To her surprised Hermione saw Draco Malfoy standing at the front of her door, on her porch. "Draco?" She said surprised wiping off her tears and looked at him with overall shock. "Erm-sorry this isn't the best time. I could come back later?" Draco said alarmed to see her ruffled appearance. "Oh no, it's fine. Come in." She said opening the door wider and closing it behind him. His hair had gotten so long it curled, he had a thin beard and a grayish-green sweater on. He was tall, and muscular.
"For you." He said placing a small group of flower's onto the table. "Thank you, have a seat if you want." Hermione said pointing to her crumpled love-seat. Draco sat down reluctantly on the corner of the couch. Hermione grinned to herself watching his discomfort. "So what do you need Draco. It wasn't like we where on speaking terms. In fact...How did you get my address?" Draco raised his eyebrow. "Well, yes we weren't exactly talking. I came here to ask if you would like to get coffee sometime? I've changed. I really have. Or at least I'm trying. I hated my life before. I want to be better, I want to change my outlook on life. You seemed like the best person to come to. Especially since Potter hates me and let's face it, Weasley will probably beat me up." Hermione flinched at the name Weasley. Draco didn't seem to notice.
"Alright. I'll do it." Hermione said glumly. "Really? Thanks!" Draco said finding sudden excitement. "My father would be so furious if he knew I went to a mudb-" Draco cut off and corrected himself. "-A muggleborn... See I'm really trying!" Hermione couldn't help but let a small laugh escape her throat and just like that, Her and Draco where talking for hours (with a heavy influence of spicy juice.)
"Uhh my head hurts like hell." Hermione said miserably. She was in her bed with a throw blanket over her, her head pounded and last night was a blackout. "Oh good your awake. I hope you don't mind that I stayed, I slept on the couch far away from you. I just didn't want to leave you here alone-" Hermione interrupted him. "Oh it's fine." Hermione looked at his appearance. His pale chest glistening. His sweater thrown on the couch next to him. Hermione looked at him amazed. He blushed slightly, his cheeks turning redder by the minute. "I should get to work." He said humming to himself slightly as he pulled on his shirt, and ran out the door closing it behind him.
"Oh, your here again." The goblin said miserably. Hermione glared at him. "I have decided to go back to school. What will happen to my account when I do so?" The goblin sighed. "Well, when you do that we will deny any income which means you will be forced to pay the full fee's again. Which then will start to turn into loans that you will have to pay off once you graduate. I would suggest getting a second job while at school." The goblin said annoyed. "Any more annoying questions?" The Goblin added. "Nope, thank you." Hermione said through her teeth. "Your not welcome. Someone is looking for you by the way. Don't ask who because I don't care enough to tell you, NEXT!" The goblin said quickly ending the conversation.
"Hermione! Hermione wait it's me Bill!" Bill called to her, as she turned to leave. Hermione shook her head. "I don't have time to talk to you Bill. Ever." Hermione said annoyed. Bill grabbed her arm and pulled her into a spare office. "I'm worried about him Hermione. As his big brother I'm supposed to look after him. he's been depressed. Drinking and working way too much. I don't know what to do." Bill said desperately. " I don't give a damn how he feels! You don't think I'm not holding on by a thread ever single day. He should feel lucky! He has a big family to support him, and a best friend. LUCKY HIM. This is HIS problem and HE can deal it like a big boy and not like a arse that he's always been!" Bill looked at her shook. "Now tell him to keep his fucking family off my back and fight his own damn battles!" Hermione stormed away from gringotts leaving Bill to ponder his brother's sanity, along with hers.
