Chapter Ten: "Bad Memories, Mud and Rain Drops"

"With the power of all these worlds. I'll take Magix in no time." Valtor said amusedly, as he glanced at the translucent map of the Magical Dimension that showed each single planet that he'd managed to conquer and steal their magical sources.

"Wrong." Bloom spoke determinedly. Her blue eyes lit with utter fury upon the man who had the audacity of putting the entire witches of Cloud Tower under his mark and Headmistress Griffin locked away within the school.

The dark wizard turned on his heels to see to his delight three fairies. Two girls were in their final fairy form, Enchantix, as they were ready to charge at him with their newly founded powers.

Valtor smirked. He had unleashed his spell directly at Musa and Flora, instantly sending both fairies flying back, hitting the hard, concrete wall.

Bloom's eyes narrowed as she focused on summoning her magical energy upon the dark sorcerer who had managed in more than one ways to destroy her life. Inflict absolute pain. Absolute rage had burned within her chest, as she allowed the magic to course throughout her entire body.

"Dragon Fury!"

Unexpectedly, Valtor had been hit with Bloom's powerful spell, sending him flying back to the tall window. The window had cracked due to the intense force. The man had let out a painful groan. Although there was a spark of admiration in his pale eyes, as he let out a deep chuckle.

"You are powerful Bloom, just like Marion."

Bloom's blood had ran cold upon hearing those words enter her ears.

The redhead girl was startled. Her entire body had went rigid.

"What?" the fairy's voice was barely audible.

The red-blond-haired wizard smirked as he fell to his feet again, regaining his composure. He looked upon the young fairy. Color had drained from her face. Valtor knew he had struck a nerve. His white teeth gleamed. "Your birthmother, the Queen of Domino."

"My birthmother? How do you know about her?" Bloom spat in full rage, shooting the wizard before a nasty glare that could instantly kill. Her hands turning into fists balls.

Valtor's gaze is still on her but he kept talking to her as the wizard had found their conversation gripping. He enjoyed the sight of seeing the princess getting all provoked by his mere words. It was infuriating Bloom to no end and the wizard had relished it. "I defeated her."

He took a few steps closer to the Dominian princess. Seeing the horror cross the fairy's face, as he spoke those despicable words, it'd entertained him. "Your birthparents, Oritel and Marion formed the Company of Light. A group of powerful wizards, fairies, and warriors who fought to save the Magic Dimension."

"Magic bass boom!" Musa fluttered angrily, blasting the spell directly at the dark wizard. But to the blue-haired fairy's horror, he had manage to deflect such a powerful spell as if it hadn't affected him at all.

"I recently visited a planet where the magic was all about silence. Let me show you a little spell I took from them." Valtor spoke venomously, trapping the fairy within the magical silencing sphere as she struggled to use her magic.

"Luxuriant Ivy!" Flora cried out. Thick green ivy had erupted from the ground, heading in the direction where Valtor stood across from the nature fairy but he had easily waved his hand, instantly slashing the vines with his magic.

A sinister smile formed on his lips, as he approached the fairy of nature.

"For you some magic from the cave dwellers of the under realm. They like total darkness. . ." Flora was covered in a translucent greenish barrier that surrounded her entire body as it had diminished any light source, thus weakening her magic. ". . .not much can survive long without any light, right?"

Once Valtor had spun on his heels, he gladly took the opportunity to taunt Bloom about her friends' fate. The pale wizard was greeted with several fireballs that were hurled his way. Although the man had dodged several of Bloom's blazing fireballs.

"So do you want to fight or do you want to hear about your parents?" Valtor smiled cruelly at the girl who was seething in rage. But it appeared to the dark wizard that he had struck her with such words.

Bloom froze in her place entirely. She couldn't help but hear the wizard out. To cling onto the information that regarded her parents, despite the fact that she had wanted to inflict serious amount of injuries for endangering her and her friends countless of times. But still hesitation flickered in her eyes.

"I'm listening," Bloom finally agreed.

Valtor had pursed his lips together. "I met Marion and Oritel when I was a young wizard with the coven of the three witches. I was their opponent during their final battles."

The redhead princess had watched as the dark wizard before her had summoned his memory out to display in front of her, as he gleamed in absolute wickedness over sharing the demise of Marion and Oritel with Bloom.

Fear had filled Bloom's heart, as she had witnessed her beloved mother being dragged down into the earth by large chunks of rocky hands that made it impossible for Marion to use her own magic. Valtor had gloated over his spell usage upon the Queen of Domino. Eagerness had gleamed in his pale eyes.

"King Oritel had came to her rescue, as I knew he would. Your birthfather was very powerful. I never would have defeated him had he not lowered his guard to save your mother."

The girl continued to watch as Oritel had sprinted off to save his wife from Valtor's dark magic as she was continuing to descend into the earth, slowly vanishing from the face of the world. The king had stabbed his sword into the ground, using his magic to dismantle the boulders of rocks.

"And so it happened that while he was using his magic to save his beloved. I used my magic and sent them both to Oblivion. And that's how it ended for the King and Queen of Domino. I'm so glad I could share this story with you, Bloom," the man turned on his heels to see Bloom's fury building up within her over hearing the demise of her parents. His eyes lit in gleefulness as enjoyed provoking the young fairy to a full blown scale.

"Come on now! Show me what you've got! Don't hold back! Do it for Domino! Do it for your parents Oritel and Marion!"

Burning flames had burned all around Bloom. Fire had consumed her entirely in her state of range and utter grief. Hot tears trickled down her face. Her entire body had trembled, as she had unleashed all of her wrath upon him. A large, transparent reptilian creature had emerged in the form of the Great Dragon, heading in the wizard's direction rapidly as Bloom unleashed all of her magic upon him.

Valtor had narrowed his eyes.

"Oppositus!"

The Dragon Flame had lost it's high blazing temperature, as the once bright flames had turned into nothing but pure cold ice—freezing the reptilian creature and the firey fairy in her place.

With a jolt, Bloom had awoke from her nightmare deeply panting for breaths of air. Fat sweats had covered her forehead. Her heart had papillate within her chest at a fast rate. She hadn't had a nightmare in a longtime. Or one that had been this disturbing. It'd been incredibly vivid, but a terrible dream or possibly a memory.

She had closed her eyes, trying to sooth herself.

Was some form of a memory? One that had happened in her own timeline. She and her friends had gone right after Valtor in revenge over the attempted murder he had caused to one of her friends. The pink-haired fairy named Tecna who tried to sacrifice herself by sealing the Omega Dimension.

But then again, her head stirred with even more confusion at the word choice: birthparents? Oritel and Marion are her parents. . . so . . . why that choice of word had Valtor picked?

Her blue eyes had widen in realization at the kind of monster Valtor was. The wizard had brutally murdered her mother and father from right behind them. Only a coward would sneak up on someone and attack them from behind and obliterate them without having any real chance to engage in combat.

Bloom had let out a weary sigh.

A feeling of relief overtook her.

She glanced to see that faint traces of sunlight spilled through the slit curtain. It was early morning. Possibly dawn. The fairy had grabbed her cellphone from the nightstand and slid her finger across the screen. It had instantly opened upon recognizing her face ID, which was a smart thing to do since Bloom hadn't remembered the number digits.

A faint smile crossed her lips, as she flipped through the photo album of recognizable girls. Her friends. The bright, cheerful expressions that had told Bloom all she needed to know (or had assumed) that they were very close friends, almost like some sort of family. Too many happy memories had filled her photo albums.

Bloom's eyebrows had shot upwards in realization, as she came across a specific picture. How hadn't she noticed such a significant revelation from before? Was her head filled with hazy clouds? Damn. She really was daft.

The blond-haired girl, Stella, appeared to be very similar to Luna in her appearance.

Was it possible that. . .

Her thoughts were shattered upon hearing the knock on the door. The maids had walked into her bedroom as they manage to open up the curtains, as bright sunlight had spilled into the room. A brand new day had awaited Bloom.

There was no time to dwell on lingering memories, not when she had to prepare for the day.

Wordlessly, the maids had ushered Bloom out of bed to the bathroom. The redhead princess was out of her nightdress and in the bathtub. Her bare skin had tingled against the hot water. Bloom had winced when the dark-haired maid had begun to scrub at her hair and her skin.

Once they were done bathing her, they had stuffed Bloom in what she considered to be skin-tight gown in the colour of shimmering emerald with soft splash of gold. Her red-haired was stylized into a fish-braid with beads embedded into her hair. A small silver tiara was placed on her head. The gemstones adorned her neck shinned radiantly. Light make-up was painted on her face.

Shortly, Bloom had founded herself strolling in the elegant hallways. The view was spectacular, as she peered through the window to see the Harbor Bay to the south of the palace. The courtyard was vast and filled with the wonder and beauty of nature with a large marbled fountain in the middle that had spurted water.

Four birds flew in the open blue skies.

A father, mother, and two small children had flown right behind them, causing Bloom to smile at the sight.

Bloom continued to walk through halls as her eyes drank in the scene all around her until she had reached another set of marbled stairs that led to the next floor. Confusion crossed her face upon another set of stairs. How many where there? That was such a rhetorical question. She bit her lips and proceeded to walk the stairs to who knows where it'd led. She felt her cheeks burn at the thought of being lost. It was downright embarrassing.

The girl defiantly needed a map of the place in order to familiar herself with the palace.

The next floor had an elegant décor with having a similar structure to the high towers—in one of the rooms she was currently occupied in. Portraits displayed of her paternal grandparents had filled the halls along with her father. All the pictures were displayed from his infancy years, to childhood up to his teenage years, and young adulthood years.

Bloom couldn't but giggle quietly, as she admired the portraits that were filled with much affection towards one another. Their eyes sparked with much life. Was the West Wing side of the palace belonged to her father? It would seem to be the case.

"Hey! You shouldn't be wandering off in the restricted part of the palace!"

A sudden, loud voice had barked directly her.

The redhead fairy had spun on her heels to see a tall but muscular man with long hair heading in her direction. He wasn't in a friendly mood, but a look of seriousness had over took the man.

Her face went white.

Dreadfulness had filled her stomach.

How was she possibly going to explain herself?

That she had somehow gotten herself lost within the palace? The notion was ridiculous. Certainly, this kind of guy wasn't the one who tolerate such nonsense with her own story. That she was from the future and oh, that her father is the very Crown Prince Oritel? Yup. That shall go swimmingly.

The man was dressed in refine clothing. He hadn't appeared to be impressed by her silly act of being naïve. He grabbed her firmly by the arm and gently led her away. He narrowed his grey eyes directly at her.

"Shall I ask why you were in the West Wing of the Palace? Were you trying to stalk the Crown Prince?" he asked tentatively, in the most deliberate manner possible.

Bloom's face morphed into that of pure disgust. "What! No. I just got lost."

The unfamiliar man had lifted an eyebrow. Disbelief had rose on his face. "That's what all fairies says when they're caught. You aren't the first girl to pull a stunt like this. Playing innocent are we?"

Bloom started to like the guy less and less with his tedious but disturbing questions. The man had refused to believe a single word that came out of her mouth, believing her to be a good liar and an excellent manipulator.

From the corner of her eyes, she had spotted her father walking along with a few men, engaging in a heavy conversation. Oritel's gaze had drifted off to his squire and Bloom. Sure his squire, Lewis, had good intentions but Bloom was his daughter and she could roam through the palace freely especially if it would improve her memories.

The two men by the prince's side had been dismissed as Oritel approached Lewis and Bloom. The smile had faded away from Oritel's face as he glanced between the duo. He wasn't impressed by how he was holding onto Bloom's arm.

The brunet prince raised a curious eyebrow. "Shall I ask what's going on, exactly?"

Bloom glanced at her helplessly. Her cheeks flushed a bright shade of red in embarrassment and quietly said, "I lost my way through the halls."

Oritel gave a nod.

"You believe her words, Oritel? She could be Aria in disguise. Remember all the attempts she did and how she'd fancied herself sneaking into your bedchambers?" Lewis said astonished by his prince's reaction. Aria was a a deceiving girl. She was no good for anyone. He personally disliked her, after Aria little attempt at trying to manipulate Oritel with her magic.

The brunet shook his head.

"That girl isn't Aria. Remember the discussion I had with you a few weeks ago, regarding some classified information?"

Lewis nodded, though his went wide in realization what Oritel was trying to imply. His attention had fallen back on Bloom, taking a moment to sink into his mind. That girl was related to the Crown Prince by blood. He blinked his eyes a couple of times. No wonder why the girl looked so mortified when he asked those deep personal questions.

"By the Great Dragon, Oritel! Why hadn't you informed me of her physical descriptions? It would've been easier to know and less awkward with the personal questions I asked." Lewis turned to Bloom and gave her an apologetic look. He hadn't known that she was the prince's future daughter.

Oritel smirked at his squire. He wrapped his arm around Bloom's waist, practically proud of being her father. "Well, I wanted to personally introduce you to her. She's my future-daughter. Bloom."

"Future-daughter? Your princess?" Lewis' dirty-blond eyebrows shot upwards in alarm. He hadn't anticipated this.

"You shouldn't be surprised. How else would Bloom be related to me?"

"I just assumed it was a very distant relative or something. I wasn't expecting her to be your daughter."

Oritel kept smiling. "Well, she is."

"So how long has she been here?" Lewis questioned curiously, still gazing at the redhead princess who's appearance was rather familiar, actually very familiar to a certain redhead woman. He furrowed his brows.

"About two months."

Bloom's blue eyes darted between her father and the squire named Lewis.

Although, he seemed a bit more casual and friendlier then he was earlier since he'd originally thought of her being Aria, a girl who managed to stalk her father often. The princess wasn't entirely sure how she'd felt about that. The feeling was awkward.

"And Bloom's mother would be?"

Oritel stared at Lewis in disbelief.

Lewis scrutinized his grey eyes at the girl, studying her delicate features that were very familiar. His eyes had widened. "That would be Lady Marion, right? The girl is identical to her in every way, save for the eyes though. It's a shame that she hadn't inherited any physical trait from you, my prince."

"Ah, yes, but Bloom does have my firey spirit," Oritel couldn't help but grin widely. "And I do have a proposition for you, Lewis."

"What kind of proposition are we talking about, Oritel?"

"It's regarding Bloom."

The redhead fairy had glanced at Oritel strangely. She pursed her lips together. "What about me, Dad?"

"You need protection, love, especially from Valtor. Lewis is one of the most trusted and skilled men that I know of. He'll keep you safe," the brown-haired man explained to his daughter who wasn't looking entirely thrilled by her father's suggestion. He was slowly becoming into an overprotective parent mode.

"But I can protect myself—"

"Bloom, he was very close to you and your mother. You even told me with your own words that Valtor still plans on hunting you down. I can't risk seeing you getting hurt or possibly killed by him." Oritel said, unsmiling. In fact, his words had almost sounded harsh.

Bloom had rolled her eyes at Oritel.

He was being overly dramatic about the situation despite making a point. Yes. Valtor was a dangerous wizard who had nearly killed her once, but she can defend herself. She wasn't a child who needed extra protection. The girl continued to listen to the prince in annoyance, as the squire had agreed to Oritel's terms.

The only way she could possibly show Oritel her magical skill, would be during combat training session with her grandfather, King Hyperion, that was going to be in the afternoon.

"It's been a pleasure to meet you, princess," Lewis smiled.

"The pleasure is all mine." Bloom said politely.

"We'll meet in front of gates in about an hour."

Lewis nodded and soon vanished from Oritel and Bloom's sight, leaving the father-daughter duo alone. The red-haired girl gazed at her father with a scowl on her face.

"What?" Oritel asked, noticing his daughter's glare.

"You know I can take care of myself, right?"

"Bloom, my word is final. We're no longer discussing this."

Silence had befallen them as they walked through the elegant halls. It'd seemed no matter how she tried to explain her own reasonings to her father, Oritel simply wouldn't allow her to face the dark wizard.

The red-haired princess had noticed that Oritel had the urge to talk to her. Apparently, he disliked the silence between them. He cleared his throat, as if trying to bring Bloom's attention back on him.

"Look, sweetheart, I don't mean to be strict or harsh on you, but I'm only trying to keep you safe from Valtor's clutches. He'd already hurt you so much. It's my duty and I can't fail you again."

Bloom furrowed her red-brows in confusion.

She hadn't understood why Oritel would say that?

"Fail me again? But you didn't fail me—"

Oritel couldn't help but chuckle. His daughter was certainly special, but yet, the man couldn't help but itch at the back of his mind about endless possibilities of the future. "If that were the case Bloom, then why hadn't my older-version or Marion's older version appeared to save you? I can't help but think about everything."

Bloom froze in her place. The words he said startled her. The nightmare. Or rather the future event that had taken place in her timeline about Oritel and Marion's tragic fate caused her to shudder. She was still jittery. Valtor hadn't just hurt her, but he had inflicted every bit of agony and suffering upon her family.

The princess had bit her lips. Her blue eyes had flickered with uncertainty.

"I'm not entirely sure, Dad."

Oritel frowned at her words. He didn't like the sound of that. If the same evil threatening the universe had lingered in his daughter's time. . . had that meant something unfortunate happened to him and Marion in the future, which was the reason why Bloom had nearly died under the wizard's hands? No. The man hadn't wanted to think of the worse case scenario possible.

Perhaps Radius' idea was brilliant.

Alternating the future for the better of the magical universe.

"Bloom."

"Ya."

Oritel looked at his daughter solemnly. "I need you to promise me that you would tell me the honest truth about your memories wether it's good or dark. I believe there are a few things that aren't adding up and I'm just trying to sort out the pieces."

The redhead princess had shifted uncomfortably. Hesitation had flickered in her eyes. She had promised her grandparents that she wouldn't spill the tragic fate to Oritel and Marion about their futures. It would only cause them such devastation.

"My parents made you promise them not to reveal anything about the future—mine and your mother's future, alright?"

It was hard to lie to him. Bloom nodded. At the very least, she would try to gloss over certain events.

"They don't have to know that you told me or Marion."

She looked so unsure, but had agreed to keep it quiet. Oritel had led his daughter to the dinning room. The servants were placing breakfast on the table. The king and queen were already seated, carrying on a conversation over certain subjects before turning their attention on the duo that entered the room with a good morning.

Bloom had noticed that Marion, Alec, and their parents were also seated. She felt her cheeks slightly burn, as the princess had took a seat besides her father, who sat across from her mother and uncle. Besides the nightmare or memory Bloom had, the morning had started off pleasantly.

Her grandparents, both sets, had been discussing about tightening security around the main capital and palace. Meanwhile her father had suggested about visiting certain places within the city that would most definitely boost up their moods.

Bloom picked up her fork and begun to eat from her plate.

The sun glared brightly in the endless blue skies that was clear from any tuff of white cloud. Waves of green grass had stretched for miles, followed by massive unusual vines and colourful plants, as Bloom peered through the tinted window of the car that sped through the narrow path. It was a beautiful area.

Maybe spending a couple of hours in the city would lighten up their aura for the better.

Bloom turned her attention back on Marion as she talked about her favorite places that they ought to stop by. The girl had noticed that they drew closer to the city upon seeing the tall skyscrapers and buildings appearing closer. The golden flag embedded with the symbol of the Great Dragon had catched the gentle breeze.

Her blue eyes had widened upon the glistening city. It was bright and lively. She caught the sight of the people who were fluttering—appearing to be very comfortable in their fairy form as they roamed by and some others were dressed in their gowns and cloaks as they had walked by, gawking in their direction.

She spotted a few carriages that glistened under the golden sunlight, but of course many cars had filled the streets. The building structures were made from what Bloom had believed to be from excessive gold that were embedded into the trims.

The cold breeze brushed against her skin.

She could easily tell that the weather was growing colder.

The redhead princess had noticed that several people were gazing in her father's direction. Of course, it had took her a full moment to realize why they were glancing at Oritel like that or why a bunch of girls were giggle innocently and giving her father a flirtatious wink. It was downright awkward for Bloom to see the girls trying to get the prince's attention.

She turned around to see Marion who made a face. She could easily see the hint of jealously colouring her mother's face. Bloom couldn't blame her for it. Even Bloom had rolled her eyes at such a dramatic sight.

"Ah, I see some spark of jealousy, no?" Lewis teased, upon seeing Marion's expression.

Bloom was more than certain that those words weren't meant for her ears.

Her blue eyes had drifted off to the harbor which wasn't too far from where they were walking. Bloom watched as the young children were happily enjoying the day despite the terrible news ongoing in the universe. Although some were slightly skeptic of the whole gloomy situation as parents had clung onto their children in fear.

Oritel had his arm draped around Marion's shoulders, which caused the other girls to scowl at the idea that the prince may have founded his ideal girl. His face was filled with delight as he showed Bloom around the city, but he was also very wary.

"Bloom . . .

. . . Bloom!"

She spun on her heels to see who was calling her name. The voice was highly recognizable. Was it possible. . . ? Remesu? The girl could hardly believe what she was hearing. Her eyes had widen upon seeing him again. The wizard was waving his hand in the air—in the swarm of crowds—as he was trying to grab Bloom's attention on him.

"Remesu?"

"Hello Bloom," the wizard greeted with a wide smile as relief flooded his amber eyes. He hadn't seen her in quite awhile, well to be precise, in this from and not his true, cruel wizard as being Valtor.

He outstretched his hand to her face and gently stroked her cheek. "I heard what happened to you from Crown Prince Teredor of Andros. Are you alright, Bloom?"

Bloom blushed. If anything, it was really good to see him again. A warm, sizzling sensation filled her chest. It made her feel safe just by being touched by Remesu. He knew how to calm her worries down.

"What are you doing here?" Oritel's sharp voice had pierced through the air. He narrowed his eyes at Remesu who cupped his daughter's cheeks.

Alec had stared at Remesu annoyed by his mere presence. Marion appeared to be curious, although hesitation danced in her emerald eyes. Lewis, for his part, had his brows furrowed in confusion as to what was going on.

Remesu gazed at Oritel rather confused by his odd behavior.

"I came to check on Bloom after what happened. I don't see how that's any of your concern, Prince Oritel?"

Oritel's blood had boiled upon hearing those words. Bloom would always be his top priority in his life no matter how old she would grow to be. She was his child. But in that moment, Oritel had tried so hard to refrain himself from uttering those particular words to Remesu. He closed his mouth like a fish. No words escaping his lips. There was a spark of frustration and anger that lingered in his brown eyes.

Remesu knew he hit a nerve. He was very well aware of Bloom's true identity. The wizard couldn't help but just take a good advantage of the circumstances.

Marion had her arm latched onto the prince's arm, as if gently trying to calm him down from any outburst he might unintentionally say or perhaps might reveal. Uncertainty had flickered in her green eyes. A warm but tight smile formed on her lips. "We really appreciate the concern, Remesu, but Bloom's fine. Nothing major happened."

"I just wanted to see her for myself."

Bloom blushed fiercely. "Well, that was very thoughtful and kind of you."

"So is there any other reason besides coming to see Bloom?" Alec inquired, raising a single brow. He placed his hand on Bloom's shoulder, as his gaze shifted onto Remesu.

"Ah, yes. There's an urgent message you need to—" before he could finish his sentence, Remesu's expression had changed instantly into that of seriousness.

Alec had wrinkled his blond brows.

Dark magic.

The weather had instantly shifted. The once bright blue skies now darkening as clouds begun to swirl. The calm breeze now going harsh as flashes of lightening had erupted from the sky followed by sounds of heavy thunders.

A dark, crackling voice had boomed in pure delight enjoying the pure chaos.

The city's siren had pierced through the chaos, altering people to get to safety. Children were instantly snatched by their worried parents as they begun to seek shelter.

Hundreds of bugs had morphed into a form of a woman. Mandragora. Dark magic had swirled in the air. Violent screams had erupted as the people begun to scamper away to safety. Guards had took their stance—others were shielding civilians from harms way.

Oritel looked at Mandragora in disgust.

How dare the witch show her face and cause such chaos!

Mandragora smiled sweetly as possible. "Did you miss me?"

Bloom and Marion both took their stance as they had transformed into their fairy forms. Irritation filled their features.

"Attack the the two fairies!" Mandragora pointed her finger at the duo fairies that were fluttering in mid-air. At her command, a swarm of dangerous bugs had flown directly at the girls.

In fact, the city began to flood with deadly, nasty, creatures, destroying everything in their paths. Fires had erupted as violence hand ensued. Other fairies, wizards and a few spotted witches were repelling the dark creatures with their magic as they were protecting their loved ones and others that were in great danger by the dark witch's twisted insanity.

Oritel had took a quick glance back to see Marion and Bloom both aided each other as they fought the bugs—hurling huge fireballs directly at them. Apparently, Alec and Remesu were both fighting alongside each other, using their own spells.

The brunet prince had glared at Mandragora, to see her smirking down at the scene. She was taking absolute pleasure in wreaking havoc and chaos all around. It'd infuriated him.

"Well, well, well, it looks like it leaves us alone my dear prince," Mandragora gleamed.

"And I'll be glad to get rid of you, myself," Oritel retorted, as he took out his sword, pointing directly at her. Fury crossed his eyes, as sparks of flames had escaped his finger tips.

Mandragora flexed out her sharp claws.

Dark magic spilling from her the tips of her finger.

Today was the day that she was finally going to succeed in her mission of capturing the prince and prove herself worthy to the three Ancestral Witches. The woman couldn't risk another failure. She had planned out everything in a careful manner. Her magic had increased greatly from the last time. In fact, Mandragora had learned a few new, but dangerous spells that would certainly guarantee her victory.

"We'll see about that Prince Oritel," she smiled amusedly.

"Mum! Watch out!" Bloom cried out, incinerating the vile creature as it had screamed in agony due to being burned by the high intensity of the flames.

Marion's eyes had widened, as relief had flooded her chest. That bug could've pierced her skin! The insects were everywhere! They weren't any ordinary bugs, but they were lethal. If it had penetrated her skin, the poison would've seeped into her blood, thus slowly killing her.

Marion fluttered to her daughter's side. "Thank you, darling!"

Instant worry had flooded Marion's chest as she hadn't spotted Oritel in sight. She looked at Bloom concernedly. "Have you seen your father?"

Bloom shook her head.

"I was about to ask you the same question. The last time I'd seen him, was when he was face to face with Mandragora. Grandfather told me all about her and her magic. She's dangerous, Mum. I'm worried about Dad."

"We have to find him!" Marion said determinedly. Fear had plunged her heart. She couldn't face the reality if something had tragically happened to him. And if something were to happen to Oritel, then there was a good her daughter might not even exist. The thought of her future children not existing scared her.

"Mandragora's after Oritel."

Bloom knew where her mother was going with this. It wasn't something unexpected. In fact, Bloom had totally expected something like this to happen. The Ancestral Witches would always haunt her family no matter what as long as the power of the Dragon Flame had ran through their veins. The cycle would never end.

She had to do something about the bug invasion. They were blocking everything in their paths and people were getting seriously injured. Bloom turned to Marion. "I have an idea but of course I need some kind of distraction."

Both fairies had fluttered down to Alec, Lewis, and Remesu.

"Girls. . .is everything alright?" Alec questioned.

Marion and Bloom exchanged glances.

"Uncle I have an idea that may get rid of the parasites."

Lewis, Remesu, and Alec had drawn all the attention of the crawling bugs towards them, meanwhile Marion had used her magic to summon a magical barrier to protect the people from the intense magic Bloom was about to conjure—that would destroy the creatures for one and for all.

Bloom was in the center as she stared at the creatures with pure fury in her eyes. She felt a hand placed firmly on her shoulder to see it was her mother who was giving her reassurance. Her uncle had stood by her side as well, just to make sure that everything would go smoothly.

The redhead princess had focused on summon her magic—calling out for the dragon within her in order to help her to annihilate those dark, unpleasant creatures.

She opened her eyes.

Magic had danced in her blue eyes as her entire body glowed a bright amber colour of fury.

"Full Dragon Energy!"

A tremendous amount of power had instantly poured out of Bloom's body, dazzling the entire area with bright power as waves of flames had slammed into the dark insects. They all burned to ashes while screaming painfully.

Bloom's entire body had trembled violently like a glass teetering on its rims. The girl had found herself buried in her mother and uncle's arms.

Marion gazed at Bloom, a sheer of horror crossed her face.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

"No. I'm not hurt. I might've gone a little overboard with the spell, but I'm okay."

Alec and Marion exchanged glances as she appeared to be a little unsure of her daughter's words.

"Can you make sure the people are alright?" Bloom asked of Lewis who instantly nodded. She watched him go along with Alec and Remesu as they had went to check on the people and to make sure that they needed the proper care they needed.

"Lets find Dad, Mum."

The two fairies had fluttered in the air over the city in search of Oritel. Bloom had bit her lips as fear filled her eyes over the thought of her father being severely injured. Marion wore the same expression as her daughter.

"There Bloom!" Marion had pointed out as she caught the sight of Oritel and Mandragora in a heavy duel. Although, she frowned at the sight of the prince being heavily wounded which must've been due to the insects penetrating his skin.

"Dad's hurt," Bloom whispered brokenly. It hurt Bloom to see her father in such a state. That bitch of a woman would pay every fiber of her being for inflicting pain on Oritel.

Marion's bright emerald eyes had widened in shock as the dark witch had managed to open up some kind of portal that led to another realm or dimensions of some sorts. Bloom and Marion had batted their wings at a faster pace, plunging themselves downwards.

"Wings of the Dragon," Bloom whispered the spell, her fairy wings were blazed with firey wings of the dragon that boosted up her speed significantly.

A wall of flames had appeared, separating the Madragora from the Dominian Prince, as the bugs had scrambled away from the intense heat. The witch had glowered furiously at Marion. She snorted as if were nothing. Mandragora had summoned numerous bugs in enormous sizes with deadly poison.

"Dad!" Bloom had reached the ground as she tried to pull him into her arms.

Oritel gazed upwards to see his daughter, followed by Marion who landed right besides them. A weak smile formed on his lips as the man was utterly grateful in seeing his beloved girls again, unharmed, but he could easily sense that Bloom had used significantly amount of her magic in eliminating those nasty creatures.

Bloom was slightly drained from her magic.

Without any warning, the redhead princess had felt excruciating amount of pain soar through her thigh. She glanced down in pure horror to see that her skin had been penetrated by those bugs that had clung onto her skin.

"Bloom!" Oritel and Marion said hoarsely.

Although, Oritel's voice had come off as being strained. The prince's brown eyes were filled with fear over his daughter's well-being. Those nasty bug's toxic would paralyze her magic and body if large amount of poison had sept into her blood stream.

Bloom with her last ounce of energy and strength she had left, ignoring her parents' plea, she had lunged herself at the wicked witch as the flame of walls had diminished. She couldn't allow that foul woman near her parents at all.

Oritel and Marion had to be protected at all costs.

Terror had struck Oritel and Marion's heart, realizing what their daughter's intentions were as she battled Mandragora. Bloom, finally, had managed to throw all of her weight on Mandragora as they neared the portal to dragons know where it led too.

It was the one thing she could do for her parents, just like what they had done (and Daphne, her older sister) in future. Giving her a chance at life.

Sacrifice.

That's what her family had done for her. And now, Bloom could return the favour back. If anything, she had loved and cherished the moment she had spent with Marion, Oritel, Alec, and the rest of her family members that she never met. Love.

"NO! BLOOM!"

A tear rolled down Bloom's cheek, as heard her parents' heartbreaking voice for what she could assume to be the last time. The girl's blue eyes had widen upon seeing her mother and father's hands reaching down towards her as if they could manage to pull her out at the last minute before the portal would close.

But it was too late. The portal had closed. Oritel and Marion had vanished from Bloom's sight as Mandragora had chuckled evilly. At the very the witch had succeeded in obtaining the guardian fairy of the Dragon Flame.

Marion and Oritel glanced at one another with such horrifying looks. Tears had glistened down their pale, exhausted faces. They couldn't believe what just happened. Their minds couldn't process it. Their daughter was gone in a blink of an eye along with that wretched witch!

"No! My beautiful baby girl. . ." Marion sobbed brokenheartedly.

Oritel tried to pull Marion into his arm. He too sobbed over his daughter. His heart was torn to pieces. With only knowing his daughters in weeks. . . it was just. . . it broke his fragile soul to million of pieces.

He groaned painfully over his injuries.

The redhead fairy had pulled away from the prince and glanced at his wounds.

"Oritel, you need a healer! You're gravely injured."

Marion turned her attention to her brother once he had appeared alongside Remesu and Lewis. The blond-haired wizard had looked as pale as a ghost over what he'd witnessed. His niece was gone.

Alec couldn't even utter a single word. He didn't know what to say. His green eyes had shifted from his sister onto the prince that needed to be checked out by a healer immediately.

"No. I need to find my daughter!" Oritel spoke determinedly. He wasn't going to lose her, again.

Alec shook his head. "Not in your current state, Oritel! We don't even know where the portal led to."

"He's right you know. Oritel, you can't find her like this and your parents, the king and queen, need to know what happened." Lewis spoke in a serious tone.

Oritel swore under his breath that if he ever saw Mandragora again, he would kill her right then and there. His soul ached knowing that his daughter was gone to who knows in what realms that portal had led to. But the prince had a deep feeling, it wasn't going to be a pleasant.

Author's Note

Ohhh, wow! A lot of major things happened in this chapter alone! Damn! I didn't think it was going to take a drastic turn like this (but I'm the writer, so I knew what would happen lol) but yes, now the story is going to be heading into an interesting turn of events. So fear not, there will be plenty of more things yet to come!

Originally in this chapter, Oritel was supposed to be the one to be kidnapped but I decided to go for Bloom for several reasons, one, she now has completed her Enchantix! So that's good! And also Remesu aka Valtor is going to be taking a major role now! *wink* *wink* can't say what it's going to be but I'm pretty sure you're getting at what it is! :D

BellChocolate: Thank you so much for the review! You'll be seeing more of Bloom's relationship with her grandparents in future chapters as I'm still outlining and writing a few things out on that. And as for Valtor, there will be certain times when Bloom will defiantly kick his ass, but of course, there's going to be plenty of scenes where she'll actually starts liking him and maybe forgives him so who knows?

(ya, you see here I do kinda ship Valtor x Bloom together, and I'm sorry for that it might not be Bloom x Sky). I don't want to disappoint you in that area. Sorry!

Guest: Omg! Thank you so much! That means soooo much to me that I'm satisfying your needs! :D

Lyds23: HAHAHA! I didn't even notice the similarities until you pointed that out to me about Ryan and Raquelle being parallels to Aira and Issac, and to be fair, they aren't evil but they do have that same personality streaks as Ryan and Raquelle. . . and I had to go back and watch a couple of episodes, lmaooo! :D

Guest: Thank you! MERCII!
