Final Chapter, the conclusion between Naoe Yamato and Kawakami Momoyo.

Apologies for any grammar mistakes I've missed. This chapter is the longest by far, it's also really heavy on dialogue, but I suppose that's what we get for a VN.

Please enjoy and review.

Chapter 20 – Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai

The Big Five crashed through the castle's door. In the castle's interior, a girl took a stance with her katana. She had an unsure look on her face, but she was ready to attack.

"Yoshitsune," Ageha said.

"…" Yoshitsune frowned in sorrow, "Yoshitsune hates this. I don't… want to fight everyone…" she dipped her head down, "But if my foster mother Marple orders so…I don't think I have any other choice."

"Yoshitsune, please." Ageha urged, "You don't have to do this. You know it's wrong."

"I'm sorry…" Yoshitsune lamented, "But Marple has done much for Yoshitsune and the other clones." her face turned firm, "And Yoshitsune believes she must fight such a person."

"Eh that's expected of you. That conclusion is like you." Tsubame commented, "It is what it is for you huh."

"I must carry out my duties." Yoshitsune readied herself.

A cold and haunting aura seeped through the ground floor of the castle, its weight took its toll on Yoshitsune and her fingers trembled.

Naoe Yamato stepped in front of the Big Five. He clenched a fist as he stalked forward, he bared his teeth and snarled, "Then suffer for your duties. Lamb to the slaughter."

However, Yukie intercepted Yamato. "No." she drew her katana, "I, Mayuzumi Yukie, shall be your opponent. Everyone, leave her to me. I will quell my friend."

Yoshitsune dashed in, "I can't let you pass!" she swung her katana, but it was met with Yukie's sword.

"Your battle is with me, my friend!" Yukie called.

"Thank you Mayucchi!" Momoyo carried on with the rest, "We leave her to you!"

Thus, the two swordswomen clashed, till their fight brought them out of the castle and back to the front yard.

The remaining four head up the stairs till they were on an upper level.

"Be careful everyone," Ageha cautioned them, "Claudio definitely would have placed his thread traps everywhere."

Down the hallway, as they head further down, Yamato spotted the sliver.

"Shit!" Yamato leaped back as the threads in the corridor spiraled in the air, but thankfully it ensnared no one.

Ageha got in front of him and pulled a fist back, "Kuki Clan Ultimate Secret Technique, Ancient Dragon Rising Destruction!" she threw her fist out, and a force coated in bright chi shot through the threads. The strings snapped out of their coils and splattered onto the ground, rendering them useless.

When the dust cleared, more adversaries had arrived.

"Impressive, Ageha-sama." Claudio bowed, "Clearing my traps in just one blow, as expected of the Kuki Clan."

"When this is over," Ageha glared, "consider yourself dismissed from the Kuki Corporation. You and the rest of them."

"Your words cut deep admittedly Ageha-sama," Claudio nodded, "However, that is if you stop us. And you are outnumbered."

From above, in the rafters, Benkei dropped down next to Claudio. She twirled her staff before holding it in a reverse grip.

"Benkei…" Momoyo spread her legs in a stance.

Benkei sighed and leaned against her staff, "I hate this, just so everyone knows. But I got no choice."

More dropped down from above. The Liangshan Yi warriors appeared, first was Shi Jin who had her staff, "Hahaha! That four devas in the flesh, save for one! Fighting the clone downstairs eh?" she taunted. The rest came down, Lin Chong, Yang Zhi, and Wu Song.

Lin Chong poised her spear, Yang Zhi brandished her dual swords, and Wu Song coated her hands in fire.

"Such regal aura from three devas," Yang Zhi licked her lips, "I can imagine the panties you're all wearing."

"W-What?" Tsubame recoiled.

"You had to make it weird." Shi Jin eyeballed her.

Lin Chong took a step forward and pointed her spear at Yamato, "Careful, that boy has an aura I can't describe."

Yamato pointed back at them and snarled, "The Liangshan Yi warriors."

"You know us?" Shi Jin tilted her head.

"Bing Si sends his regards."

Wu Song's fist burned brighter, "You are Naoe Yamato. What have you done to Bing Si? Tell me."

"The same thing that'll happen to you if you don't stay out of my way." Yamato snarled and his hands glowed red.

"What?!" Shi Jin shouted.

Momoyo sensed one more above them. Yoichi remained in the rafters, he had his bow drawn and aimed at Yamato.

"Yoichi." Momoyo said. The male archer said nothing, but there was clear disdain on his face.

"Eh, everyone?" Tsubame voiced out, "Let's take a moment here. Everyone chill. This can just end, and you let us pass peacefully."

"We're past peace." Yamato growled with gritted teeth.

"He's right, dear Matsunaga." Claudio said. "It is long past for that."

With a flick of his wrist, his new threads were pulled behind him, ready to be used against the Big Five. The silence dragged on in the stand-off between them all. Ageha and Momoyo were bending their knees in their stances, Tsubame slowly raised her gauntlet, and Yamato's hands glowed brighter.

"Oh my god…" Ageha exhaled.

"You're done Naoe!" Shi Jin yelled and was the first to attack. She lunged at Yamato and he rolled to the side, evading her.

"Yamato!" Momoyo called out and tried to get to him, but a white blur sped into her view. Benkei caught her off-guard, she spun her staff and struck Momoyo's side.

"Ggh!" Momoyo was sent through the wall and out of the castle.

"Forgive me senpai." Benkei said and leaped through the hole to go after the defenestrated Momoyo.

Shi Jin went for Yamato again. She kept swinging her own staff at Yamato, he kept backing away to dodge until he countered the attack. When Shi Jin did an overhead slam with her staff, Yamato shifted forward diagonally and grabbed her staff. With strength Shi Jin did not anticipate, Yamato yanked Shi Jin's staff and she stumbled before receiving a headbutt into her nose.

"Argh!" Shi Jin held her nose in pain. Yamato, still holding her staff, broke her staff in two as he slammed it into his rising knee.

"You will pay for that Naoe." Yang Zhi said. Wu Song brought her hands together, creating a ball of fire. She threw it hard, but Yamato bend back, dodged the fireball, and it blew a hole behind him. Lin Chong kicked off from where she stood and in the next second, she was already in front of Yamato. She thrust her spear at him, but he stepped to the side and evade her. Lin Chong, however, followed up the attack and grabbed his hood. She made a spin in her heel and threw Yamato through the hole Wu Song had made. The rest of the Liangshan Yi warriors went after him.

Ageha charged for Claudio, the butler flex his arms, and weaves of thread were launched at Ageha. Tsubame looked up to focus on Yoichi who still had his bow drawn, she aimed her gauntlet at him, and now it was a waiting game. Ageha's wrist and ankle got ensnared by Claudio, but before the butler could make any purchase on his traps, Ageha curled her arms and legs with her strength, and she snapped the threads out of their hold on her. She was way too fast for him and she gave a hard cross. With his face smashed in, the butler slumped onto a wall and counted sheep.

With Tsubame and Yoichi, the stand-off finally broke. Yoichi released his arrow, but Hiragumo echoed a voice, "Shield."

Her gauntlet hummed and a blue translucent bubble emerged from the barrel. Yoichi's arrow collided with Tsubame's shield and it burst with the arrow repelled away. Tsubame took the chance and leaped up towards him.

"You're open!" Tsubame shouted but Yoichi jumped back with another arrow.

"Shield." Hiragumo created another blue orb around Tsubame and it burst again and Yoichi's projectile made an impact. The two landed back on the floor and they stared at each other.

"You're not really into this are you?" Tsubame pointed out.

Yoichi sulked, "I don't want this. To be a pawn of those adults with their agendas. I cannot stand it. I'm supposed to be more than that, better than that." He continued, "But I don't have a choice now. I'm forced into this. Forgive me."

"Ah, Marple is pulling your strings eh? Well, no hard feelings." Tsubame said with a sweet smile. It was a distraction, however, as she thrust her gauntlet at him before he could react. Yoichi had a sudden jolt of electricity surging through him.

"Shock!" Hiragumo's tubes burned bright yellow.

"Ahhh!" Yoichi yelled out before his body dropped onto the floor.

"You're forgiven. Take a good nap ok?" Tsubame winked.

Right at that moment, the roof caved in and Momoyo careened down with Benkei. Momoyo was holding Benkei's staff before driving both of her feet into Benkei's midsection.

"Hiyaaah!" Momoyo kicked Benkei into the floor and the clone was knocked out. Momoyo landed away and panted while catching her breath. "Good fight Benkei, but you're not going to stop me."

Back with Yamato, he got back on his feet as the four Liangshan Yi warriors advanced toward him. He took note of Yang Zhi holding one sword in reverse and she launched herself at him.

"Tonfa Kick!" She yelled. Yamato bent backward as Yang Zhi shot past him. He rolled to the side and repositioned himself.

"That's Margit Eberbach's move," Yamato said. "So, mimicry huh?"

"You know me huh? Let's see what you got, perhaps I'll copy your moves while you're at it hehe." Yang Zhi replied. "You'll regret messing with the Liangshan Yi."

Lin Chong, Shi Jin, and Wu Song inched closer to corner the boy. The pyromancer was the first to attack.

"Take this!" Wu Song had a stream of fire onto Yamato. The Naoe raised his red glowing hands up and blocked the fire's path. Yamato pushed forward and ran, the fire did nothing to him while his aura is up.

"Impossible!" Wu Song shrieked as Yamato lashed out to grab her hands and her fire died out. Her moment of surprise was short-lived when a knee was driven into her gut, and Yamato threw her into Shi Jin.

"Argh!" The two crashed into the floor.

"I'm ending this!" Lin Chong charged at him. She kept stabbing her spear at him and he kept on dodging her attacks. From the side, Yang Zhi brought her hands together and a blue ball of aura was formed. In his periphery, Yamato spotted it, but that split second of distraction earned him a kickback from Lin Chong and he slammed into a wall.

"Kawakami Style!" Yang Zhi shouted and she unleashed her mimicked move on him, "Star Obliterator!"

A blue beam of chi energy came at him, but Yamato raised his hands and caught the beam. The red glow in his hands got brighter and the beam did not move him an inch.

(Enough fucking around!) The Eyes of the Oni returned. The beam suddenly dissipated in the air.

"What the?! Impossible! What happened?!" Yang Zhi exclaimed in shock. Right after, they all felt the presence of a demon, a chill swept through them followed by an immense pain they have never felt before.

"How can he be still standing?! It's impossible! Ah! What is this?" Lin Chong groaned as her legs trembled along with Yang Zhi. Shi Jin, back on her feet, had the worst headache she ever had. Wu Song could not ignite her hands anymore, she threw her fist at him again, but there was no fire.

"Reeeeaaarhh…" Yamato growled from the back of his throat. Yamato stalked forward and the blood of the demon in him intensified.

Fear seeped into everyone one of them, all they could see were the Eyes of the Oni.

"Ahhh!" Shi Jin plopped back onto the floor, followed by Wu Song, and they both writhed in pain. Lin Chong tried, she legs were jelly and she tumbled towards him. The demon snarled and grabbed her collar, before making throwing her over his head and slamming her into the floor.

The pain in all of them was too much, their limbs weighed down on them and their bodies burned in immense agony. All they could is suffer to the extreme.

The demon turned to Yang Zhi, he dashed forward.

"Gargh! Ah!" Yang Zhi choked a cough once the demon got his hand at her throat.

Yamato gripped tighter on Yang Zhi's throat and forced her to look into his red monstrous eyes.

"Mimic this." The demon's aura grow larger. It could not be done; Yang Zhi was depowered and she could not copy a power that was meant to stop anyone from using their own power. She could not copy him as his powers kept disabling her own. It was a power that Yang Zhi could not circumvent.

"Ahh!" Yang Zhi cried.

"Remember what I told you if you get in my way." Yamato hissed and drove his fist into Yang Zhi's gut. Yang Zhi's eyes went wide before they rolled back into her sockets and her vision faded. Yamato released her and let out a rageful roar.

"Raaaaarrrggghhhh!"

"Yamato!" he heard Ageha calling for him.

"Over here!" he called back, his eyes and hands turned normal. "They're down!"

"Find a way up! We'll meet up there!"

He got to another set of stairs and dashed up to higher levels. He could sense his prey, so close now. Sweat rolled down his back, his heart hammered as he rushed upwards.

(I'm finishing this. Mom. Dad. They'll suffer for what they've done.)

Up top, there were only four left. Koi was tasked with guarding the prisoners. Xiang Yu, who would gladly take on the Big Five and crush them. Finally, Hyumu and Marple.

Yamato got to the top of the stairs. Opposite him, the rest got up as well and he rendezvoused with them.

"Let's go." Ageha took the lead.

Momoyo got close to Yamato, "You ok?"

He breathed hard and nodded, "You?"

"Mhm."

The Big Five got to the door, and Ageha drew them open. Beyond the door was a Japanese-themed hallway. One side had four prison cells. Students from 2-F, 2-S, the Kuki family, and the remaining students and teachers from Kawakami Academy.

"Ageha!" Tsubone was surprised to see her daughter arriving.

"Nee-chan!" Monshiro cheered. The rest of the prisoners cheered on as well.

Koi stood there with a frown, "Kh…how can this be?" he got into a fighting stance. "I'll do whatever it takes. I must realize Marple's vision. Then I can use her technology to clone and revive my mo-"

"Get the fuck out of my way!" Yamato bellowed, he lunged and drove a fist into the side of Koi's face, followed by another fist into his gut. The rest of the Big Five and the prisoners got front row seats to the brutal battering the Demon had enacted. Yamato grabbed the mother-obsessed butler by his collar and threw him.

Monshiro let out a little shriek as Koi hit the prison bars of her cell and was knocked out. Yamato let out a snarl before dashing for the other side. As he reached for it, however, with lightning speed, the door was blown into bits. Hyumu, in a flying kick through the door, connected his boot to Yamato's face.

"Naaarggh!" Yamato was knocked off his feet. Hyumu followed up his attack and grabbed Yamato's ankle, he yanked Yamato and slammed him onto the floor on his chest. Hyumu reached for Yamato's hood and threw him upwards.

"Ahh!" Yamato crashed through the ceiling and landed on the roof. The storm did not let out, the roof had a coat of rainwater and it soaked Yamato. Hyumu jumped up high into through the hole and went after Yamato.

"Yamato!" Momoyo shouted with wide eyes. But she could not go to help Yamato when the last opponent. The immense aura was so tangible as Xiang Yu stepped in with her Halberd.

"You all think you managed to come up here on your own strength? No, I let you pass." Xiang Yu smirked.

"Ohhh, here comes the big boss." Tsubame shuddered.

"You three, the most promising of the bunch, are here to challenge me? Ahah!" Xiang Yu pointed her halberd at them. "Come then! Entertain me!"

"Here's the thing Xiang Yu! I'm not here for you!" Momoyo spat back. "I'm here to avenge all those who suffered from this mess!"

"Hey uh…" Tsubame tried stalling, "I have a suggestion. How about-"

"Insolent wretch! I'll show you, Goddess of battles!" Xiang Yu yelled and sped in. Her fist connected to Momoyo's own fist and she felt the sheer strength of the Chinese General.

Xiang Yu taunted, "I sense something different about you Goddess of battles. What happ-" she could not finish her sentence when Ageha dashed to the side with a spinning kick. Xiang Yu lifted her knee and blocked Ageha's kick before making a roundhouse kick to knock her down. But that moment of distraction was what Momoyo needed, she grabbed Xiang Yu's wrist and pulled hard. She used her other arm to push down Xiang Yu's elbow and got her into an arm bar and kick the back of her heel, causing her to flip in the air falling flat on her face.

"Agh!" Xiang Yu grunted, "What move was that?!"

"Something Yamato showed me." Momoyo said. "Get her Tsubame!"

"Toh!" Tsubame charged up her gauntlet and it echoed, "Shock! Poison!"

Xiang Yu jolted about in pain as Hiragumo struck her repeatedly all over with electricity and poison. The clone powered through with her strength and knocked Tsubame back with a flurry of strikes.

"You little worm! Taking cheap shots!" Xiang Yu shouted but Momoyo came in.

Momoyo leaped up and was perched on Xiang Yu's shoulder, catching her by surprise.

"What the hell?!" Xiang Yu yelped as Momoyo stayed on her shoulders, "Get off me! Insolent wretch! What are you doing?!"

Momoyo had one hand over Xiang Yu's eyes, it was making Xiang Yu look stupid, "I can't see! You insolent fool!" Momoyo's other hand gripped Xiang Yu's chin and pulled which tipped Xiang Yu's balance.

"Whoa!" Xiang Yu was falling backward and Momoyo capitalized on the moment, she leaped off Xiang Yu's head and, while holding onto her head and slammed it onto the floor.

"Ahh!" Xiang Yu groaned.

"Another move courtesy of Yamato." Momoyo said.

Xiang Yu did not have a second to recover when Ageha came in. "Kuki Clan Ultimate Secret Technique, Ancient Dragon Rising Destruction!" she threw her fist out, and a force coated in bright chi impacted Xiang Yu and she bounced off the floor.

"You're wide open! Max voltage punch!" Tsubame shouted Hiragumo scored a direct hit on Seiso in the air.

"Kawakami style! Star Obliterator!" Momoyo brought her hands together and energy formed. She unleashed her energy beam and it pushed the Hegemon down into the floor. "Haaaahhh!" Momoyo did not stop and the beam pushed Seiso through the floor and her consciousness slowly fade.

The three devas took a moment to catch their breaths, standing over the knocked-out Seiso.

"Geez," Tsubame rubbed her bruised midsection, "she really packs a punch. It really hurts."

Meanwhile, Yamato, on the rooftop, groggily got up to his feet. His head was ringing after the kick Hyumu gave him. A bead of blood at the corner of his lips rolled down to his chin.

"Naoe." Hyumu landed on the roof. "I must say, I am astounded you are still conscious and standing."

Yamato panted and his heart pounded against the sternum. He wiped the blood on his chin and stared back at Hyumu under the torrential downpour. The sound of whirring blades got their attention. Yamato looked up, there was a news helicopter flying over them. He could barely see a newswoman and a cameraman was zooming his camcorder onto the roof.

Unintentionally, Yamato showed his face to the camera for a moment, before pulling his hood back over his head.

"Hyumu." Yamato growled.

"Heh. I am an old man who has been through youth already, but I have yet to battle anyone who could match me in strength." Hyumu said, "I was supposed to have a battle between me and Momoyo. But something changed. It had something to do with you."

"…" Yamato stayed silent and continued to stare at Hyumu.

"You are different." Hyumu said, "You rescued Momoyo's parents, beaten down high-ranking Kuki servants, you freed your tower from our raid, you took down our entire Liangshan Yi fighters, and you're still standing after the beatdown I gave you. How is it so?"

"You know where this all started." Yamato snarled.

Hyumu sighed, "Ah yes, of course. If it is worth anything, you have my condolences. I had no prior knowledge about what Marple planned for your parents, none of us did."

"You don't get to talk about them."

"Ah, right." Hyumu exhaled, "The hot anger of a young man. I've seen it too many times in my battles. But you understand nothing."

"…" Yamato said nothing.

"I am duty-bound to the Kuki corporation. I can appreciate the well-founded anger in you," Hyumu made a huff, "but your tantrum is at an end."

"…"

"I may not have a battle with Momoyo, but now I want to see the strength that gave you so many accomplishments."

Yamato pointed at him, "I don't care what you want."

"Hmm, too bad for you then." Hyumu said. In a split second, Yamato saw the attack. By an inch, Yamato dodged a kick from Hyumu. Yamato could not dodge the second attack and received a punch to the chest.

"Argh!" Yamato was knocked to the other end of the roof. Yamato looked up and rolled away from Hyumu ax kick. Yamato took the chance and lunged, he pinned Hyumu down.

"What the?!" Hyumu was surprised, he was almost shocked at his own emotion. But the legendary butler could not take a second to process as Yamato pounded his fists onto Hyumu's face. A fling of spittle escaped his mouth as Yamato threw another punch.

Hyumu reached and grabbed Yamato's head and pulled hard before using his other arm and elbowing the side of Yamato's face. He planted a heel into Yamato's gut and launched him off to the other side of the roof again. Yamato landed flat on his back and he groaned in pain, his mouth bled.

"I actually felt that. I won't take you lightly this time." Hyumu got up and rubbed his chin. "In fact, let's see how you stack up as I dial it up to eleven."

Yamato's muscles burned as he got onto one knee. A bright light got his attention and turned to Hyumu. He had his hands together forming a giant ball of blue spiritual energy far bigger than anything he had seen. He had not even seen Momoyo forming this kind of attack before.

However, something pulsed in Yamato, his vision was seeing red. In his mind, the images of the Kagekiyo and Saki appeared.

(You know what you are…)

Hyumu dashed with lightning speed and was about to slam the ball of blue spiritual energy. Yamato's hand went red, darker than ever. As did his eyes.

Yamato raised a hand and penetrated through the energy and caught Hyumu's fist. The blue ball of spirit energy from Hyumu dissipated. The legendary butler's eyes went wide, his jaw hung, and agony was seeping into his hand.

"It is you who understands nothing." The Demon's voice was low and almost guttural. He rose up to his full height, holding Hyumu's fist and pouring his dreaded power into Hyumu.

"Feel it in your bones." The demon snarled.

"W-What?" Hyumu was stammering. An intense fever was spreading through his entire body.

"That's fear." Yamato said. Hyumu tried to throw another punch but Yamato knocked it away with his other hand and even more pain spread through the butler. Hyumu had to look into the Eyes of the Oni.

"You think nothing can match you, you think that makes you brave." The Demon tightened his grip on Hyumu, the butler was starting to feel it.

"I-Impossible!" Hyumu voiced out.

"But you don't know bravery. Because you don't know fear." Yamato bared his teeth. In a swift motion, he lashed forward and grabbed Hyumu by the throat. He pulled Hyumu down to his height so Hyumu could gaze to those demonic red eyes.

"I'll give you a lesson of fear."

Hyumu's nose got smashed from a headbutt from Yamato, the attack followed up with a backhand which got Hyumu stumbling back before Yamato did a kick into his chest. Yamato stalked forward, the aura kept on the assault. Amidst the storm, Yamato was a monster walking with red eyes. Hyumu's body was having the worst fever and pain he had ever felt in his entire life.

Yamato did another cross on Hyumu's face and the butler stumbled back, followed by another, and another. He kept at it and every punch boomed like thunder in the storm. Yamato drove a fist into his stomach, Hyumu gagged and doubled over. But his face would not hit the roof as Yamato grabbed the back of Hyumu's collar and pants.

With a feral roar, Yamato lifted Hyumu high over his head. Behind him, there was a flash of lightning and a crack of thunder quickly followed.

On the ground field, the front liners and defenders, who had taken down their forces, saw Yamato holding Hyumu over his head by the edge of the roof.

"Raaaarghhhhh!" Yamato bellowed and threw Hyumu. The butler plummeted down and cratered into the ground, everyone got to watch the wrath of that is Naoe. In the helicopter, the cameraman focused on Naoe Yamato standing triumphant on the roof.

Back with Momoyo, Tsubame, Ageha, and the prisoners, lights around dimmed, and the prison cell doors opened.

In the basement, Azumi, Lee, and Takuya were by the castle's mainframe terminal. At their feet laid a platoon of fallen rebel servants. Takuya input the key command in the computer that did the trick and the lights around went dim.

"Operation castle shut down, success!" Takuya said.

"Well done." Lee added.

"Alright step aside," Azumi instructed Takuya, she pulled out a tanto and stabbed it into the keyboard, rendering the controls permanently damaged. "Let's get up to the ground floor and aid the rest." Azumi instructed.

Back on the top floor, the prisoners, who had watched the three devas defeating Xiang Yu, cheered on as the heroes' victory is at hand.

"Everyone get out of here now!" Ageha ordered, "We're going to put a stop to all this!"

Students from class 2-F and 2-S cheered as they made their exit.

"Nee-chan!" Monshiro rushed over and embraced Ageha. "Nee-chan!"

Ageha knelt down and hugged Monshiro back before prying herself off her, "Monshiro, go with mother. And get everyone out."

"I wanna stay and help you."

"Monshiro, go with everyone else and tend to the injured."

"Marple needs to answer for her crimes."

"No, get out of here. It's not Marple I'm worried about now." Ageha urged her and looked up to the hole in the ceiling. The shroud of black zoomed through the ceiling hole, Yamato landed on the floor, and rolled back onto his feet. The Big Five felt the coldness Yamato exuded with his red eyes and hands.

"Hyumu's down." Yamato said.

Tsubame and Momoyo kept their shock hidden. Ageha then said, "Prisoners are freed. Now it's Marple. She must be just beyond the entrance that Hyumu and Seiso broke through."

They got through, and sure enough, Marple was there seated by a bunch of monitors that were off since Takuya shut down the castle.

"Marple…" Yamato seethed.

"You…" Momoyo added.

"Welp, you're caught." Tsubame shrugged.

Ageha took another step forward, "Surrender."

Marple remained in her seat, "You made it this far I see."

"I said surrender," Ageha clenched a fist, "I won't tell you again."

"All this waste, Ageha-sama. You have set the Kuki Corporation into ruin. We could have seen through and fulfil the Kuki Corporation's goal; the world. Now look at all of this, destroyed."

"Enough. You are the one who started everything, this is all on you." Ageha said, "Your forces are beaten. It's just you left, don't try anything else."

"What makes you think it's just me left?" Marple asked.

There was bang, it echoed through the castle. Momoyo and the rest covered their ringing ears, but Yamato was on the floor. He yelled in pain and clutched his right shoulder which now had a hole and blood leaked profusely.

"Yamato!" Momoyo screamed and got to him.

Tsubame raised Hiragumo up, "Shield!" Tsubame conjured a blue bubble shield around her with the rest.

Behind the monitors, there was a trail of smoke followed by the scent of black powder. The shooter kept her pistol pointed at them while she walked around the monitors to reveal herself. She was in a peculiar maid outfit and she had a cybernetic eye.

"Mimori Saki?" Ageha was shocked. "It was you?!"

"Argh! You!" Yamato's eyes were completely irate, his breathing erratic. "You're the one!"

"And you're the one I saw when it happened." Mimori Saki raised a brow. "You're the boy who survived."

"Saki," Ageha still could not process it, "we saved you when you got injured in the JSDF. We helped you."

"Marple was the one who restored me. I am fulfilling my debt. Which has come to this." The assassin said, her tone hinting nothing.

"And I warned you of the destruction Naoe would bring Ageha-sama." Marple said, "The power to wipe us all out in a rageful whim. Do you now see why I had to do it? It was for all of us. To keep my children and the Kuki's future safe as according to plan."

"Marple. It's over." Yet another voice entered the fray, a male voice this time. Ageha and Tsubame turned to see who it was. A silver-haired man with an X on his forehead.

"Father?" Ageha asked. "Where did you come from?"

"Kuki Mikado?" Tsubame tilted her head.

"Mikado-sama?" Marple greeted, "This is an unexpected visit."

Mikado had a disappointed look on his face. "I had to come back after the broadcast. Marple. It's over. I'm ordering you to surrender. You've taken this venture way out of what I intended."

"What?" Ageha could not believe what she heard, "Father?! You orchestrated all this?!"

Mikado closed his eyes and lamented, "It wasn't like that. When Marple told me she wanted to bring the clones and the Kuki Corporation to greater heights, while challenging the people in Kawakami City to push themselves to further heights, I was in agreement, because I wanted to see the future generation's potential. I told you to push the clones and the Kuki Corporation into prosperity." Mikado's voice then turned fierce. "I've never told you to go and carry out an assassination and have a boy orphaned!"

Marple had to swallow after that teardown.

"And now the Kuki Corporation has failed," Mikado had a weight in his chest, "It failed because I trusted you. Because of my poor judgment. It's over Marple."

"Fuck that!" Yamato bellowed. His red eyes and hands returned, and his aura burst through the entire room.

Pain hit everyone inside and the strengths in their legs were waning. Yamato rushed for Mimori Saki. She could not react in time due to the pain in her body. Yamato gripped the pistol and sent a fist across Saki's face. He pulled the gun out of her hand and struck her head with it. She dropped onto her knees, her head bled, and Yamato pointed the firearm at her temple.

"You fucking piece of shit!" Yamato yelled.

"Yamato-kun! No!" Tsubame, in shock, brought her hand to her mouth.

"Yamato don't!" Ageha shouted. The demon faced them and yelled out as his aura took its toll on them. Tsubame felt the cold piercing into her inside, she winced and held her side, her gauntlet felt so heavy. Ageha had the cold in her as well, she could not make any advance.

"You fucking killed them! You fucking…" Yamato turned back to Mimori Saki and pulled the hammer of the pistol, the dead faces of his parents filled his mind. Saki, still in too much pain, could only freeze and look at the demon's eyes. She was ready to accept her due.

"Yamato."

Now he finally heard her.

"Yamato, please listen to me. Look at me Yamato."

The red in his eyes disappeared, and tears were welling up. Yamato drifted his gaze to her, Momoyo.

"Look at me Yamato." Momoyo slowly inched closer to him. "Stay with me Yamato."

(Do not lose that love,)

(It's about your life ok? Your life.)

(You're my best friend Yamato. And I love you.)

(You know what you are…)

Tears rolled down, Yamato kept his gaze on Momoyo, the two locked their eyes on each other for what felt like an hour. Every time he stared at her, there was something stirring. Even behind all that rage, behind that inner demon, he remembered. Yamato still loved Momoyo.

By then, he had already turned on the pistol's safety and it slipped through his fingers, before clanging on the floor. He placed one hand on his bullet wound and grunted as he applied pressure. Momoyo gently wrapped her own arm around his waist and held him up for support. Ageha, Tsubame, and Mikado took the chance to apprehend Marple and Saki; neither of them had any strength in them to flee or fight, not after Yamato's aura rendered them incapacitated. They were escorted out.

It was over.

Yamato was about to take his leave, but his legs were slowly turning into jelly, he could not move.

"Yamato?" Momoyo asked in concern.

The Naoe's breathing was getting shaky. Tears were on his face and his eyes were bloodshot. He dropped his knees and his head dipped down.

"Raaaahhhhh!" Yamato roared out and his dam of tears broke. "Mom…dad…"

"Yamato!" Momoyo instantly dropped down to his side and held him close. The two remained in the darkness as the boy was finally able to grieve with the girl staying by his side.

Monday arrived. The Kuki Corporation, even as the giant conglomerate it is, had to take responsibility and public backlash on an international scale.

Kuki Mikado had to relinquish his title as head of the company, and Kuki Ageha had to take over. She had to take a firm stand on the rebellion.

The clones were allowed to continue their lives in school. However, strict monitoring measures will be implemented. Every rebel servant had to go, even Claudio and Hyumu. The Itagaki Siblings were paid their dues, whatever quarrel they had was done. The Liangshan Yi was sent back to China. For Marple and Mimori Saki, there was no helping them. They had been sent to the government to be sorted out.

Kuki Ageha made a vow, that this will never happen again. The Kuki Corporation must start amending if hay any hope of regaining its position, and it will start with Naoe Holdings.

In Kawakami Academy, things have calmed momentarily, except for Naoe Yamato, particularly when the footage from the news chopper came out. Word spread that Yamato got the highest number of achievements amongst everyone who defended Kawakami City.

He rescued Momoyo's parents, he saved his tower, he fought as a member of the Big Five, and he took down the entire Liangshan Yi forces, Hellsing Hyumu, Mimori Saki, and Marple.

Every class got to watch in their respective classroom television.

The news commentator, Ana Yukihiro, narrated, "Despite the storm, despite the chaos, we've managed to pull footage of what appears to be a battle on the rooftop of Kawakami Castle. We were really lucky to capture a spectacular and terrifying moment."

The screen showed the Kawakami Castle's roof. Yamato burst through the tiles and landed flat on his chest.

"It's one of the heroes from Kawakami Academy that charged into the castle to free those trapped inside." Yukihiro said, "He has taken a beating but he is not out."

Hyumu leaped through the hole of the roof and landed hard just as Yamato groggily got back onto his feet. The camera zoomed in on Yamato looking into the camera with blood on his chin, before pulling his hood overhead to hide his face. Yamato stared right into Hyumu with a glare.

"And it is Hellsing Hyumu, the legendary butler who had won every battle in his time. Such an intense stand-off, both staring at each other. One can almost touch the tension." Yukihiro commented in the tv.

In a split second, Hyumu and Yamato were engaging in their battle. Yamato took a nasty hit but he lunged and pinned Hyumu down and was pummelling him. Quickly after, Hyumu knocked him off.

"What feat of endurance. The hooded hero held his own against the butler but now it seems it will not go well for him." Yukihiro commented. "Look, Hyumu is making his attack. A big one at that."

Yamato was on one knee after the blows he had taken. Hyumu formed a ball of spirit energy, he dashed for Yamato with his attack, but the demon raised a hand and caught Hyumu's fist through the energy ball.

"It's incredible! He blocked his attack with one hand!" Yukihiro exclaimed.

The footage then showed Yamato stalking forward and throwing punches at Hyumu left and right. Then Yamato drove a fist into Hyumu's gut before grabbing the back of his collar and pants, and he lifted Hyumu over his head. With a flash of lightning and a crack of thunder, Yamato threw Hyumu over the castle. Yamato roared into the storm.

"Wah! Look at that battle cry! The legendary martial artist who has never lost was beaten! The hooded hero is triumphant!" Yukihiro cheered.

At Kawakami Academy, everyone watched the footage.

In class 2-F, people cheered.

"Whoo!" Shoichi whooped.

Takuya was taken aback. "Yamato beat Hyumu! He actually beat him!"

"Yeah, we all saw it on the ground," Tadakatsu said.

"Out of everyone they filmed, they could only get footage of him…" Gakuto shrugged his shoulders.

"Go Yamato!" Kazuko pumped his fists.

"He's beaten Momo-senpai, Hyumu, the Liangshan Yi warriors, and Marple. Saying that's impressive is an understatement." Christiane pointed out.

Miyako quietly said, "Yamato, well done and congrats."

In class 1-C, one swordswoman smiled in contentment.

"My battle with Yoshitsune-san was truly enlightening. It is peaceful now isn't it, Matsukaze?"

She held up Matsukaze, "Yes, it is. And Yamato-san was a badass on screen."

In class 3-F, Tsubame watched the television. She had a finger to her lip.

"Uwah! Yamato-kun actually beat Hyumu. So, he really did beat Momoyo," Tsubame said, "Oh well. I'm still glad for you Yamato-kun, you've avenged your parents. On the upside, everyone helped in the fight also gained a reputation boost, fufufu."

To the rest of Kawakami Academy, they had mixed feelings. On one hand, they were grateful that Yamato had aided in the freedom of the city, even garnering the nickname 'Hooded Hero'. On the other, it was frightening that Yamato acted so beastly, menacingly, and almost monstrous. Kawakami Academy will have to get used to it; this Yamato is a different person.

Everyone was going on about the heroes who saved Kawakami City. Students went to class 2-F to see the Kazama Family. They crowded outside the classroom. The Kazama Family basked in their new fame, but one was missing inside the classroom. The spectators felt a presence on the other side of the hallway. They turned and there he was; Naoe Yamato walked down the hallway. He wore his black hoodie like a cape and he had his wounded arm in a sling. There were gasps around the students when they saw the 'Hooded Hero'.

Entering the classroom, Shoichi called to Yamato.

"Hey, Yamato!" Shoichi said, "How's the arm?"

"In a sling," Yamato answered. "What's with the crowd?"

"The news footage Yamato," Takuya pointed at the television. Yamato frowned watching the footage being replayed on screen.

"Just what I need." Yamato sighed. The rest of the Kazama Family smirked, and he could feel their knowing smirks on him.

"Smirk." Miyako said it out loud.

"You really beat Hyumu!" Kazuko was happy for him.

"I'm astonished," Chris said, "you've held your own to stand alongside the Big Four. It's really is the Big Five now."

"Nice going, 'Hooded Hero'. Haha." Gakuto snickered.

"Ugh." Yamato rolled his eyes.

His pocket vibrated and he took out his phone. It was a message from Yui.

"Hello Yamato,

You attending school right now? You better be haha. Gotta keep up the image of the owner of Naoe Holdings.

The company has been getting plenty of notice from the public, considering you are like the hero who saved the tower and fought alongside Kuki Ageha to save the city. You've really boosted Naoe Holdings' position in the world. Your parents would have been proud without any doubt. I know I am.

You be good now boy you hear me?

We'll meet up again soon :)

Yui."

After reading the message could hear Umeko-sensei sending the crowd away and the class had to resume.

Later and school had ended.

Yamato was on his own and sat by the riverside. The sun was setting and it cast an orange hue across the city, Yamato watched the water flowing with shiny ripples. His mind was on a journey, thinking about his parents, his company, his powers, and his victory with Kuki Ageha over the Kuki rebels. He avenged his parents, those who wronged everyone got their justice, he got his vengeance. He could start living again, a person with a new direction. He is Naoe Yamato, the Demon, the owner of Naoe Holdings, the man who moved the country.

Yamato also had another thought, Kawakami Momoyo. Earlier, she called him and told him to meet her here by the riverside. Thus, here he was waiting for her.

"Yamato."

He turned his head, Momoyo was there and she sat next to him.

"Nee-san." Yamato greeted.

"Did I make you wait?"

"No, it's ok."

"Say uh, you're getting a reputation everywhere."

"Hmm."

"It's been uh...quite the week. We did it didn't we?"

"...yeah."

"It is um, as you say, done." Momoyo took a brave breath and turned her body to face him, "Yamato?"

"Yes?" Yamato noticed her shifting and he did the same.

"I need to talk to you." Momoyo got up to her feet, she held out a hand for him. With his good hand, he took hers, and Momoyo helped him up. But she did not let go, she continued to hold his hand.

"You have the ring on," Yamato noted.

"Ah," Momoyo lifted her other hand, her ring fitting nicely on her finger. Now she took his hand with both of hers.

"Listen Yamato," Momoyo took a deep breath.

"Huh?"

"These two weeks really did some changes for us." Momoyo said, "I know you're going through a lot, and I will be there for you. But I cannot let this wait for too long, I realised that now."

Momoyo bit her lip before taking the push, "Do you remember all the other things we did a few months back. The date at Nanahama, the festival, the trip to the beach with the others? You remember those don't you?"

Yamato had a subtle smile on the corner of his lips. "They were good memories."

"Yeah, they were. I really had fun with you." Momoyo said and he nodded.

She then asked, "Remember what we promised to each other in your office? That we start over?"

He nodded, "Yes."

"There is something else I need to talk to you about." Momoyo lifted her head to look him in the eye. "What we are to each other; Buddies, best friends, siblings, there are many ways to describe the relationship we have for the past seven years."

She got a little closer, "But I don't want any distance between us anymore. I've finally realized my own feelings, and I should have been serious about it then, especially when you were serious about yours."

The two locked eyes on each other before she finally asked.

"Yamato, do you still love me?" Momoyo's heart was pounding, her guts were twisted up, and she held onto hope.

Yamato, firm and tall, looked to the sunset, a gentle wind breezed through them.

Yamato then said, "You know uh...for the past two weeks since my parents died, I've been telling myself 'You know what you are.' to focus on what I wanted." he took a deep breath, "And what I was in those weeks, with the power I've gotten, was nothing but an angry mess that must have his revenge. I probably am still an angry mess now, even after the revenge is over." there was a brief somber look on his face as he dipped his head down.

"Yamato..." Momoyo bit her lip.

He continued, "But what my parents told me about you stayed in my mind. They told me not to lose that love, but don't let it consume me. That it's about my life." There was a subtle chuckle from him, almost inaudible, "Then you kept on involving yourself with me, even when I'm just an angry mess, and it got really heated between us. But then we cleared things up, it gave me a reminder, and now underneath it all, I'll always remember."

"R-Remember what?" Momoyo took heart to ask. The gentle wind continued to flow under the glowing sky.

Yamato looked at her in her eyes, "That I still love you. And I'll always love you."

Momoyo's cheeks were dusted pink. Her heart jumped and warmth filled her, she could not help the smile on her face, "A-Ah. Y-You, you love me. Fufu."

She quickly composed herself and gently squeezed his hand. "Then I shall tell you as well. Yamato, I love you. And I'm asking you formally. Please go out with me."

"..!" Even when Yamato was anticipating it, Momoyo's confession was so surprising.

"I know that it's very sudden at this timing for you, and I'm aware that I do not know much other than fighting. But I need to ask before the chance slips away from me again. I want us to be together and we can be happy. So Yamato, would you like to go out with me?"

"Yes," Yamato had no control over the grin on his face. "Yeah, yeah I do."

Momoyo could not help the big smile on her face. Her arms were wide, ready to give a tight embrace.

"W-Whoa hang on." Yamato held a hand up before pointing to his injury.

"Oh. Right." Momoyo chuckled, then she slowly got to his side and wrapped her arms around his neck, and brought him to her in a soothing hug while avoiding the wound, and he got his arm around her waist to hug her back.

"I love you Yamato."

"I love you Momoyo." the two continued hugging and felt each other's bodies.

Until Momoyo cupped his cheeks and leaned forward, her soft lips melted into his.

There was no lie anymore, this was the beautiful truth between them. Naoe Yamato and Kawakami Momoyo truly loved each other.

Momoyo gently pulled her lips away from Yamato so she could look into his eyes with a loving smile.

"Let's get to know each other properly this time, ok Yamato?" Momoyo asked.

"Yeah." Their days together are going to start.

"You'll love me seriously, Yamato. Push forward. Fufu." Momoyo cupped his cheeks again.

"Same to you, Momoyo." Yamato nodded.

"Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai."

To those who have provided feedback and ideas, huge thanks to you all.

The Majikoi franchise is very important to me so I had to focus on finishing this story before tending to my fanfics (sorry Sharpe).

I may or may not add an after-story summary, but for now, 'Yamato V Momoyo - Beautiful Lie' has come to an end.

Thank you again everyone.
