A: She's on her way to the hospital with Ashido.

Y: I'm going, but dude, you should be the one here, not me.

A: I'm aware.

A: I'm being called in by the police to review Asp's part in this mess. This could take hours. They need to update his profile now that we know he's Rin's brother. I have the largest amount of information outside of Rin, and I won't have them interrogating her in this state. Nemuri said she'd meet you there as soon as she can.

Y: Her brother.

Y: Shit, is she still cursed? Did that scientist come back? Shit!

Y: What the fuck man!

Y: Dude, update that shit later, Rin needs you.

A: Hizashi don't. I am well aware of what she needs. But Bakugou needs me too. He's being held by them, with a man that is only too willing to cut a child's throat. They're putting a team together now and knowing whether he will react to kill Bakugou first or fight first may mean the difference in that boy's life.

A: That could just as easily be Rin. I won't abandon him.

Y: Ugh, I know but… I'm here, I'll text you updates.

.

.

Y: She is not good. Man, I know you're working but this is worse than last time. She's got a minor concussion, she won't react when I talk to her, and when they tried to get her to change, she nearly scratched up the nurse.

Y: Please tell me you're almost done.

A: Two more hours.

Y: Step out and try to call. Maybe even just your voice will help.

A: Alright.

.

Y: That was awful.

A: I will be there as soon as I finish.

Y: Faster would be even better.

.

.

.

A: Did you get the Principal's call?

Y: Please tell me you told his furry highness where to hang it? This isn't the fucking time to do a fucking media stunt, you're CHILD is in the hospital.

A: Yamada. I know.

Y: Then why are you acting like you're even considering this shit? You've been with the police for damn near 8 hours and now he wants to call an emergency press meeting?

Y: Rin is barely eating. Let the media fucking stew.

A: It's in our contract.

Y: Are you fucking serious? Tell him Rin needs you. Why does it have to be you?

Y: I'll trade with you, or let Vlad do it alone, or better yet, let's quit!

A: Don't be an idiot, our contracts are legally binding.

Y: Fucking bastard! Does Nezu know how bad she is? Do you want me to video call? How about I just shoot a video, because this child is wrecked, and she needs her father. Not me or Nemuri or any of these other bastards.

A: He's aware. He apologized and said as soon as it's over, I can go.

A: He made the decision looking at the larger picture.

Y: I don't care about the larger picture. Fuck them all.

A: I know, damn it. Will you stop?

A: I cannot come.

A: Nezu set the contracts up so that breaking them would immediately begin a board review and suspend our hero license. If my name goes for review, Asp—Kaito will know our address. More than that, it puts Rin's guardianship in jeopardy. It takes six months before the transition is permanent and it's been five.

A: I'll call again and see if I can through to her. Try allowing her peers visitation.

.

.

.

A: You called Nezu?

Y: Of course I did. I cussed that rat bastard out! I love the guy, one of the best bosses I've ever worked for, but Rin needs her father and like hell I'm gonna be quiet about it.

A: I'm assuming you couldn't change his mind since I'm still here with these sharks.

Y: No.

Y: You were right, he's determined to do it anyways. Started lecturing me about politics. Fucker.

A: Thank you.

A: Is she talking?

Y: I got you. And no. Nemuri's with her now. She's been reading her books about farm animals or some nonsense. I honestly don't think the kid's hearing anything she's saying. She just looks off into space. I hate this.

Y: Were you able to get any more info on the brother?

A: Yes. He seems to have gotten into the system and redacted his own reports. But knowing his identity changes everything, we've been able to contact the other two brothers. The police had them down at the station for questioning last night. They didn't know anything about his crimes, neither have spoken to him in three years, but they weren't surprised.

A: We looked into her father, but he's currently in a multi-year sentence for theft. They're going to look into him.

Y: And her mom?

A: Deceased.

Y: Fuck. She doesn't know.

A: I expect not.

A: I have no idea what to do. I have no idea how to help her. This… This is too much for most adults.

Y: Hey, hey, don't give up!

A: I'm not. I won't.

A: But can she even heal from this though?

Y: Nemuri thinks so. It's kinda hard to see right now, but she says it's just because she's disassociating with everything. Once she starts to feel, it'll be a mess though.

.

.

.

A: I want to throttle everyone.

Y: Yeah, tell me about it. Fuck.

Y: I heard she hung up on you.

A: If I weren't fully aware that she was reacting out of trauma, I would ground her for a month. But it's not just her, half the damn class is aware. I just got off the phone with Nemuri.

A: I have no idea where those students are, but if they're kidnapped or killed this entire mockery of a press conference will have been for nothing. Nezu is attempting to assure the world that the heroes are still in control.

A: If I have wasted four hours wearing this damn suit and dealing with these idiotic reporters instead of being in the hospital where I'm actually needed, they will all be expelled.

Y: Damn. Yeah.

Y: How much longer is he keeping you?

A: They're going to wait for the rescue. Once Bakugou's safety is determined, we'll release a second statement and announce the new safety regulations.

Y: The dorms.

A: Yes. I'll leave immediately afterward.

Y: Have you slept at all?

A: Yes, about twenty minutes between cases at the police department.

.

.

.

Y: Is it over?

A: Yes. I'm on my way.

A: Thank you.
