Chapter Thirteen: "Into the Darkness"
Wicked laughter had echoed throughout the darkness.
Crimson eyes were illuminating in the shadows as the figure had gazed down at the two Specialists and the fairy as they wandered through the depths of Obsidian in search for an escape.
The dimly blue flames had brightened as it had took the form of a skeletal man. It was no other than Lord Darkar to their sheer horror that had crossed Radius and Teredor's faces. The wicked man had a satisfied smile stretched across his boney face. His glare was downright evil. He had a brilliant plan in mind.
"You bastard!" Radius growled, tightening his grip on the girl.
Darkar had titled his head, although his throat was met with Teredor's sharp blade. Fury had ignited in his olive-green eyes, staring the prince of darkness with pure hatred.
"Lord Darkar!" Teredor spat out, his nostrils had flared.
A spark of delight had danced in Darkar's crimson eyes, as his lips had twisted into a sinister smile. "I've been expecting you, Prince Teredor and Prince Radius. Oritel may not be here as I originally planned, but the girl shall do instead."
The Solarian Prince had narrowed his hazel eyes at the dark creature in disgust, already knowing what the damned bastard was planning to do.
Darkar had smirked down at the trio, his red eyes gleaming with such satisfaction over his wicked plan he had in mind. Teredor and Radius made a face upon detecting Darkar's tone. It had sent shivers down their spine, but nonetheless, they were prepared to handle Darkar's wrath.
Lord Darkar revealed his gleaming sharp teeth upon the dim light that was flickering between, almost amused with the two Specialists' reactions. He only chuckled.
"You two think you can stop me! How pathetic! You're no match for the great Shadow Phoenix, but of course if I were you, I'd save my precious energy on something that's worth saving."
A glowing magical sphere had appeared before the two princes.
Radius and Teredor's once ire expressions had morphed into utter horror and fear who were entering the gates of Obsidian. Dreadfulness had filled their souls over seeing their beloved Luna and Niobe enter the gates of Obsidian along with Marion, Oritel, Alec, Lewis and the damned bastard, Valtor who was in disguise as Remesu.
Teredor's hands had turned into fist balls as Radius had lost all coloring on his face. He had cursed under his breath, finally coming to a realization that Valtor had planned this all along. Manipulated them. And he simply acted so. . . everything had been apart of their, the Ancestral Witches' plan as well.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
They were all screwed!
They had no idea that they were all being played by Valtor's ruthless schemes.
This only infuriated the two princes—giving Lord Darkar heavy dirty glares.
"Oh, you see here boys, I will not be the one to physically harm the girls, but you'll be the ones to hurt your precious your friends!" Darkar's lips had curled into a twisted smile upon seeing their expressions.
He enjoyed eliciting the fear of others.
He craved it.
Dark magic had instantly tugged at them with such powerful force that they couldn't be able to break free from his grasp despite using their magic much to their abilities.
Marion, Luna, and Niobe were in their winx forms, prepared to embrace the dark realm of Obsidian. The planet was dark and murky with gray clouds looming over the entire realm as several lightening had struck down on the land. Once the ship had landed, they had emerged out of the Owl.
The bitter air had brushed against Marion's exposed skin, causing goosebumps to form on her arms. A chill had ran down her spine upon sensing the dark, negative magic that loomed over her and her friends.
"Welcome to Obsidian! One of the most dangerous places to be in the magical universe," Remesu noted, twisting his lips in distaste. The wizard had to be extra vigilant around here. A slip of his true nature would screw his entire plans that he carefully laid out before him. One wrong move was all it took.
"I could feel the dark energy of this place," Luna couldn't help, but shiver in fear. Worry had shinned in her dark blue eyes over her fiancé being trapped along with those disgusting and ugly witches.
Marion was fluttering besides Oritel who seemed to be scanning the area with full attentiveness. There was no monster or demons lurking around. Not even a single soul or creature. It was quiet. Too quiet for that matter. It was rather eerie. A sudden, but frosty feeling had washed over the group entirely upon hearing distant voices.
Oritel had spun on his heels to see to his own horror Radius, Teredor, and Bloom alongside Mandragora and Lord Darkar. Color had drained from the Fairies' and Specialists' faces.
Oritel had narrowed his brown eyes at the despicable creature before them.
He twisted his lips in annoyance.
In a way, the brunet prince had expected to cross paths with Darkar and the Three Ancestral Witches. But what he hadn't expected was the newly dark versions of his two friends and Bloom. Not in such cruel forms, falling to Darkar's dark spell. Anger was blossoming in his chest towards the Shadow Phoenix.
Oritel had let out a low, but dangerous growl.
The three fairies had let out horrifying gasps upon such a sight, almost appearing in disbelief. They had blinked their eyes a couple of times in hoping that this was just a tragic nightmare. They were prepared to face the witches and the Shadow Phoenix. But to face their beloveds in such a state and dueling them was agony. Almost impossible.
A satisfying smile had ran across the dark prince's face.
"Isn't this such a warm greeting, fairies," he laughed wickedly.
Darkar had enjoyed seeing the stunned, but yet fearful expression cross the three fairies' faces upon catching the sight of their loved ones being transformed into a dark versions of themselves.
Marion hadn't been prepared for this at all.
She swallowed hardly, completely appalled.
How was she possibly going to duel Bloom, her own child? To fight Bloom was like as if someone were to jab a knife into her heart slowly and painfully. The fairy felt all twisted inside, almost unable to use her powers against Bloom. Marion bit her lips, rather nervously.
Luna and Niobe on the other hand had appeared to be hesitant of fighting Radius and Teredor as well. She couldn't blame as for she had felt the same way. The two girls didn't have the nerve to confront the princes.
This was far worse than Darkar's and Mandragora's wrath combined. Or maybe far worse than confront the three Ancestral Witches who caused terror all across the realms.
A cold chill ran down Marion's spine upon seeing Darkar's skeletal hands wrapped around Bloom's waist, keeping her rather close to him almost as if she were his grand prize that he held dearly to him and protected at all costs.
Out of the corner of her emerald eyes, Marion had spotted Oritel. Oritel was beyond furious. He was fucking pissed. She had never seen him react in such a way from before. This was a new side of him that he'd never shown to anyone including her.
The royal family of Domino were one of the most kindest, generous, and fair rulers all across the Magical Dimension. But yet, they can become dangerous and cruel to those who threaten their family.
Never in her entire life had she'd seen her brother behaved so aggressively.
Bright flames had sparked from his hands. Alec had his emerald eyes narrowed at the shadow prince who stood before them, gloating all about his accomplishments. Taunting them. Ridicule them for their failures.
Marion had come to a huge realization that her loving parents, her overly protective brother Alec, and her strong and brave prince Oritel had sheltered her from the cruel and bloody reality of the world. War. It had done numbers on people and the environment. Pure destruction and chaos.
"What do we do? Marion? Niobe?" Luna asked, her voice trembling.
She was completely unsure of what to do next.
Do they face them head on just like that not caring about wether or not they get seriously injured or possibly. . . no Luna had no time to think of such a thought. It was depressing. She didn't have the nerve to hurt her fiancé with her spells. Luna could seriously maim him despite her spells revolving around moonlights.
But what could she do?
Toss all her powerful spells at Radius? No. That wouldn't due. She couldn't even manage to cast a simple light spell to begin with. Nevermind. She had crossed that thought from her mind.
With Radius being under Darkar's spell, he wouldn't even hesitate in hurting Luna. The dark version of Radius might even take pleasure in doing so. Fear had shinned in Luna's dark blue eyes.
"Niobe? Marion? Say anything?" Luna said desperately.
She was running out of options.
The two girls were stuck in a trance. Unable to think clearly for themselves. It was such a difficult situation, indeed. They didn't want to hurt their loved ones. It wasn't their fault for being in such a state. Meanwhile Darkar and Mandragora were relishing such a moment, as if their plan had succeeded. The duo had hit their lowest and weakest spot.
The redhead fairy had turned to her brother.
"What do I do Alec? I don't want to hurt Bloom. She isn't herself."
Alec had frowned deeply upon seeing his little sister in full despair.
He gazed at the scene and back at Marion.
The man had a serious expression on his face. He didn't want to cause any harms towards his niece either. He wouldn't forgive himself if Bloom had gotten seriously hurt in the process. They had to break the spell over them and bring them back into the light.
"I know. But we have to break the spell over them. It's the only way they can truly regain their free will and beat Darkar, Mandragora, and the Ancestral Witches. If they try to use their spells, we have to dodge it as best as we can," the blond-haired wizard explained carefully.
Luna nodded.
"That sounds like a good option, Alec," Niobe agreed, taking a firm stance along with Luna and Marion.
It was the only way.
She didn't want to hurt Teredor at all. But if it comes to the point that she has to use her magic, the girl may use her magical staff to amplify her morphix in order to plaster him to wall if Teredor had tried to use harsh magic on her.
"You will not hurt Bloom, Remesu. Do you understand me? After all, she's my daughter and if any harm comes her way, so by the Great Dragon help you because I know I won't forgive you. And believe me, I will hunt you down myself and well you wouldn't want to know the rest," Oritel spoke harshly, giving Remesu a dirty glare.
Remesu was very aware of Oritel's tone of voice. He was being a highly overprotective father, making sure that his daughter would be safe and not maimed by anyone.
Remesu could easily see the fire ignite in Oritel's brown eyes that told him otherwise. Oritel certainly had the looks to murder someone who'd dare to touch a single strand of his daughter's hair. Or to cause Bloom a terrible heartbreak.
"You'd think I'd hurt her, Oritel? You must be out of your mind if you'd think that. I love Bloom with all of my heart," Remesu admitted to the Crown Prince, his smile had widening across his face. "Why would I allow harm come her way?"
Oritel glowered at Remesu. He despised the damned wizard. He even noted Remesu's tone. It was that of mockery or maybe the blasted wizard was trying to intimidate him with his words.
Before Oritel could respond to Remesu's comment, Marion had cut in between the two grown men who were at each other's throat. Marion was annoyed with both of them. They were completely immature idiots. This wasn't the time to be discussing such trivial things. Breaking the spell over Bloom was her top priority.
Marion couldn't help but wince at Darkar who had his fingers all over her daughter.
They had to get Bloom away from Darkar's slimy hands.
"Enough! This isn't the time to be arguing! What we need to do is to break the spell over Bloom and try not to hurt her in the process," Marion snapped angrily.
The two men stared at the red-haired fairy dressed in a green-glittering outfit. Her arms were placed to the sides of her hips, glaring at them. Oritel was red in the face. Embarrassed. "Alright, you have our attention, Marion."
"Good—hold on where's everyone?" Marion asked, noticing that it was only her, Alec, Oritel, and Remesu.
Where was the rest?
Where had they gone?
It was as if they had vanished into thin air, leaving alone in the company of the dark prince. Even Mandragora was gone. There was no Ancestral Witches lurking around the corner. Darkar and Bloom were the only ones standing in front of them as the duo glared at the group with full of eagerness, but there was a dark streak hidden in their glittering eyes.
Out in a far distance, where barren trees had surrounded the area. Darkness had swept the area, leaving no trace for any fairy to absorb light. It was utterly noiseless with the exception of two people who were engaging in combat.
Luna's dark blue eyes had widened, appalled by her fiancé who hadn't hesitated in lunging himself directly at her with balls of bright flames that had clashed against Luna's moon-shield. It had easily disintegrated.
The moon fairy had fluttered herself up in the air. She needed to get away from Radius until she had a plan or maybe a type of distraction in order to snap him out of Darkar's spell. Darkar was ruthless in turning her fiancé against her, to the dark side.
The blond fairy had gritted her teeth together in frustration.
Luna hadn't spotted any of her friends. It was only her and Radius in this foul dark place. Dragons. She hated it. The girl swore she'd get her revenge on Mandragora if it's the last thing she do.
"Luna, why don't you come out and play," Radius taunted evilly, as the prince had slashed through the barren, dead trees with full force in search for the fairy.
"Are you afraid of me? I promise, I won't hurt you."
The girl kept ignoring Radius' calls and dark chuckles. She wasn't going to fall to such foolishness. And besides, she was running low on magic. Luna didn't want to use the orbs until the very last resort. The only option she had left if things went awry.
Tears had crept in the corner of her eyes.
Everything was a nightmare. Pure chaos and destruction. She could easily feel the darkness seep into her heart, realizing that she was all alone now. Alone. She wasn't the type who enjoyed being all alone. It terrified her more than anything. All she wanted to do was curl up in a corner and allow the madness to pass.
All Luna wanted at the moment was to be with her mother, to hear her voice again, reassuring her that everything will be alright. Or to be in her father's strong arms, sheltering her from the reality of the world. Luna kept flying as fast as her wings could carry her.
She had emerged out of the deadened forest and found a nearby river, which was utterly eerie in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't a typical clean, fresh river filled with fishes, but no, this was different. The water was dark and utterly murky. In the deepened river, Luna had noticed that there was something dimming beneath the waves.
The fairy had fluttered down to see what was in the dark waters.
To her sheer of horror, it was something unimaginable. A girl was trapped beneath the strong current of waters. Or rather it was Niobe. Horror struck her heart. Luna brought her hands up to her mouth, letting out a gasp in fear.
"Niobe!" Luna cried out.
"Bloom, sweetheart, you have to snap out it! This isn't you. Darkar has you under his spell!" Marion cried out to her.
The redhead princess had titled her head. Her lips curled into a twisted smile upon Lord Darkar's order. Her amber eyes had glittered in enthusiasm upon the idea.
How foolish of that fairy to assume that she was possessed by him?
She wasn't under any kind of spell. This was her true-nature.
The dark fairy raised a curious eyebrow. Amused.
"You think I'm under some kind of spell, oh, how foolish of you to assume so?" Bloom crooned, her voice sounded like sweetened-honey. So soft but yet it elicited danger.
Oritel froze at the girl's words that awfully sounded cold and harsh.
The man wasn't entirely sure if he should allow Marion to confront Bloom in such an unstable state that may cause Bloom to outright attack them all. It had seemed to him that she wouldn't hesitate in drawing out her powers against them, which might be a huge problem if she did.
Oritel didn't want Bloom to hurt anyone either.
The man drew out his sword in preparation. Just in case if Bloom did decide to launch her spells at them, he could easily deflect them back towards Darkar.
A sinister smile played across Darkar's dark features. His crimson eyes illuminating in the darkness that surrounded them, desperately eager to see how Oritel and Marion would deal with such an ordeal. It was bloody brilliant. And torturous even for them to face their own future daughter. To fight her who shared their very flesh and bone.
He was a despicable creature.
Darkar had enjoyed watching open blood shed between family members and most of the time, it would be due to his dark influence that tore such an innocent family apart. The dark prince enjoyed drawing hatred amongst each other. It's what he'd craved. Tyranny. Betrayal. Destruction. Wickedness. Chaos. And all forms of evilness is what had empowered him over the centuries.
"Bloom, you need to stop this, now! You can't allow Darkar to take control of you," Alec begun, trying to at the very least, to allow his niece to consider his words. Alec narrowed his green eyes on the dark, foul creature. It was sickening to see him lay his fingers on Bloom.
Darkar's crimson eyes pierced directly at the group.
With that Darkar had thrust his hands forwards, sending a powerful wave of dark fire the specialists and fairy, which had been unsuccessful as they had managed to avoid the attack. He let out a deep growl, utterly displeased.
"HOW FOOLISH! YOU THINK THIS WOULD BRING HER BACK INTO THE LIGHT! IT'S UTTERLY PATHETIC! DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN JUST WALTZ IN HERE AND STOP ME!" he bellowed out.
Dark shadowy flames had engulfed Darkar entirely. He was beyond livid. The dark creature had turned to Bloom, revealing his razor sharp teeth. "Bloom, you take on Marion! And I'll be glad to get rid of the pathetic heroes!"
Cold chills ran down Oritel's and Alec's spine in fear.
Marion's emerald eyes had narrowed. It was fine by her, if she had to confront Dark Bloom.
Remesu for his part, threw a dirty glare at the Shadow Phoenix. He was a dangerous creature. Even he wasn't willing to use his own dark Dragon Flame against the immortal creature. Darkar's powers were the exact opposite of the Dragon Flame, as it absorbs light, heat, life, and cause ultimate destruction and chaos all across the realms. Also it represented the omen of absolute death.
Remesu had to help Marion take on Dark Bloom. Marion couldn't face her daughter on her, as Bloom's powers were incredibly powerful and unstable. The girl may unwilling hurt her own mother with her spells.
Alec and Oritel may deal with Darkar on their own.
Darkar was a cruel man in all of his form.
Perhaps he was just as cruel as Darkar.
In the end, Valtor had been indirectly responsible for all this madness that was taking place in Obsidian. Not to mention that the last thing he'd heard, Bloom had been on the verge of death due to being poisoned from Mandragora's insects. He had hated her nasty bugs as well. They were fucking annoying to deal with.
Unexpectedly, fireballs were headed in his and Marion's direction.
The fairy had managed to dodge the attack. Unfortunately for him, he hadn't avoided the fireball, which had hit him directly in his lower stomach—sending him flying back. Remesu let out a heavy groan. He had admit that small blast of hers was powerful.
The dark fairy chuckled upon seeing on the hard, cold ground, amused.
Remesu was on his feet again. He narrowed his eyes on Dark Bloom. She was taunting him with her girlish tone. He let out a low growl. He wasn't going to allow her to toy with him.
Marion fluttered to Remesu' side. "One of us have to distract her, Remesu. She can't handle both of us at the same time. And whatever you have to do to distract her, just don't hurt her no matter what she tries to do."
"I think that's been established."
"I know. But still, Bloom, she's special to me." Marion spoke, though her tone had sounded sad.
Special. In terms of Bloom being her daughter.
"Don't worry, Marion." Remesu reassured the girl with his calm words.
Dark Bloom only cackled in delight before lunging herself at the fairy and wizard.
Luna had stared into the murky river.
How in the name of the Great Dragon was she suppose to do now? How was she going to pull Niobe from beneath the waves? She wasn't exactly a water fairy. That was Niobe. She was a moon fairy.
The Solarian Prince's chuckle had echoed off in a near by distance, urging her to come out to him.
Radius wasn't her only problem anymore. If Niobe was here then it had meant that Teredor must be near by, somewhere close where he'd keep a close eye on things.
Without a second thought to spare, Luna had decided to jump into the dark rivers, using her magic in creating a bubble around her for air and the fairy had used her magical orbs to shed faint silvery light.
Luna had swam all the way down to the depth of the river only to see that Niobe was all tangled by the thickish sea-green seaweeds, in a way that had kept the dark-skinned girl trapped, unable to be escape the seaweeds.
Luna took a deep breath and lunged herself into the cold water.
Dark Bloom kept taunting Remesu and Marion.
It was only them. They were alone. Lord Darkar had vanished along with Alec and Oritel to dragons knows where leaving him and Marion on their own in facing the fairy. The duo hid behind a large stone-like mountain. Marion was panting for breath. She was exhausted.
Remesu couldn't blame her.
He, too, felt almost drained from his magical energy despite being a secretively dark wizard. Dark Bloom, for her part, had felt entirely exhilarated almost as if she were pumping with relentless energy. Nothing had seemed to tire the girl out. No matter what.
"This place is radiating with dark magic, which is strengthening Bloom," Remesu said carefully.
"I noticed," Marion said out of breath. Her chest heaved. To be fair, she wasn't exactly sure if she had enough energy left to tackle on Bloom. It was almost impossible. But seeing her in such a state was breaking her heart further and further.
The platinum blond-haired wizard had surveyed the area. There was no trace of Bloom which was utterly peculiar, as if she had vanished into thin air. The silence was eerie. Marion had been taking a look from the other side. There was no signs of Bloom anywhere.
"Did you spot Bloom?" Marion asked.
"No. Have you?"
"No. Do you think she's—"
"No."
Marion gazed at Remesu with a puzzled expression. "No? Do you even know what I was going to say?"
Remesu quirked an eyebrow. "I already know from your expression you made on your face."
Marion had mumbled an 'ohh' under her breath.
The wizard was fully aware of Bloom's possible motives. She was lurking in between the shadows, watching their every movement with those craving amber eyes that were filled with such thirst for blood, waiting for the perfect moment to strike at them when they were distracted, giving her a good moment of opportunity.
Out of nowhere, Dark Bloom had charged at Marion taking her by complete surprise. Even Remesu was appalled by the girl's behavior. It had made his blood run cold. Horror had flashed in his amber eyes. Darkar was truly a monster.
To his utter shock, Marion had fought back. She had tightened her hold on Bloom who seemed to be struggling in her mother's arms as she was trying so hard to break free from.
In the end, the girl had broke free from Marion's grasp, sending her flying to the other side. Fury cross Bloom's face as she flexed out her sharp nails. Her tongue licking her plumped lips.
Bloom had punctured her mother's beautiful fairy wings with her sharp nails, as Marion had let out a sharp yelp.
Fuck. Remesu cursed under his breath.
Bloom was going for Marion's wings.
She wanted to rip her wings off. He had to stop her. Literally. Dark Bloom was causing chaos all around and hurting the people she'd loved with her twisted new-self, thanks to that idiot dark prince.
Remesu rushed to Marion's side in a single heartbeat, trying to ward off Bloom of Marion. The redhead fairy had screamed in agony upon feeling the tear of her beautiful wings. Tears had slid down Marion's heart-shaped face that was covered in cuts and bruises.
Remesu could easily see the slashes cover Marion's arms and legs, no doubt that the fight was downright ugly. It was almost impossible for Remesu to take Bloom off. She was being utterly difficult. She had strength like a fucking steel.
"Marion, where's the sword that your brother gave you?"
Marion hesitated. She didn't want to use it. It would be her very last resort to use.
"You have to use it against her. It's the only option left. Dark Bloom is powerful even I'm having some trouble dealing with her. I understand that she's your daughter but she might end up killing you if you keep refusing."
Remesu hate to admit when he was considered a bit weaker against his enemies, but with Bloom's combination of the Dragon Flame plus Enchantix, it'd given her a higher level of magic and not to mention that Darkar had turned her to the dark side which had even tripled her powers.
Fuck that demon to Shadow Haunt for all eternity!
Marion, letting out a heavy sigh in defeat. She closed her eyes. Remesu was right. There was no other option in taking down Dark Bloom. All those attempts of sweet talking to her hadn't done a thing. It hadn't woken Bloom up.
The fairy had drew out her sword.
Fierceness burned in her emerald eyes.
The moment Bloom had sprung onto Marion with flames erupting from her palms, Marion had slashed the blade across Bloom's thighs. The dark fairy had hissed, placing her hands on her gash as dark blood oozed down her pale skin.
Remesu had easily wrapped his strong arms around Bloom entirely as the girl tried to fight him off, but she couldn't. Her thighs throbbed with unbearable pain, weakening her.
The wizard narrowed his eyes down at the girl and gazed back Marion again. "I'll be breaking the spell over Bloom. But unfortunately she will experience pain, if you don't mind."
Marion nodded, completely understanding the situation. Anything that'll free her beautiful daughter from Darkar's wicked spell. At the very least, Bloom would finally be free. Marion dropped to her knees utterly exhausted. But, her lips twisted into a frown upon registering Remesu's words about Bloom.
"Wait. How do you know that Bloom's my daughter?" Marion asked the wizard sternly. Her voice dropping dangerously low as she gazed at the man before her. She hadn't informed him of the truth neither did Oritel.
"Oritel. He told me."
Marion blinked her green eyes.
Oritel told Remesu the truth about Bloom's existence within this timeline.
Surely that would put Bloom in danger.
How could Oritel decide to just tell Remesu everything without even consulting her in the first place? Did he just automatically think that he was Bloom's father that he would be making all the decision that revolved around their daughter?
After all, she was Bloom's mother.
Fury burned in her chest.
She was angry, knowing that it might very well endanger her daughter's life.
"Please stand a few feet back Marion," Remesu spoke firmly.
Marion did as she was told and prayed to the Great Dragon.
That Bloom would be free from the utter madness.
Although, there was another problem once the spell is lifted from Bloom. It would also reveal his true. Fuck. Everything was going to blow up in his face. He gazed down at the girl who finally seemed to have given up from escaping his strong muscular arms.
Luna pulled Niobe safely into her bubble.
The blond-haired fairy watched, as Niobe had coughed up water horribly.
"Are you alright, Niobe?" Luna asked concernedly, as the girl rubbed her friend's back, trying to comfort her.
The dark-haired fairy sobbed brokenheartedly as she leaned her head against Luna's shoulders. Luna could easily see the fear in Niobe's light blue-grey eyes. No doubt it was after her encounter with a dark version of Teredor.
One that was filled with pure terror. Dark Teredor had agonize her. Tried to kill her multiple of times before managing to drown her in the river, but it had been rather unsuccessful, thank the Great Dragon. Niobe was utterly grateful to be alive.
"Shh. . .it's going to be okay."
"No it's not. You'd only be lying to yourself." Niobe hiccuped. Her voice was filled with utter sadness.
"Come on, don't say such things. We can't give up on hope," Luna pleaded. She too was afraid. But to be told that it's not going to be alright had made things rather difficult and depressing. This place, Obsidian, had brought out the worse in people. Truly, this place was a nightmarish hell.
Niobe stared at Luna with a grim expression.
"Did you know Teredor told me who the traitor was? Or rather the person not to trust?" Niobe begun, Teredor's voice taunting her about
The fairy of the moon quirked an eyebrow. "Who?"
"You wouldn't even guess. But Oritel was right about Remesu."
"What do you mean? Are you trying to say that he's the traitor?" Luna was completely stunned by such knowledge. Color had drained from her face.
"What I'm trying to say that he was never an innocent wizard. Remesu is posing under a different identity. He's a dark wizard. Valtor." Niobe said flatly. The girl was disgusted when she had learned about.
Luna had lost her voice. She was utterly appalled. No words could come to her mind. Shit. She hadn't seen that coming at all. Remesu aka is Valtor? Fuck. What were they going to do?
Author's Note
Wow! I know I haven't updated for awhile, but I was extremely busy during the summer and a lot of things happened so I wasn't writing as much! Anyways, I decided to end the chapter here, and the next chapter there will be a battle between Oritel and the Shadow Phoenix. And a huge realization as to who Remesu was posing as, so I'm sorry if this chapter gotten a little dark on such notice, but of course it's Obsidian that place is toxic as fuck and being turned to the dark side hadn't helped at all.
BellChocolate: Don't we all want to kill / punch Valtor in the face! Even at times I want to just kick him in the arse for his idiocy! Poor Oritel and Marion! No one deserves such curelty! :(
ikarn-feysal: Thank you for your kind words! To be fair Andy does sound like such a wonderful guy for Bloom if I'm being honest here!
1Shadow-kun: Thank you for your words and I do agree that Sky is very whiny! And from what I've heard, they actually said that Sky was jealous of a horse in S7, right? LOL I haven't watched after S6. XD
I hope you had enjoyed this chapter!
