(Currently In Universe 6 On Planet Sadala, At The King's Palace. . .)

"So let me get this straight. . ."

King Sadala pinched the bridge of his nose as he sat on his throne that surprisingly remained in great condition compared to the actual room itself. Cracks formulated throughout the floor. But, what's to say more will soon form judging from the obvious frustration that reverberated with the tone of his voice. Currently before him was one of his attendants who usually comes by regularly to relay information about various things going on within the kingdom but as of recently, that advisor became more of an informant on missions since the full-scale war against these unholy monstrosities. Though as of right now, he was sweating a little more than usual as he could feel the king's eyes practically locked onto him with a gaze hotter than the sun itself.

"My personal squad, to which I've trained personally myself and have the utmost trust in returns after failing to uphold the control of our south-eastern district, comes back from their 'redemption' mission in order to find my eldest with a small bag of rations and a few blankets? King Sadala repeated in a damn near unreadable tone.

The advisor nodded and gulped, "Y-Yes, tha-that is correct?"

"In a timespan of the two days I've given them?" He reaffirmed

Without a word and knowing that the second question was meant to fuel the already growing temper, the advisor had little to no choice but to nod in confirmation. He braced himself as the King's eyebrow twitched and his Ki practically flared so much in that instant that the already given cracks began to increase even further. If it weren't for the fact that most of the civilians hiding within the castle were underground, they would have panicked in fear that the castle was under siege atlas. A prideful race of Saiyan warriors from children, women, and men would have been out there fighting against any normal threat. But these things were beyond anything they were capable of handling. Those who volunteered to fight were first secretly being trained by already hardened soldiers and sent out to pretty much fight with little chance of survival. However, it was understandable due to the fact they had little time to spare anyways. That said, King Sadala wasn't a man of patience. He was the type to get the job done and move onto the next one as soon as possible. With this, "war" being his number one priority, he had nothing left of his attention span to give to scolding his troop's incompetence. However, deep down, the lack of information on his eldest's return was beginning to become the forefront of his worries.

He sighed, waving his hand as his aura settled down, "You are dismissed. Tell those idiots to split their teams to remain stationed at all the cardinal directions of the castle. We can't let our defense falter tonight." The advisor nodded and quickly left in order to avoid his king's gaze. As the door of his ruined throne room closed shut, he laid back and tried to relax in his chair as his mind began to dwell on the matter at hand while looking at the papers given to him from numerous reports. He read through them, a hand acting as a surface of rest for the side of his face while his eyes skimmed through them.

"It's been two days and the only bit of progress we made was slowing down the number of deaths even further and securing some small batch of rations. Other than that, judging from the reports, we still have yet to uncover who or what is behind all this," he pondered, sighing as another, dreadful thought plagued his mind. After sending Okara on his mission, he'd expected them to return in no longer than an hour after departure. It was relatively an easy and safe mission that was of grave importance considering their supplies here but after the thirty minutes in of the estimated time, he knew something wasn't right. Now here he was, sitting on his throne 2 days later feeling like complete and utter trash. How stupid could he be? Yes, he trusted his well accomplished son but considering the situation at hand, he himself had literally no idea what in the hell they were up against, nor did he understand their habits as close as he was to figuring out their weakness. That alone should have raised flags but. . ., "Did I overestimate him. . ."

Feeling another migraine coming, he placed a hand on his forehead and shook his head. He couldn't dwell on worrying about his kin right now. He, as King Sadala of the Saiyan race of Universe 6 had a duty. Just like the King Sadala before him and so on, his kin were expected to either die a valiant death for the sake of the planet or soon become king themselves. That was the hardened mindset of the Saiyan race's royal family. Something instilled into his very soul since birth. Sighing, he leaned back and continued to read the content of the papers before suddenly feeling a hand on his shoulder. He didn't have to look to see who it was, the feeling somewhat familiar to an old friend, "What do you want, Renzo?"

"Honestly, nothing much. Just wanted to let you know that the Romalian's Shield System is up and running at full power atlas. We don't have to worry too much about the enemy getting any surprise attacks during the night," Renzo informed.

The king nodded in acknowledgement, "I see, well that's one less thing I have to worry about. Any information on Okara's whereabouts or his team." Renzo narrowed his eyes before shaking his head.

"No. . .unfortunately we've sent other teams in search of them all day but we couldn't find anything. Not even a clue," Renzo answered, noticing the king's face begin to twist for a split second. The normal person would've missed it but for someone like Renzo who has known him for years, he could tell. The thought of his eldest being killed on his orders has definitely affected him.

That thought alone would have been impossible if it were the old him. However, ever since marrying the Queen, there was no denying it anymore, "You've sure gone softer throughout the years. . ." He muttered it under his breath but King Sadala still managed to pick up on the comment. Though unexpectedly, he let it slide and merely grunted.

"I blame you two," He said, not even attempting to deny it. He was just too tired to do so, "Right now, we have to figure out our counterattack and fast. We can't rely on Chaya to arrive with those Saiyans of our sister universe and already put the lives of our allies at risk in this fight. The Romalian Shield System will buy us a few more days around the castle but without resupply on its energy source, we won't last."

"You're right about that, and there isn't much I can do in my condition other than teach the volunteers and give out advice on battle tactics which isn't much since I'm not there to give the orders. However, there has been something peculiar that seemed to be common each time it occurred," Renzo noted.

King Sadala raised an eyebrow at this after flipping over one of the pages. It may have been coincidence, but he may have a guess on what he may be trying to imply. He glanced over, nodding for his former general to continue on with his idea before he noticed him stare outside of the large window of the throne room. The "night" really wasn't completely dark as the moon's luminance was overshadowed by the rays of seemingly ominous white light coming from the converging clouds. It's been that way since the whole nightmare began. However, now that he thought about it, the first sight that they saw was. . .

"Whenever any of our men tried to scope out what was exactly up there, swarms of those monsters seem to appear to intercept them rather aggressively. With the few that managed to escape each time, they all reported seeing the same thing behind them. . ." Renzo noted with his king listening intently. He turned and looked him dead in the eye, "It may sound strange but, they could have sworn they were seeing the sky above being distorted around some black orb or hole. It was unclear as to what it may be but judging from their arrival, it—"

"May be the source of all this. If we manage to destroy it then we'll be able to prevent them from spawning more of those things," King Sadala finished, finally getting the idea.

Renzo nodded, "Likewise but it's more difficult than it seems. There are other reports that even getting close to it had them frozen in place before slowly disintegrating into smoke. We could just use energy blasts of course but there are so many of them that it makes it hard to get a clear shot without one of them getting in the way. If we were to commit to this, we'd likely have to utilize all our troops in the castle and city in order to stand invade. . .no, we'll need everyone on the planet to attack all at once. At that point. . .It's all or nothing with little gain to it."

"You're right, though if those Saiyans arrive on schedule and are as strong as we make them out to be, then we'll be fine. However, we will still need to plan until they arrive. Wouldn't hurt to at least guarantee success as a pass time," King Sadala suggested with a bit more hopefulness.

Renzo smirked, seeing that he had regained a bit of energy from some good news. However, in that moment, from the peripherals of his eyes, something twinkled a bit in the distance. He could swear he was beginning to see things due to the lack of sleep and his rustiness from the battlefield has hindered his usually sharp eyesight but if he were a betting man on the usual occurrences in his life then. . .As soon as one good thing happens, everything starts to hit the fan.

In another flash of the same light he saw, this time becoming more noticeable to even the King himself, something seemingly began to move fast towards their direction. Their eyes widened in complete shock, the object soon appearing to be a large, pinkish-red spear that collided with the magenta shield surrounding the castle. The impact was loud, causing those who had once fallen asleep to wake up from the sound of the power struggle between a defensive juggernaut and an unstoppable force of mass destruction. The spear grinded against the barrier, causing powerful, spiraling shockwaves to rupture the already destroyed outer parts of the castle behind it. Soon enough, the shield finally began to crack much to their dismay before ultimately. . .it shattered into multiple energy shards that were extinguished into nothing. The spear flew through the castle and down into the ground on the other side, and dragged across the ground before literally blowing a hole through the other wall and out into the distance where it left a large trail of destruction. There was a short pause before suddenly. . .half the castle began to slide clean off before smashing into the ground. Screams of sheer panic could be heard echoing throughout the night and smoke began to rise from the crumbling rubble.

Renzo coughed a few times as King Sadala stood firm in his spot the whole time, his eyes staring off into the distance and ignoring that half his throne room had been destroyed. Thankfully everyone was underground in the bunkers on the other side but still. . .This had to be the worst type of timing yet. As he regained his breathing, Renzo faced forward to see the mass destruction before them. Many of their men stationed on that end were either heavily injured or just dead and buried under rubble. If he looked a bit harder, some were even vaporized from the attack itself and the wall had been completely annihilated. He swallowed, unable to believe that such a thing could happen. He's heard of the rumored Gods of Destruction, beings who are said to be capable of erasing their universe by simply playing fighting or whenever they felt like it. He's heard from Cabba and even his own sister surprisingly that they were fighting during the Tournament of Power who were capable of challenging these beings and yes. . .he's been erased once and brought back. All these things were powers of unrival destruction that brought forth a form of doubt and dread in those who see it and unlike the time he was erased. . .this time, he was there to witness something possibly comparable.

"The Romalian's Shield System. . .said to be the strongest, technological shield in the universe constructed by Romalian's greatest scientist. . .was destroyed just like that?! Nothing said they'd have the capabilities to achieve something like that! It is said that we'd need thousands of our best troops to even make a hole in it!" Renzo exasperated.

However, King Sadala remained calm and spoke sternly, "You're right, something's fishy but no matter. . ." The last bit of his words raised a bit of curiosity in the former general. He turned to look at his old friend with confused eyes, only to see his determined expression at face value. He knew that look and he had been waiting for something like this to happen since this war.

"Renzo, tell our communications to let everyone know to rally up anyone who can fight," He ordered with a pause, a scratch on his cheek that was formed from the surprise attack beginning to bleed down his cheek with narrow eyes, "We're taking our gamble early and launching a full-scale counter-attack on the epicenter of the light!"

Yes, it was finally time to fight back.

(Meanwhile, Somewhere Towards The Location of The Epicenter Of The City. . .)

As soon as the smoke began to clear in the distance from which one could see on top of a destroyed being, sirens and horns could be heard from afar as the mysterious culprit snickered in amusement. After dragging things on for so long, he was finally able to finish up this job and get off this planet as things were starting to get dull for him. However, before he could relish in the thought, a familiar voice echoed throughout his mind telepathically, his eyes widening in a bit of surprise before regaining his composure as they spoke, "I take you finally found someone compatible?" The relatively pleased and sophisticated tone was all that he needed to hear to verify who it was. He smirked, chuckling even for a bit before replying.

"Yes, you were right to send me here. Saved me the trouble of wasting my time on several more planets. Don't worry, I'll be back with what we wanted soon enough after I finish the rest of the little mice off," Krugel assured.

There was a slight pause after that before he heard an interesting reply, "No, no need to rush things just yet. There is another. . .well rather an important reason as to why I sent you here, Krugel." Intrigued, he couldn't help but to raise an eyebrow at the sudden addition that piqued their interest. Usually, it is the same and normal task of searching planet to planet and if none were shown worthy then he'd just destroy it. Well. . .not like it mattered in the end anyways.

"An additional task, hmm?" Krugel hummed.

"Why yes," the voice reaffirmed, "To be extra cautious with our plans, we need to take into account every variable as you may already know. The Gods of Destruction and their angels are one thing but they can be dealt with if all things go well. The Grand Priest may be tricky and fortunately for us, those poor projections are nothing more than children. However, there is a certain X-factor. . .a wild card per say."

"A wild card?" Krugel repeated in further curiosity.

As if he could feel an internal nod in response, the voice continued, "I need to confirm whether 'his' essence has finally surfaced." Finally realizing what he meant by that, his eyes widened in a tad bit of shock before pressing further for questions. He was kind of bored at the moment, casually waiting for the eventual "last stand" that follows suit in these types of situations.

"You mean 'him'? The one you spoke of in your past? Why would–?" He asked.

"It's because out of every single race within the multiverse, these Saiyans that they like to call them are his doing after all. So, it'd be logical to assume that if it were to happen anywhere then it'd be here where the abundance of potential vessels are high." The voice explained, interrupting him mid thought.

After processing that, Krugel nodded, "Ah, that makes sense. . ."

"Good, I trust you to accomplish this without fail. Don't let me down, Krugel," The voice mused before disconnecting the telepathic connection. That concluded, Krugel stood up from his spot and began to stare off blankly into the distance, his mouth forming a grin in anticipation at the carnage that was to come, a trait of his that definitively made him more unlikable to several of his allies than he'd like to even care for. Things were going rather smoothly for him and this additional recon task of his should be easy. Naturally, he is very wary of anything unexpected, considering his mission required him to be prepared for anything. However, knowing that he might be among them is definitely unsettling and needs to be his top priority. Perhaps during the carnage, he'll be able to tell whether or not it's true anyways. That said, he looked over behind him and asked the question aloud, "You must be excited as me? Time to see if you're up to par."

(Returning Back To King Sadala's Castle, In Front Of Destroyed Main Gate. . .)

Back at the castle, things were shown to be relatively calm despite the overwhelming damage that had occurred to their main fortress. The main gate had been completely obliterated along with the destruction of the shield with multiple of the injured currently being carried off underground for medical treatment within the castle. Though on another side, as those who were severely injured let out groans and cries of agony, the remaining soldiers and even the volunteers were currently rallied together and lined up row by row in front of the gate. Each of them didn't dare to blink as before them, they could see the amount of damage of what had happened with their very eyes and more alarming. . .the ominous feeling of the clouds in the distance beginning to circle and grow darker despite the unholy light at the opening's center. Though, distracting them from them would be the sound of several footsteps overlaying over the sound of debris being crushed. All eyes bore into the approaching figure that made their way to the center, his royal insignia on his armor with his bright red cape flowing behind him demanded respect as if that person was their king. . .King Sadala in the flesh.

With eyes face forward in a stern manner that was mimicked by 2 other Saiyan soldiers dressed in similar clothing, each dawning different colors. One, a tall male roughly 6'9 in height, slicked-back spiky hair and large muscles while a scar ran down across his left eye. Below him though was a shorter male with longer black hair that was tied into a spiky, low ponytail, his armor a dark purple compared to the taller male's brown. Though, as they stood sternly next to each other, the tension of rivalry between them had always remained evident but this had been suppressed a bit due to the current circumstances forcing them to put a hold on it for now.

Without wasting time after taking a glance at the clouded sky, he knew he couldn't waste time. He had already spread the word and sent messages from across the planet so if they were going to do this now it was he was going to have to make this quick. He turned, taking in the sight of all his fellow Saiyans who looked ready for conflict when it arose. It was something that he prided in his race's natural instinct to relish in the face of imminent life or death situations, moreso, when it came to the people that he ruled. Days on end he suppressed their urge to fight back in order to preserve as many lives as possible when it came to the day they needed to strike back. An underrated tactic when it came to a full-scale battle and even war. Why blindly launch a counterattack without figuring out the enemy first? Not only would it have cost him millions of lives but also would have put him in an even worse position since they were already outnumbered to begin with. Knowing this, he cleared his throat and began. . .,"My men. . ."

Every pair of eyes fell upon their undisputed leader. The one who bears the name of their planet.

"Today is the day of retaliation," King Sadala affirmed, repeating, "Retaliation against the ones who had the gall to enact oppression against us. For days, we've waited patiently, our burning and indomitable hearts for battle that has been quelled with peace once again being tempted."

The wind began to blow, the storm drawing closer and closer as each and every word left King Sadala's mouth, "And like a predator we've atlas found our means of launching a full-scaled attack. On this day, we shall eradicate the source of our enemy's troops and eliminate them once and for all!" His voice became louder and more energized as he pointed at the exact target in the distance that hid themselves among the clouds. A natural and cliche' skill of a leader to do, but, like most cliches. . .they worked. The eyes of his troops began to ignite with sparks as he continued.

"That's right!" King Sadala shouted, noticing the glints in their eyes, "In this fight, remember the lives that were lost! Our fellow men and allies that they've murdered! As members of the Saiyan race who have sworn to uphold nobility and integrity within this universe, we shall not take this insult lightly!"

Flashes of his missing son came into his mind unexpectedly, somewhat fueling the flame within as he continued. Without warning, he turned towards the already destroyed gate that made a path towards the battleground that awaits them. From the distance, he could already see the rays of light of the allied forces fast approaching. The storm was almost here. . .,"So, after simmering the ashes of your rage, dig deep and reignite it into a flame! Let that flame turn into an inferno fueled by your frustrations and allow the wind of the fallen carry you forward. . .!"

There was a pause as the wind began to pick up, everyone suddenly tensing up as they felt an immense pressure that oddly enough, excited them despite the silence. Everyone waited for the signal to move into action as their king sternly glared daggers as enemies began towards the opening of the clouds, as if they knew they were going to come. With a deep breath, he roared, igniting the souls of his troops at the castle with his charismatic Ki flaring to life before finishing his sentence, "Withhold those feelings and our enemies will only have hell awaiting them!"

The tone and sternness within his voice that obviously diffused into a speech of empowerment was common among leaders throughout history. Wise words were what gave guidance. Powerful ones were what enamored and Courageous ones were what moved the heart. All these piled on top of each other one after another, multiple times over until finally, the burning flame for battle would be ignited. That was what laid true within a race where the battlefield was all but natural to them. In response to the King of these people, roars and cries for battle against the oppressor erupted, their hearts entwined on a single goal; Reach the epicenter and destroy the enemy's source. Even if it cost their lives. As their restlessness was now becoming vocalized, King Sadala all but turned towards his generals, his eyes giving them an unspoken amount of trust.

"General Galalang," King Sadala began, garnering the attention of the larger man present next behind him, "I want you to take control and command the right wing while General Gherk takes the left wing."

Not saying a word, the two generals nodded while Renzo stood off to the side, his body clearly not in the shape to partake in the battle though he knew full well of his intentions. King Sadala had always upheld good relations with the other races' armies ranging from the Metalmen, Namekians, Romalians, and even the Tuffles. Aside from the Namekians and Metalmen, the Romalians and Tuffles were both at a disadvantage in the mix of this large army due to their lack of personal strength due to the reliance on technological advancement such as barrier formations and enhanced weaponry. That obviously in mind, to bolster the chance of less casualties, sending two of his strongest personnel was the best move to make judging from the formation so far. An army led from the right and another from the left which only left one remaining position suited for King Sadala himself.

"I'll be taking our elites and best personnel as the vanguard," He concluded.

Renzo narrowed his eyes in a bit of concern, "Yup, as expected. When the Queen's not here, he becomes reckless. . ." This was clearly the Eagle formation, one designed to encase the enemy who resided in a single point. The safest spots would be from the left and right which acted as the wings while the middle was easily meant to be the main line of attack. Though that always meant it was the most dangerous. Renzo knew that since this exact formation was what made him a cripple despite the success he had. The whole purpose of the vanguard was to be the focal point of attention, to distract the enemy for the crucial moment to encirclement that would trap the enemy. However, this in return also bears the responsibility of enduring the forefront of the enemy's attack and in this current context, could very well cost many of their men to be lost. But, what other choice did they really have? Waiting now with their defenses weak and their numbers dwindled would be like accepting death as it is. They had no choice but to take the offensive, even if they were relying on theory and grasping at straws. It was frustrating to say the least, the former general balling his fist tightly with a bead of nervous sweat running down the side of his face and dripping down to the floor. As soon as the liquid formed from anxiety splashed, King Sadala turned to face towards the battleground.

Time must not be wasted.

Their flame has been ignited.

Now, the time for war has come.

(Planet Sadala, Near The Center Of The Capital City. . .)

Krugel inwardly took in a smirk, mirth creeping up and bleeding into his face from the sight all around him. From afar, he could see the flying lights of Ki heading towards the sky. From afar, he could hear the idignate war cries of honor and from where he stood, he couldn't help but imagine all that passion being morphed and drowned into chaos. The mere thought alone was enticing enough as he looked up at their obvious target, "My, my, have they gotten desperate. Though, I'll give them credit where it's due, they aren't dumb enough to not acknowledge the obvious. That said, to try and destroy the 'Passage' head-to-head is foolheartedly."

"As expected," A comment behind him added.

He couldn't have agreed more. With how many of the Mara that had passed through the Passage, they were left into a predicament that only left them with an option to act. It was only accelerated thanks to his newest addition to the greater cause. That said, he was in fact tempted to destroy the planet right now, but with the possibility of him being among them was worth investigating. From what he could recall, he or rather, the carrier of his will would only become apparent in response to the presence of his own Ki. Though that is also said to be the same for the rest of them, it was essentially a occurence symbolizing their defiance against them. Irritating in many ways more than one but convenient enough to not be too much of a hindrance. His incarnation so far hasn't appeared to conflict with them anyways. However, one couldn't be. . .too careful. If things were to come to pass, it'd be up to his lord to decide on how to proceed and consider their history. . .

"Well. . .," Krugel sighed, "There is no other time like the present."

At the ends of his words came a sudden gradual increase in the winds that whipped through the deserted buildings. The clouds above slowly began to swirl around the opening, as if they were responding to Krugel's sudden gesture of raising his right arm before snapping his figures. The sound reverberated and stretched out throughout the terrain. It was unusual for a mere snap of the fingers to be this loud. . .even more so that the clouds surrounding the opening slowly began to glow. Little by little, the gradual winds began to pick up speed even further to the point that it was starting to become akin to a hurricane. As the opposing army drew near from nearly all sides, slowly but surely, little white dots that were only obscure due to the distance they were behind him began coming. Their sheer speed on arriving at the scene became apparent on what they were, with multiple being recognized as the false holy figures that berated their planet. The Mara were all gathering to finish the job. In addition to this, from within the clouds, one could see a numerous number of them also starting to fill the hole yet they seemed to be more inclined on remaining on standby instead of charging in.

The sight itself already insinuated a bloodbath witho how many there were along with more seemingly duplicating on the whim. However, this alone didn't discern the king from leading the charge. He knew what they were getting themselves into and how many lives were gonna be lost but as someone whose pride was compared to the prince within Universe 7; standing by and waiting was never a real option. With the distance dwindling ever so closer, he could make out the Namekians and the other supporting forces that hailed from other planets. To say that this was more reassuring was an understatement. That said, he turned his head towards his enemies in front of them, their appearance now easier to make out. The hairs on his body began to tingle, his eyes laying upon them with scruitnity. His hands clenched tighter, the anticipation of battle revving up his hardened senses. This was a feeling he was all too familiar with yet it felt more intense and he knew why. In all his years since he took up the mantle of King of Planet Sadala, he had been through many battles and even wars. Each one came with their own difficulties but with how strong the Saiyans were in general, it never had gotten to the point where it took place on his own planet let alone being backed into a corner like a mouse getting toyed with by a hungry cat. A frown on his face formed at the thought.

War with uncertainty truly was frightening.

(Meanwhile, With Kuzuku and The Others In Universe 6. . .)

To say that Kuzuku was just about ready to jump out of the Universe Cube wasn't far from the tree to say the least. In a less amount of time within these past two days, he had quickly come to see the differences from traveling within a spaceship. Aside from the obvious speed difference, the drawback from traveling within the cube was obvious. . .There was no room for any sort of privacy along with hardly any space. Granted, he self-noted that he should have realized it sooner considering this form of transportation was only accessible for the gods but that still didn't help coping with the tribulations that he had to endure. If he had to deal with the combination of Goku's snoring, Vegeta discomfort grunts from the addition of Caulifla's "rough" sleeping habits that lead him to be a meat shield for Kale then he was really leaning towards instant transmissioning randomly until he finds the planet. Though now it was proven to be too late since they were drawing near towards the location and from what he can see, everyone was becoming a bit unnerved as his eyes darted between each person.

For Goku to seem that way before a fight was an understatement considering he would be the poster-boy of a battle-loving idiot although he could understand why. It wasn't exactly Ki that was bugging them but the overall feeling that seemed to fill the universe. It was inexplicable to describe with mere words but it made them shudder at how misleadingly angelic it was while still withholding some sinister intent. Bloodlust was one thing but for it to be felt from their location while holding some form of impassiveness was alarming. Nonetheless, they knew they couldn't overthink things and let it distract them. As they passed by what looked to be a small, dim star, Kuzuku took the chance to take one thing into consideration as he gave Whis and Vados a questioning look to garner their attention.

"Say, just wanna run things one more time for the sake of being on the same page. . .," Kuzuku said.

Vados nodded, "Go on."

"Well," Kuzuku began with a pause, his face showing no emotion other than seriousness, "We're getting close to Planet Sadala, right?"

"Uh huh?" Vados affirmed.

"And once we are close, you two will drop off at the Exosphere because. . .?" Kuzuku raised an eyebrow.

Whis raised a finger before answering, "We don't want to alert the potential threat of our presence and will allow us to observe from afar and find the cause of it all. That and the energy that seems to be exuding from Planet Sadala is alarming itself and harmful. If not contained further, it could spell trouble for the surrounding planets near it."

"Which is why we'll be sent down in order to buy you enough time to find the exact cause of the issue?" the primal Saiyan added.

"Exactly, so we'll be counting on you all," Whis affirmed with cheerful encouragement.

Kuzuku sighed, "Sounds like todays gonna be a long day. If we're lucky, you'll either find the cause upon first glance or we stumble upon it on entry."

"I'll say," Vegeta begrudgingly added.

"Yeah well, I don't really care too much even though this feeling does give me the shivers," Goku commented as he stretched his arms and legs before adding optimistically, "Maybe this is a sign of a good fight coming? You know, just like Brol–."

"I highly doubt it," Caulifla interjected bluntly.

With a pout, the hero of Earth complained, "Awww, don't be like that. Life is full of it and you'll never know how strong your next opponent may be! Man, just thinking about it gets me pumped!" At this point, Caulifla stared at him with disbelief, her mouth opening and closing. She knew she was a battle-loving maniac herself but this old man takes it to another level.

Unsurprisingly it wasn't her who made the remark but Kale, "I wonder how you're so easy going. . ." Goku chuckled at her comment and could only respond with his trade-mark grin before Queen Chaya supplied her with an answer.

"I may not be like him, but think about it this way. If you let yourself become filled with stress then as a woman you'll start to wrinkle faster. At that point, you'll never find a mate," She assured confidently.

However, as Kale nervously smiled, Caulifla scoffed, "Guess that's too bad for you." In that moment, the air and tension within the Cube began to grow thick enough to cause Kuzuku to shiver from his spot while Vegeta calmly began to scoot over to a corner. Over the past two days they've been in this Cube, one thing they've come to learn when it came to Caulifla and the Queen was that they were like water and fire; Natural enemies. The first time they got into it was enough to somehow divide the cube as if they were holding a civil war and unfortunately for Lottus. . .he had to be the mediator. Chaya glared down at Caulifla who gave her an equal glare back.

"Listen, little girl. As I said before, if we weren't in this Cube right now, I wouldn't be taking your level of disrespect," Queen Chaya growled though Caulifla didn't look the least bit intimidated.

In fact, she gestured nonchalantly and rolled her eyes, "And like I said before, it wouldn't have mattered. I'll kick your ass even if you had a whole platoon. I've been embarrassing your soldiers since I was 15 before anyways."

"Grrrrr, you're so lucky you are Renzo's little sister otherwise I'd have you jailed by now!" Chaya grumbled, knowing full well that she was right. At Caulifla's current level of power, she could very well do exactly that and then some. Such wasted potential as a bandit yet could have been a great female general like herself. If anything, Chaya had contemplated on attempting to tame her and take her under her wing to become her successor. Yes, all she needed was to cool her head and—

"Jail me? Man, if someone as old and wrinkly as you were to do that then Hell must have entered the ice age," Caulifla jested smugly.

*BANG*

Even though there were no guns or any sort of weapons within the Cube, all those present could swear they heard a gunshot go off. The once thick air of tension had been cut and gone cold after those words were said. To normal Saiyan, mocking one's strength was an insult, a cultural thing that hadn't diminished in Universe 6. Mocking the Queen or a Saiyan of high status. . .that was certaining something that could start a war. Cabba turned his head to the Universe 6 prince, "Lottus. . ." Hearing the low plea from his friend made him frowned considering he knew what was coming next.

"Yeah. . .I kno—MOTHER WAIT!" Lottus said before leaping into action. Immediately, he found his arms wrapped under his mother's armpits as she snarled and stomped her feet in an attempt to lunge at Caulifla and leaned against a wall with a satisfactory smirk on her face. . . for the fourth time within two days.

Kuzuku sighed, pinching his nose as he knew that from the previous other times that this had happened, it'd take a while for her to calm down. He looked around, hoping to see something outside of the cube to draw his attention away from what was going on only to notice how blank Ryo's face was. Ever since they left, he'd been oddly quiet which was out-of-character ever since he knew him. He didn't necessarily confront him before about it but seeing how this was like killing two birds with one stone, Kuzuku decided to scoot over towards him before taking a seat, the action gaining his attention.

"So, how are you holding up? Nervous. . .?" Kuzuku asked?

Ryo blinked before responding, "A-A bit. I may not look at it but this isn't my first time heading into a war zone. Though, most of the time it's just me being a headless chicken"

"I see, just asking because you seemed to be staring out into space a lot. Well, granted in a literal sense that'd be the case but you catch my drift, heheh," Kuzuku chuckled a bit before turning to look up at the ceiling of the object, "You know, you didn't have to come along. If you're scared you can sit up here and wait with Whis. . ."

Despite the clear commotion going on in the background, there was a silence between them. Ryo could feel his face becoming a bit crestfallen before smirking with mirth. Something that didn't go unnoticed to Kuzuku though he couldn't tell exactly what he was thinking. Ryo looked down, his eyes trying to say something yet his words kept them hidden, "Don't worry, I'm not scared at all. For you, I have to do this."

Confused, Kuzuku raised an eyebrow at him as he smiled. Though, before he could ask further, he simply turned his head to hide his face. It was strange, he was usually very social but in this very moment, the Saiyan felt that he was trying to convey something to him. Was it devotion? Perhaps so considering they sheltered him and gave him food during his few months on Earth. But for some reason, Kuzuku couldn't help but feel this devotion was different. That it wasn't directly because of their small time together. For some reason, it felt like he said that simply because their bond was deeper than he had initially thought and oddly enough, something told him it was understandable yet he couldn't understand why. As if he acknowledged it yet couldn't put into words as to why he did. The feeling itself was confusing, and unknowingly enough, he found himself pondering, "What. . .is this feeling?"

A/N: More Foreshadowing ;)? Now before I get onto my thoughts when making this chapter and what not, I'll go out to be honest. I had this done two days ago xD. I was distracted because I was learning how to make mod Xenoverse 2 from a friend. Downside, I forgot to upload BUT, I DID get to revamp Kuzuku's appearance albeit and manage to get a good starting point for what's to come in the future in terms of designs.

That aside, yes, atlas the beginning of the big battle on Sadala will begin and the pacing shall be quickened since this is really only the prelude arc for the main plot which is inspired on a composite mythologically that Dragon Ball itself has ties too. Aside from that, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Until we meet again ^_^!
