Link and Midna walked away from the mirror chamber. All of a sudden the sages appeared.

"Welcome Link and Midna, rulers of twilight." The fire sage said. "What brings you back here?"

"Well, you see I wanted to show our daughter Twila where I am from," Link replied.

The Sage of Water looked at the girl in Link's arms. "Aw, she is so cute."

"Yeah, and she won't let me hold her much," Midna complained. "She really loves Link."

"I can see that much." A familiar voice said.

Link and Midna both turned and they saw Zelda.

"Oh, your highness I didn't know you were there," Midna said shocked.

"I'm not the Princess anymore," Zelda replied. "I am the queen now. Besides, if you are going to the Castle I could take you back with me."

"Yeah, that would be great," Midna said. "Plus, that means Link has to protect two queens."

"That's great news that you are queen now. Besides, Midna and Twila are first on my protection list and then you.," Link said shifting Twila to the other shoulder. "Do you want to see her?"

Zelda nodded her head. "If it's alright with you two."

"It's fine with me," Midna replied.

"It's fine with me two." Link said. " Hey, Twila I want you to meet someone."

Twila stirred at the sound of Link's voice. She turned and eyed Zelda.

"Who is that?" She asked.

"That is Queen Zelda of Hyrule," Midna answered. "You know she once saved my life when I was here last time."

"Please don't remind me of that," Link begged. "I don't like that memory."

"Well, I like that memory because that's how I knew that you really cared about me," Midna replied.

"At that time I didn't care about you." Link said. "I loved you."

"Yeah, he did," Zelda said. "I could tell he did when he brought you to me."

"Is that why you nearly died trying to save me?" Midna asked.

Zelda shook her head. "Well, that's half the reason why. The other reason is that I knew that you would do the same for me if I was in your place."

They walked in silence for a while. Link spoke up first.

"So what kind of things have you changed about Hyrule." He asked.

"Well, I increased the security in the castle." She replied. "I bet you didn't change anything about the twilight realm."

"Actually I did." Link said proudly. "I established royal guards in the twilight palace. Well, after we lost Midna's father."

"Yeah, I felt your pain on that day," Zelda said looking at Midna. "You know we are still connected to each other."

Midna looked at her. "Yeah, I know because I sometimes feel the way you are feeling."

A guard walked up to Zelda. "Your Majesty what are you doing here without an escort."

"Well for your information Captain Ocil I do have an escort." Nodding in Link's direction.

The guard looked in the direction and he raised his weapon. "You are not Welcome here you resident of the twilight."

The guard brought his sword down towards Link but Link sidestepped and elbowed him in the back.

Zelda shook her head. "Ocil the one you attacked is the hero of twilight."

Captain Ocil looked at her. "I know what the hero of Twilight looks like and he doesn't look like him."

"Well, that's because he has been in the twilight realm."

"Then, that means he is a traitor to his people."

"No, he isn't I allowed him to go to the twilight realm," Zelda responded. "Now I order you to go back to the castle."

"I'm sorry your majesty I misunderstood." Ocil bowed and left.

"I'm sorry Link for this."

"It's alright I wouldn't blame him for trying to protect you." Link said. "Especially because of what Zant did to the other guards."

"Well, to tell the truth, he really likes me," Zelda replied. "I have a feeling that pretty soon he is going to propose to me."

"I could see that he loved you," Midna said. "It really shows how much he cares for you."

"Yeah, well he should have asked if you were in danger before he attacked me." Link complained. "But, it's a good thing that I have wolf-like reflexes."

"You still are my little wolf." Midna teased.

Zelda laughed. "My you two still act as if you are newlyweds."

"We're here." Link announced as they entered the castle gates into the familiar Castle Town. "Well, this place hasn't changed much."

Link walked to The Malo Mart. "I wonder if Malo still works here."

"Oh, he does," Zelda said. "He is the Castle's number one supplier."

"Midna, you don't mind if I go visit him." Link asked.

Midna shook her head. "No, I don't mind at all. In fact, you can introduce me to him."

"You've seen him before." Link said.

"Yeah, I've seen him but I've never actually met him."

"Oh yeah, I forgot that you always hid in my shadow at the time."

Link and Midna walked into the Malo Mart.

"Welcome to the Malo Mart the Castle's number one stop for all your needs." The clerk said.

"Malo long time no see." Link said pulling his hood down to reveal his face.

"Link is that you," Malo asked.

"Yes, Malo it's me," Link replied

"Man, you look so different than when I last saw you."

"Yes, I'm married now and have a daughter."

"Are you married to this fine young lady?"

Link nodded. "Yes, I'd like you to meet my wife Midna and my daughter Twila."

"Oh my your wife is from the Twilight Realm," Malo replied shocked.

"Yes, that is where I have been all of these years." Link said. "In fact, I am the King of the Twilight Realm."

"Oh really, Uli hasn't been the same since you disappeared."

"Are they still well?" Link asked.

Malo nodded his head. "No, Rusl past not that long ago and Uli isn't really herself."

"Actually, those were our plans," Midna said. "We should be going now."

"Okay, Link you take care."

"You too."

Link and Midna walked outside the store and they started the long journey to Ordon Village.

"I wish we could teleport there," Midna said after a few miles of walking.

"Well, we don't want to draw any attention to ourselves. Especially since Zelda's Captain didn't even recognize me."

"You're right if we teleport now then everyone will know that we are from the Twilight Realm."

"If only we had Epona." Link said.

"Yeah, then we could get there a lot faster than on foot."

"Well, look at the bright side." Link said. "We get to spend some time together traveling just like when we were trying to save Hyrule and the Twilight Realm."

"But the only difference of this is we have someone else to take care of," Midna replied nodding towards Twila who was asleep in Link's arms again.

"I think I should wake her up so she could walk with us." Link suggested.

"Yeah, then she can take in the beauty of the sunrise that she can't see in the twilight realm."

Link nudged Twila on the shoulder. Once she woke up she saw the sunrise.

"What's that?" Twila asked. "Light."

"That's called the sun," Link answered. "People here can't work without its light."

"Daddy from here?"

Link nodded. "Yes, I am from here. In fact, you are about to meet your grandparents."

They walked together with Link on one side, Midna on the other, and Twila in between them. Pretty soon they walked across the bridge that leads to Ordon Village.

The Village guard looked at the bridge and he got so scared that he ran to warn the village the Twilight has Returned.

Colin ran to the Guards' aid and fought with Link.

Link summoned a sword and he blocked Colin's Blade.

"Colin you don't want to do this to me." Link said trying to convince him that he isn't going to hurt anyone.

Colin backed up at the sound of his name. "How do you know my name when you haven't even known me."

Link blocked his blade again with one hand and he pulled down his hood.

"Yes, I do know you."

When Colin looked into Link's eyes he recognized who looked back at him.

"Link is that you?" Colin asked.

Link nodded his head. "Yes, Colin it's me."

"Thank you, Din." Colin cried. "Where have you been all of this time?"

"I've been in the Twilight Realm."

"Why have you been there?"

"Well, I'd like you to meet two people." Link replied. "Midna you can come out now."

Midna appeared with Twila in her arms.

"Colin I'd like you to meet my wife Midna and my daughter Twila."

Midna walked up to him and shook his hand with her free hand.

"So you married someone from the Twilight Realm," Colin asked confused. "I thought light and shadow couldn't mix."

"Well, that's what I thought too until I was told by the Goddesses that they would let me marry Midna and they sent me to the Twilight Realm."

"So you disappeared into the Twilight Realm."

"Link nodded his head. "Yes, I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Well, I knew you would prevent me from leaving."

"Yeah, I would have," Colin admitted. "How about you come and see Uli and my new sister."

"That sounds like a good idea." Link said. "In fact, I'd like to introduce my family to everyone in the Village."

I'm not sure they would like to see a Twili in the village, but once they see you they probably would be glad to see you."

"Everything will be fine," Link reassured.

"I sure hope so."

Once they walked to the village they started walking towards Colin and looked at Link and to Midna and his first reaction was to question him.

"Why did you bring them inside the village." The guard asked.

"Don't worry Jora they're friendly."

"How do you know that?"

At that time Link pulled his hood down.

"Oh, Link I didn't know that it was you standing there."

"I didn't expect you to recognize me because I am in my Twilight Robes."

"You're right."

"Jora I'd like you to meet my wife Midna and My daughter Twila."

Midna walked up and shook Jora's hand. "It's nice to meet you."

Jora nodded his head

"You see Jora when I was saving Hyrule she was there with me."

"I've never seen her."

"That's because she was hiding in my shadow."

"Oh, that's why I don't recognize her."

"Jora welcome back." Another guard said.

"Thank you, Ado."

Link and Midna walked past them without them knowing they were there.

"How come they didn't see you?" Colin asked.

"We used a barrier to prevent them from seeing us." Link replied.

"Since when can you use magic."

"Well, since I've been in the twilight realm I learned a lot of magic spells."

"You know your way around the village. I need to get back to my post."

"Thank you, Colin."

"Anytime Link."

Once Colin walked away Link looked to Midna.

"So, are you ready to meet Uli?"

Midna nodded her head. "Yes, I am."

"Are you nervous?"

"I am a little bit."

Link chuckled. "There's nothing to be nervous about."

"I know but I'm worried what she would think when you tell her that I am your wife."

"What, are you thinking about Ilia."

"Yes, I'm sure she was hoping that you would marry her."

"Maybe I would have if I gave up trying to be with you."

Once they arrived at the door Link looked to Midna and she nodded her head. Link knocked on the door.

"Come in." A voice on the inside replied.

Link opened the door and once he walked in Uli dropped her towel when she saw him.

"Link is that really you."

Link nodded. "Yes, it's me."

"It's so great to see you." Uli walked up and gave him a hug. "And who did you bring with you?"

"Uli I'd like you to meet my wife Midna and my daughter Twila."

"I didn't know that you got married."

"Well, I would have invited you but it was in the Twilight Realm."

"You mean, you married someone from there."

Link nodded. "Yes, not only that but she was the Princess."

"Oh really," She replied. "Could this be the same Midna that you were telling me that you loved."

"Yes, she is the same one."

"Well, I am so happy that you are okay."

"Wait, you're not mad that I married someone else."

"I'm happy if you are happy," Uli said. "How long are you staying?"

"A couple of days." Link replied. "We can't be gone from the Twilight Realm long because we have work to do."

"What do you mean by work?"

"You see, Midna and I are the rulers of the Twilight Realm."

"So you are the King of the Twilight Realm."

Link nodded his head. "Yes."

"That's great news. May I see your daughter."

Midna nodded her head and held Twila out to her. Twila went to her without hesitation."

"Wow, Link she has your blonde hair and blue eyes," Uli said. "I can tell that she's a daddy's girl."

"Yeah, she is."

"Asie is too."

Link looked at her confused. "Who's Asie?"

"That's your new sister."

"Oh, the one you were pregnant with when the Twilight covered the land."

Uli nodded her head. "Yes."

"So can we meet her?" Link and Midna asked.

"She is in school at the castle."

"When will she be home."

"Colin is picking her up right now."

"So that's why he was heading to the castle."

"Wait, you saw him and he didn't tell you about Asie."

Two Days Later

"Well Uli, Midna and I need to head back to the Twilight Realm." Link said over dinner. "We have some work we need to work on."

"Ok, I was hoping you could stay longer but you two have people to take care of."

"We'll try to make some time to where we could stay longer," Midna said.

"Plus, if we don't head back now the Elders are going to worry that something bad happened to us."

"Do you promise that you would visit again?"

"I'm not sure if I can promise that." Link replied. "I'm not guaranteed to be available any time soon. But I could try to move things around."

"It's okay if you can't."

Colin looked to Link. "Make sure you take care of them."

Link nodded. "I will."

"It's been great seeing you again," Uli said.

"Great seeing you again too."

Link and Midna left by teleporting to the Mirror Chamber. They opened the portal to the Twilight Realm. Once they got back Link went to go talk to Vegt the Chief Elder.

"Your Majesty, you are back," Vegt said.

"It's great to be back Vegt." Link replied. "There is something that I would like to discuss with you and the other elders."

"Would you like me to assemble the elders?"

Link nodded his head. "Yes please."

"Okay let give them a call."

Link left to go check on Midna and Twila. Once he got to the royal chambers Midna was walking towards Link.

"Where were you at?" Midna asked.

"I talked to Vegt to get the elders together so I could discuss with them about the Zora alliance."

"Oh yeah, I forgot about them."

"What made you forget them."

"Well, with the visiting with your family in Hyrule I forgot that we ran into them on our way to the Twilight Temple."

Link looked at his watch and noticed that it was about time for the meeting. "Well my love, I have to go or I'll be late."

Link and Midna kissed. "Okay, I wish you didn't have to leave but Chief Vegt would be mad if you are late."

Link walked towards the meeting room. Once he walked in he saw something in his peripheral vision. He turned towards it and what he saw shocked him. There standing before him was Chief Elder Vegt frozen solid..

"Who in the World is responsible for this." Link said.
