Chapter Sixteen: "The Royal Engagement Party Part I"

The palace of Domino was buzzing with excitement.

Bloom peered through the tall tinted window from her bedroom which was located in the highest towers—overseeing the entire kingdom. She watched as snowflakes were falling from the darkened grey clouds. Bright lights had flooded the entry to the palace as the guests were arriving. Pure happiness had swell within her chest over her parents' engagement.

There was no doubt in Bloom's mind that her mother was tremendously excited as well as being nervous. Finally a good ray of sunshine was falling upon them all despite the weather showing otherwise.

Bloom loved winter.

It was her favourite season compared to the long blazing hot days.

Sure in summer, you get to show your skin and get a little wet, but it wasn't on par with elegance winter wonderland that coated the lands with it's brilliant white blankets.

The maids had finished adjusting the final touches on Bloom.

The girl had stared at herself in the mirror.

Her brilliant red-hair was pulled up into a bun with loose curls falling to her mid-back, with matching blue butterflies embedded into her hair. A stunning sliver crown was placed on her head with stunning ocean blue gemstones. The ornaments she worn on her fingers and ears had glistened upon catching the lights.

Bloom picked up her butterfly-shaped mask and set it on the bridge of her nose—concealing most of her dainty features. She grabbed her small designer purse. She was no longer nervous or anxious over the several hundreds, possibly thousands of guests who will be in attendance tonight.

"You look marvelous, princess!" one of the maids complimented, completely awe as she watched Bloom spun. She had admired the gown. The butterfly-mask had given added depth to Bloom's mysteriousness.

Bloom felt her cheeks flush brightly as she had thanked the maids for their tremendous effort.

Bloom could easily hear the fire-works being blasted into the dark, cold sky. It was time. Though she had wondered what gown and hairstyle her mother had done. Marion had told her that it was a surprise. She couldn't wait to see her!

The princess was greeted by her paternal grandmother—the queen—who appeared to be rather marvelous in her plum gown that had complimented her skin tone. Her brown hair was pulled into what Bloom figured to be an elegant but with braids intertwined along with the pearls. The golden crown rested on her head—gleaming. Her grandmother certainly had such elegance and poise.

Queen Leilani had welcomed her granddaughter with a warm smile.

"Your gown is stunning, darling."

"Thank you grandmother! Dad actually picked it out for me," Bloom returned the smile.

"It seems to me, you've enjoyed your day." Queen Leilani had meant it more as a statement, although sparks of happiness had shinned in her eyes as she glanced at Bloom who appeared to be in such high spirits.

"It was really nice," Bloom said softly.

"A change of scenery is needed every once in awhile, but I'm glad you got to spend time with your father."

Bloom had truly enjoyed her afternoon, especially spending her time with Oritel. She had been quite surprise to realise that she had shared a lot of traits with Oritel.

In a way, she was more alike him compared to her mother. Her determination, strength, and stubbornness had come from him, meanwhile she had inherited her physical appearance and her cheeky remarks.

Bloom would savor every memory she'd made with her parents.

"Stop worrying Marion! You'll be fine. Oritel's going to be with you at every step of the way." Luna painted her lips in a sweet plum color that complemented her stunning dress.

It was an off shoulder sleeved dress. The gown was super flowy, almost making Luna appear like a moon goddess. Her pale blond hair glowing against her pale skin. The blond girl had spun on her heels. She placed a comforting hand on Marion's shoulder for reassurance.

"And besides, you're going to blow everyone's mind away with your confidence." Luna winked.

Marion was utterly anxious as she fidget around—pacing back and forth in her bedroom.

She just couldn't help but feel stressed out about her engagement to Oritel, despite feeling utterly elated. Her maid had adjusted every last detail to utter perfection.

Of course she wasn't nervous from the king and queen, but it had to do with the social elite class and the realm's VIP who would be watching her every movement. So It was very important for her to make such an impeccable impression even though Oritel had soothed away most of her worries and fears.

Couple of months ago, it had been Luna's engagement to Radius and she'd been the one as shaky as the leaf and Marion was the one to reassure of her of the situation. Funny. Now she was the one falling into the same predicament as Luna. Now, all the tables had turned on her. She wasn't the one for the spotlight.

Marion heard a soft knock on her door.

It was her mother Lassandra who was wearing a magnificent grey gown that had popped strikingly against her pale complexion. Her blond hair was pulled up in an elegant pony-tail, curls dropping to her waist.

"Darling, we must get going along, after all this is yours and Oritel's big event. We mustn't be late." Lassandra reminded her daughter. "You look radiant sweetheart."

Marion nodded, giving her mother a soft smile.

The redhead fairy had adjusted her coat and had grabbed her purse—adding a few extra things such as make-up to reapply and her cellphone. She glanced at the screen to see that there was a message from Oritel. He had informed her to meet him at West Wing side of the palace.

"So is Radius with Oritel?" Marion's bright emerald eyes lit up with curiosity.

"Yes. But you're not getting any peep out of me. Radius had sworn to secrecy," Luna grinned.

Marion could only roll her eyes.

Lassandra, Marion, and Luna had met with Adrian and Alec in front of the manor, who appeared to be utterly handsome in their suits—Adrian had matched with his wife, Lassandra, although in the darker shade of grey, but Alec's suit consisted of pale green with gold threads. He looked utterly regal in his suit, plus the mask.

Marion peered through the tinted window of the car as they had passed through the busy streets, although Oritel being the Crown Prince had provided additional security in order for them to pass through in such ease and also to protect his fiancé from any person who might pull off a crazy stunt.

Snow was beginning to fall from the clouds, giving the night a magical vibe.

Excitement had rose in her chest.

Marion could only fall into such a day-dreaming bubble.

"Well, what do you think?" Oritel had stepped out of his bedchamber, fully dressed in his royal attire that had been tailored to his preference with gold threads embedded into the suit. The attire was accessorized by white gloves, a crimson cape that was tied in, and expensive boots.

Oritel had to appeared to be dashing in his royal attire.

He wasn't the type of man who preferred to dress in white, although his cape was a crimson red, and a few areas of his attire had contributed to the cape. His mask was a brilliant shade of crimson with flecks of golds, the outlined area was in white with swirls, giving off such exquisiteness.

Oritel had received a nod of approval from Radius and Lewis.

Radius for his part was leaning against the tall window that easily overlooked the magnificent area of the kingdom. The Solarian Crown Prince was wearing a golden suit—sunset colors, or more referable the sun's colors were Radius' absolute favorite—his signature style.

"With your royal attire, I have to say Marion might just loose herself in your arms. If anything, she will fall in love all over again." Radius causally smiled.

Oritel felt pleased by Radius's remark.

He certainly did have that charm to easily whisk Marion off of her feet. Oritel could vividly imagine her scarlet face, the tenderness shine in her emerald eyes and the deep love that she held for him.

"Would you please remind me, Lewis, who would be attendance that I need to be in constant vigilant of?" Oritel asked, with several hundreds of guests in attendance, as there were certain families that Oritel just happened to be intolerable of. Most of the invitations had been sent out by the king and queen.

Lewis had began reading the lists of guests until a certain surname had come up Willowshine. The Crown Prince's smile had faded away, easily turning into a deepened frown. Crystal and Novas Willowshine. The couple were Aria and Issac's parents. His father had personally invited them since Hyperion was on great terms with Novas as being an old colleague from his younger years and of course one of the obvious reasons was for the sake of maintaining appearance due to being allies.

Why hadn't his father had spoken to him about this subject?

It was most likely that Hyperion had known it would upset Oritel greatly.

Oritel was frustrated. It didn't set well with him.

Of course, Issac and Aria would be in attendance. He closed his eyes, knowing the possible outcome of those two siblings. They weren't the type that would easily let go of things. If anything, Oritel suspect that they had some kind of plan up their sleeves. He had to be on his guard at all times.

Oritel's eyes had widened.

His daughter.

He had to warn Bloom of what kind of man Issac was—a womanizer—who had complete disrespect towards women. He was cruel towards Marion. Another part that bothered Oritel greatly was the fact that Issac was still hopelessly in love with Marion.

In someways, it had made his blood boil over such a thought, but Oritel knew the exact reason behind Issac's motives. Issac had wanted Marion to be his trophy wife in order to rub it in Oritel's face. It was utterly despicable. That man had treated women like mere objects.

Radius glanced at Oritel skeptically.

"Aria and Issac are going to be there. That can't be any good."

"You think I'm any more thrilled over the idea of their presence?" Oritel side-glanced Radius. "My father had decided invite Novas' family. I can't bluntly say no about it, despite the many things his son and daughter have done."

"Oritel, if you must know, your father had given explicit warning to Novas ahead of time. One sudden toe out of line from his children would result in immediate escort out of the palace and the deal would be off." Lewis offered.

"They might cover their acts discreetly, but I'm no fool to their tricks." Oritel said.

"Shall I tighten even more security to make sure everything goes smoothly, my prince?" Lewis asked cautiously, upon seeing the distress on Oritel's face.

"A few more guards wouldn't be a problem."

It was as if it would ease his sanity and only focus on his and Marion's day.

Bloom was in awe—speechless—as she gazed all around the entire ballroom. For a split second, she felt like it was just an endless dream of pure blissfulness. Dazzling magic had filled the entire atmosphere.

The palace's managers had really outdone themselves for this party. The entire marbled pillars were shimmering. The marbled-floors was so carefully polished that it was reflecting every colourful light. The large crystal gold chandeliers were glistening spectacularly.

Her blue eyes darted off to every corner of the room that decorated stunningly.

The ballroom was filled with over hundreds guest, most of who were utmost importance, royalties from across different realms, dukes, duchess, count, countess, VIPs, and allies to the royal family.

Everything was lit and heavily decorated with several different tapestry in colors—crimson and gold. Colorful lights glittered through ballroom. The women were dressed in dazzling gowns—though some preferred to wear shirt gowns—along with their masks and the men were dressed in regal suits as if they were commanding the women's attention.

People were causally flirting, kissing, and erupting into laughter.

An orchestra filled the air with soft music, flawless music. The trays were floating around as it was easier access for everyone to grab a glittering glass filled with the finest of champagne.

Bloom had decided to join her maternal grandparents and uncle in the ballroom. It would be easier for her to blend that way. Bloom had found it utterly sweet of her father to protect her secret. A small smile blossomed across her red lips.

"Your mother's nervous, you know," Alec commented.

"Ya, I can imagine why."

Gossips filled the entire ballroom from one ear to another.

With hundreds of guest who were all super curious about the girl that their prince had chosen. They all wanted to have a glimpse of the girl who would be their future queen. Certainly that would make any girl tremble in anxiety.

Memories filled Bloom's mind over the time when Sky had wanted to announce his girlfriend to all of Eracklyon. It had been terrifying for her. She'd been a nervous-train wreck, as she was trying to learn all of the proper etiquette of what a Princess should know. It'd been an exhausting month to say the least. Bloom had never enjoyed the spotlight. It always made her squeamish. But that day had been such a painful moment in her entire life that she would rather forget all together.

Her heart had shattered that day to a million of pieces.

Sky had hurt her.

Sure, he was under the dark spell by Valtor due to Diaspro's interference.

Bloom pondered over her own relationship she had with Sky.

A frown slipped on her lips as she reevaluate everything from the moment she had first met Sky who was going under the impression as Brandon and then a brief moment that Remesu had come into her life as well. Valtor had manipulated her and led her on as being Remesu, an innocent wizard who was clueless to girls.

Her heart ached immensely.

Bloom secretly wished that she would find someone just like her father, kind, overprotective, a bit sarcastic at times and just generally honest about himself. All what she got was rotten luck. Sky and Remesu had lied to her face from the time they'd first met her and somehow manipulated her emotions. They hadn't been truthfully honest to her, until the moment they were exposed.

Bloom's eyes had lit up once she spotted her paternal grandparents as they had descended down the stairs, the queen's arms was linked with the king's in unity. Following behind them was her father, the Crowned Prince Oritel along with her mother, Lady Marion.

Her mother was drop dead gorgeous in that sea-green princess gown with pale gloves. Gold sequin was embedded into her gown's skirt. The mask was a beautiful shade of gold with flecks of sea green sequin. It had made her pop amongst the hundreds of guests. Her vividly red hair had glowed brightly against her pale-freckled skin.

Her father, Oritel, was exceptionally handsome in his royal attire.

He stood tall and proud.

With every royal occasion—when a huge celebration was involved—a dance must be opened. A graceful smile widened across Bloom's face as she watched Oritel dance with his mother. They looked radiant. The dance soon came to an end, as the queen made her way back to her king.

Oritel had approached his fiancé's side again and he brushed his lips against Marion's forehead lovingly. Oritel had swept Marion off of her feet—into the most romantic dance Bloom had ever witnessed. The way Marion's dress had swished at her sides as well as Oritel's—it was beautifully done.

Once their dance was finished, Bloom's maternal uncle had gone over to congratulate Oritel and Marion along side his girlfriend, Evelyn. Bloom had preferred to watch her parents from afar.

A few distance away from Bloom, a dark-haired man had snapped at such sight, storming through the crowds. Bloom had furrowed her brows. What was his problem?

Her train of thoughts had suddenly broke.

"It's so good to see again Bloom!" A bubbly voice pierced through the loud chattering.

The redhead girl spun on her heels to see Luna, Radius, Niobe and Teredor heading her way.

Bloom returned the smile. "It's so good to see all of you guys again!"

Luna and Radius were the definition of the golden sun and sliver moon.

Niobe, for her part, had appeared to be wearing a sleeved open-v neck dress with silver sequin and a matching silver mask. Her brown hair was let down in smooth curls with beads interwoven in her hair.

Teredor was wearing a royal plum suite with gold threads. His long blue hair fell to his shoulders. The Androsian Prince had his arm wrapped around his beloved Niobe.

"Likewise." Radius tossed a brilliant beam to Bloom. "Are you alright after Obsidian?"

"I suppose so, but I still get occasional nightmares from it," Bloom said, chills running down her back over the mere thought of that wretched realm. Bloom still remembered the horrors she faced within the nightmarish hell and the secrets or rather the memory she spilled to Teredor as she was losing all hope. But it had eased her soul.

But then again, she suspected that she was suffering from PTSD, which was just awful.

"Don't worry you're not the only one who suffers those nightmares," Radius reassured her—smiling at her sympathetically.

Radius knew exactly what Bloom felt. He hated those despicable dreams that made it seem so real. Or the times he wake up in the middle of the night, covered in sweat and out of breath.

"Did Marion pick out your gown? Because if she did, it's looks totes fabulous on you!" Luna gushed.

"No. Dad did."

Luna was shocked by that knowledge, although a huge grin stretched across her face. "I knew it! Oritel does have good tastes after all!"

Bloom giggled.

The redhead princess had sincerely enjoyed their company.

Ever since Bloom had gotten her memories back, well, it'd been a little awkward to say the least especially when the Winx or Specialists would enter her mind.

After all, they were her friends' parents. . . so ya, it had left Bloom with an odd feeling in her chest. What had made it worse was that it was easy for Bloom to see what Stella, Aisha, and Sky had inherited from their mother and father.

"So Bloom, you dated Sky?" Erendor said, causing the hair on Bloom's neck to rise.

The Eracklyon Prince approached her from behind—decked out in a ruby suit—casually standing tall and firm. He really did spark the same kind of charisma that Sky had. It was hard to tell the expression that Erendor wore on his face due to the mask.

Bloom hardly mistaken that tone of voice. It was cold. And even brutal—accusing her of some kind of crime she'd committed. At this point, she knew that everyone was well aware of her memories. Bloom felt like she'd been exposed on a variety of levels. In a way, she disliked the feeling that came with it. There was no denying it. The girl felt the heat travel up her face—flushing in pure embarrassment.

"Come on Erendor, I don't this is the time for it," Teredor advised cautiously.

Luna and Niobe exchanged glances—worried.

Erendor wasn't having it. The dark brown-haired man had found it intriguing and was more than determined to get his questions answered. "Oh, come on. A few questions wouldn't hurt. It's not like anyone is going to tune into our conversations."

Right. Bloom could almost roll her eyes.

It sounded far more of an integration than anything else.

By far Erendor was doing an excellent job in trying to ruffle up her feathers, just like the older version of himself. Bloom hadn't expected him to be much different. Although the younger version of Erendor was even more arrogant, but less stubborn, and traditional, though she'd suspect that once he would become king that would change.

"I suppose not, so ask away," Bloom said firmly.

Another reason why she had wanted to go back to her own timeline so desperately. Those talks were simply awkward for her to answer her friends' parents. Bloom's fear of being interrogated was confirmed as he buzzed her with several questions that were very much intimidating.

The redhead princess had shifted uncomfortably over topics that were considered sensitive and embarrassing moments of her life. The way that Erendor was glaring down at her made her feel significantly small with his remarks.

Radius had cut in, not liking how his friend was treating Bloom in front of them. "Erendor, I think that's enough. There's no reason for you to keep picking on her like this."

Erendor raised a thick eyebrow. "I'm not upsetting her, just merely telling her my opinions."

"Which happens to be very condensing," Radius disagreed.

"Condensing? Since when?" Erendor scoffed.

Bloom intervene not wanting anymore drama to stir. She expressed total gratitude for Radius' support. But she didn't want to draw anyone's attention to the growing situation. Bloom had glanced back at Erendor and took a deep breath and let it out.

"I really appreciate your support Radius, but I can handle myself." Bloom turned her attention towards Erendor. In a way, she sort of understood the man, but she wasn't going to allow him demean her in front of everyone.

"Look, I get it. I'm not the ideal princess nor do I understand much about how royalty works, but I'm working on it to the best of my ability. You have to understand that I hadn't had my whole life prepared for it, otherwise things would've been different."

In a way, it made her feel relieved to say those words to Erendor. He needed to hear her out even though Erendor didn't like her or found her to be a very annoying girl.

"Perhaps you shouldn't have meddled in things that aren't your business." Erendor's lips had twisted into an awful sneer.

Bloom flinched at his harsh words. It had threw her off guard. She hadn't expected him to say something so insensitive like that. She felt her cheeks burn in embarrassment. Anger had boiled within her chest.

"Now Erendor you're taking it too far. There's no reason for you to belittle her." Teredor aided Bloom's side. The Androsian felt bad for the girl after everything she's been through, and now she was being subjected to Erendor's rude behavior. It wasn't tolerable.

Bloom gazed at the Eracklyon Prince with a cold, harsh, glare. "At least I'm owning up to my mistakes. Maybe Sky shouldn't have switched his identities in the first place with his best-friend Brandon. I didn't even know who he was at the time! Who's fault was that?"

Erendor narrowed his dark eyes on Bloom. "Are you trying to say that it—"

Teredor had stepped in between the fairy and specialist, not wanting either of them to make such a scandalous scene. "Bloom's not trying—"

"Oh. Yes, she did imply it Teredor. Are you actually defending her?" Erendor accused his friend. "Why are you so keen on siding with Bloom?"

Teredor rolled his olive-green eyes. "Because you keep insulting her for no reason."

Bloom glanced at Erendor with a scowl on her face. She had enough of him for tonight. She could feel something stinging in her blue eyes. No doubt that her eyes were getting watery. Her entire chest felt like an open wound again. Crushed. The redhead girl had tried to muster the strength to not burst into tears.

"I'm off to find some champagne," Bloom had given a tight smile, as she decided to disappear into the sea of crowds.

"There's was no reason to do that to her Erendor. She hadn't done anything to you," Niobe said frowning deeply.

"Why do you keeping insulting Oritel and Marion? Oritel is your best-friend? I'm surprised you didn't like the idea that Bloom's dating Sky? I mean, if I had a son, I wouldn't mind at all," Radius said, furrowing his red brows in confusion.

"Anyways I'm going to try to find her, alright love. Marion told me that she doesn't want Bloom to mistakenly run into Issac and his family." Luna had given her fiancé a quick kiss on the lips.

"Issac and his family are invited?"

"Apparently. Come on Niobe, let's find her before something happens," Luna yanked Niobe's arms and dragged her away—leaving the three boys alone.

Bloom was upset. Tears had easily slid down her face. She had a glass of champagne in her hand. She was all alone. Everyone had someone to dance with tonight except for her, not that she was really complaining about that.

For the most part, Erendor had stung her with his words yet again.

The redhead princess felt more alone than ever.

Only if someone were here with her tonight to support her.

Bloom had walked out into the royal gardens. She had spotted several couple who were out and enjoying the cold, snowy night. They had their arms linked with each other's. Others were simply strolling through the magnificent path.

The girl had felt utterly broken.

All what she had wanted to do was to curl up in her bed and cry her heart out or until she had no more left to cry or whenever sleepiness would overtake her.

She took a sip from her glass, as the girl admired the beautiful white snow that coated the entire garden. In a way, it looked utterly unrealistic. She had let out a sorrowful sigh. Why had life had to be so complicated?

Without paying any attention in front of her, Bloom had stumbled into a man—dressed in the most stunning of suit. The material seemed to be made of velvet crimson with gold threads. His dark hair was glossy and smooth, easily reaching shoulder length. His dark eyes had glittered.

Her glass of champagne had dropped—shattering to million of tiny shards.

He was talking to a woman with curly brown-hair, dressed in the most magnificent sleeveless red-gown (but wasn't the woman cold? Not unless if she had used a warming spell for that) followed by another girl, dressed in the most gorgeous pink frilly dress—something that Diaspro would wear—with long silver curly hair reached her waist.

Bloom's face had turned as bright as a tomato. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there!"

His mere smile had made Bloom's legs turn into jello. A part of her had felt like a young teenaged girl who had a crush over one of the most popular boys in the entire school. She scolded herself.

She couldn't even—How embarrassing!

"Oh, don't worry about that. It's alright." Issac said softly, as he offered his hand to the stunning redhead woman before him. He couldn't take his dark eyes off on her. Something about that girl's features (despite wearing the mask) had reminded him about Marion. A grin formed on his lips.

He helped Bloom onto her feet again.

"I hope you're alright, girl." He flashed her a warm smile.

Bloom blushed intensely.

"I am. I truly appreciate your kind gesture."

"It's no problem. Wouldn't want a girl like yourself get all covered in snow now?" Issac couldn't help but chuckle and to his own sheer surprise, the girl had let out a few soft giggles.

Issac had spotted the tears stains on Bloom's rounded cheeks. He furrowed his brows. "Is everything alright?"

Bloom gave him a small frown. "I—no—a friend of mine was—we were having a row."

"Oh. I can only guess that it went bad—seeing as you're in tears and well outside of the ballroom."

Bloom sniffled. "Ya, it was pretty bad. But—"

"—But what? Is that jerk your boyfriend or something?" Issac asked, sounding utterly interested with the girl's tale.

Bloom's eyes had gone wide. She spluttered. "What? No! Not at all. It was just a misunderstanding."

Issac knitted his brows together. A smirk formed on his lips. This was just perfect! A young weeping girl had somehow came stumbling into him as if it were somehow Fate. Plan B was now set into motion. The black-haired man had to play it off so smoothly in order for the girl to fall into his trap (or rather plan to use).

"If I may ask, hopefully it doesn't come off as being strange, but may I escort you? You know as date?"

The redhead princess had glanced at the man—he was incredibly charming and nice—seeing that she didn't have anyone for the night to dance with, Bloom hadn't minded the man's question. It seemed to him, he hadn't had a date either which almost sounded as insane. Who wouldn't be with Mr. Prince Charmer? He did have that striking appeal about him.

Bloom glanced at the beautiful stranger. Her stomach was overfilled with butterflies. She truly hated that feeling. It was downright annoying. The girl gave him a warm smile. "You can be my date but only for the night."

"I wouldn't mind at all." Issac had linked his arm with the girl. Perfect. It was going according to his plan. He didn't want to find a needy girl who might just develop romantic feelings towards him. "May I know your name?"

"Bloom."

Issac's eyebrow rose. The man was intrigued with the girl's name. "Bloom? That's a unique name for a girl such as yourself. I never heard anyone naming their daughter Bloom from before. You must be the first person I come across with have that name."

The princess's cheeks had flushed a bright shade of pink. To be fair, no one had ever mentioned it to her. From what she recalled from Daphne, it had been their father Oritel who had picked out the name for his second daughter. Marion was the one to name her first born daughter.

"Your words are too kind. So what's your name?"

"I'm Issac Willowshine," the black-haired man had stated proudly.

Bloom wrinkled her brows. That name had sounded extremely familiar, but from where exactly. She couldn't pinpoint it. But there was an unknown feeling lingering in the back of her mind.

She glanced upwards to see a smoky tendrils rising from behind the man revealing his true inner nature. The redhead girl had plastered a wide—fake—smile, going along with man's foolish plans. Bloom wasn't going to allow him to sabotage her parents' engagement party.

"Shall we go back inside the party Bloom?"

"Of course."

"She's nowhere to be seen," Luna frowned, approaching the group alongside Niobe.

"Couldn't you at least be nice to Bloom for once instead of being a prick to her? Granted, she's owning up to her mistakes. Why can't you see that?" Radius implied, his brows furrowing in confusion. Sometimes, he simply couldn't understand Erendor.

"You do know that I'm a no nonsense man and I don't sugarcoat things," Erendor stated clearly.

Radius had the urge to say something—

"Look this isn't the time for it. Oritel and Marion are coming this way," Niobe said softly, trying to break the tense over the two grown men who were nearly at each other's throats.

The redhead fairy had her arm entangled with her fiancé Oritel. It had quite the ring to it—Oritel being her fiancé. It'd almost sounded like a fairytale dream.

Marion hadn't spotted her daughter in the ballroom at all.

Worry had filled her mind.

"Where's Bloom?" Marion frowned deeply.

Sure Bloom wasn't a child who needed to be supervised by an adult, but she was more concern of the fact that Aria and Issac were here along with their parents, who might've stumbled across Bloom. She and Oritel had merely wanted to warn Bloom about Issac's malicious intentions towards young women.

Oritel had scanned the room.

It wasn't too difficult to find Bloom.

She had one of the kind dress that was easily distinguishable in the sea of crowds along with her vividly red-hair (as not many people had her bright shade of red-hair, only expect a few people who were in attendance tonight).

"Bloom said she was off to find some champagne to propose a toast for you and Oritel," Luna informed her best-friend. She and Niobe had been looking for her in the ballroom and hadn't even spotted her.

Oritel wasn't too sure how he felt about his daughter grabbing a glass of champagne. Of course as being her father, he didn't want Bloom to become too accustomed to drinking. It wasn't good for her. The smile had vanished off of Oritel's face.

Alec had approached his sister who appeared to be in distress.

The man hadn't spotted his niece either.

"I'm just worried that Issac might've ran into Bloom and he might find her interesting," Marion shuddered, horrifyingly. Issac had mentioned to Marion several that he favored redhead women with colored eyes, along with being quite shy, a bookworm, and being a fascinating person. "Oritel we have to do something!"

"We can't be too sure if she's—" Alec was cut off by Radius.

"Um Alec, Oritel, I think you guys want to see this," Radius said pointing in the left direction, as he stiffened in his place. That wretched bastard. He must've fooled the girl into his obnoxious, silly tale. Disgust filled his face.

Marion had lost all coloring on her face as her green eyes had gone wide, nearly dropping her own glass of champagne. Oritel for his part was greatly enraged at the sight of the bastard who had such a nerve in escorting his own daughter.

"Not that I want to be rude or anything Oritel, but why? Why did your parents have to invite them?" Luna said, scowling. The blond-haired fairy held utmost disdain towards the man and his sister Aria. More than one occasion Issac had manage to humiliate her and her friends.

"Unfortunately yes. But I do have half of mind of wanting to punch him in the face for laying his fingers on my daughter!" Oritel snarled. He didn't like this any more than all of his friends.

"This is far from over your majesty." Issac's harsh cold voice filled Oritel's mind.

Obviously that man had some kind of game up his sleeves—he wasn't willing to move on from Marion—or to lose Marion to Oritel. Apparently, Issac had wanted to be the victorious one. So that's how he's going to play the game, by using his own beautiful daughter. It made Oritel's blood boil at the mere thought.

"That's not an effective strategy Oritel otherwise you'll draw unnecessary attention on you. I don't think your parents would be too pleased with that," Teredor reminded him.

Oritel had sulked.

"So what I am suppose to do? Just leave Bloom in the hands of that despicable, womanizer, man?" Oritel grumbled under his breath.

Marion had agreed with her fiancé.

Oritel had all the right reasons. He hated Issac with every fiber of his being.

Seeing her own daughter with Issac had made her livid. She narrowed her eyes at Issac who most likely had manipulated her Bloom for his own selfish reasons. If that wretched man dare lay a single on her daughter's hair and hurt her, Marion would simply wipe with the floor with her newly founded Enchantix powers.

"Hello everyone! I'm so sorry for running a bit late," Samara spoke. The woman was wearing a dazzling dark emerald gown that matched her eyes. Her dark red hair was in loose curls, with a small silver tiara.

She approached Erendor's side and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Samara's piercing dark green eyes had met Oritel's gaze. Worry flickered in her eyes. "Oritel, is there any reason why Bloom's with Issac?"

Oritel spluttered. Anger had overtook him. Issac had the audacity to kiss Bloom on the cheek. His hands had turned into fist-balls. He was about done with Issac's presence.

"Oritel you have to wait! You can't do something irrational right now, think of the stir you might cause. I do have a plan in mind." Niobe gave him a reassuring smile.

"Alright! You've grabbed my attention Niobe. What's the plan?"
