Moment Seven: Hawks II

Bored.

Kagome Takami was bored out of her mind, being stuck at home on bed rest was not sitting well with her. At all. All she wanted to do was be out there making her rounds with her husband but noooooo~ here she was stuck at home.

It wouldn't be so bad if she could at least pick up the house or do something besides just sit in bed or on the couch. Yet Keigo had laid down the law that she was not allowed to do anything but sit around. Snorting at the thought she grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.

"Stupid jerk, I'm pregant not crippled..." She gripped under her breath, she knew he meant well but jeez this was going overboard. He was such a worry wart, she was surprised Fyumi or one of the other Todoroki clan wasn't stationed on 'Kagome watch'.

Blinking she watched as the show she turned on turned out to be a live stream, one in which her husband had just entered the frame. The blonde reporter perked up, her green eyes glittering as she looked her husband up and down.

The obvious man was busy talking to a grumpy looking Endeavor. "Here we have the number one and number two heroes! Can you spare a few moments?" Endeavor just ignored her, his gaze on the street. Her husband however gave a light laugh as he nodded ever eager to be in front of a camera.

"Of course! Anything for a fan." His smile was borderline cheesy and it made her twitch as the female reporter seemed to preen. Sensing their mother's foul mood the twins in her belly began to move slightly making her wince as she tried to adjust her position on the couch.

She watched with annoyance as the reporter flirted and giggled with her husband who was either completely oblivious to it or just ignoring it. Either way it pissed her off, now that she was on a 'leave of absence' all the damn fan girls were clamoring over themselves to get closer to him. It really made her regret keeping their private life private. She understood why they had to, they were both pro heroes, he was number two and she herself was number six in the ranks. Plus he was acting as a double agent, to be open about their marriage and the fact that they were expecting twins would be dangerous.

Even so she was getting real tired of these damn fan girls... with a dark smirk she picked up her phone and quickly began typing a text. Deed done she sat back to watch the drama unfold on live TV.

Endeavor blinked as he felt his phone buzz, grumbling he pulled it out to check it, not even caring that he was still in frame. Fan service wasn't his thing, it was Hawks', and the other man could deal with all of it.

Quickly reading over the text he let out a low huff, why was Kagome bugging him instead of her husband? Snapping his phone shut he turned to Hawks, ignoring those around them as he decided to be nice and relay the message.

"Your wife is craving chicken, says the twins won't stop fussing until she gets it." His voice was bland, as if telling him the weather and not ever so subtly letting the whole world know that Hawks was not only off the market but also an expecting father.

Hawk's blinked, straightening up at his words all his mind had processed was wife, twins, and chicken. Nodding his head with a mission in mind he flapped his wings as he began to float, already making up an order for KFC in his head that would be enough to feed his wife, their children and himself.

"Ah, sorry I have to go! But I'm sure Endeavor can answer any questions you guys have!" Tossing the older man a smirk he took off.

Endeavor could only glare after the man as the female reporter and all the other fans nearby rounded on him with questions. Stupid over grown chicken...he'd get him back for this!
