"What do you think I should do?" Bubbles asked from where she sat curled up on Blossom's bed hugging one of her sister's many pillows.
"Do what you think will make you happy," Blossom said, half distracted, from where she sat at her desk doing homework. Buttercup scoffed from where she sat on the plush white rug in the middle of the otherwise light pink room.
"You kidding? I still don't get why you're even debating this. Not like you really have a choice between the two," she said plucking at the rug.
"Stop that," Blossom offhandedly said. Buttercup stuck her tongue out at her.
"You think? I mean Boomer is single right now. Maybe this time..." Bubbles trailed off with a sigh. Blossom looked up from her homework at this.
"I mean it Bubs, do what you think will make you happy. Don't make your choice here based on others or maybes. Will you be happy if you say yes to Mark?"
"Be real Bloss. Mark'll make her way happier than blue boy ever would even if he was interested in dating her."
Blossom shot a glare at Buttercup that went unnoticed by Bubbles. She shrugged in response with a smirk on her face.
"I guess. Boomer never has shown interest in me has he? Why would he even?" The blonde's shoulder slumped and she buried her head in her pillow. Blossom continued to glare at Buttercup who just continued to smirk.
"Bubbles, you're amazing and any boy would be beyond lucky to date you. The question here is whether dating Mark will make you happy or not. Answer that and you have your answer for Mark," Blossom said. Buttercup snorted at that.
"And how will she know which one makes her happy? I say you give him a shot. What's the worst that could happen?" Bubbles looked at Buttercup as she said this. Buttercup shrugged before continuing. "Hell, maybe this'll make baby blue jeally and he'll finally prove he's interested in you. If he doesn't? Then you have your answer."
Bubbles thought this over as Blossom shot Buttercup another glare which she, this time, ignored.
"I guess that's true. It's worth giving him a shot at least. If we don't click then I can always just break up with him right?" Bubbles asked as she looked between her sisters. Blossom sighed before responding.
"Yes, you can. Are you sure this will make you happy?"
Bubbles shrugged. "I don't know but I'm willing to try to find out. I'll go call him now." She got up and left the room leaving her sisters alone. Blossom turned to glare at Buttercup again who was wearing a suspiciously victorious looking smirk.
"Really? Why would you push her like that?" Blossom asked Buttercup shrugged.
"I'm sick of hearing her pine over blue boy. Figured Mark might help her move on from him."
"And this has nothing to do with the fact that you still don't like the boys."
"Eh, win win situation. I'm not gunna complain when she gets over him," Buttercup said as she got up to leave. Blossom shook her head.
"This is going to blow up in your face and when it does you better hope Bubbles doesn't get caught up in it too."
"You worry too much Bloss. It'll be fine. You'll see."
Blossom sighed, shaking her head, as she went back to her homework. She just knew this was going to turn into a heck of a headache.
What do you think? Two extras in one day? I think yes. Gimme two seconds.
Artemis Raven Courtney! So glad you enjoyed that blues fight. I'll try to give them more attention going forward. I hadn't realized I'd neglected their fight scenes. So sorry about that! Hope you enjoyed this little piece.
Trase! Scary was the goal for I'm glad you got that. Bubbles is very much temper tantrum anger. Boomer is very much calculated temper. The supers usually would rather have a pissed Bubbles than a pissed Boomer, and for good reason. He always hits where it hurts when he's angry.
