Now with more allies in Chaldea after a couple more summonings, the group starts to prepare to tackle the next Singularity.
Gwen was shocked after meeting so many new people after getting to Chaldea. She knew some very interesting people when working side by side with the Sentinels of Light, yet this was on a whole nother level.
Assasins cloaked in shadows, knights from other ages, summoners fighting with giant beasts by their side. Despite this place not being Runeterra, Gwen couldn't help but feel somewhat at home in Chaldea.
"Hey, Gwen, mind training with me later?" - Cu, a Lancer, asked the girl.
"I would be delighted to!" -
Gwen loved to train with these new companions, as they had weapons and combat styles she had never seen before. From shining swords to deadly spears, Chaldea had it all, yet this time she wouldn't be able to fight, as there was something more important.
Ritsuka and Mash entered the cafeteria and started to eat as fast as they could.
"Wow, what's with the rush Master?" - Cu asked.
"We're going to go to the next Singularity, so we need to eat good before we travel" -
"A new mission? Can I join you once again?" - Gwen asked.
"If you want to, you can come with us. We were preparing a team for the journey anyways" -
"Amazing! I'll start sharpening my scissors" - Gwen was awfully excited to join Ritsuka and Mash in the next Singularity, which while they both found it a bit strange, they didn't really think much of it.
After finishing their food, the 3 started to make their way towards the Command Center, where they met the other 4 Servants that had been selected to travel with them: Jeanne Alter, Artoria Pendragon, Caster Cu and Heracles.
"Oh Jalter, I'm delighted to see we'll be traveling together" - Gwen said when seeing the Alter.
"I told you not to call me that, just call me Jeanne or Alter!" -
"You two seem to be in high spirits" - Cu joked.
"Agh, let's just get this over with" - Alter said while trying to keep her distance from Gwen.
Ritsuka and Mash entered their coffins just as Gwen turned herself into a doll and jumped inside Ritsuka's one while Fou jumped inside Mash's. The Servants all entered on their own and in a few seconds, their journey started towards the Second Singularity.
Singularity 2:
Eternal Madness Empire: Septem.
The Emperor of Roses.
A.D. 0060.
The Servants were safely teleported to land alongside their Master and the Gwen doll, who turned into a human again as soon as she could.
"We confirm the arrival to the Second Singularity, how's everything going doc?" - Ritsuka asked Roman.
"No hostiles close to your location, you can rest for the moment" -
"Great! I'll scout the area for any hidden enemies" - Gwen said while preparing her scissors.
"I'll search for a place to set up camp" -
"Senpai, let's go see if we can find food" -
"Alright, I'll follow you Mash" -
Everyone went their separate ways, with Gwen diving deep into a forest and emerging in a path where she saw a group of soldiers advancing, so she decided to ask for their help.
"Excuse me, good afternoon, could you maybe help me?" - she said, only to be met by the spears of the soldiers directly pointed at her.
"Who are you? You're with the United Roman Empire right!?" - one of the soldiers spoke.
"Whoa, who are they? I'm just looking for..." -
Before Gwen could finish speaking, a rain of arrows fell over all of them. The soldiers tried to block it yet only a handful of them remained standing, while Gwen used her Hallowed Mist to block this attack.
"Soldiers from the Empire! You were trying to set a trap for us weren't you?" - one of the wounded soldiers said to Gwen.
"I wasn't-! Ugh, I'll deal with the attackers, stay here and wait!" -
Using her scissors, Gwen launched herself towards the enemy soldiers, dodging their arrows while breaking their weapons with precise blows of her own, being careful as to not kill them. In a matter of a minute, she had all of the soldiers running for their lives while she cleaned dust off her weapon.
"Easy enough, not any different from those dragons back in the last Singularity" - the girl said to herself, yet as she was preparing to return with the rest and explain what had happened, she noticed the sky getting darker.
"The goddess! Yes, I can see the goddess!" - a man's voice spoke from behind her. Turning around, Gwen saw a man covering his face with one of his hands while the moon rose behind him - "Flucticulus Diana!" -
As the light of the moon enveloped Gwen, the girl could feel an immense mental pressure being suddenly applied on her mind, making her fall to the ground while dropping her weapon.
"Die!" - the man yelled as he jumped at her, preparing to strike.
With the last remnants of her strength, Gwen managed to activate her Hallowed Mist, which helped her regain some of her lost power. With that, she rolled out of the way and summoned her weapon back to her hand.
"You must be an enemy Servant, then that means it's my duty to defeat you" -
"Your life... Offer it to me!" -
Without warning, the enemy launched a strike directly at Gwen, who despite blocking it with her weapon, was still launched towards the trees, crashing against one and making it nearly fall on top of her.
"You're a tough one, yet you don't seem able to think... I got it!" - lifting her scissors, Gwen prepared to jump at her enemy.
"Diana... Give me strength!" -
"My friend will give you nothing you mad man! Prepare yourself, here I come!" -
