Ok, here are a new chapter.
Thanks, guest for letting me know what you think in each chapter, you encourage me a lot. Thanks to VTZpS and everyone who takes a little time to read this story. enjoy it!
Helping in the infirmary was very rewarding for Chizuru. She liked to be useful and look after the well-being of her companions, make sure they were well, and also she took the opportunity of be there, to learn new things about Matsumoto-Sensei and Yamakazi.
She had the authorization to help as much as she wanted, as long as this did not interfere with her school activities. Really, she liked to help, however, she did not always feel very comfortable doing it, as now, while her providing assistance to Kazama.
She had come to the place, because Yamakazi had asked for her help, or so that was a partner told her, however, when she arrived at the infirmary the young man was not anywhere, only was Kazama, sat in an armchair with impatient face waiting for someone to change his bandage.
Sometimes Matsumoto left Yamakazi in charge of the infirmary, to fulfill other obligations, because the cases that were mostly presented were not serious and the young man could solve it effectively. She supposed that it could be the reason why the man was not in the place either.
She did not ask anything to Kazama, nor did she make any kind of comment for the moment regarding the absence of Yamakazi, she simply dedicated herself to help the young man who at that moment needed help.
Chizuru worked in silence while the young blond told her how he had hurt his arm while they made repairs at his house. Although she did not like him very much, but, she hoped that he would recover soon, so that he could return to his duties.
"I'm glad that you have been the one to attend me, Chizuru. I had very good luck today. Kazama showed a little grin.
"There were not many options, or, yes?" she replied, focused on her work. She felt the weight of his gaze on her and it was too tedious. After several minutes in silence, she decided to inquire a little.
"It's strange that Yamakazi is not here, especially if he called for me." She said without looking at him.
"It's better that he not here; sometimes the boy can be very rough." The young man blond commented bored.
"Yamakazi-san is the best assistant that Matsumoto-Sensei can have." The girl looked at him seriously.
I never said he was not." he said, downplaying to her comment. "I just think that your hands are more delicate to do the job, and I need special treatment. Fate must be on my side to bring you here. "
Chizuru remained silent. She had to make a great effort to deal with a person as arrogant as Kazama. She did not have to think long to know that he had devised that encounter. In spite of everything, she had not given up on helping him. If she thought of being a doctor someday, she would have to help anyone, regardless of the differences they had, and also foresee all kinds of situations.
Carefully, she finished putting on the last layer of bandage, and then arranged the sling to hold his arm.
"Ready." she said kindly. "Now is better."
Kazama moved his arm a little, checking the good work of the young woman sketching a slight smile. "You're very good at this, thanks."
Chizuru nodded and quickly began to store the utensils she had used. There were only a few minutes to finish the break, and she intended to see her friends before that.
"Maybe you should be my personal nurse." He smirked when the young woman raised her sight with curious "I mean... only until I feel a little better."
Chizuru rolled her eyes, resuming her work. "It's just a twist; you do not need a nurse."
Kazama got up from the stretcher and approached to her. The young girl stepped back. Her attitude towards the young man was always elusive. The guy did not give her much confidence, without mention that she did not like at all his arrogance and attitude toward others.
"Maybe not, but I would improve much faster with your care."
"Good! I guess then you'll have plenty of time to rest. "She said, turning her attention to the utensils that she still needed to put in place." I'm not a nurse, I just know some things."
"That is enough for me."
Chizuru denied softly, she did not know what this guy intended, but he would not get anything from her. "You'll be fine on your own, you do not need much."
"Do you know you're very interesting, Chizuru? Besides of pretty, of course" He smiled "that's why I like you" we would make a great couple.
Chizuru opened her eyes at his words; she didn't expect a statement from him. She had the sensed that she liked to Kazama, he had even insinuated something to her on other occasions, but not in such a direct way. She felt nothing for him more than an almost null empathy just for being schoolmates. She could not imagine herself in any stage, doing a couple with Kazama.
"I do not see you of the same way." She looked away, this situation becoming increasingly uncomfortable.
"Only because you do not know me well, your dear friends do not let you get close to me."
"They have nothing to do with it." Her voice sounded annoyed. Why he always blamed them for everything? That was her decision.
"So, will you try to know me a little more?"
"I already know you."
"You can try a little more. I'll show you that I'm not as bad as you think. "
Chizuru did not answer anything and decided to finish ordering the infirmary and leave the place. Luckily, the guy did not say anything else or try to stop her when she left; she was really relieved to end the uncomfortable conversation with Kazama.
His confession had not changed anything between them, and she had no intention of approaching him more than necessary. The guy was not an easy person to cope with, and she did not want to get involved in that. Sometimes she felt that she was being unfair, but then his attitudes reiterated her rejection of him.
Forgetting of the uncomfortable meeting, she walked toward the courtyard, meeting with her friend Osen. Together they went to the cafeteria and then passed by their lockers, by some books they needed for the next class.
"I hope the math test not this so difficult." Osen commented heavily. "The last time I did not do very well."
"We have studied a lot." Chizuru opened her locker taking out her history book. "We will do well."
"Especially you" The young Chestnut woman smiled mischievously. "You have a good tutor, and... really handsome"
"What does that have to do with the exam?" Chizuru cocked her head smiling a little.
"Nothing, I just thought, I should mention it." She said without leaving her smile.
Chizuru nodded, that was something I had very present.
"You have good tutors too. She continued with the previous topic. Heisuke-Kun and Takeshi-Kun are also very good at math. "
"Yes, they are very good."
The girls really expected to get good results, they had worked hard and it was worth the reward. Falling into a pleasant conversation, they hardly noticed the presence of Souji walking in their direction.
"Preparing for your next class?"
Both turned to see the young chestnut a step away of theirs, with his peculiar smile. Chizuru was not surprised much to see him arrive with his partner, Yamada Ahomi, lately she saw the young girl very close to him, she supposed that she was another of his famous admirers.
"Yes, that's what we get." Osen hugged her book over her chest. Souji nodded, getting closer.
"Chizuru chan" The young chestnut man wrapped her by the shoulders gently. "We did not see you at breakfast, where were you?"
"In the infirmary," She simply replied. She did not want to delve into details. It was not important for her the meeting with Kazama and it was better to forget about it.
"But I already ate something with Osen-chan, do not worry." she added. The guy cared deeply for her, and she did not want to disturb him. Souji smiled satisfied, releasing the girl in the process.
"And where are you going Okita-san?" Osen could not ignore her curiosity. Ahomi looked very impatient and a little angry while Souji talked with Chizuru.
The young girl and her group of friends only liked the popular ones and the chestnut man was one of them. It would not surprise her at all that the girl walked behind his bones. The fact that the young man has stopped to talk to them, should not please her very much.
"Itou-san left us a task for art class, and Ahomi-chan wants us to help her with her project. She will make a photo session. What do you think? "
"A very clever idea" Osen commented with a bit of sarcasm in her voice.
"Of course it is." The young girl smiled arrogantly. "And it's good that Okita San is always willing to help Me." she finished, holding Souji's arm suddenly. The chestnut man was a little surprised at her touch, but he did not move away.
Osen rolled her eyes looking at Chizuru who just shrugged.
"Right now, we're going to see Hajime-Kun to see if he wants participate. Souji continued. Although knowing him, it will be difficult to convince him. "
"I will convince Saito-san." Ahomi released quickly. "Being as attractive as he is, I do not think he wants to stay out of the photos. I definitely want a picture with him. We would see very well together. "
Chizuru felt very strange when she heard that. The young girl's words did not like her at all. She really did not know Saito. Yes, he was extremely attractive, but he was not attracted to those kinds of things, right? Or maybe, would he be interested in the photos? With every second that passed, she felt an even stranger sensation.
She knew that Saito was not a superficial guy, but she also knew that he would be the perfect candidate for a project like that. Although, Ahomi was very pretty and recognized that the idea of the photos was good, she rejected the possibility that Saito was close to that girl.
For a moment, she felt sad. Lately, she was being very selfish with Saito, and she did not like that. She loved her friends. Their joys were her, and if there was someone she wanted with all her heart that was be happy, it was Saito. He deserved it. Lost in her thoughts she did not realize that Souji was speaking to her until he touched her shoulder gently.
"Are you okay, Chizuru-chan?" She found him staring at her.
"Yes." she replied wiggling a little. "What were you saying?"
"I asked you if you wanted to come with us. Hajime-Kun always listen to you."
"I can not ... ... I have to repass for my exam." her heart did not ask her to do it, even if she was selfish.
"Well, then I'll see you later." Souji walked away quickly followed by the young black hair girl, who did not lose him the steps. Chizuru inspired gently, returning to her task of rummaging in her locker.
"Ahomi-chan is a conceited." Osen spoke as she watched them turn down the hall. "She does not seem reliable to me."
"The guys seem to like her," Chizuru said quietly, still feeling very strange.
"Only to the fools"
Chizuru could not help but smile a little at her friend's comment. Osen definitely did not like the girl.
"Regarding Saito-san, I do not think he will accept Ahomi-Chan's proposal." Chizuru looked at her curiously. "I do not know him very well, but I do not think that he is the kind of guy who likes that kind of activities."
"Saito-san is a quiet and reserved guy, but who knows, maybe he'll accept. "
"I doubt it. I think if someone is able to convince that guy to do something, that person would be you. "Her friend smiled at her mischievously.
"I do not think I have that power over Saito-san." the chestnut girl could not help but let out a sigh of disappointment. "He makes his own decisions." Saito was very imposing, and she was sure nobody could tell him what to do.
"It is better to go back to the classroom, it is not long before the exam begins," chizuru said, finishing the topic. She wanted forget the matter and concentrate on her test. Closing their lockers, they returned to their way to their course, trusting that they would obtain the best results.
Saito kept his arms crossed while looking at his partners with his usual Stoic face. Are they really making that proposal to him? A photo shoot?
Actually, the situation was not strange at all. Everything that the girl did was to get attention, and he knew that Souji only did it to annoy him; his annoying smirk gave him away. Souji knew him well, he did not like shows, much less if involved that girl. . He did not consider her a bad person, much less ugly, but he preferred to stay away. Those kinds of girls were a nuisance.
"I do not like that kind of activities," he replied coolly.
"Let's go! Hajime-Kun is to help a companion. "The chestnut man pointed.
"No matter, besides, we also have our own work to do, or what? You're going to tell me you already did, Souji? "
"No, but we can help Ahomi-chan a little. The photo shoot seems fun.
"Do it, if you are so interested, but do not involve me in that."
"At least think about it a little, Saito-san." Ahomi spoke in a soft and flirtatious voice. "You are one of the best candidates."
"You should direct your invitations to others people, Yamada-san. I'm not like Souji; I do not like the shows. "His voice was dry and firm, making his position clear.
"What I like it's the fun." Souji said smiling. Saito denied taking his notebook from the laboratory table.
"If that was all, I'm leaving; I have other things to do." The young president passed by without saying anything else. Souji did not take long to follow the young man Indigo, but not before making a small gesture of apology to the girl that looked disappointed and at the same time upset.
His friend had already advanced a few meters when he reached him. Saito did not seem very likely to change his mind. They walked in silence for a few seconds until Souji decided to speak.
"Ahomi-chan seemed disappointed. She really wanted you to make those pictures. "
"She does not need me, you're going to participate, are not you?" He said, pointing to his point without waiting for the answer from the young man. "Soon she will stop complaining."
Souji smiled at his words. "It seems to me that she wanted you more than she wanted me."
"It does not matter who she wanted. If what she interests is doing a good job, with you is more than enough. "Saito inspired heavily, he had enough things to do, to also have to deal with the work of others. Much less if that meant exposing himself to others, that was not his thing.
"It was a bad idea to encourage her, Souji." He stressed coldly.
"What?" Souji said making a gesture with his hand. "It was not my idea, she asked me to ask you, and that's what I did, What can I do? If the girl is crazy about you, Hajime-Kun" Souji smiled widely amused.
Saito looked at him out of the corner of his eye, but did not say anything, the girl not interest him at all. She was not the kind of girl, he would like to have around.
"Just do not encourage her, and neither does not give her ideas of things that will not happen"
"Why? Do not you like her? "Souji was pushing him.
"Not"
"Why not? Ahomi-chan is very pretty. "
"Yes she is, but I'm not interested anyway."
"So, some other girl?" Souji looked at him sideways.
Saito stopped to look at his friend, crossing his arms and analyzing him fixedly. "Why the interest?"
The young chestnut man shrugged. "Simple curiosity, there are many beautiful girls around here."
"You are too curious for my taste. If there were a girl, I probably would not tell you." The young indigo resumed his step.
"You still are not funny, Hajime-Kun." Souji followed him. "At least you would give me some clue?"
"Not."
Due to his refusal to answer any other question regarding the topic, Souji had given up by changing the subject to the practices they would use for training. Arriving at the kendo room, they were busy reviewing the equipment, so that it was ready for when the training will start. Several minutes passed when Kazama appeared next to Shiranui showing his usual sour face. Souji raised an eyebrow at the conditions of the young blonde man.
"Well! I see that finally someone gave you that you deserved." The young chestnut man smiled.
"Do not say foolishness. It was just an accident, but what are you going to understand?" Kazama argued with a frown.
"It's not that I'm interested." Souji left the kendo stick he had in place, and crossed his arms. "I just see that you always find an excuse not to train."
"Do you imply that Kazama is faking?" Shiranui asked annoyed.
"I only say what I see, but it's much better for me if he is not here, just like you."
Shiranui looked angrily at the guy chestnut, opened his mouth to say something when the young blond stopped him, placing the arm that was not injured in his shoulder and approached a little more.
"I had a nice day until I bumped into you." He spoke with annoyance.
"I could say the same. What do you say, Hajime-Kun?" Souji turned to the young Stoic who had not left his work.
"Do not get involved, Souji." It was the only thing Saito said. He did not intend to enter Kazama's game.
Kazama frowned, looking at the guys with superiority, he detested to both of them. He did not believe that they deserved the love that Chizuru professed them so devoutly, while he had to do everything, to get at least a few minutes of her attention. She should be by his side, not with them who were inferior to him.
"The only advantage of having a hurt arm, is that I will see you very little." he commented acidly. "At least for a few days, Ah! and also having the most beautiful personal nurse, I can ask for. "
"I do not think any girl can stand you for long." The young chestnut exhaled heavily.
"If Chizuru can endure you, I do not see the reason of why she cannot try with me. I'm much better for her." He finished.
Kazama looked at them with attention. He would have liked it to be true, but saying it, he knew it would bother them, at least for a while. Although it was not permanent, the girl had attended him in the morning and that was enough for him, so he was not lying at all.
Saito stopped short, what he was doing. It could not be true what he was listening to, he did not want to believe it was true. Although knowing the nobility and care of Chizuru towards others, Kazama could be telling the truth.
Faced with that possibility, he felt a tedious oppression in his chest that became more annoying every second. He rolled his eyes at Souji's laughter that did not lessen his discomfort at all.
"Who is going to believe something like that?" Souji asked.
"Do not believe me if you do not want to, anyway I do not have to prove anything to you." He turned around walking towards the exit. Shiranui smiled following the young blonde man and leaving the training room.
Souji breathed heavily, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Tsk! This guy is a pain in the ass. I just hope that Chizuru-chan is not going to fall into his game. "
"Chizuru likes to help; I doubt she will exclude anyone who needs assistance, even if that person is Kazama." Saito spoke with his usual tone; it was easier said than assumed it was true.
"Chizuru-chan is like my little sister. I'll kick the ass to anyone who tries to hurt her, starting with that idiot."
Saito resumed his work in silence. He was also willing to protect that girl. He had not grown up with her like Souji or Heisuke, but he also loved her in the same away or maybe much more. He knew he felt something more for her, something special, something so strong that it shook his whole interior and stirred his emotions, although he still could not decipher it, but he would.
He did not show it, but Kazama's words left him a bitter feeling. It was like an annoying thorn stuck in his chest. He knew that the guy did not want only the help of the young lady, he had other intentions and that was perhaps what he disliked most.
He took a deep breath, he had to push those thoughts out of him, because they affected him too much, he felt too restless and anxious to add more negative ideas in his head. He looked up as Souji hands him the kendo stick almost like a challenge.
"Two of three, the winner chooses the training line for a week."
Saito curled his lips in a tiny smile, rose from his position taking the kendo stick.
"It seems me right"
That kind of encounter had become habitual among them; it was a fun challenge, a game with a reward that either of them could win. He was grateful, just because now he needed to be distracted, to think of something other than Kazama's words, and what better than a kendo game to achieve it.
Chizuru was happy. She felt that she had done very well in the exam.
It was not that it had really been easy, but that she was well -prepared. Along with Saito, she had reviewed each topic emphasizing the mistakes she made and repeating them again. She had never felt so safe when taking a math test.
At lunchtime, she met his friends in the usual place, the roof. Seeing them was the best of the day, Okita always with his good humor, Heisuke with his friendly and genuine smile and Saito with his beautiful blue eyes and his calm presence that gave her so much peace.
"How was the test?" Saito asked both young people at the table, but his main focus was on the young woman at his side.
"Very good" Chizuru replied enthusiastically. "I checked it several times before delivering it. We just have to wait. With respect to Heisuke, he always does well."
"Not always, Chizuru-chan, but now, I studied a lot, I do not want to fail. "The younger smiled with a grimace.
"You better not fail; Heisuke, but you will clean the basement by yourself." Souji looked at the boy with a mocking smile that only bothered him.
"Oh no! You will not leave me with all the work, Souji. "
Chizuru smiled. The fights between Okita and Heisuke never ended. Sometimes they behaved like two small children.
"What about you, Saito-san? Will you do the photo shoot with Okita-san and the others? "
The young girl had trouble asking him, but her desire to know what he had decided was stronger. She cocked her head to see his friend's expression. Waiting anxious to hear his answer.
Saito looked at her for a few seconds, then at Souji with something of a claim; it was obvious that he had told her.
"What?" Souji shrugged. "I needed a little support, well, rather influences." He smiled. "And who's more suitable than Chizuru-chan."
Saito exhaled heavily. Souji was a meddler. He looked at the girl again denying her question.
"As I told Souji and Yamada-san, I do not like that kind of activities, they draw too much attention. "
Chizuru smiled softly, relieved at the answer she wanted to hear. She was definitely becoming a selfish person. Maybe it was because all of Saito's attention had been just for her in the last few weeks, and she did not want that to change. Even so, a part of her could not help feeling guilty.
"I see," she said quietly. "As you see, my help would not have been very helpful, Okita-san." Chizuru turned to the young chestnut that stirred some vegetables with his chopsticks. "Besides, I would not ask Saito-san to do something he did not feel comfortable with."
Saito tucked a weak smile. That was one of the things he liked most about Chizuru. She always worried about how he felt. Although, her words were not entirely correct. If she had asked him, at least he would have considered it, and if it had been to help her, he was sure that he had accepted the proposal. He was glad that she wasn't asking him, to her, he could not have said no. Sometime ago, he had accepted that he had a weakness for that girl, and in those circumstances he did not have much to do.
"You are very considerate, Chizuru-chan." The girl smiled again.
"As I said, we would have looked great. Right, Hajime-Kun? "Souji did not stop joking.
Saito ignored the comment of his friend concentrating on his lunch. As if he cared about that kind of thing. It was not that it was wrong, but it was not that it was so important either.
"You're already looking like to Kazama - Kun, of conceited, Souji." Heisuke spoke, stealing a ball of rice from his plate.
"Hey! What are you doing? "Souji frowned. "And stop comparing me to that idiot."
Chizuru gently inspired as her friends resumed their eternal discussion. She looked at Saito leaning a little towards him.
"In that, I do agree with Okita-san." Saito looked at her curiously, wondering what she meant. "You would have looked very handsome in the photos." The girl whispered to the Stoic young man.
Immediately she released the words, Saito felt as the blush rose up his cheeks warming them in the process. He brought both hands to his face trying to hide the shame he felt without much success. She always managed to tear down his walls with ease. She thought he would look attractive in the photos? How could the simple words of a girl manage to put him in that vulnerable state?
"Are you feeling good? Hajime-Kun. You have all the red face. "Souji commented maliciously.
"It must be because of the cold air." he said trying to sound convincing. The least I wanted was to have Souji over him all the time. "I have to take care of myself, so I do not get sick."
Souji raised an eyebrow, skeptical. Their conversation for a while ago, left him too curious, the idea that Saito was interested in a girl was spinning in his head lately. It was not that he wanted to meddle in the affairs of his friend, he was just curious about the girl who managed to tear down the cold walls he always raised around him.
Listening to the young indigo's last words, he remembered a very important matter that he had to confirm.
"Talking about diseases, Chizuru-chan, Is true that you're the nurse of the idiot of Kazama?" his voice sounded serious, although she could not to tell if he was annoyed.
"What do you say?" Heisuke almost choked the ball of rice he was eating.
Chizuru opened her eyes at his sudden question; she really did not expect it. She had to have guessed that Kazama would tell them. She had helped him, as she would have done with anyone, but being her personal nurse was too much.
Saito moved uncomfortably, he felt the same tightness in his chest as when he heard it the first time. He looked at the girl who seemed to be between surprise and confusion frowning. He watched her exhale gently, knowing they would soon know her answer.
"Kazama-san told you that, did not he?" she asked, relaxing her beautiful features.
Souji nodded. "The idiot knows how to bother us"
Chizuru rolled her eyes. "I'm not her nurse or anything like that, just changes his bandage this morning."
"Why Yamakazi-san did not it?" Heisuke applied his curiosity.
"He was not in the infirmary."
"Very convenient for Kazama." Chizuru said nothing at Heisuke's words. Her friends were too overprotective and it was not unknown to anyone that they did not like Kazama, well, she did not like him much either.
"As I said before, he's an idiot." Souji rolled his eyes.
Saito did not say anything about it, but he felt good with the girl's response, finally, that annoying feeling disappeared from his chest. He knew that it was not very good for him to be affected so much by this kind of situation when it came to Chizuru, but with respect to her, he could not control his emotions, although he tried, but he forgot everything when he had her by his side.
Chizuru was not surprised at the scene she observed boring. Every time Souji and Ibuki meeting in somewhere, they started an absurd and clumsy discussion usually was due to kendo, but it was always the same, they always fought for something. She knew that the meeting between them was inevitable, but she had wanted to avoid it if she could have.
What surprised her a lot was finding out that Kaori, the shy lady girl that she had met only a few months ago in that same cafeteria and had given her a gift for his friend Okita, was the youngest sister of Kenji, the Souji's opponent.
When the girl entered the place and called to him, brother, while she tries in vain that her brother to put aside the dispute with Souji, she could hardly believe it. Chizuru wondered if the girl had always known the rivalry of her brother with the young chestnut man, and if was so, Kenji would not like her interest in Souji. She looked at her, and she looked just as uncomfortable as she was. She hated that his friends got in trouble.
"Seriously, is Kenji-san your brother?" Chizuru asked, still hesitant after they both walked away from the group a bit.
Kaori nodded", we do not look very much like, right?" She smiled a little, smoothing her hair.
"No." Chizuru smiled back. "I did not imagine it."
"My brother is not bad, only sometimes it is very intense."
Chizuru nodded. His friends could be equally intense sometimes, although, Kenji apart from intense was a very upset person. However, Kaori was very different from her brother, she seemed very nice person.
"I had not seen you again around here." Chizuru changed the subject, curious, not to have seen her again since that day.
"I was traveling for a while. Now I intend to stay here, I hope we can friend. "
"I'd like that." Chizuru smiled. Maybe with her around, Kenji would behave better.
When the guys' tense conversation subsided, Chizuru dragged her friends to their table. She missed Saito's presence and although she understood it, because he had to work, at that moment she wanted him to really be there with her. He was able to prevent Souji and Heisuke from getting involved in those kinds of meaningless problems.
Saito had been reviewing the reports of the Tsubasa's students for some time, while the man was preparing a new test. He only needed to organize the last details for the new excursion that the eldest had scheduled and could go to his apartment to rest. He would have loved to accompany his friends to the cafeteria, but he had commitments to make.
"Saito!" The young man looked at him. "Do you have a copy of the last issue we were working on? I had one around here, but now I cannot find it. "
Saito rolled his eyes. How was he going to find something with so much clutter? He took out some books he carried outside his backpack, until he found the folder where he kept some papers. Distracted, he did not notice when Tsubasa, curious as he was, took one of the books.
"I did not know you liked reading this kind of books."
Saito looked up to see him leaf through the book that Chizuru had lent him. Tsubasa practically knew the types of books he liked to read. It was obvious he was going to ask. A book that involved the plot of a romantic novel was the last thing he would have taken from a library.
"I started reading it recently. It's not mine, it's from...
"Yukimura, I know." He cut it off. "It has her name on the first page." He smiled mischievously. "And how are the tutorials going with her? Is she doing well?"
"Yes, she is smart. She just needs practice." Saito ignored his annoying smile.
"And she has you for that."
Saito saw him smile softly, leafing through the book with interest, as if in its pages he was looking for a big secret. He wondered what he was thinking. When his curiosity reached the extreme, he used to be very annoying.
"It's amazing the power of persuasion that girls can have, do not you think, Saito?" His curious gaze fixed on him.
Saito shrugged. "I do not have much experience in that area." His Stoic expression did not change at all, not even when Tsubasa with his mischievous smile lifted the book he held in his hands, arguing the obvious.
"I wanted to read something new." He quickly took the book from his hands, putting it back in his backpack. He did not miss the malicious giggle the man let out. Tsubasa could be as annoying and obtrusive as Souji when he wanted to.
If Chizuru had any power of persuasion about him, he did not know, he did not care either, he just liked to see her happy.
"What?" Saito asked dryly to the man who looked at him with amusement.
"I did not say anything."
"I thought so." he released coldly. "Here's the copy." He handed her the sheet. "Let's get this over with."
Fortunately, Tsubasa said nothing more and concentrated on his work. He did not like being the center of the conversation, much less if it involved Chizuru. His relationship with her was his business and no one else's.
