(Kini-Nui)

Dusk has fallen over the island of Mata-Nui, coloring the visible sky in fiery colors. A few hours have passed since Tim, Takua and Pewku had rejoined Jaller, and they have followed the path the mask of light has led them to ever since. After a long travel, they reached the great temple of Kini-Nui, where the mask stopped glowing, meaning that this was the end of their journey.

"Kini-Nui, the great temple…" said Jaller in amazement as he looked at the giant statue head of the temple.

"Men, I have seen many of the Matoran's architecture, but I'm still amazed that they can achieve this." Tim thought as he looked at the massive statue head as well.

"No way. We've been all over the island just to wind up here?!" asked Takua with a tone of confusion and disappointment in his voice.

"Why not? It's a special place." Said Jaller.

"Are you sure this thing is working right?" asked Takua as he snatched the mask out of Jaller's hands, he then began to shake the mask, which suddenly began to glow brightly.

"Woah!" the trio exclaimed as a beam of light shot from the mask and hit the statue head.

"What'd you do!?" asked Jaller in a shocked tone as part of the statue head that was hit began to crumble.

Pewku got startled by this and quickly retreated into her shell.

"Way to go, Takua." Tim thought as he rolled his eyes, he looked back at the statue, believing that there will be a large crater in it. But as the dust began to clear, he saw something that gave him a surprised and confused expression. "Do you guys see that?" he asked, pointing at the statue.

Jaller and Takua looked toward the statue and their eyes widened in surprise, within the crater was what looked like a stone mask underneath the statue head.

"Wow, a mask… inside the statue?" asked Takua in bewilderment.

"This is it; the seventh Toa must be here." Said Jaller with determination.

"And I bet that the mask inside the statue will tell us the Toa's identity." Said Tim with the same determination.

Suddenly, the trio heard a loud unnatural screech. They quickly looked in that direction and to their shock, there were three Rahkshi on one of the large boulders that now laid around, they looked at them with hatred in the Kraata's eyes.

"Rahkshi!?" Tim exclaimed with a surprised tone in his voice, "Are you kidding me?!"

"Quick, give me the mask!" said Jaller, grabbing the mask of light back.

"Jaller no!" said Takua, "We all know the mask chose me, I'm the true herald."

"Are you sure?" asked Jaller, looking dumfounded because of the situation, "Even now?"

"Yes! I am the herald!" Takua insisted as he took the mask.

At that point, the Rahkshi jumped down to the ground and began to approach the trio.

"Yeah, and I say RUN!" Tim shouted as he urged the two Matoran to go.

The trio quickly rushed over to the central plateau of Kini-Nui, their climbed up the stairs of the plateau and were about to rush to the bridge to the other side of the canyon, only to be stopped by three more Rahkshi approaching them with same hatred in their Kraata's eyes.

"Aw, now what?!" asked Jaller.

The trio then looked around and saw that the six Rahkshi had surrounded them.

"We're trapped!" Takua exclaimed.

"But not helpless." Jaller declared as he grabbed his Matoran sword.

Following Jaller's example, Tim summoned Metru Destiny in a flash of light, and Takua grabbed his Kohlii stick with one hand while holding the mask of light under his other arm. As they prepared themselves for the attack, Tim looked between the two trio's of Rahkshi, and with a closer look noticed something.

"Umm, do those Rahkshi look familiar to you?" Tim asked as he looked at the two Matoran.

Jaller looked at the three Rahkshi on the bridge and noticed a little bit of frostbite on some parts of their bodies, realizing that these three were Panrahk, Guurahk, and Lerahk. "Yeah, those three were frozen in the lake!" he says as he points at the Rahkshi.

Takua then looked at the other three Rahkshi and saw a little bit of dust on them, and some bumps in their armor, realizing that it was Vohrahk, Kuurahk, and Turahk. "And those three were buried when Onu-Koro collapsed." Said Takua.

"But… how did they all escape?" asked Tim.

"I freed them." Said a familiar double voice above them.

The trio quickly looked up and saw Lady Chaos slowly descending toward them.

"Chaos!" Tim exclaimed.

"I brought the Rahkshi back from their frozen and earth covered graves." Said Lady Chaos, "Their Kraata may had frozen to dead or crushed under the rocks, but were brought back with the power of the god of darkness, and they want revenge on the once responsible for their deaths." The Rahkshi let out an angry screech in agreement.

Tim looked at the screeching Rahkshi, then looked at the dark Keyblade wielder as she landed a few feet away from them. "We really must stop meeting like this, this is, what, the fourth time?" he asked with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Maybe." Said Lady Chaos, she then looked at Takua and smiled, "Quite ironic, isn't it? you said that you didn't want to bring the mask of light and the Keyblade wielder to us, but you did after all, well than."

"I didn't." said Takua, pointing his Kohlii stick at Lady Chaos, "The mask led us here, and this isn't even Makuta's lair."

"True…" Lady Chaos began as she simply pushed the Kohlii stick aside with a single finger, "but since you have been there before, you already know that you are close to the lair of Makuta." She then looked back at Tim, "This is also your chance to joi-"

"I told you in Onu-Koro, I will not join the god of darkness, not after what he has done." Said Tim, interrupting the dark Keyblade wielder in her speech, while pointed his Keyblade toward her, the tip of the blade almost touching her face by mere inches, "I have sworn an oath to the god of light that I will protect the worlds that are threatened by your master."

Lady Chaos rolled her eyes with a disappointing sigh, "Not a wise chose." She says as she began to circle around the three heroes while Tim still pointed his Keyblade at her, "I remember six other Keyblade wielders how had pledge their loyalty to the god of light. One fell for the darkness in his heart, two found themselves stuck in the realm of darkness with no way out, two had their bodies, hearts and souls broken, and the final one went into hiding like the coward he was. And what do they all have in common? Their suffering is caused because they followed the naïf dreams of my master's brother."

"Her master's brother?" Tim thought, his eyes began to dash back and forth as he tried to figure out what she meant, "Wait a minute… the god of light his name is Mata Nui, and according to the Turaga, Makuta was Mata Nui's brother, so if she is right and the god of darkness is the brother of the god of light then that means…" Tim's eyes lit up in realization, "That's way the god of light brought me here, he wanted me to know what I'm up against, and who the god of darkness once was!"

"The god of light has brought you into a trap!" said Lady Chaos as she stopped circling around them and looked straight at him, "Your seriously outnumbered, your only two companions can easily be defeated." She then took a calmer look, "But we don't have to be enemies, you have great skill with your Keyblade and your control over magic is equelly impressive, but if you join us, we can make you even stronger, join us and we will rule the universe, together. Maybe the god of darkness will give you your own world to rule over in his name, you can even change it to your own liking."

"If I was a corrupt person, with a lust for power and control, I would have accepted your offer." Said Tim, causing Lady Chaos to raise a curious eyebrow, Tim's tone then turned more serious, "But I am not such a person. As long as I live, I will fight the darkness! And protect the worlds from your masters' sick plans!"

An expression of disappointment and annoyance grew on Lady Chaos her face, "So, we have to convince you, the hard way." She says. Lady Chaos then spread her wings and launched herself into the air. "Rahkshi, Attack!"

The Rahkshi screeched excitedly and pointed their Staff's toward the three heroes, who quickly took a defensive pose. But just as the dark beings could attack, two large bright lights appeared and surrounded Kini-Nui, forcing Lady Chaos and the Rahkshi to cover their eyes. Tim, Jaller and Takua looked up and to their relieve saw Tahu, Gali and Lewa standing before a large fire pot that lit the area up above them.

"Toa!" Tim called as the three Toa jumped down toward them.

"Great, you can get us out of here." Said Takua as the Toa landed in a protective triangle around the Keyblade wielder and Matoran.

"We are done running." Said Tahu as he draws his Fire Swords, while Gali draw her Aqua Axes and Lewa draw his Air Katana at the same time.

Tim, Jaller and Takua looked at one another with a relieved expression, but suddenly the ground began to shake. "Woah, what's that?" asked Takua, with surprise in his tone.

A bulge began to form in the sand on the center of the plateau, from it emerged a hand. For a second, Tim Jaller and Takua thought that it might be more Rahkshi, but that thought vanished when Pohatu, Onua and Kopaka jumped out of the hole and grabbed their own weapons.

"Brothers, we thought we lost you." Said Gali with a relieved tone in her voice.

"And you might have," said Onua, he then looked at Kopaka, "if it weren't for our icy friend." Kopaka looked back at Onua with a nod.

"Looks like we have even numbers now." Said Tim as he looked up at Lady Chaos.

The dark Keyblade wielder clanged her teeth, once again the Toa stood in the way. "You all have a bad habit of interfering!" she says, pointing her finger at the six Toa, "But this is a matter between me and the Keyblade wielder, so get lost!"

"No!" said Tahu, pointing one of his Fire Swords to the Dark Keyblade wielder, "It is our duty to defend the defenseless from the likes of you, so as long as where here, you shall not get close to them or the Keyblade wielder!"

"I appreciate your will to defend me," said Tim as he looked at Tahu, he then turned his attention to Lady Chaos, "but she is right, this battle is between her and me."

"But she almost took you down last time," said Takua with a worried tone in his voice, "why do you want to risk your life for this?"

"Because I have too." Said Tim, he then leaned down on one knee and looked the two Matoran in their eyes, "I can understand that your worried, and believe me, I wish I didn't have to do this," he then looked up at Lady Chaos, "But I have seen what the forces of the god of darkness are capabel of, after all, I lost my home because of them." He then rose back to his feet, his hands bulging into fists, "Besides, Mata Nui had given me the task to protect the worlds from the dark forces, and that's exactly what I will do!" just as those worlds came out of his mouth and with no one noticing, the crystal in Tim's chest began to glow.

"You speak-say those words with the bravery-courage of a true Toa-Hero." Said Lewa with an amazed tone in his voice. "And in a way, I seem to follow the three virtues just as you do."

"Is that so?" asked Kopaka, lifting an eye plate of his mask.

Tim nodded at Kopaka, then looked around at the other Toa, "Even though you guys aren't always on one line with each other, your hearts are connected, and that is what makes you a Unity." Tim began, "I share that same connection with my friends, even though we are separated, and they are far beyond my reach, I know that in our hearts we will always be a Unity." The crystal in Tim's chest began to glow brighter, maybe not that much, but still bright enough for Jaller and Takua to notice. Tim then looked at the Rahkshi as he continued, "The great spirit had given you the duty to protect the Matoran and Turaga from the forces of Makuta like these Rahkshi, just like defeating the forces of the god of darkness is what he gave me as my Duty!" the crystal because brighter, and its purple color began to mix with a golden yellow color, the glow now bright enough for the Toa to notice as well. "And just as it is your Destiny to awaken Mata Nui from Makuta's spell, to restore the balance of the world's is my Destiny!" the crystal glow brighter again, it's color now changed into a golden yellow and was bright enough for everyone in the area to notice. Suddenly, a golden light-like aura surrounded Tim and he began to levitate without Noticing. "So as long as I'm alive, I will keep on fighting the darkness, until the very end!"

The crystal began to glow so bright that everyone was forced to cover their eyes as the light develops the young Keyblade wielder and illuminated the area. Tim watched on as the light swirled around him and moved to his back, where it took the form of two large shapes, then in a bright flash, the shapes became solid and turned in large, metal, golden wings. The wings were shaped like those of a Eagle with feater-like plates that where shaped like blades and the edges gave off a blueish glow. (Imagine wings from Horus's god form from Gods of Egypt with features from the wings of Zeus from Immortals Fenyx rising.) When the light vanished, everyone was left stunned, a expression of bewildered and awe on their faces.

Even Tim was stunned by his new wings, "Wow." He says with an amazed tone in his voice. His expression soon turned into one of determination, he then looked back at Lady Chaos, who also was stunded by this sudden tranformation.

Lady Chaos soon snapped out of her bewilderment and her eyes turned into a glare and she bulge her hands into fists in annoyance. She then turned to the Rahkshi and shouted, "DESTROR THEM!"

Tim quickly looked at the Toa, "Now! As one!" he shouted as he held Metru Destiny up in the air, the Toa followed his example, holding their weapons up before placing them together to form a protective circle around the three heroes.

Panrahk, Guurahk and Lerahk placed their staffs together and fired a combined dark energy beam, with Turahk, Vohrahk and Kuurahk doing the same, while Lady Chaos placed her hand close to each other and created an orb of dark energy, before pushing it away and unleashing a dark energy blast. As the three beams shot toward them, the crystal in Tim's chest began to glow, as did the Toa's masks. Then, a large barrier of light appeared and surrounded them, just as the dark beams were about to make contact.

"We will not be broken!" shouted Tim and the six Toa in unison as the barrier faded away.

Tim then clapped his wings and launched himself into the air. Even though flying with his own wings was a totally new experience for him, he flew as if he had done it before.

Tim soon reached the same air height as Lady Chaos and looked at her, "Well then, Chaos," he says with a determined tone in his voice as he pointed Metru Destiny at the dark Keyblade wielder, "shall we continue where we left off at Onu-Koro?"

Lady Chaos looked back at the young Keyblade wielder with narrowed eyes, "Yes," she says, summoning Dark Plot in a flash of dark light, "let's Finnish our little dance."

"One shall stand!" Tim declared.

"And one shall fall!" Lady Chaos declared back.

The two now winged Keyblade wielders then charged toward each other, holding their Keyblades above their heads, and brought them down onto each other in a downward vertical slice. The two Keyblades clash with so much force that they created a shock wave that blew dust into the air. Tim and Lady Chaos also were pushed back by the force of the blow, but they quickly recovered from it and charged back. Tim swung Metru Destiny with a diagonal slice, only for the dark Keyblade wielder to block it, Lady Chaos then swung Dark Plot with a horizontal slice, but Tim held his Keyblade vertically to block the attack. Lady Chaos preformed a quick upward kick underneath Tim's chin, causing him to flip backward. Tim recovered from the attack, and now with some distance between the two flying fighters, he pointed his Keyblade toward Lady Chaos and cast a blizzard spell, unleashing a blast of ice towards the dark Keyblade wielder as she flew toward him, but the attack missed. Tim quickly held Metru Destiny in both hands and managed to block the next attack from Lady Chaos before pushing her back.

Seeing their mistress fighting above them, the Rahkshi decided to join in on the fight. Panrahk, Guurahk, and Lerahk began the ground battle by charging toward the Toa circle.

Lewa noticed the attacking Rahkshi approaching them and jumped in between Tahu and Kopaka, he then swung his Air katana towards their enemy, "Wind-fly! Sand-twister!" he announced.

Lewa's Air Katana began to spin around and created a small tornado that began approaching the Rahkshi, sucking up dust and sand as it went. When Panrahk, Guurahk, and Lerahk noticed the tornado, the skipped to a halt, only to be sucked in by it, leaving them screeching in agony from the sharp sand that came into their eyes and scratched their exposted skin.

On the other side of the Plato, Gali jumped towards the other three Rahkshi. The moment the Toa of water landed in front of them, Turahk swung his staff at her, only to miss when Gali side stepped the attack. Kuurahk took a swing with his staff at Gali next, but the blue Toa jumped out of the way, causing the staff to miss her as well, but it hits Turahk instead. The red Rahkshi of fear was blown of his feet and landed hard with it's back on the ground, losing consciousness in the process.

Up in the sky, after having dodged Lewa's small tornado, Lady Chaos outstretch her free hand and unleashed a blast of dark lightning toward Tim, but the young Keyblade wielder simply flew past the lighting and even flew around it as he rushed toward the dark Keyblade master and slammed into her with so much force that she was blown against the statue head. Lady Chaos quickly recovered from the blow and moved out of the way just as Tim flew up to her and swung Metru Destiny down with a downward slice, only to hit the statue instead. Lady Chaos quickly launched herself upwards, with Tim quickly following close behind. For the next couple of minutes, the two winged Keyblade wielders flew all across the battlefield, flying around the large statue head, past the fire pit where the Toa had appeared at the beginning of the battle, over the fighting Toa and Rahkshi, dodged the small tornado while flying over the bridge, circled upward by the rock spike and over the broken altar on top, before diving down past the bridge and flew over the river below until the waterfall, then flew back to the great temple. During the flight, the two combatants chased each other with sometimes Tim chasing Lady Chaos and other times Lady Chaos chasing Tim, all the while clashing their Keyblades and unleashing their magic powers at each other. Wants they flew above the battle ground, the two Keyblade wielders scattered in different directions before charging back towards each other, wants they came close they swung their Keyblades at each other, the two blades clashed and felt them in another blade-lock.

Back on the ground, Lewa still had Panrahk, Guurahk, and Lerahk in his now sand filled tornado, by this time the Kraata of the three Rahkshi had their lungs filled with sand. But just to be sure they didn't get away, Lewa and Tahu decided to combine their powers.

"Sand!" said Lewa.

"And fire!" said Tahu, crossing his Fire swords and shooting a stream of flames toward the tornado.

The fire was absorbed by the tornado and mixed together into a fire whirl. The Immense heat cause the sand to melt and turn into fluid glass, soon the fire whirl cooled into a sculpture of glass, with the Rahkshi incased in side. "Ha-ha makes glass." Said Lewa with a laugh.

On the other side of the Plato, Gali preformed a cartwheel as she dodged a energy blast from one of the two remaining Rahkshi, who had still their focus on her, "Back off!" she says in a demanding tone as Vohrahk and Kuurahk approached her.

As the two Rahkshi closed in on the Toa of water, they heard sound of someone clearing his throat behind them and looked around to find Kopaka standing behind them, "Surprise. "said the Toa of ice as the two Rahkshi turned their focus on him.

"Rahkshi!" said Pohatu, who had appeared next to Vohrahk and Kuurahk out of nowhere, catching the two Rahkshi by surprise, before throwing his Climbing Claws towards them, the two weapons quickly clamped themselves at Vohrahk's and Kuurahk's wrists, restraining the two Rahkshi.

Using his Quake Breakers, which were blades shaped like chainsaws, Onua sliced away at a large boulder from the statue, he then put his weapons away and bumped his fists together, which began to glow, and by using his elemental power he levitated the chunks of rock into the air. "Leave the heavy lifting to me!" he says before moving the rocks above the trapped Rahkshi.

Tahu then jumped towards the cluster of rocks with his Fire swords Down, "Lava!" he says as liquid fire burst out of the two blades. The molten lave and flying rocks soon combined and turned into meteors that fell straight to Vohrahk and Kuurahk, who let out a screech of panic as the meteors crashed on top of them, leaving the two Rahkshi trapped in a pole of lava and screeching in agony.

"Water!" said Gali as she shoot jets of water from her Water axes at the two Rahkshi, cooling the lava in the process.

Kopaka then drove his Ice staff into the cooled lava and turned it into ice, freezing the Rahkshi solid in the process, "And ice." He says.

Jaller and Takua looked on as the Toa defeated the Rahkshi, and they let out a sigh of relief, thinking it was over. But their relief quickly turned to horror when then last of the Rahkshi, Turahk, who had regained consciousness, suddenly appeared in front of them and attacked them. Turahk's unnatural screech and Pewku's panicked whimpers catches the Toa's attention as the red Rahkshi approached the two fleeing Matoran. Turahk then shot red energy rings from its staff and hit Takua, the Matoran's mask glow in a evil red aura as he was immediately immobilized with fear. As he was unable to move, Takua suddenly heard a dark, familiar voice.

"Takua…" said the dark demonic voice of Makuta.

Above them, Tim and Lady Chaos had clash their Keyblades into another blade lock. Tim's eyes widened when he heard the voice of Makuta, finding it familiar. "That voice…" he thought, "I know that voice…"

"Fear me…" said Makuta's voice to Takua through Turahk as the red Rahkshi prepared itself to finish the Matoran off, "Fear me…"

Jaller heard the voice as well and looked around to see his friend in danger, he rushed toward them and jumped to Turahk's staff. Upon contact, Jaller's whole body was engulfed in the same evil red aura of fear and the pain was so agonizing that is caused him to shout out in agony, the sound of howling spirit's could be heard during this process. Turahk soon flung Jaller off it's staff, it then turned it's attention to the Toa who were charging toward it.

Takua finally managed to break free of Turahk's power, the red aura evaporating as he shook his head, "Jaller, NO!" he shouted as he rushed to his fallen comrade.

Above, Tim noticed this and pushed Lady Chaos away, his face then turned into a shocked expression. Lady Chaos followed Tim's gaze down and her face lit up before a evil smile crack it's way on her lips.

Takua reached to Jaller, who was breathing heavily and his heart light was flashing weakly, the red aura fading away as the chronicler held his hand underneath his friend's head, "I'm supposed to make the sacrifice." He says with a tone of worry and disbelief in his voice.

"No… the duty was mine." Said Jaller weakly, he then grabbed the mask of light, "You know… who you are." He then slowly handed the mask to Takua, "You were always different." Upon giving the mask to his friend, Jaller closed his eyes and his heart light flashed out, leaving Takua with a sad look on his mask.

"No…" said Tim in a tone of disbelief and sorrow, his expression turned sad upon the site of the death of his Matoran friend.

"You see now, boy?" asked Lady Chaos as she turned toward Tim, "This is what happens when one follows the light, does who will follow the God of light will suffer and die an unnecessary death. That same fate will happen to you as well if you continue the path your on now." She then outstretched her hand to him, "But if you join us, we can make sure that these things will never happen again, join us and we can save the lives of all living beings in the universe."

For a brief second Tim looked at Lady Chaos, but he didn't answer, he knew that she was lying. After all, he had seen that does who follows the god of darkness will cause more harm to others and innocents will suffer by their hands.

On the ground, Takua carefully lead down the lifeless body of his fallen friend, then looked back at the mask of light, "You know… who you are." echoed the voice of Jaller in his head as he looked at the inscription on the inside of the mask.

Tim had a curious look on his face as a determined expression appeared on Takua's mask, the Matoran then placed the mask of light on his face and a bright light began to develop him as he took his Kohlii stick in one hand. The light was bright enough to catch everyone's attention. As the two Keyblade wielders, six Toa, and the last Rahkshi watched with either surprised and amazed expressions on their faces and masks. Takua's body began to change, he became taller, his arms and legs became longer, and his armor changed Appearance.

"Of course, that why the mask glew whenever it's close to Takua." Said Tim in realization, "He was not meant to be the herald of the seventh Toa, he 'is' the seventh Toa."

True to Tim's words, just as the transformation was completed and the light faded away, it was revealed that Takua had indeed became a Toa. He now has white opal colored chest plate and pauldrons, and golden armor, the mask of light now covering his face. The Kohlii stick has also changed into a new weapon called a Staff of Light, it has a long handle with hammer piece at the bottom and a blade at the top. "I am Takanuva, Toa of light." He announced, looking at everyone around him.

Takanuva turns his attention to Turahk, swung his staff and shot a beam of golden light at the red Rahkshi, Turahk screeched in agony as its body got developed by golden light and the Kraata disintegrated. Takanuva then turned to the statue head and fired another beam of light at it, the powerful blast caused the rest of the rock layer to break off and reveal the stone mask underneath, which was Takua's Kanohi Pakari.

As she watched on, Lady Chaos couldn't believe her bad luck. Not only did she fail to prevent the rise of the seventh Toa, she will not be able to convince her target to join her master's side. Her eyes turned into a glare, she will not let that Matoran's action go unpunished.

Takanuva then looked at Lady Chaos, seeing that she was glaring at him. "You may have scared me in the tunnels of Onu-Koro, but I will not be anymore." He says, "You failed Chaos, now return to Makuta, and tell him that I will come for him next!"

"I take no orders from the likes of you!" snarled Lady Chaos, "You have made a mistake by defying the will of the god of darkness. I will bring him that mask, even if I have to rip it off your face!" she then de-summoned her Dark Keyblade and created a orb of dark energy between her hands, "Now, prepare to meet your friend, in death!"

Lady Chaos unleashed a dark energy blast at Takanuva, who quickly pointed his staff at her and shot a beam of light. The two energy blasts collided and the two began to push. Even though she was weakened due to the fight with Tim and Takanuva being the fresh new Toa with great power because of the mask of light, Lady Chaos had more than enough strength to push her dark blast a inch further per ten seconds, giving great pressure on Takanuva, which was noticed by Tim.

"I need to do something," Tim thought, "if she defeats Takanuva, then Mata Nui wouldn't be awakened and that will change the timeline!" the young Keyblade wielder knew that even though some small details in time can be changed, one must not meddle with the main course of the timeline. Tim's eyes darted back and forth as he thought of a way to stop Lady Chaos, they then locked on the two energy beams, "wait…" his eyes then turned to Lady Chaos's hands, "Can one do such a move with the power of light as well?" he then looked at his own hand, "Well, only one way to find out."

Tim flew to the other side of the battle field until he was above Takanuva, he then de-summons his Keyblade and placed his hands together. Tim then closed his eyes and began to concentrate, tapping into his inner light. As he did so, the crystal in his chest began glow brighter again, he then opened his eyes which were now glowing golden yellow. He then slowly opened his hands and a orb of golden light formed in between the palms of his hands. Tim then looked at Lady Chaos with a determined expression, "You should have kept your attention to me, Chaos." He says under his breath.

Tim then outstretched his arms forward and the orb between his hands turned into a energy beam of light, which was heading straight for Lady Chaos.

Noticing something in the corner of her eye, Lady Chaos had only a second to look before the light beam hit her in the chest. The force of the blast was powerful enough to blow her backwards, Lady Chaos soon slammed into one of the opposite pillars of the broken altar. For a moment, Lady Chaos let out a cry of pain as the beam of light burned through her armor before she fainted, and after Tim's light blast vanished, her body lean forward and the dark Keyblade wielder fell into the hole in the middle of the broken altar, vanishing into the darkness from which the dark Keyblade wielder and the Rahkshi came from.

With Lady Chaos and the Rahkshi defeated, Tim closed his eyes and the crystal in his chest changed back from golden yellow to purple. He then slowly descents next to Takanuva, his wings retreated back into his back in a flash of golden light.

The young Keyblade wielder and Toa of light looked at each other, Takanuva gave Tim a appreciated nod, and Tim returned the gesture with a nod of his own. The two heroes then turned their attention to the lifeless body of Jaller and Takanuva lifted him up in his hands, the two then walked down the pedestal toward the other Toa.

(Makuta's lair)

"So, it has begun, my brother." Said Makuta within the shadow of his lair, having seen the battle up above, "But soon, it will also… end."

The sound of the door to his lair opening and closing caught Makuta's attention. Entering the lair was Lady Chaos who held her hand over her chest. The chest plate of her armor had been scorched by Tim's light blast attack and it was hurting her chest. Her hand was glowing in a dark aura as she tried to heal herself.

"You failed." Said Makuta in a disappointed tone.

"I… underestimated him…" Lady Chaos grunted, "Gnh! The boy is stronger than I thought he was…"

Makuta let out a low sigh, "Things have escalated way to much," he says, "Not only did we fail to get that Keyblade wielder on our side, we also failed to stop the rise of the Toa of light."

"He is noting more then a Matoran in a Toa armor," said Lady Chaos as she leaned on one of the sickly-green glowing pillars with her free hand, "and the Boy's feelings to those closest to him is a weakness of it's own, one easily exploted, as long as nothing gets in the way."

"Even so, your injuries are prove of how strong they are." Said Makuta, pointing at the damage on her armor, Makuta then began to pace back and through, with every footstep causing as small tremor, "If I know the Toa, they will soon be upon us. Your weakened from that last fight, and I am still not fully recovered from my last encounter with the Toa."

"But then, what are we going to do, my lord Makuta Teridax?" asked Lady Chaos.

Makuta thought deeply, their had to be a way to defeat them and get what they wanted. His red glowing eyes then lit up as a idee came to mind.

"Tell me," Makuta began as he looked back at Lady Chaos, "have you heard about a certain game that the Matoran like to play?"

"What kind of 'Game'?" asked Lady Chaos, raising an eye brow.

Though his face was shrouded in shadow, a evil grin grew on Makuta's mask.

(Kini-Nui)

Several hours have past since the battle against the Rahkshi, all the Matoran from all six villages on the island of Mata Nui had gathered at the Great Tempel of Kini-Nui to mourn the death of Jaller and to prepare for the battle against Makuta.

Takanuva was by the altar, looking at the mask of Jaller, which was levitated in a beam of golden light. "All this, just to discover who I am?" he asked himself in a sorrowful tone.

"You have finally found your own story, and still you seek answers." Said a familiar voice. Takanuva turned around and saw Turaga Vakama approaching him, next to the Turaga was Tim. Takanuva looked down, feeling a little ashamed.

"I know how you feel, Takua." Said Tim, getting the Toa of light's attention, "I am also sad that Jaller is no longer with us. But I belief that Jaller would have been proud of you if he saw you now, and that we should look to our future, not to lingering in the past."

Takanuva let out a sigh, "I know," he says, "I'm just still unsure of what my future will bring, I mean, I can't go back to my work as a chronicler anymore now that I'm a Toa."

"Yeah, I still have to get used to that new name of yours." Said Tim in a jokily manner.

The three chuckled, then Takanuva let out a relieved sigh, "Thanks, I really needed that." He says.

Tim nodded, then looked curiously at Takanuva, "But I still wonder, did you knew that you were the seventh Toa?"

"Not at first," said Takanuva, "but when the Turaga told to who the mask of light belonged too, and it constantly glow when I held it, I knew that I was the herald." He then looked at his hand, "But after Jaller sacrificed his live for me, I had this feeling as if the mask belonged to me, and it was confirmed after I placed it on my mask and I transformed."

"But, if you knew you were the herald, why didn't you except the task?" Tim asked.

"Well," started Takanuva, "when Makuta sent out corrupted Rahi at the Matoran, I had followed the Toa into his lair, I saw how strong Makuta was when the Toa confronted him. then I saw how Makuta unleashed the Bohrok, it scared me to the core, and after since I tried to stay away from anything that had to do with Makuta." He then looked at Tim with a determent expression in his mask, "But I knew that I had to confront my fear, and I did so when Onu-Koro was attacked."

"You followed your heart," said Tim, tapping his finger on Takanuva's heart light, "despite your fear, you caped on going, and found the path that faith, or the Great Spirit, has laid out for you."

"Yes, and Mata Nui is wiser than all." Said Vakama, agreeing with Tim, "Like Tim says, the path you walked was not to be here, but in here." He pointed at Takanuva's chest, "Now you understand, your destiny is clear."

"Yes, My duty is clear." Said Takanuva, looking back at Jaller's mask, "Jaller's sacrifice will not be in vain."

"And You will not go along." Said Tim with determination in his voice.

"Your sure?" asked Takanuva.

"Yes." Said Tim, "Mata Nui had brought me to this world and time to show me what I'm up against, and since we now know that Makuta will became the god of darkness that I will face in my time, its important for me to face Makuta in person. Besides, Lady Chaos is also still with him, you won't stand a chance alone."

"I understand." Said Takanuva with a understanding nod, he then extended his arm to Tim, "Let's do it together."

Tim nodded and clasped his hand with Takanuva's.

(Moments later)

For several hours, the six Toa worked at a transport for Takanuva, which was called the Ussanui, and it was build from the parts of the six Rahkshi. As Tahu and Lewa put the last pieces together, Tim and Takanuva approached them, with a purple Shadow Kraata in Takanuva's hand.

"How will this way-find Makuta?" asked Lewa.

"This vehicle is build from the parts of the Rahkshi," said Tim, gesturing his hand at the Ussanui, "creatures created by Makuta himself."

"And therefore, what is Makuta's shall return to him." said Takanuva as he placed the Shadow Kraata into a storage compartment and closed it.

Hahli then walked toward the Ussanui with Jaller's mask in her hands, "Jaller was your herald." She says in a sad tone as she placed the mask on the front of the vehicle, "Let him continue to lead you to victory."

"Well said, Hahli." Said Takanuva.

"Not much room in this transport." Said Pohatu as he examined the Ussanui, "Where will we all sit brothers?"

"Brothers?" asked Tim.

"You have proven yourself for the title of Toa." Gali explained.

Tim smiled at the six Toa, "Thanks." He says, he then looked at Pohatu, "But to answer your question, You won't."

"You shall not join us." Said Takanuva as he walked to the seat of the Ussanui.

"But united our power defeated the Rahkshi." said Pohatu, a tone of surprise in his voice.

"Certainly it will take nothing less to defeat the Makuta." Said Tahu in agreement to the Toa of Stone.

"Both Tim and I have but one destiny." Said Takanuva, "Yours lie with the Matoran and the Turaga. Gather them and wait for our return."

Takanuva then climbed onto the Ussanui, laid down on it, and placed his hands on two pads on the sides of the vehicle, which startled the engines. At the same time, Tim summoned his wings in a flash of light and flapped to get airborne, just as the Ussanui startled to levitate. The two flew up and dived into the hole in the center of the altar. They flew several feet down until they reached the bottom, they then flew through one of the tunnels in the direction of Makuta's lair, zigzagging along the way to dodge the stalagmites and stalactites that were planted in the floor and ceiling. They soon saw the door to the lair in front of them, Takanuva kept on heading toward the door before jumping off the vehicle a second before it hit the door, Takanuva backflips in the air before landing on the floor. Tim landed next to him and de-summoned his wings. They then noticed that a piece of the now broken Ussanui was moving and walked toward it. Just as Takanuva reached out for it, Hahli emerged from a secret compartment.

"Hahli!" Takanuva exclaimed in surprise.

"What are you doing here?!" Tim asked, also surprised to see the little Ga-Matoran.

"Well, I thought It's time someone was your chronicler." Said Hahli as she grabbed Jaller's mask from the wreckage.

Both Tim and Takanuva had a amused smile on their face and mask. The three then heard a sound of falling rocks and looked up to see how the upper layer of the door crumbled apart, revealing a opening to the lair.

"It's time." Said Tim.

Takanuva nodded, grabbed the Shadow Kraata, and the three then head inside Makuta's lair.
