(In regards to the previous chapter: I have nothing against voluntarily single people, or just single people in general. That was just a piece of fiction meant to advance the story)

(Below this are my replies:)

(to pauljoser: I am very grateful for your kind words! While I doubt I'm as good as Fuze-sensei, I thank you very much for the comparison!)

(to Omnipotente Vargas: I've thought up something for the three demon babes. But don't expect much and don't expect it to be any time soon)

(to IPlayZed (Guest) : Thank you very much for the compliment! I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm skilled enough to take commissions just yet. Nor do I think I'll be consistent with it. But I really appreciate your offer!)

"Mom!" shouted the twins as they ran towards her.

"What happened to you!?" asked Victoria as she checked on her children's injuries.

The kids quickly told her what happened. Just hearing it had put tears in her eyes. She hugged them and kissed them consolingly before she carried her kids to their room and tucked them to sleep. Victoria then went straight for her brother and faced him, her heart was as hot as molten metal.

She started, "Voltaire…"

"You don't need to say anything," Volgoa said as he cracked his neck and fingers.

If his sister was burning embers inside, then he was the frost that bit outside. To those that dared harm his family, he would bear his fangs.

He ended as he walked out of the door, "None of them shall live to see the sun rise."

...

Rimuru was sitting on the roof of the inn they were staying at, looking at the countless shiny dots that filled the night sky. His eyes reflected many thoughts and memories.

"A mom, huh," whispered the ancient demon to himself.

His lips stretched wide just thinking about it. If Veldora were here, or even worse Benimaru… They'd be dying of laughter right now. He couldn't help but click his tongue at the thought of his red haired friend. After the ban of procreation had been lifted, the man not only gained more offsprings, but also more wives. He became known as the Harem Emperor across multiple universes. To top off the ridiculousness of that title, the red haired fire god was able to give the Harem Emperor's Blessing towards his own subordinates and family line. Out of all conquerors, he was currently the one with the most universes, at least that was what he heard before he went hibernating. Managing more universes didn't mean you were strong, rather, it shows your skills in management. It was a pain in the ass, though. There was a reason why most Demon Lords and his other subordinates each only managed only one universe. Some universes even had multiple managers inside one.

Rimuru shook his head. No, now wasn't the time to be thinking of those things. His boy had called him mom. It seemed even a Demon Lord would be surprised if their student called them that.

It was no secret that he loved Ciel. Rather, he'd proclaimed that to everyone after getting sick of so many advances. What nobody else knew, however, was that he also wanted a child. The two things he wanted the most in life was to settle down with his beloved Manas and start a family with her. But, because of her rejection, he knew that it would never happen. He had thought of adopting a child, but decided otherwise because he was too busy managing everything at the time. He guessed that it was only a matter of time he adopted one after his unofficial retirement. The old slime just didn't think it would come so soon.

He didn't mind being called a mother instead of a father. He'd stopped caring about genders a long time ago. He no longer classified himself as any gender; he only used male pronouns because it was more convenient, and that a great number of his subordinates and friends called him with male pronouns. He was completely fine with his son calling him mom.

Son. The word still seemed foreign to him, even when he'd been thinking about it for ages. But, could foreign words bring him so much happiness? If it were him a few hours ago, then he would've spent time thinking about it. But now? It was an absolute yes. What he was feeling right now was equal to the feeling he had when he saw the bodies of his deceased family rise up to greet him once more. It was cathartic.

{Master. The target is in position.}

"Alright," answered Rimuru as he stood up.

He dusted off his yukata's behind and started flying up. He reached his destination almost immediately.

...

Voltaire went straight back towards the scum that had hurt his nephew. They were still groaning, though some of the less injured ones were already sitting up or standing. The sharper ones started noticing him come closer. Not that he needed to hide his presence from them.

"Hey, man. Think you could help us?" asked the thug.

Towards that, he only said, "Golgota."

Suddenly, two bodies shot out of his own to both his sides. One was colored fully in white, with wings as pure as snow. The other had the color red with black trim, with leathery wings as black as the night. The angelic one wielded a golden scythe, while the demonic one held a long, dark wooden stake.

Both flew quickly to the men whose eyes were widened in fear. Not even a minute later the bodies were nothing more than gore and cadaver. Both angel and demon had returned to his side. He looked at the corpses and hmphed. As he was about to leave, he heard clapping from behind. Instantly alert, he sent both towards the target as he jumped away. He looked back to see a blue haired woman with golden eyes, wearing an exotic black dress with golden flower patterns littered on it.

He instantly realized who she was. It was the heroine he'd been following! Both his angels and demons flew to her, weapons forward. Though, as she waved her hand, both of them recoiled quickly back into him, sending him even further backwards to near the bodies. What…?

"Interesting. A descendant of a demon AND an angel?" said the woman out loud to herself.

Voltaire was tense. This woman was strong. Unbelievably strong. As of right now, he'd been trying to recall both his angel and demon halves back through his [Golgota] but was met with silence.

The woman continued, "Easy, now. If I wanted you dead, then you would no longer have been standing the moment you picked up my ring."

He felt cold sweats drench his back. She'd known about him since the very beginning. There was no way he could get out of this alive. He knew that even if he fought back she wouldn't have any trouble against him. If he ran back to his sister, then he would just be putting her and her children in danger.

His sister was right. If one lived by the blade, then they would fall with it. Voltaire Goa closed his eyes as he resigned to his fate.

"Relax. I'm not going to kill you. I'm just going to ask for some questions. If you answer truthfully, then I will leave you and your family be," said the woman as he opened his eyes to look at her.

She continued, "In truth, I let you follow me in hopes to turn you into a challenge for my son to handle."

She then smiled as she said, "...but, something great had just come up. Because of that, I'm willing to pardon you for your transgressions."

She ended with, "Add to that, a cold-hearted murderer wouldn't have been so worried for young children and vengeful against anyone who endangered them."

Voltaire didn't know how that woman knew so much about him. His best bet, not only for himself but also for his sister's family, was to comply with her every whim. He bowed as he surrendered himself.

He begged, "Please, leave them alone. I will answer your questions truthfully."

"Hmm. That's what I like to hear," said the heroine.

(to EVERYONE: You guys have been really supportive of this story! I'll be honest here. Originally, this story was written for me alone. The reason I wrote this was because I didn't see enough EoS Rimuru stories. I think I've probably read most, and while I liked them, none of them were long enough for my taste. I wasn't originally planning to post this on FF, heck, I almost deleted the story out of embarrassment. But, after gaining some confidence by GM-ing strangers and getting a hand at making stories, I decided on posting it, if not for other people, then for myself.

The result was tremendously positive! I think not even five minutes and there was already a follow, like and a review! It made me feel both grateful and relieved! With that, I immediately went for the second chapter, which also got positive responses! Skip to a couple more chapters and my reviewers are genuinely trying to help me increase my writing skills! I'm very, very grateful for that!

I thought I could improve my writing skills in this type of environment, so I decided I would take their words to heart. While I'm not sure if I'll ever even finish this, let me tell you that this story wouldn't even have gone past chapter one if it weren't for all your support! Thank you very much!)

(Sorry for the long response! Thanks for reading up until now! Leave a review if you want to!)
