Moment Eighteen: Sang-wook (Sweet Home)
AN: Spoilers ahead, if you haven't finished the series I suggest waiting to read this until you have. If you haven't heard of it I greatly recommend it and humbly point you in the direction of Netflix.
Rough calloused fingers palmed the plump mounds of smooth flesh of the young woman in his arms. She moaned low, her breath tickling his ear as she pressed open mouthed kisses from the area under his ear back down his neck to the tip of his collar bone. She shifted in his lap to grind her searing heat into his already throbbing hard manhood almost as if she enjoyed the way it made his body tense up with need.
Little minx.
He could only let out a low groan as she kissed her way from the juncture of his neck up his chin and then captured his lips in a hot searing kiss. Her tongue was poking at the seam of his lips, knocking, demanding, to be let in. He refused to open his lips to her probing tongue smirking as she let out a low groan and pulled back far enough to glare, more like pout, up at him.
Her normally bright blue eyes were darkened with want, desire, and something much more primal and dangerous.
Sang-wook could only glare down at her, trying his best to ignore the flirty smile she sent right back at him.
How, how in the fuck had he ended up in this situation?
He had been through a lot in his life, from the death of his father to the killing of the one responsible. He drifted from place to place, never really putting down roots since no matter how much he tried to leave it behind his reputation always followed him.
He was a man who lived in the grey, shifting and adapting to his surroundings as the situation called for it. What some thought as bad or evil he at times saw as a means to an end. He had seen the very deepest and darkest pits of humanity and he was not above responding to evil with an even greater evil.
So why the fuck was this young woman always going out of her way to make him question his resolve to never get attached to any place or anyone? Ever since she had moved into the slum apartments known as Green Home estates it was like she had zeroed in on him. He had tried to scare her away like he did everyone else, yet she had merely given a small knowing smirk and refused to let him be.
It set him on edge and he began to go out of his way to avoid her, as well as everyone else in the apartments, the rumors swirling about him and now her were enough to put a dirty taste in his mouth, after all he was here on a job. He had failed to find the child of the man who had literally begged him for his help, up until the very day they found her small broken body dumped in the pier like a bag of trash.
By refusing to take on the job and instead trying to scare the man off he had wasted all that time, time that could and should have been used to track her down before she had met her grizzly end. The poor man had been so wrought with guilt and sadness that he had taken his own life, not able to cope or bear with the thought of his only daughter being ripped from him in such a brutal manner.
Two more.
Two more innocent people's blood stained his hands.
Even so he was not about to give up, even if his client was gone he would at the very least find the one responsible for taking away the other man's will to live by snuffing out the bright light of the young child he had failed.
So why the hell was he sitting here on the rooftop humoring the young Higurashi Kagome of room 1408? He had come up here to get away from everyone, to have a smoke and plot out his next course of action, he knew the bastard responsible for snuffing out that bright light lived somewhere here in his own damn building.
To think he shared his apartment complex with such a monster...well the fucker was about to meet an even bigger and much more dangerous one. Mood now foul, any and all desire stirred to life by the young woman in his lap died as he glared at her and roughly shoved her off his lap to stand. She landed at his feet in a tangle of limbs and long unruly black hair.
Bright blue eyes gazed up at him and he was surprised to not see anger or fear at his rough treatment of her person but a twinkle of amusement and something else. Sighing through his nose he threw his half smoked cigarette down on the ground next to her and snuffed it out with his dress shoe clad foot. "Don't you have better things to do then sexually harass your neighbors?" His voice was low, even toned but gruff from years of smoking cigarettes.
She merely shrugged her shoulders as she pulled herself to her feet, dusting off her rather plump behind, she barely reached his upper chest yet the way she carried herself more than made up for it. She was confident, almost cocky, as she gazed up at him with a small smirk, her slightly sharper than normal canine poking out over her plump lip.
Lips that had been doing sinfully delicious things to him not even mere moments ago.
Shoving the memory down he instead dug down inside and grasped his anger pulling it forward. It wrapped around him like a blanket and it's comforting weight put him at ease as she clasped her hands behind her back making her breasts push outwards and strain against the black long sleeve shirt she wore under her dark blue jumper.
Hard to believe she worked in the daycare downstairs. The head of the day care was a prude, a better then though smug woman, why she hired the middle school dropout was beyond him. Hell, he was surprised she even talked to the Japanese immigrant let alone allowed her to work in her precious daycare. Like most countries there was a general distrust of those that were different from them. Let alone born in a completely different country, he himself did not care. He worked construction when not on odd jobs and had worked with people from all walks of life and from all places.
Kagome Higurashi could only smile up at the man who had captivated her since she had first laid eyes on him. There was something about him, something dark and dangerous that called to her on a primal level. After her feudal fairy tale had come crashing down she was left feeling empty and hollow.
A stranger in her own home and life.
Sure her family tried their best to help her, to love her and to fix her.
Thing was, she wasn't broken.
No she had never felt more like herself then she did after her eyes were opened to the real world. No longer was her world in shades of black and white but opened to all the colors in between and then some.
So when she had decided to move to Korea, a place she had only visited a few times before the untimely death of her father, she had hoped to find her next grand adventure. Only to have doors slammed in her face one after another.
No one wanted to hire an immigrant middle school drop out. Even so she had buckled down and kept plowing forward, she knew no one but herself could carve her path forward. She was responsible for her own future, not some five hundred year old prophecy or sentient jewel, but her. So she had been over the moon when she finally found a place to live, though it was crummy and in a 'bad' part of town she was happy to have a home again.
One of her own choosing.
She later found employment working in the day care of the building after saving the owner's daughter from a group of thugs. Cha Jin-Ok, while coming off as a prissy cold hearted bitch was at her core still a mother and since she had saved her only child the older woman felt obligated to offer her employment. While not fond of the circumstances of her new job she wasn't stupid enough to turn down such an opportunity.
Rocking on her heels she grinned up at Sang-wook, her cheeks flushing a bit as his dark brown eyes glared down at her. Had she been anyone else she would have run and hid from such a dark glowering look being directed at her.
Instead it pulled her in more, called to her like a siren. She knew that under his many layers of gruffness there was a damaged heart of gold. She could see it as plain as day. Were he truly as mean and vile as he tried to project outwards to others there was no way his aura would burn so brightly.
He, like her, had seen the darkest parts of humanity and while it had tempered him and scared him just as it did her it was clear to her that he did not and would not break. The man was far too stubborn and it excited her. She now knew the thrill Koga must have gotten every time he went out of his way to track her down and pursue her. She mused she was just lucky Koga hadn't been nearly as forceful with the unwanted touching as she was of Sang-wook.
Normally she wouldn't be so forward, or obsessed, with someone but his very soul cried out to hers in a way she had never felt. Not even with Inu Yasha and they were supposed to be the 'lovers that crossed time and space'. Pft, that was a load of crock, once the jewel was complete he had fulfilled his promise to Kikyo and gone skipping off to hell with her without so much as a glance backwards.
Four years, four fucking years of her life wasted longing for a love that would never bear fruit since it wasn't her garden that the tree was rooted in.
Sang-wook could only watch as her smile melted off her face, replaced by something cynical and sad. Her eyes lost their shine and seemed to dull with each passing second, the sudden and dramatic shift in her put a vile taste in his mouth, and he had some very vile things shoved into it at times in his past, he was surprised to see just how much he did not like this look on her.
Fishing his pack of cigarettes out of the breast pocket of his shirt he popped one into his mouth and held the open box out in front of her, practically shoving it in her face. "Want one?" He smirked around the cancer stick in his mouth as she blinked and refocused on him, her face scrunching up in disgust as she playfully smacked his hand out of her face.
"No thanks. You know those are bad for you right?" He merely arched an eyebrow at her as he returned the pack into his shirt pocket and grabbed his lighter from his blazer pocket to flick it to life.
"Yeah, and? What ya gonna do about it?" His voice was a low growl, a challenge that to anyone but her would have sounded threatening. She merely gave a small laugh, its sound echoing around them like the faint tinkling of a bell.
"Mmm, I don't know." She stalked forward, her small body moving with precise movements as he continued to gaze down at her, as if daring her to do something. Before he knew what was happening she had hopped up, her arms wrapping around his neck to pull him down to her height, the cigarette slipped from his parted lips only to fall to the ground forgotten as she captured his lips with hers. Her hot wet tongue jamming itself in between his parted lips.
The small pink muscle explored and plundered his mouth, if she disliked the taste of cigarettes in his mouth she was doing a damn good job of not showing it. Instinct took over, his hands reaching down to grasp under her thighs and lift her up, her legs wrapped around his waist as his once again settled on her finely toned ass holding her in place. Her jumper rising up to expose a very indecent amount of pale skin.
He groaned into her forced kiss, deciding that just this once he would do more than humor her, he would show her the beast that she was slowly starting to wake up. His tongue easily overpowered hers, forcing hers to retreat back into its moist wet cavern. His was there tasting and savoring the sweet taste of her mouth, he knew that if her mouth tasted this sweet that should he ever fully give into his desires there was no way he would be able to quit her.
Even so he deepened the kiss, forcing her head to angle back so he could taste more of her, his hands sliding up higher under her jumper. He jerked as his hands met lace, while he couldn't see what color her panties were he knew, just fucking knew, they were red. Breaking the kiss he rested his forehead on hers, their breathing ragged as it mingled between them.
He couldn't help the swell of male pride that surged through him as she gazed up at him like a dazed school girl. Her cheeks tinted red as her lips swelled from the force of his kiss. Giving a cocky smirk he squeezed the globes of flesh in his hands loving the small mewl of appraisal that fell from her lips.
"Wow." Her voice was breathless as she gazed up into his eyes, they held mirth as well as the dark tint of desire. She had never been kissed like that, not once in her twenty three years of life and she knew right then and there that he had ruined her for anyone and everyone else and honestly she wasn't too broken up about that idea.
He gave a dark chuckle as he shifted, letting her slide down his body, her soft curved one dragging over the hard planes of his body in a very sinfully if not torturous way as he set her back on her own two feet. "Don't you have a job to get to?" His voice was a bit warmer, more playful this time and it made her smile that small crooked smirk of hers that he was starting to love.
"I think I might be going down with something...I should probably call off." The innuendo in her voice was hard to miss and it made him snort as he bent down to pick up the discarded cigarette and place it between his lips once more. Already it was making her taste fade and it left him wondering maybe he should give up the filthy habit. He plucked the half smoked carton of smokes out of his pocket and chucked them on the ground where he had been standing not even moments before.
"Hm, well I guess we should get you back to bed. Wouldn't want you to spread your germs around..." His eyes held promise as she nodded her head and moved to his side, leaning her body into his as if she really was feeling ill. "Guess so..." The two made their way towards the door that led back into the building none the wiser of the expelled high schooler who had been watching the whole exchange from a well hidden area, her own pack of smokes in her small hands.
"About damn time." Her words were mumbled as she shimmed out from her hiding spot and picked up Sang- wook's discarded smokes. While they weren't the brand she usually smoked she would gladly take them since it seemed the elder yakuza man wouldn't be needing them anytime soon.
She took a deep drag from the one in her mouth and let it out with a small devious grin, wondering just how fast the news of the new couple would spread? At least now she would have some entertainment...plus to see her brother's face fall when he realized his crush was finally off the market tickled her pink.
This was almost more exciting then the fact that they would be gaining a new tenant in the next few days.
