A/N: you know when you have that Idea that you just randomly get, and suddenly seems like a fantastic Idea? this is exactly what this is. I might continue it but I'm not sure yet. So anyways here is my random idea... hope you enjoy.
"Granger, Hermione?" A goblin said calling her forward. Thank god he did because she has been waiting here for hours. "Hello there." She said kindly, digging into her purse for some paperwork. "Hello, So I see here you are wishing to file for un-employment is that correct?" Hermione shoved the paperwork into the goblin's hands. "Yes, that' right." The goblin looked her up and down disgusted. "It says here your.." He started, before she interrupted. "position got cut, yes."
The goblin glared at her again. "Did I ask for a interruption?" He said sourly. "No-" She started before the goblin interrupted. "I will add this to your money status, you have 1 month to find a stable job before you will be charged the full amount again, for money storage." Hermione sighed. "Ok, thank you." The goblin ignored her, and opened another file to see another clients papers.
Hermione hurried away from gringotts. What a disaster that was. She felt a couple raindrops fall onto her hair. She sighed and pulled out her umbrella from her purse. She felt like Mary Poppins as she did so. Suddenly it started to thunder, and the rain came down very fast. Hermione clenched her umbrella so tight, it snapped and broke. Her hair became drenched in a matter of seconds.
She tried to fix it with her wand, but got too distracted as she looked at the time. She was going to be late for her interview. She ran as quickly as she could across the street, until she entered the building she was looking for. She looked at her watch and was very thankful she didn't miss the interview. They where supposed to meet at a very popular restaurant in diagon ally.
Hermione quickly dried her hair with her wand, and then dried her clothes. She repaired her umbrella, before taking a deep breath and entering the restaurant. She almost admittedly recognized the interviewer, she had shiny black hair, with a golden skirt, and a black blouse. "Hello Darling, pleasure to meet you." She said kindly as Hermione took a seat.
"Pleasure to meet you too." Hermione said shortly. "So tell me about yourself." The interviewer said looking intrigued. "Well, I went to Hogwarts, and graduated top of my class, I worked as a creature's welfare department specialist, that I practically ran on my own, and here I am." Hermione said taking a sip of the wine. "Yes here you are, now Hillaird dear-" "-Actually it's Hermio-" "-right, now I hear that kind of things all the time, all O's in school, boring department bleh bleh bleh." The interviewer said draining her wine in one sip.
Hermione took a gulp in fright. "Listen dear, I want to hear more as someone important in the muggle world would say 'the good, the bad, and the ugly.-" Hermione tried to think hard on who the hell she was quoting. "-Anyways deary I just want to hear..it..all." Hermione took a deep breath and told her whole story. well most of it. She left out the part about her best friend being famous, and she left out her other best friends love story with h"er do to there more recent breakup.
No offence but that was boring, as hell. No wonder why your not a writer." The interviewer said, finishing up her food. "Anyways, I appreciate your time dear, but It probably won't happen. We need more of your story, more gossip, more facts for you to become the manager of our section in the prophet- about creatures I think." Hermione grabbed her bags and was getting ready to leave. What a utter waste of her time. "Don't be too down dear, not everyone makes it. That's why we are in the third page of the prophet."
Hermione threw her bag under her arm, and left abruptly. It's final, the world hated her today. She disappeared on the spot to her lonely flat on the outskirts of England. She threw her bag onto the counter in anger. She slid of her shoes, they where starting to get blistered. She whisked away into the kitchen to make some tea. She boiled the hot water, and then reached into the cabinet to grab the tea packet. While she waited for the water to boil, she saw her owl she was borrowing from a friend, swoop through the window.
"Bills, bills, oh that's new." She said out-loud. She looked at the envelope briefly before opening. The invites where black, with green lace. Very unique. She opened the card and read it briefly.

-Ginny Weasley and Harry Potter
Hermione finished reading it, before noticing there was a letter attached.
Dear Hermione,
Hey Minoe, it's been awhile. As you saw Gin and I are getting married. (finally) We would love to see you there, but because of the whole- erm sittuation.. and you didn't come we wouldn't be offended. I miss you alot Hermione, seriously. It's weird without my two best friends. Anyways, I also know it's last minute, but Ginny wanted you to be one of her bridesmaids, Like I said it's ok if you don't want to. Anyways I know Ron-
Hermione crumpled the letter in her fist. This was definitely bait. If she shows up to the wedding he will be there, and Harry was obviously trying to push them to be together. Yes she misses her best friends, but this is how it's going to be from now on. She missed Harry and Ginny so much, and wished them the best... But until she can face Ron again, nothing will happen.
She threw the letter away in the trash, and quickly hurried to her hot water. She pored it into her cup, and added the tea packet. She grabbed a book from her bookshelf, and drank her tea in peace while reading. However, whenever she tried to focus on the pages, the words felt blurred and off. She looked out the window and watched the rain fall. She slowly closed her book, and looked around her dark flat.
Images of her and Ron danced around the room. cooking together, watching TV on the couch, cuddling, singing, kissing. She felt a tear roll down her cheek, and quickly wiped it. She placed her book on the end table, dumped her tea and then went into the bedroom and tried to fall asleep. Nothing happened. her body just wouldn't cooperate. She laid on her bed restlessly for hours, before she finally fell asleep.
