the realms of the gods and the Saiyan who stuck to his roots to achieve strength that rivals them. Everyone else stared at them and smirked as they went back to sparring, knowing that they were in their own little world for now.
(Back On Planet Earth, In The New Gravity Room Outside The CC Home...)
The day on Earth was cloudy, not to the point where it was about to rain. It was a cool and nice type of cloudy that would make anyone feel relaxed for the day. But in one particular room, it was quite the opposite. Inside a Saiyan proof hangar that was painted a light blue color with a metal door resided three full-blooded Saiyans and a half-breed. It was quite spacious compared to the gravity room inside the house since Vegeta personally requested it to have more room. Bulma could have easily expanded the house's gravity room but she was tired of Vegeta's late night training waking Bulla up from her sleep so he forced him to train outside for now on. Currently, Vegeta was doing push-ups on the floor with only two fingers along with the two universe 6 Saiyans next to him. They were all transformed into just their Super Saiyan states though Vegeta didn't look like he was anywhere close to sweating while Lottus and Cabba were struggling to keep themselves from slamming their faces into the ground. The Saiyan prince noticed this and smirked, "Come on now, we're only 5 push-ups away from 100,000! Don't give into your weakness now!".
"Easy for you to say, graagh! We literally did twice the amount of pull-ups with each arm!" Lottus complained, performing another push-up slowly.
Cabba did the same and nearly tumbled over until he straightened himself in the nick of time, "Naagh! My abs are still killing me from those sit-ups!". Vegeta groaned and quickly did his five in no time at all while they only did one more. He stood up and pointed his finger at theirs as they both went for another rep. Without warning he fired a tiny energy wave at both of their fingers: forcing them to quickly complete the rep while pushing their bodies off the ground momentarily. He repeated this action about three more times, completing the 100,000th rep to complete the set. They both collapsed on their backs with heavy breathing, reverting from their Super Saiyan forms back into base out of pure exhaustion.
"Why...did I have a feeling...that he was going to do that..." Lottus panted as a trail of sweat trickled down his face.
Cabba couldn't feel his arms for a moment until a shock of pain made him groan, "Ugh, my arms feel like they want to burst into flames. But, I guess you can't call it training without pain right?". Vegeta smirked as he finished drinking his bottle of water while Trunks was shadow boxing in the background.
"That's the right attitude. Come on, we're going to have to call it quits for today since Bulma is going out shopping!" Vegeta commanded as he walked towards the door.
"Wait, why do we have to stop training because of that?" Lottus asked tiredly.
Vegeta stopped at the exit and glared at him with a faint blush on his face, "Because she drags me out of the house to help her carry bags so much that at this point I might as well go. Honestly, she has enough clothes already! Why does she need more?!". The universe 6 Saiyans stared at him curiously before he gulped, turning away to hide his flush face from them.
"You know what, just continue training without me or simply rest up, I don't care! We'll continue where we left off with some heavy level sparring!" Vegeta shouted before exiting the room. As soon as the door closed, the two universe 6 Saiyans looked at each other and simply shrugged, picking themselves up as they walked towards the exit as well.
Seeing this Trunks stopped one of his jabs, "Hey, you two done? If so, could you watch my little sister for me while I finish up?". Cabba turned around to give him a rather tired smile while Lottus continued to walk towards the exit.
"Sure thing, uh...Trunks. We'll make sure we keep an eye on her for you," Cabba assured.
Trunks smiled widely, "Thanks, she should be in the living room in her play den. Just a warning, if she looks pale then I suggest you rush to the nearest bathroom before...you know.".
Cabba didn't quite understand what he meant by that but he simply took his word for it. After giving him one last assuring look, he exited the gravity room and followed Lottus into the house. As they wandered through the halls, they entered the living room or what they deem now as the recovery room since every time they finished training it always resulted in them collapsing on the floor out of exhaustion. They examined the room to find Bulla knocked out cold in her play den which was cute but also concerning since they didn't think that was the proper place for a baby to sleep in. Lottus plopped himself on the couch while Cabba went over to pick up Bulla so he could bring her with him to the couch.
"Man I'm spent. The training back at home was never this brutal even by personal instructor," Lottus jested.
Cabba chuckled a little, remembering one of their training sessions back home with Lottus's royal instructor, "Yeah, I could have sworn that your father hired a murderer. I guess we can't really call him that now since master beats him in every category.". Lottus smiled tiredly as he stared at the ceiling.
"That's for sure, but I can't deny that he is strong," Lottus simply muttered until he came across another thought. He smiled, "I wonder how Caulifla is doing?".
Cabba looked at him deadpanned before looking up at the ceiling as well, "I'm sure she's doing fine. She doesn't need anyone looking after her, remember? Besides, Kuzuku doesn't seem as bad as Vegeta in terms of training. If anything I'd be more worried about home. You sorta left without really telling your parents didn't you?". Lottus looked at him for a split second before looking back at the ceiling in a deep sigh.
"I don't need to worry about them. I'm sure they are all too busy to really notice and even if they did, I doubt they'll care. Dad's always away on diplomatic meets with mom so they are rarely around to the point where I see them only once a year and I don't get along with my older brother all that well," Lottus explained.
Cabba stared at him, trying to read his emotions at the moment since they were pretty hard to decipher. But, he couldn't. His friend was simply too good at hiding it to which he sighed deeply, "I guess that's fair enough. I sure do wonder how long it would take for us to reach the next level.". Lottus snorted at his comment.
"Pfft, dude! You're talking about the next level while I just recently transformed! Let's not get too ahead of ourselves now!" Lottus laughed.
"Well, Vegeta and Kuzuku think that we have the potential to achieve it sooner so why not get our hopes up? If I had to bet who will achieve it first, I think Caulifla would," Cabba noted.
Lottus nearly choked from laughter, "Really, Caulifla? Come on, I think I can take her now!". Cabba thought for a moment until he remembered one crucial detail.
"Hmm, did you forget that she can also turn Super Saiyan 2. In fact, she's actually far stronger than me at the moment so no offense but I doubt you could beat her. According to Renso, Caulifla bested him in their sparring matches before she even learned to transform," Cabba argued.
Lottus was now intrigued, even impressed a little, "Really now, who would've thought that little Cauli from back then would become such a fearsome foe?".
"Uhh, I thought she said to stop calling her that?" Cabba sweated, chuckling a little to hide his nervousness. For some reason, he felt like Caulifla could probably sense people that call her by that name and would hunt them down till she sends them to hell personally.
The Saiyan prince couldn't help but chuckle and pat his Cabba on the back, "Don't worry about that, she's not here now so it's okay! Besides, Caulifla makes those threats all the time and would follow through with them about 75% in terms of consistency.".
"Lottus...75% is a pretty big possibility..." Cabba muttered. However, Lottus didn't hear that part and simply continued to laugh which eventually turned contagious as Cabba laughed along with him...
(After A Few Hours Later, At The Home Of The Son Family...)
Chi Chi was humming away a tune as she was washing the dishes from the lunch she prepared for Goten who was studying upstairs. It was quiet in her little home since Goku was out visiting his parents in Otherworld...and most likely training. It wasn't like she was angry at him for not working especially on a cloudy day like this but the fact that he pretty much just recovered from the tournament a few days ago was certainly worrying. While she jumbled through her confliction of worrying and allowing Goku to train, she was instantly snapped out of it as soon as she heard the familiar sound of instant transmission outside. She dropped what she was doing and practically ran to the door knowing full well that it was her husband. She opened it immediately with a wide smile on her face, "Welcome home, Goku! You've missed lunch but don't worry, dinn-WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED TO YOU?!".
The hero of Earth chuckled at his wife's outburst along with Kuzuku. Their clothes were pretty much torn to shreds, leaving only about half of their shirts left. Caulifla stood behind them with ripped pants and her pinkish top was threatening to fall off any second now. Kale was about the only one who didn't seem to be in the same state as they were but the shoulder part of her clothes were making it difficult to keep her shirt on due to them being torn as well. Goku gave his wife a smile, "You see, we've just had a pretty intense sparring match and got a little carried away. We didn't transform to our maximum but boy that was something else! Good thing I brought senzu beans otherwise I'd be home by dark!". Chi Chi rubbed her temples before chuckling darkly.
"Why did I actually believe you would take it easy. I guess it can't be helped...come on, you need a shower mister!" Chi Chi ordered.
Goku rubbed the back of his head as she gave him a small smile, "Yeah, also I was kinda wondering if you got any spare clothes for these two behind me. They kinda need it now since...they had a rough spar as well.".
"I blame your dad for being almost merciless! He tried to kill me at least six times!" Caulifla complained.
"I told you, Caulifla. That's just how Saiyans back then trained so it's pretty normal for them. I mean, that's what Vegeta told me one time," Goku said.
Chi Chi looked over Goku's shoulder to see the Saiyan girls from universe 6. She instantly recognized them and raised an eyebrow since they obviously shouldn't belong here in this universe let alone Earth, "Uh, Goku? What are these girls here for? I thought they were from another universe?".
"Oh yeah, they came here from universe 6 looking for some training to achieve Super Saiyan 3," Goku replied with a cheerful smile.
Chi Chi looked skeptical before turning her back towards them to walk inside, "Very well then, Goten should be done studying soon. He's been eager to go outside all day so I need you to take him somewhere to burn off that extra energy. I swear, he's just like you when you were a kid. As for the girls, just wait here for a moment and I'll be back with some left over Gi's I made for Riley.". With that said, she disappeared into her house for a moment, leaving them to wait outside.
After a short minute, Chi Chi returned back outside with some folded Gi's with boots to go with it, "Alright, here's some of the leftover Gi's I've made with the same material as Goku's. Trust me, from all the battles he's been through, I've became pretty adept at making new clothes for him.". Caulifla walked over with glowing eyes. Gratefully, she grabbed the orange one that had a red thick sash with the typical Goku boots.
"Thanks a lot, old lady! These look awesome!" Caulifla shouted, catching the woman off guard so much that she didn't even pick up on the old lady comment. Kale walked over and picked the other one which was more feminine to her liking. They went around the bushes to go change and immediately returned to reveal their new outfits to everyone. Caulifla tightened the sash, the orange Gi resembling greatly to Goku's instead it contained a black undershirt with long sleeves and no symbol. Her boots covered at least less than half her calves as they dug into the dirt. Kale came out with a sleeveless outfit similar to Chi Chi's, though it was mostly red with a black lining on all the edges. She wore black pants and similar shoes that she wore before but this time they were an obsidian black with red tips to them. Overall, they both looked pleased by their new clothes.
"So, how do we look?" Caulifla asked with confidence.
Kuzuku gave her the thumbs up, "You look great! When we get back, I'll have Piccolo make multiple copies later so we don't run out. Trust me, he did the same thing for me and he's good at it.". Caulifla squealed slightly before fist bumping the air out of excitement at how well her day was going which caused both Kuzuku and Goku to chuckle.
"Well, Goku. We better get going, I'm sure 21 is probably missing me right now so I'd better not keep her waiting. Thanks again for the spar," Kuzuku said, walking his way towards the girls as he waved him goodbye.
Goku folded his arms with a wide grin, "Don't sweat it! I've gained as much from it as you did...even though I won after all.". Kuzuku growled playfully at the last part and simply gestured them to grab onto his shoulder. With one motion, they were all teleported from the area: leaving the Son family to continue about their day.
(Now At The Residence Of Kuzuku and 21's Home...)
Kuzuku teleported in front of their house in just a few seconds. He sighed in relief from picking up on 21's Ki signature and started heading towards the door. The two Saiyan girls followed him though Caulifla did want to know something about the Saiyan who was training them, "Say, you never actually told us about yourself. Like, how did you come across this planet.".
Kuzuku stopped just inches towards the doorknob. It was sudden and a strange question to ask at this time. He wanted to at least hide it a little longer but seeing how he reacted probably had sparked a flare of curiosity in them. After thinking for some bit, he sighed and turned to smile at them.
"I was afraid you'd ask that eventually. I'll tell you, though, it's a pretty long story...," Kuzuku chuckled halfheartedly. Caulifla raised an eyebrow as Kuzuku opened the door to his home. They all walked in and in just seconds, Kuzuku was tackled by a powerful hug from his wife. He nearly fell over though he was used to it so much that he was mentally prepared beforehand.
21 looked up and gave him a loving smile, one that contained more affection than usual, "I'm so glad you're home. I missed you.". He was confused for a moment though he simply returned the affection with one of his own.
"Yeah, I'm glad to be back." Kuzuku mumbled as he remembered what he had to do.
His expression faltered, alerting 21 that something was off though he kept his smile the entire time, "21, Caulifla asked me to tell her about myself. Could you perhaps make some hot tea to pass the time. You know how long the story is, right?".
"Are you sure you're up to it? I mean...," 21 whispered until she noticed the certainty in his eyes. He was prepared for something like this the entire time and felt that he was pretty much beyond it all at this point. 21 simply nodded and went over to the kitchen to start making the tea though she kept her eye on them as they sat on the couch.
Caulifla and Kale watched him intently as he stretched a little before giving off a toothy grin, "Now, let's see. Where do I begin? I can assume that you two already know about how planet Vegeta was destroyed and obviously you two met my parents in Otherworld so I'll just sum it up briefly. When planet Vegeta was destroyed, they escaped to another planet as kids and eventually grew up to have me in the process and later my sister Riley. Shortly after Riley was born, they were killed by a guy called Aereos and sent me off to another planet known as Codia while my sister was taken by my father's friend, Rigo.".
He watched their expression remain stern for the time being though he knew that the fact his parents died was probably made clear to them since pretty much every Saiyan's parents died on Vegeta that day.
"For about 20 years, I've actually never even knew who they were since I was too young to remember. I've lived on Codia for 7 years with a caretaker known as Nana. At the time, she was the closest thing I've had to a family. She was my everything especially how Codians were prejudiced towards Saiyans due to their history. Honestly, back then I wasn't taught how to use my powers and I couldn't possibly list all the times I was beaten in the streets. The amount of times I had rocks thrown at me. And the times I've faced harsh ridicule from simply walking the streets. It was hard, almost unbearable but I kept clinging to that special someone: even though I was pretty much living in hell." Kuzuku chuckled, which was odd since the story contrasted with his mood.
He settled down and continued on despite it only getting worse from there, "On my last year in Codia, Aereos had returned back to the planet looking for me. He wanted to subjugate me into his ranks of slaved warriors since I was Saiyan so I was valuable to him in a way. He purged the village looking for me and killed countless numbers of people in his rampage. I was just a boy back then and I was terrified but just as always, Nana was the one to come to my aid. We ran through the burning village houses as I watched corpses turn to ash and the screams of people calling for help in every direction. Honestly, it was the perfect picture for what hell looked like but eventually we made it to the woods and to the hidden spaceship that her father built long ago. We were nearly home free until Aereos found the ship. With her quick thinking, she shoved me into the closet and told me to keep quiet while she handled the situation herself. I was frozen and I couldn't move as I watched everything happen little by little. The conversation...the shaking eyes of resistance, the angry scowl of Aereos's avatar before he blew a whole right through her chest and how she collapsed on the floor in a pool of her own blood. My eyes shrank at everything, and my voice was clogged from shock. When they left, I crept over to Nana for her final moments and when she died, I was broken.". He sighed, only smiling at himself at how in the world he's made it up to this point.
"From there, the ship seemed to have already set a coordinate towards a planet that was filled with Nana's favorite flowers and took off automatically. After I buried her there, I left on my journey to search for something that I've long deemed pointless at this point. I've reflected on everything and came to terms with it, I can't possibly even talk about that reason with seriousness. I've learned that no one was to blame for what happened, from the ridicule to the deaths that occurred that day, no one...even myself. Eventually, at the end of my journey I came to Earth and started a new life, a life with Goku and his friends. If I had to say the best part was me meeting 21 and making new friends along the way." Kuzuku chuckled loudly.
The two Saiyan girls before him were stunned by his outlook on the whole thing. Honestly, when Caulifla asked about it, she didn't expect it to be this deep nor did she expect him to be completely comfortable talking about the whole thing. Kale on the other hand was trying her best not to cry about the whole thing while 21 was mixed with a sense of pride and happiness in the fact he's grown to be more outspoken. The silence was quite awkward which was too much for Kuzuku's liking so he decided to change the topic, "Anyways, that's my story. I would go into some of the adventures we had such as me getting my revenge on that bastard and how I fought a giant yellow lizard that turned into the embodiment of Satan himself when I met my parents for the first time but honestly, I don't think you can handle all that. Especially the Goku Black...".
"What?! Don't patronize me, I can handle what story you could throw at me!" Caulifla boasted.
Kuzuku grinned with cockiness, "Oh really now? Then prepare your seat belts and apple juice little one. This is going to be a long ride.". Caulifla growled at him for the remark while he laughed it off. 21 smiled at the joke and brought over the hot, fresh tea as Kuzuku began telling them about his adventures up until this point.
(In The Vast Unknown Part Of The Universe...)
In the middle of what many would call an endless and vacant void known as space, numerous spaceships occupied the silence. But in the center of all of them was a familiar large mother-ship that housed the most infamous and notorious villain in the history of universe 7. He sat on his hovering throne in his final form, sipping graciously on his cup of wine as his fleet headed straight towards his next target. He finished his glass and decided to dwell deep into his thoughts.
"It seems that my army has retained most of its numbers and strength during my absence. However..., in order to get revenge on that monkey I'll have to gain stronger and more powerful allies that are capable of aiding me in my revenge. Dealing with the prince and the little runt will be impossible for me to escape unscathed...," Frieza noted to himself. It was undoubtedly true that despite how powerful he is currently, Goku would always become strong enough to pose a great amount of resistance on his own while also having Kuzuku and Vegeta as support. Directly confronting them now would only result in a similar death to the last time which was something that the galactic emperor wanted to avoid.
The tyrant stood in his thoughts, trying to conjure up a plan to strengthen his forces to combat such a dilemma until something urgent interrupted his train of mischievous thoughts, "Lord Frieza, something major has just occurred!". The emperor darted his eyes towards his lizard underling with an orange mohawk.
"What is it? It better be good, otherwise I'll eradicate you...," Frieza threatened dangerously, annoyed that he was so rudely bothered in his time alone.
The underling caught his breath the moment the threat was made and decided to inform him as respectfully as he could, "My lord, we have received a important message from Planet Frieza #79! The thawing period has finally approached its near completion and your son will be soon born!".
Frieza's eyes widened at the news, a sly grin formulating on his face as he recalled that he did indeed have insurance after all. He chuckled, giving his command with amusement laced in his voice, "I see, how wonderful. Tell the pilot to turn the ship towards planet 79 immediately at once.".
"Yes, I shall leave effective immediately!" the henchman humbly obliged, running out of the room to spread the word as quickly as he could. Frieza looked out into the vastness of space in front of him and snickered evilly.
"I can't wait for you to join my family. I'm certain you'll fit right in as one of the most powerful members of our race's history. Just wait for me and daddy will show you the routes to becoming the strongest, my beloved son Ize!" Frieza muttered, his red eyes glowing with dangerous excitement.
A/N: Yo, yeah it's been a really long time heheh. Just wanted to drop this chapter just so you guys know that I am not dead. Sorry for the long wait though, I've been rather busy with other stuff. Anyways, until next time :D!
