PokemonFreak90: No kidding! I've been anxious to get this chapter finished, given how much I enjoy this episode! Please keep in mind that we changed some events that happen in this episode, so it will not play out exactly the same.

MDM: Well, let's now get started with Chapter 11! Roll it!

Chapter 11

Act Like a Mime

Another day, another Akuma defeated. Artemis was running across the rooftops to find a safe place to change back. She would've stayed a little longer if her partner had used Heal Flame on her pendant. But he was distracted by a certain orange-haired reporter that happened to be there, talking to Ladybug. So she decided against reminding him that she was down to two minutes and instead made a break for it. Plus, she had been wanting to meet up with Marinette over at the bakery and say hello.

Once she landed in a secluded alleyway, she heard her pendant chirp out its last warning before a wave of silver ice crawled up her body to reveal Bianca. She quickly caught an exhausted Claaw in her hands and placed her Kwami in her bag, where there were a few mini sticks of beef jerky for him to munch on. She had just exited the alley when she almost got run over by an excited Alya.

"Whoa!" She exclaimed, jumping out of the way before the Ladyblogger could crash into her. "Where's the fire, girl?"

Alya managed to put on the brakes and then turned around to face the auburn-haired Canadian girl. "Sorry, Bianca!" She quickly apologized, before starting to run again, and Bianca had to run to catch up to her. "But the most amazing thing happened to me just minutes ago! I have it all on video and I just have to show this to Marinette!"

Bianca just giggled at Alya's enthusiasm, curious as to why she was so excited. It might have something to do with Ladybug, since she was filming her earlier. Soon, both of them were racing into the bakery and up towards Marinette's room.

Her mother, Sabine, called up to her daughter, "Marinette! Alya and Bianca are here!"

"Don't worry, Ms. Dupain-Cheng, we'll just head up." Alya assured her, and hurried up towards Marinette's balcony, Bianca following her.

Finding Marinette, Alya cried, "Girl, you will not believe what just happened to me! So Ladybug had just saved a bunch of workers from a supervillain. There were, like, a gazillion reporters waiting to interview her and...that's when it happened!"

Alya showed the two girls her phone and Marinette played the video. The video was showing Ladybug rescuing a child. A few reporters crowded around her when she landed on the ground with the kid, asking her questions as she let the child go. But she ignored them and greeted Alya when she saw her, who was filming the video.

"Hey! Aren't you Alya, the girl who writes the blog about me?" She asked her, pushing past the other reporters. "The...Ladyblog!"

"Uh...yeah!" A starstruck Alya answered.

"I like your work." Ladybug said to her with a kind smile. "It's awesome. Keep it up!"

Just then, her Miraculous let out a warning beep. "Your earrings, Ladybug!" Alya pointed out, pointing to it.

Ladybug quickly covered it, realizing that she was on a time limit. "Ah! Thanks. Better get going." She said. "Bug out!" With that, she took out her yo-yo and swung away.

Marinette blinked in amazement while Bianca did her best to keep herself from giggling. "Uh...that was super…"

"Cool, right?" Alya asked, cutting her best friend off. "Ladybug knows me! My blog! She thinks it's awesome! Awesome! Awesoooome!"

"Yeah, that's...awesome!" Marinette agreed, while Bianca started to laugh excitedly, understanding Alya's cheeriness.

"And that's not all that happened!" Alya continued, swiping her finger across the screen to show another video. This one was of Blaze. She then pressed play.

Blaze turned over to her with a charming smile. "She's not wrong." The phoenix-themed superhero said, taking a couple of steps closer to her. "Your work on that blog of yours is pretty amazing."

"R-Really?" Alya asked him.

"Yep." Blaze confirmed, his smile turning a little wider. "You've got some real talent and guts as a reporter, trying to keep up on the latest with me and the rest of the superhero team. I think you'll become one of the best reporters in France someday." He then winked at her.

"Well, I gotta fly now." He said. "Keep up the great work!" Then, he took off into the sky with his fiery wings.

Bianca did her best to hide a smirk. So that was why her partner wanted to stay longer.

Oh, you've got it so bad, Allen. She thought, while lightly shaking her head in amusement.

"Now that's something." She said. "Praises about your work from your two favorite superheroes? That must've made your day."

"It did!" Alya squealed as she handed Marinette her phone. "Lemme go grab my laptop!" She then headed down into Marinette's room.

"I don't think I've ever seen her this happy before." Bianca said to the blunette.

"Me neither." Marinette agreed.

Just then, Bianca saw that Marinette had frozen in fear, like she had seen something behind her. "Hey, is everything okay?" She asked, about to turn around and see what it was.

But Marinette suddenly grabbed her upper arms and spun her back around to face her. "No, everything's fine!" She quickly answered with a nervous giggle, making Bianca raise a brow in confusion.

However, Marinette's action made her almost drop the phone, but she quickly caught it. Both girls sighed in relief.

But then, they saw that Marinette's finger had accidentally pressed the delete button and the video of Ladybug was now gone forever! Both girls froze with fear, and then Marinette fell down on her knees.

"I didn't just do that! Tell me I didn't just do that!" She pleaded, looking up at a nervous Bianca.

"You didn't just do that." Bianca said, slightly shrugging her shoulders. But that only made Marinette start to go into another one of her panicked frenzies. "Okay, you DID just do that. But at least you didn't drop it or delete Blaze's video." Bianca quickly added, trying to calm her down.

"Oh, I've really screwed up this time!" Marinette exclaimed, getting back up on her feet. "Alya's gonna KILL ME!"

Bianca quickly grabbed Marinette's upper arms and said, "Okay, look at me, Marinette. All eyes on me. Just take a few deep breaths. Slowly. In and out."

Marinette began to follow her instructions, taking in deep breaths, and then slowly exhaling, not removing her gaze from hers. Soon, she was calm enough. "Okay." Bianca said, letting go of Marinette's arms. "It's not the end of the world. I'm sure that Alya will understand. She is your best friend, after all."

Then Marinette's eyes started to grow wide again as she started thinking again of all the possible worst-case scenarios. But before she could start rambling like crazy about it, Bianca stopped her.

"Okay, relax and listen. Everyone knows that you're infamously clumsy, and Alya's smart. She might've thought ahead and posted the video before she showed it to us." She tried to reassure her. "If you can tell her the truth about it, then I'm pretty sure that Alya will forgive you. If not, then you can give her some time to cool down. If she's still upset about it later, then she's not a real friend if she can't move past a simple mistake."

"But what if you're wrong, Bianca?" Marinette asked her worriedly, looking down at the floor. "Alya is Ladybug's biggest fan and that video was one-of-a-kind and can't be replaced! I can't take the risk and tell her."

"You know Alya. And she knows you. If you tell her that it was an accident, she'll understand, even if that video was special." Bianca answered her with sincerity. "And like I said, if she doesn't, then she's not a true friend. True friends still care, even if you make a mistake."

She paused to look over at the trapdoor, and then looked back at Marinette. "Plus, even if you are Ladybug's secret accomplice, it's not like you can contact her and ask her to help you remake it." She whispered, keeping her voice down. "I just don't think it's worth hiding from Alya, because it's not fair to you, it's not fair to Ladybug, and it's definitely not fair to Alya. In my opinion, being a real hero doesn't always mean that you fix problems, but you also admit when you've made a mistake. You don't always need a costume to try and do the right thing, no matter how small the problem might be."

Marinette was silent for a little while as she looked back up at the auburn-haired Canadian girl, and then opened her mouth to answer back. But before she could, Alya called down from inside her room.

"Marinette! Bianca! Come down! We've got visitors!"

Both girls quickly came down and they saw Sabine, Mylene, and a tall man there. Bianca faintly remembered him from Parents Career Day a couple of weeks earlier. He was Mylene's dad, Fred.

"What did you say the name of the play is, Mr. Haprèle?" Sabine asked him.

"Well, it's…" Fred started to say, but his excited daughter cut him off.

"It's called, 'The Mime's Extraordinary Adventures', starring the most talented, amazingly awesome actor and mime!" She exclaimed.

Fred smiled bashfully at his daughter's praising words. "Come on, now." He said.

"My father!" Mylene continued. "Give it up for Fred Haprèle!"

The other women in the room started to applaud with proud and excited smiles on their faces as Fred playfully took a bow. "Thank you very much!" He said, before turning over to his daughter. "Thank you, Mylene."

"Well, congratulations. You must make your daughter very proud!" Sabine said to him.

Fred just smiled at her. "Now all I need is my hat to complete my costume."

Marinette went over to her desk and picked up a simple black bowler hat. "Here it is!" She said, giving it to him.

"Thank you, Marinette!" Fred said gratefully. "Saving me at the last minute."

Fred then started to mime that the hat was inside a box. He then opened the invisible box and placed the hat on his head while Marinette held the box.

"I don't think Mylene was exaggerating at all!" Sabine said, sounding impressed.

"Why, thank you!" Fred thanked her.

"I fixed the tear in it." Marinette came in, showing him the work she did. "I also sewed the pocket on the inside, just like you asked."

"You've done a perfect job." Fred said to her. "Thanks to you, I'll have my good luck charm right here next to me at all times." He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a little photograph of Mylene. "A photo of my beloved daughter."

"Aw, Dad…" Mylene cooed as she came over to hug her father.

Just then, his phone started ringing. Fred let go of Mylene to answer it.

"Hello, Sarah-" He started to say, but she cut him off.

"Fred, where are you?" She asked him.

"I had to pick up my hat!" Fred quickly answered her because of her sharp tone.

"I need you here now!" The woman barked at him.

"It's not an excuse!" Fred assured her. "I know that the bus is leaving in less than a half hour, I'll be there!" Then, he hung up and turned around.

"That was Sarah, the play's director." He explained. "She's very nervous about the premiere. She's ready to blow a fuse! So I'd better get going." He then started heading downstairs. "See you tonight at the Eiffel Tower, girls!"

"We can't wait!" Alya exclaimed.

"Love you, Dad!" Mylene called after her dad.

Minutes later, the girls had finished a nice lunch together and were beginning to leave the bakery. "Thanks, Marinette." Mylene thanked the French-Chinese girl. "I gotta go. I wanna swing by my house to change before the show."

Just then, Alya's phone started ringing. "Hey, that's my ringtone!" She exclaimed.

Marinette picked it up and Alya quickly grabbed it to see who was calling her. But Marinette wouldn't let go of the phone until the ringing ended. Alya checked to see who had called her.

"That was my mom. I'll call her back later." She said.

"Hey, Mylene!" She called out to the smaller girl. "You wanna see the most amazerrific video?"

Marinette's eyes widened as wide as saucers. "No!" She cried out, making everyone look at her strangely. "Uh...I mean...you wouldn't want to be late for her dad's premiere, would you?" She quickly but nervously amended.

"Yeah, Marinette's right." Mylene agreed, although she didn't get the reason why. "I gotta get going."

"Okay. I'll walk out with you and show it to you on the way." Alya said, getting up out of her seat and grabbing her bag.

Marinette was about to open her mouth, her hand outstretched to grab Alya's bag, but she caught Bianca's eye. The auburn-haired girl slightly shook her head at her, silently advising her not to steal Alya's phone. Marinette lightly bit her lip, and then retracted her hand.

"Um, Alya?" She said, stopping her. "Actually, can you not show her it yet? There's something that I need to tell you."

Alya was a little confused, but then nodded her head. "Okay." She said, and then she continued to show Mylene to the door. After a few minutes, she came back. "What's up?"

Marinette took a deep breath, and then started talking really fast. But Alya was her best friend, so she managed to understand what she had said, but it took Bianca a couple of extra seconds.

"I...accidentally erased your Ladybug video on your phone and I'm sorry! So, so, SO sorry! I know how much that video meant to you and I'm the lamest of friends! Lamer than lame!"

But then, Alya just started laughing. "Chillax, girl." She assured her best friend. "If there's anyone on this Earth who knows about your legendary clumsiness, it's me, your BFF!"

"So...you're not angry?" Marinette asked.

"Well, you should've just come clean and told me in the first place. But no, we're cool." Alya replied. "Besides, I uploaded the video to my Ladyblog before I showed it to you."

Marinette had never looked so relieved at that moment as she ran over to her best friend to give her a giant hug. "I'm so lucky to have a friend like you!" She exclaimed happily as Bianca looked at the two of them with a little smile, proud that Marinette had taken her advice.

"So, I'll catch you two at the show?" Alya asked, looking at Marinette and Bianca, the latter shaking her head politely.

"I'll take a pass this time." Bianca said.

"Okay." Alya answered, nodding her head in understanding. "I'll see you later, Mari!" She said to her best friend.

Once she left, Marinette turned to the Canadian girl, saying, "Thank you so much for the advice! But I still feel a little bad that my clumsiness cost Alya that video. Maybe I can do something to make it up to her. But what?"

Bianca shrugged. "How about we go for a juice and hang out over at the Louvre?" She suggested. "We can see if we can come up with some ideas."

Marinette smiled. "Sure!" She chirped happily.

About twenty minutes later, the two girls were at the Louvre, Marinette having an orange juice and Bianca having an apple juice. They were talking about possible ideas on how Marinette could make up her mistake to Alya, but none of them seemed like very good ones.

Suddenly, there was the sound of a car crashing and sirens blaring. Immediately, the girls looked over in its direction and saw that a police car had somehow gotten upturned onto its side. But what scared them the most was the sight of the culprit: an Akuma.

This one had a stone cold silence about him. His skin was purple with darker violet points under his eyes and he wore a vest of matching colors with cream pants. On his head was a familiar bowler hat, making it clear of this Akuma's identity. It was Fred, Mylene's father.

"Oh, this is bad." Bianca muttered under her breath, wondering what might've happened that made him get so angry and vulnerable enough to get akumatized.

"We'd better split up and get out of here!" Marinette explained as the two girls started running to throw their cups in the trash.

"Yeah, good idea!" Bianca quickly agreed with her strange suggestion, eager to find a place to transform. The girls then split off in opposite directions and Bianca quickly ducked into a nearby alleyway. Claaw zipped out of her bag as she grabbed her phone.

"You know, there's a reason why I hate mimes." The little Kwami said as Bianca began to text Allen about the situation. "They're way too quiet for my taste. As wolves, we have a strange sense of satisfaction when we chase our prey and hear them cry for mercy."

Bianca managed to send the message to her best friend once she was done: Akuma at the Louvre! Get here fast!

"You and your so-called wolf antics." The Canadian girl said with a roll of her eyes, knowing that he probably wasn't a real wolf once upon a time. "But let's see if we can get this mime to start talking! Claaw, Let's Prowl!"

With a flash of silver ice, Bianca became Artemis. She jumped out of the alley and onto the roof to make her entrance. When she landed back on the ground in the plaza, she saw that Ladybug was already there, staring at an open window of the car next to her. Using her enhanced wolf-vision, she saw a familiar peek of blonde hair and green eyes in said window.

Adrien? What was Ladybug doing, just staring at him like that, her mouth slightly dropped? And Adrien himself…seemed to be reciprocating her action. Both of them looked almost…mesmerized at the sight of each other. Well, from Adrien's point of view, it made sense, since he was secretly Cat Noir. But Ladybug? She disliked Cat Noir's flirts, but was rendered silent at the sight of plain Adrien Agreste?

Oh, great. Artemis thought to herself bitterly with a roll of her eyes. Ladybug must be one of his many fangirls in her civilian form. Maybe even one of those ditzy girls who only see the super-hot teen model of perfection and not the funny, actually kind of charming dork he really is as Cat Noir. The Kwamis did say that the mask is like a person's own passage to being who they really want to be.

Maybe she could talk to Allen about this, and maybe they could figure out ways to subtly help Adrien become who he is. The masks gave them confidence, but it was their choice if they wanted to keep it separate or let it become a part of them.

Artemis was snapped out of her musings when she saw the Akuma, the Mime (she took a wild guess that that was what Hawk Moth had dubbed him), shooting invisible arrows at them. "Ladybug, heads up!" She called out to her fellow superhero.

Immediately, the ladybug-themed hero started repelling the invisible arrows while Adrien and the other people that were in the car with him made a break for it. Both girls managed to dodge all of the arrows that the Mime fired at them. Artemis returned the favor by firing her own ice arrows at him, but he managed to evade them as well.

Soon, Ladybug threw her yo-yo at him and she actually managed to break the invisible bow. But then, the Mime opened up an invisible box and then took out an invisible bazooka, judging from how he was holding it. He fired the weapon, but both girls dodged it, blowing up a car in the process.

Then, the Mime mimicked two whips and quickly wrapped them around both Ladybug and Artemis, restraining them. His painted face then had the infamous neon butterfly mask appearing as Hawk Moth commanded him to get their Miraculouses, particularly Ladybug's. Once the purple mask vanished, the Mime started to pull the girls closer, both girls struggling to free themselves.

But before he could take Ladybug's earrings, a familiar silver staff jabbed into his stomach, launching him away from her. "Keep those hands to yourself, clown!" Cat Noir shouted at him as he retracted his staff.

Then, Blaze made his appearance, swooping in from the air, and then he easily cut through the invisible cords that were wrapped around his teammates. Then, he landed beside Artemis.

"You okay?" He asked her.

"I'm fine." Artemis assured him. "Thanks."

Then Cat Noir came up next to Ladybug. "It's okay, I've got this." He said to the ladybug-themed superhero.

Ladybug just smiled. "My pleasure, Cat Noir." She said to her partner as he went to attack the supervillain.

But right as he was about to swing at him with his staff, the Mime mimicked a cell door, and Cat Noir crashed into it. Then, he pretended to lock it, trapping the heroes inside of it. He gave them a silent salute before walking away as the heroes gripped the invisible bars.

"Apparently, not seeing is believing." Ladybug muttered.

"At least he knows how to use his imagination." Artemis replied dryly with a shrug.

"We can't let him go like that!" Cat Noir cried out in annoyance, before turning around and walking to the other end of the invisible cell.

But then, the other three heroes saw the Mime pretending to unlock a car and get in it. Suddenly, the invisible bars vanished, leaving them stupefied. Then, Cat Noir started charging towards where the bars used to be in order to break them.

"No, wait!" Blaze said, trying to grab his tail to stop him, but he missed it by inches.

When Cat Noir noticed that he had strangely gone too far, he tripped over his own feet and landed on his back, making the other three heroes either wince or facepalm. "There, I did it." The black cat hero said.

"I wish you did." Ladybug muttered as she and the others went over to him. "When he started miming the car, the bars disappeared."

"Then that means that he could only mime one thing at a time." Blaze realized.

"He probably doesn't even know that his powers have that limit." Artemis added.

Then, all four heroes quickly started to give chase to the silent villain on the busy streets. When they got close enough, they landed on the roof of the invisible car.

"Nice ride. But if I were you, I would have at least made it a convertible." Cat Noir said.

"That's what you're concerned about?" Artemis asked him as the Mime tried to send the heroes flying by shifting left and right, picking up speed.

Just then, they saw that he was trying to get close to a bus that was a few hundred meters ahead of them. "He's one of the actors from the theater troupe and he's after that bus!" Ladybug exclaimed, recognizing that his normal self was on the poster on the bus.

But then, the Mime got out of the moving car. "Where is he going?" Ladybug asked. "We've gotta stop this thing!"

"Move aside!" Blaze shouted as he carefully made his way inside the invisible car.

"Slam down on the brake!" Cat Noir shouted.

"What brake?!" Blaze asked, knowing that the controls were invisible.

"Hurry!" Artemis yelled, seeing that the car was about to hit a woman and her child crossing the street.

Blaze just quickly followed his instincts and his imagination as he sharply swerved the car to the side while slamming on the brake, just in time to avoid hitting them.

"Not bad for driving an invisible car." Cat Noir commented as he and the girls jumped off the roof of the invisible car, and the mother and kid hurried towards the other end of the road. "Of course, they'll never believe us if we tell them that we just saved their lives."

The Heroes of Paris then saw that the Mime was mimicking putting on a helmet before riding away on a motorcycle. "He's already off again!" Ladybug exclaimed. "We've gotta catch up with the bus before he does!"

But before she could get out her yo-yo, Cat Noir took her arm and placed it around his shoulders. "What do you think you're doing?" She asked him, not really sounding offended or weirded out...just confused.

The black cat just smiled at her. "Good thing you have friends in high places." He said as he grabbed his staff. "Hold on!" He then pressed a button to make his staff grow longer while bringing himself and Ladybug up to the skies.

Blaze seemed to smirk at Cat Noir's idea and then wrapped an arm around Artemis. Instinctively, she held onto his shoulders as he took up into the air.

"I bet you've always dreamed of flying through the sky like this, with me holding you." He said to her teasingly. "It's like that famous Superman scene."

Artemis just rolled her eyes. "Very funny, Fireball. But I'm no Lois Lane. You already have one."

"Plus, they're both reporters." Blaze added.

"Yeah, and they go pretty far just for a good scoop."

Then, they saw Ladybug and Cat Noir heading back down towards the ground, where the bus was currently. They quickly followed them, with all four heroes landing on top of the bus just as the Mime made his appearance.

"Where could the Akuma be?" Cat Noir asked aloud.

"Inside his hat!" Ladybug quickly answered.

"How'd you know that?" Blaze asked her.

"I have hidden talents." The ladybug-themed hero answered with a coy smile. "Trust me on this one."

When they saw the Mime getting closer, Artemis started firing ice arrows while Ladybug made a net with her yo-yo to block him. But the Mime managed to dodge the arrows and then dove through the gaps of the makeshift net and landed on the top of the bus. Ladybug retracted her yo-yo as the Mime mimicked a sword.

"You two need to distract him." She said to the boys.

"We gotcha." Cat Noir assured her.

Then, he jumped off the bus with a playful meow, leaping from car to car before jumping back onto the bus on the other side of the Mime. Blaze stayed on the opposite side, but he made his fiery wings appear so that he could hover in the air.

Both boys then began to sword-fight with the Mime while Artemis shot more ice arrows at him. One arrow managed to nick the end of the Mime's invisible sword, making it briefly visible.

"That can come in handy." The wolf-themed superhero said as she continued to fire more arrows.

Ladybug saw her chance and made an attempt to reach for the Mime's hat. But the Mime saw her hand touching the edge of his hat and he whirled around to start attacking her. But she managed to defend herself by quickly spinning her yo-yo around to form a shield.

Cat Noir hit the Mime with his staff, but the blow, along with the wind of the moving bus, caused the villain to fall off the bus. But Artemis quickly managed to grab his arm to prevent him from falling into the street.

The neon mask lit up the Mime's face, showing that Hawk Moth was telepathically communicating with him. When the butterfly mask vanished, the Mime reached up to grab the pendant around Artemis's neck, making her amber wolf eyes widen in horror. She managed to dodge his hand as Blaze flew over and grabbed the villain, wrenching him away from his partner.

"Grab his hat!" Artemis shouted to the phoenix-themed superhero.

Just then, Cat Noir saw the Mime mimicking a large mallet in his hand. "Look out!" He shouted.

The Mime then tried to whack Blaze with his invisible mallet, but the phoenix superhero managed to dodge his attempt in mid-air. However, the action forced Blaze to let go of the akumatized villain.

He landed on a car and then mimicked a chainsaw to cut through the roof of the car, scaring the driver. Once he had opened up the roof of the car, the Mime climbed inside and silently ordered the fearful driver to follow the bus.

"We've got to get the passengers to safety!" Ladybug said.

"Can either of us lend a helping paw?" Cat Noir asked, gesturing between himself and Artemis.

"Or wing?" Blaze added.

"Yeah, cover me!" Ladybug said, before heading towards the front of the bus.

Cat Noir started spinning his staff around before getting into a fighting position. "Hurry up, Milady!" He said to her as Blaze and Artemis both took a fighting stance.

The Mime stood up in the car and then started shooting arrows at the other three heroes again, but they managed to either dodge or deflect them with their weapons. However, one of the arrows managed to pierce one of the bus's tires, making the bus start to spin out of control, straight towards the plaza near the Eiffel Tower.

Artemis ran towards the front of the bus and then jumped off, landing in the plaza. She put her bow aside and stood in front of where the bus was heading towards, her hands outstretched towards it.

"Flash Freeze!" She exclaimed, and a giant wall of ice began to form in between the two lamp posts that were on the sidewalk, protecting the people that were standing there.

The bus crashed into it, cracking it, but Artemis managed to keep the ice wall up with her power until she was sure that it was sturdy enough before stopping. Using that much power before was new, so she felt a little faint because of it.

Cat Noir and Blaze hurried over to her to help steady her. "You okay?" Blaze asked his partner.

"I'm okay." She assured them. "I just haven't used that much power before. I might need to start practicing some other time."

Suddenly, the Mime re-appeared, running on top of the bus, and then started attacking them again with an invisible sword when he landed on the ground. The other three heroes fought back as best as they could, but soon, the Mime had Cat Noir pinned to the ground. Ladybug came in to help her teammates, but she was held back at sword point while the other two were on the floor, lying in slight pain.

The villain was about to reach down and grab Cat Noir's ring when Ladybug quickly threw her yo-yo around his wrist, pulling it back as Blaze and Artemis got up from the ground. "I don't know what's made you this violent, but I don't think your daughter Mylene would approve!" Ladybug said to him.

The Mime just frowned deeply at her and then pulled her towards him, making her crash into Cat Noir. Blaze and Artemis hurried over to them to help them up. But then, the Mime mimicked a little flash grenade and threw it at them, knocking all four heroes to the ground.

"He sure brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'silent but deadly'." Cat Noir commented, which only made the other three superheroes groan in annoyance at his unfortunate timing with the jokes.

As the four of them stood back up, Ladybug took out her yo-yo. "Lucky Charm!" She exclaimed. In a swarm of red and pink ladybugs, a little red and black polka-dotted box landed in her hands.

"A shoebox? Great." Cat Noir muttered sarcastically with a roll of his eyes. "There'd better be some explosive boots in there or something."

The Mime set out to attack them again, but the other three superheroes held him back by keeping him distracted while Ladybug figured out how to use her Lucky Charm. With her Lucky Vision activated, she saw Sarah's glasses, the bus's light, a poster for the show on the windshield, and the Eiffel Tower, all flash in red and black polka dots.

"Of course! We have to make him really angry!" Ladybug realized, before calling out to her teammates. "Blow his fuse!"

"You don't think he's angry enough?!" Cat Noir asked her.

"Maybe you should argue about how both of you can be annoying some other time?!" Artemis shouted. "When a villain is NOT trying to kill you with invisible weapons?!"

"Hey!" Both Ladybug and Cat Noir exclaimed at the same time.

"Step to it, Cat!" Blaze shouted.

Quickly, Ladybug began getting the things that she needed after she poked a hole in the shoebox. "Gotta borrow these." She said to Sarah, who had the glasses. Then, she grabbed the poster. "A watch, a magnifying glass, some light…" She muttered to herself as she held the box to the bus's headlight, and the poster was viewed onto the Eiffel Tower.

"Voila! A homemade projector." Ladybug said, before calling out to the super villain. "Hey, Mime! Nice poster, don't you think?"

The Mime looked up to see the projection on the tower. An angry scowl then came on his face at the sight of it. He once again mimicked a sword and then literally cut the Eiffel Tower in half in his rage. But then, when the tower slowly started to fall over, he realized his mistake and quickly mimicked a shield to keep it from hitting the ground.

"Yes!" Ladybug exclaimed. "Remember, he can only mime one thing at a time."

"So he's cornered." Artemis realized. "Good thinking."

"Guess we'll get that hat, then." Cat Noir said.

"Allow me." Blaze said as he made his wings appear and then zipped over to the Mime. "Yoink!" He said, snatching the hat off his head and then threw it over to Ladybug.

Ladybug reached into the hat and then pulled out a little purple photo that was inside of a pocket in the hat. She neatly tore it in half and the Akuma butterfly squeezed out of it, ready to make its retreat.

"No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma." Ladybug said as she opened up her yo-yo to show the sparkly pink inside before swinging it around and catching the Akuma before it got too far out of reach. When she brought her yo-yo back to her, she re-opened it and a pure white butterfly fluttered away.

"Bye bye, little butterfly." She said to the fluttering, now-harmless insect, before grabbing the shoebox. "Miraculous Ladybug!"

Ladybug threw the box into the air, where it transformed into swarms of magical ladybugs. They then spread all throughout the city, repairing all of the damage that the Akuma had caused, as the sun began to set.

The now-powerless Mime suddenly had a cloud of purple and black cover him as he changed back into Fred Haprele. "What happened? How did I...get here?" He asked.

The Heroes of Paris just smiled as they put their fists together in celebration of another victory. "Pound it!" They all exclaimed.

As the theater troupe checked on Fred, Ladybug's earrings gave out a warning beep, as did Artemis's pendant. "We'd better get going." Ladybug said as she took out her yo-yo while Artemis formed her grappling gun.

"Such a shame." Cat Noir said, offering her a hand. "I could have been your date for the play tonight. Just you and me."

Ladybug just smiled and rolled her eyes. "Thanks, but I have other plans." She said, pushing his hand back. Then, she and the other two heroes went off into the distance.

But before Blaze and Artemis got very far, Ladybug stopped the former for a moment. "Meet me in the theater a couple of blocks from here in a few hours." She said. "I've got a surprise planned for Alya, the Ladyblogger, if you want to be a part of it."

Blaze just smiled widely, thankful that his mask hid his red cheeks. "I'm in!" He said, and then quickly managed to catch up with Artemis.

A couple of hours later, Allen was over at the theater, waiting for Alya to come. He was hiding by the side of the building, watching the people that were going by. Soon, he saw Alya coming, along with Marinette. The French-Chinese girl looked like she was on cloud nine as she spun around in circles.

"I don't know which I loved more. The show, or sitting next to my sweet Adrien!" She exclaimed, holding her hands together. That explained her euphoria.

"Maybe you should give him a call and ask him out to a movie." Alya teased, knowing fully well that her best friend was hopeless when talking to the handsome blonde model.

Marinette just rolled her eyes at her. "Then you probably don't care about the surprise I planned for you." She said to her with a knowing smile. This was her way of making it up to Alya, after accidentally deleting her video.

Alya smiled widely at her. "Screw up or no screw-up, you know that I love surprises!" She exclaimed.

Marinette's grin turned a bit softer. "Okay, you see that theater over there?" She asked, turning to the theater behind them. "There's something inside for you, on the stage."

Allen took that as his cue. He went further behind the building, and then let out Fenixx from his fanny pack. "Fenixx, Flames Up!" With a flash of gold and orange fire, Blaze appeared and then headed inside the theater via the roof.

When he got inside, he saw that Ladybug was already there, waiting for him, sitting on a large armchair. "Just in time." Ladybug whispered to him as she gestured towards one of the seats. Blaze just smirked at her playfully before sitting down at one of the spare chairs. Just then, she stood up as Alya came inside the theater.

"Hello! Alya, right?" She called out to the Ladyblogger. "Last time Blaze and I saw you, we were both in a hurry, but we've got a bit more time now, if you want to interview us for your Ladyblog."

Alya's eyes almost bugged out at the sight of her two favorite superheroes. "No... Seriously?!" She asked in amazement. "Do I! Do I!" She then ran up to where they were.

"Have a seat." Ladybug said, gesturing to the spare chair as she sat back down in her own chair.

"You don't know me, but FYI, this is the biggest moment of my life!" Alya squealed.

After many questions, Ladybug had to leave, so Alya ended the interview. But before the Ladyblogger could get up from her seat, Blaze stood up and came over to her.

"Here's a little token of my appreciation for everything you do for us." He said to her. He then leaned in and gently kissed her cheek, making Alya's face turn crimson. When he pulled away, he gave her a cheeky wink.

"This is our little secret." He said before he stepped away, made his wings appear, and then flew out through the roof.

When Blaze landed behind the building, he transformed back into Allen, holding his Kwami in his hands before tucking him away into his fanny pack. Allen made it to the side of the building just as Alya came out herself, where Marinette was waiting for her.

"Show me!" Marinette said to her, excitedly reaching for her phone. But Alya pulled it away from her, a little cheeky grin on her face as she dispelled the earlier blush.

"Only after I put it on my blog!" Alya said with a slight laugh. "There's no way I'm gonna lose this video!"

"Hey!" Marinette exclaimed as she began to chase after her best friend for the phone, both of them laughing.

Allen watched them go down the block, Alya playing keep away with Marinette. A little lovestruck smile came on his face as he watched the ombre-haired reporter. But then, he remembered that little kiss he'd given her before. A little feeling of dread and uneasiness started to swell in his chest when he realized the little predicament he found himself in.

There was no way that he could ever tell Bianca about this. He knew her all too well. She was going to lose it if she ever found out, chewing him out for doing something so stupid and then probably turn into a real wolf and maim him.

The next morning at school, Allen and Bianca noticed Alya walking into the building with a dreamy smile on her face, no doubt remembering the kiss that Blaze had given her last night. After all, he was brave, powerful, handsome, charming, and mysterious. How could a girl ever get enough?

Bianca had a confused look on her face as to why Alya seemed all lovey-dovey. But in his mind, Allen could already imagine the displeased scowl on her face if she knew the truth, and silently demanding answers and a very good explanation, and the very intense argument that would follow afterward.

"I HAD to kiss her, Bianca!" He would exclaim. "She doesn't remember my first one, so I had to make this one count! Besides, you know that she's smitten with me as Blaze much more than she is with me as Allen. And I could tell from her expression that she enjoyed that kiss just as much as I did."

"Well, who do you want her to like more? Allen or Blaze?" Bianca would demand to him. "Which one will have a more steady, more stable, more SAFE relationship? As Blaze, you can put her life in danger! Is that how you want her to live the rest of her life, watching behind her all the time to make sure that an Akuma doesn't try to kidnap her and use her as bait to lure you out?! I know you think you can protect her, but the truth is that you can't always be there for her!"

"You're only saying that because you weren't there for Hannah when she needed you!" Allen would shout back at her, already seeing the proverbial knife that he had just stabbed into her heart. "Don't you dare put me in that same boat! Just because you let it happen, don't assume that I will!"

"No, she wasn't there for me! There's a huge difference!" Bianca would retort back, amber eyes flaring up and tears forming in them, knowing quite well that he had just crossed a serious line. "And I'm not grouping you in with her! You're better than that! I just don't think that you should pursue Alya as Blaze. It's not safe for either of you! You're not thinking straight, Hoops! I just don't want you to get hurt! Whether it be physically in battle if she is used as bait to lure you out into a trap, or emotionally if she only likes you just because you're a superhero!"

"But I'm more comfortable talking to her about my feelings when I'm Blaze." Allen would argue back to her. "And she's way more interested in the city's superheroes, so Blaze is who she'd be more interested in. 'Allen' is nothing to her, compared to Blaze. And if being a hero is the only way for her to love me, then I'll do it! I'd do anything to make her happy! That's just what people do for those that they love, you put their happiness first, and that's something that you just wouldn't understand! Bianca, you don't even know what real love is, since you've closed off your heart to every boy that you meet, except me!"

"That's my problem, not yours! I deal with it, not you!" Bianca would shout back, a stray tear escaping from her eyes. "And I've been taking your advice on learning how to let others get close! Why won't you do the same when I'm telling you that Alya would like Allen more than Blaze if he would just try?! Even if you never found Fenixx, I'd still be telling you what I'm saying right now! I might've closed myself off to love because of my own choice, but I do know that in any relationship, it has to be real! And I'm sorry, but Blaze and Alya CAN'T happen! But you're so caught up in trying to make some grand impression that you fail to see the way she looks at you as yourself!"

"I DO see it!" Allen would yell. "And like I just said, the way that she looks at me as myself is just as a friend! Blaze is the type of person that she's clearly interested in! I see now that I'll never win her heart by just being myself!"

He'd then take a deep breath to calm down and say more calmly, "Look, Bea...I truly appreciate everything that you've done to help me in winning her heart as 'Allen', but I can see now that it just won't work if I do it your way. Thank you for trying to help me, but it just wasn't enough. I need to try this my own way now...as Blaze."

Allen gulped and then took a deep breath to try and get rid of the possible scenario from his mind, feeling a small lump forming inside of his throat. As much as he wanted Alya to notice him as more than just a friend, he valued Bianca too much to get into such an argument about his possible actions. She had already been through enough already in her life. Something as menial as this, when it came to keeping their superhero and civilian lives separate, was one problem that they really didn't need escalating. Bianca was like his sister, the sister he never had. And Allen needed her support just as much as she needed his. He was there for her during the aftermath of her incident, and he was both happy and lucky that the trauma that followed said incident didn't cause her to push him away.

Well, maybe one day, everything can turn out for the better, and she can keep going on that road to recovery. He thought to himself. And I, along with the rest of our friends, will be there for her every step of the way.

PokemonFreak90: Like I said, we changed a lot from how the original episode played out. For example, Marinette tells the truth about Alya's phone right from the start, thanks to Bianca. Also, Allen is there as Blaze for the interview at the ending.

He gives Alya a kiss, since she didn't remember their first one, and they're both smart enough to not tell anyone, especially not Bianca.

Things seem to be looking up for Allen, huh?

MDM: Maybe it was a good thing that Allen didn't tell Bianca about the kiss. They may have different opinions when it comes to secret identities, but they're best friends. They care too much to let such a little thing become a big argument.

Well, that's all for this time! We see y'all later! Please leave a review about what you think. They are highly appreciated, and remember to stay healthy!

Got to fly! ;)
